Could I request Jiyan's lover running up to him and snuggling him because they miss his presence?
Home Is in Your Arms
Summary: After days apart, you reunite with Jiyan, as he returns from his mission. Overwhelmed with longing, you rush into his arms, finding solace in his quiet, steadfast presence. Jiyan, always stoic and composed, allows himself to be vulnerable with you, sharing a tender moment that reminds you both of the unbreakable bond you share amidst the chaos of war.

The sun was just beginning to dip behind the mountains, casting Jinzhou in hues of amber and rose. The camp was unusually quiet; most of the Midnight Rangers had returned from their patrols and, by now, had settled into their tents for the evening. Only one figure remained at the edge of the camp, standing against the breeze as though he were part of the landscape itself. Jiyan’s silhouette was framed by the setting sun, his long teal hair catching the dying light as it shifted in the breeze.
You stood back, watching him. It felt as if he’d been gone forever, although it had only been a few days. Each moment without him was like an ache, a silence that stretched too far. Jiyan had warned you before he left that his patrol might take longer, but no amount of preparation had eased the loneliness that crept in each night. Now, with him in sight, that emptiness dissolved, replaced by a warmth you could hardly contain.
Without thinking, you broke into a sprint, your feet barely making a sound as they skimmed over the grass. Jiyan’s back was to you, his gaze fixed somewhere far off, his attention consumed by unspoken thoughts. But the moment you wrapped your arms around him, he knew it was you. A barely perceptible sigh escaped him, his shoulders softening as your arms closed around his waist.
"Back already?" His voice was soft, even as he kept his gaze forward. But his hand found yours, warm and reassuring as he pulled your hands closer against his chest. You felt the steady beat of his heart beneath your palm, grounding you.
"I missed you," you whispered, your face pressed against his back. The fabric of his modified hanfu was rough beneath your cheek, but it held the faint scent of cedar and the earthy tones of the forest. "It feels like you've been gone for ages."
He shifted, slowly turning to face you. Those intense eyes of his softened as they met yours, and a hint of a smile—small, but genuine—played at his lips. It was the smile he saved for moments like these, for you alone.
"I’m here now," he said, reaching up to brush a stray strand of hair from your face. "I didn’t mean to worry you."
You couldn’t help but lean into his touch, craving the warmth of his palm against your cheek. "It’s impossible not to worry about you. Especially when you’re out there, fighting Tacet Discords alone." You paused, looking up into his eyes. "I just… need you to come back to me. Every time."
He let out a soft hum, nodding in that quiet way of his, the way that carried both promise and understanding. "I will." His hand lingered on your face, his thumb tracing gentle circles against your skin. "But remember, there’s something worth returning to."
The vulnerability in his gaze was rare, a crack in the stoic armor he wore around everyone else. And for a brief moment, you saw past the warrior and the general, to the man who sometimes questioned his path, who worried about the battles he couldn’t fight with strength alone.
You slipped your arms around him again, and this time, he didn’t hesitate. He drew you close, wrapping his arms around you with a gentle firmness that left no space between you. It was as though he, too, had missed the comfort of your embrace, had needed this closeness more than he could admit.
For a long time, the two of you stood there in silence. His fingers ran soothingly along your back, grounding you in his warmth, his presence. The world around you faded, the distant threat of Tacet Discords, the quiet of the camp, everything except the steady beat of his heart against yours.
“I’ll come back to you, every time,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "No matter how far I go."
You nodded, not needing any further words. In that embrace, you understood that, for tonight at least, he was home.

why do you write/make bots for men if you aren’t attracted to males? (i don’t mean to sound mean or anything i’m just genuinely curious)
you’re good! i expected this question. to me writing bots are like little character studies. having only 2048 charas to set a scene, delve into their introspective and lace headcanon and canon is enjoyable to me on a pure writerly basis. this is a large reason as to why i wrote for challengers so much. i have analysed that movie to pieces and a lot of those pieces can be found in those bot greetings. i honestly just enjoy writing.
i have never chatted with any of my m!bots recreationally for the fact that since i don’t like men, i don’t get anything out of it. a lot of the greetings are overtly sexual because: sex sells.

#I love how out of so many callbacks in E41 (and even a direct E01 flashback) we also get this tiny little E01 callback#I love how Mahidevran immediately steps in to assure her son that she won't leave him in *any* uncertainty that may come#whether it's about them both facing the unknown future in Topkapi for the first time that would truly point to the separation Mustafa fears#(but rather separation from Süleiman and Ibrahim for *both* Musti and Mahi right from the start that Musti will sense and not take well)#or *someone else* facing an unknown future with the *exact* seperation attached to it that Mustafa fears - separation from mom#(and Musti relates and sympathizes with that situation instead perhaps namely due to whatever separation he's experienced)#(also Musti having grown fonder of his brothers as well; this whole gifset can sorta sum up Mustafa's development#re: his feelings for his brothers up until now but that will be a post for another day:))#I love how both scenes are staged with the direction emphasizing the vastness of the castle in E01 making Musti and Mahi smaller as if#they are sucked in already before even entering there but they still lean on each other seeking each other like a child seeks#his mother's closeness and E41 being set in Mahi's chambers the castle having already become their home and Musti getting this#accustomed that he has his own chambers already and goes to his mother's just to visit but always feeling at ease & the same goes for Mahi#they're already used to some distance and it is even encouraged to an extent (E34) but they're always there for each other#and Mahi gets joyful relief of SS calling hse in her chambers instead of the frantic nervousness that overtook her in E01#when SS didn't even *visit* her and her son; Mustafa gets a little sad look when SS calls her here instead of the insistence for#SS and Ibrahim to come but he goes to his room calmly & respectfully anyway for his mother to have her moment while in E01 he couldn't see#anything outside of his father's absense and of course he's like that he's a child but it's like they've all grown up and come so far aww#also the reversal of their positions in the two scenes and them talking on equal footing <33#just me fangirling all around for no reason <33#magnificent century#muhteşem yüzyıl#muhtesem yuzyil#mahidevran sultan#sehzade mustafa

Just read your post about Nie Mingjue not understanding Jin Guangyao’s excuses not to throw Xue Yang out of the Jin window. I love your insight!!!
May I ask what, in your opinion, was Lan Xichen’s view on all this? Because he is the peacemaker, he seems to side with jgy always, but also can’t possibly know about the demonic cultivation…
(that’s the post, btw. Don’t know if you’ve made more than one) https://www.tumblr.com/lgbtlunaverse/744152124570697728?source=share
I'd argue that lan xichen doesn't really always side with jin guangyao, and related to this exact incident we can later hear him telling jin guangyao not to "provoke" Nie Mingjue anymore, while assuring him that things with da-ge are fine. He's a peacemaker, like you said. His ideal solution is getting everyone to just be nice to each other. And because Nie Mingjue is the one most outwardly angry, his first instinct in any fight is to get him to calm down so they can have a civil discussion or, even better, just drop the subject and pretend it never happened. Since jin guangyao is usually also eager to drop the subject, this means they end up agreeing. But it's more of a sign that their methods of conflict resolution are compatible than a sign that they always agree. (There are certainly times lxc genuinely agrees with jgy and disagrees with nmj! But i'd say it's not as universal as fandom makes it seem)
Indeed, since Xichen also doesn't know about the demonic cultivation, I kind of believe Xichen sort of agrees with Nie Mingjue that Jin Guangyao could get away with killing xue yang– he just thinks da-ge's way is the wrong way to go about asking that of him– because as far as xichen is concerned, jin guangyao actually was planning on killing Xue Yang!
Remember, after the fight, jgy tells nmj that he'll bring him xue yang's head. To Xichen, this is a satisfying solution, because it gets da-ge what he wants so he can calm down, which is always xichen's goal. If he believed doing this put jgy in serious danger, he might have objected a bit more. But he evidently thinks the risk is minor enough to be worth it for the ultimate sake of peace.
Him stopping nmj is about just that, making sure no one gets killed. And reminding nmj that jgy's family mistreats him, in that light, sounds less like an argument that he can't do it and more of a plea to give him more time to figure things out. (Again, Xichen is always eager to delay or avoid confrontation)
To Xichen, here's what happened: Jin Guangshan refuses to kill xue yang, nmj got really mad at a-yao over that, xichen de-escalated the situation, and a-yao promised to kill xue yang, he just needed time to do so. Yay! Solved! Except then da-ge died. (Yes, jgy killed him, and was never planning on killing xue yang, but xichen didn't know that) And xue yang was freed, but a-yao and he were busy grieving their oldest sworn brother! They kind of had other things going on! And then, some amount of months later, Jin Guangshan died, A-Yao became chief cultivator, and promptly killed xue yang! (He wasn't dead, but xichen didn't know that) Everything worked out in the end, it's only an unfortunate tragedy that da-ge died too soon to see that a-yao really was dedicated to him. 😔
We don't know what his exact reaction was before the nieyao stairs confrontation, but it was probably in the rough shape of xichen very politely asking jgy if he could at least try to convince his dad, and jgy saying he would but he wasn't sure if it'd work. That seems like something they'd do.

thinking abt what you said with house viewing Benny as a son and I’m obsessed. Like. The man spent most of his life before the war presumably alone, and then after the bombs fell he was alone again, save for AI he himself devised. Then he decides to pull in some Tribes, and one kid shows promise! So sure, treat him well, train him, groom him to be his protege, then next thing you know UH OH he’s got developing paternal feelings towards this guy. Wanting some semblance of a family when the time has long since passed, yet fostering that feeling all the same seems so accurate for him. Benny meanwhile only views him as a boss, and not a particularly good one at that. makes me wonder how House must’ve felt when he found out about Bennys plans
I view it as House blames only himself for this, cause he kind of does in canon (strap in this is a long one).
When reflecting on the issue of Benny, House chastises himself first and foremost for not acting quickly enough when it comes to priming Benny. He describes Benny as being ambitious, ruthless and capable; compliments coming from a man like House. House has an ego and while he is logical enough to understand there was never any evidence Benny saw him as a father-figure, he lacks the humility to admit he let his own views on his relationship with Benny blind him to the activities happening behind the scenes.
I doubt that House was as aware as he makes out about what Benny was doing, he knew early on but certainly not early enough to stop Benny from hacking and obtaining a securitron along with getting the chip in the first place. I take it he was distracted by all the possibilities he was calculating of Vegas' success and growth with him steering and Benny as the new figure head, not because of any normal affection for Benny but the admiration of his capabilities. It's to be noted that House believed menial incentives (likely caps, booze, basic needs, etc..) were enough to keep Benny tame like the other Chairmen but, as evidenced by the Omertas and Mortimer in the WGS, this is not enough when it comes to more driven Vegas citizens. This implies he still undervalued Benny and created a space in which Benny felt the need to rebel.
House in my eyes is not sentimental in the traditional sense. I can imagine his pride was severely scorned as someone he certainly deemed dumber than him was, albeit only for a little, able to out-gambit him. It would definitely hit home seeing how his brother also betrayed him but I feel like that's why he's so apathetic when he tells the Courier to do as they see fit with Benny. I doubt the way he terrorized his brother brought him any emotional satisfaction other than a "Now who's in charge!" ego boost. Putting that same emotional intensity towards Benny isn't worth it because who does it benefit? Wasted time, wasted planning, and most importantly wasted potential are all he gets from continuing to be hands-on with Benny. I say the closest example is not being able to throw out old toys due to the memories attached but knowing it's necessary as they are broken or just taking up space for new ones, and then asking someone else to do it so you don't need to get caught up in the feelings of throwing something you put so much effort into. It's not Benny House cares about in my mind, not in a way that sounds healthy to any non-emotionally constipated individual, but what he could've represented for him, which is why he so quickly offers the same position to the Courier.
As for Benny's view on all of this, it was a long time coming. Benny didn't and doesn't believe House is a completely shitty boss. He admires what he's been shown and admits House knows how to run the strip, but disagrees with the directions. Ideologically, House is an anarcho-capitalist while Benny is just an anarchist. House wants to run the strip to profit, though money is not what he's concerned with being rich with anymore. Benny wants a free state that he wishes to become a place for the people, except for the Chairmen who would be on top (I like to remind people that Benny's motives were selfish but not for personal gain/power as was it for the people he actually saw as family). Benny was never looking for a father but a future. He was not interested in being adopted, or having the chairmen adopted, as bigger names still overshadowed in House's legacy.
Truly, it's easiest to summarize as House feeling strongly and thinking positively enough of Benny to start incorporating him into the future of Vegas (a huge honor actually) while Benny was so disillusioned by House's ego and indifference that he thought the only way Vegas could be the future is with House gone.
#tdlr House saw Benny as the perfect face of his Legacy while Benny saw his legacy as a stagnant mosquito infested pond#its more complex as house certainly would of been irate if he hadn't known and the courier came to kick benny's ass#but more someone being mad youre fucking with their things#i likely thing that even in a more traditional father son relationship House is conditional and would force Benny to confrom more to his#standards as I also believe the Chairmen are more tightly monitered due to bennys unique relation to house and being the first tribe#so itd be smothering and oppressive for someone like Benny even though imposing his beliefs and standards would be how House shows affectio#and fatherly praise which would result in Benny probably wanting to act out even more. like the only way a father son dynamic is healthy an#works is if house would relent some control and show he sees benny as an equal which would never happen cause its house but its still tragi#to me cause house has that longing for something more personal to him than Vegas and tries to fill it with progress cause its rather hard#to create those bonds in the state he is in and benny was the closest thing to that and even that he inadvertently ruined#but on benny house kinda ruined him cause the chairmen for all intents and purposes liked and trusted benny as a leader after bingo who#benny really only killed because of the illusions of grandeur house put into a young impressionable mind and how bingo refused to hear him#not to absolve him of his wrongdoings and being a dick but benny didnt just attack bingo he challenged him and won and in the end while#nostalgic none of the chairmen choose to leave and go back to the old way which says something cause they can leave#this is long and honestly should a seperate post on benny cause i have thoughts on him and how more people need to add his all roads traits#to get a cohesive picture of how hed really act#benny gecko#benny fnv#fallout#fallout new vegas#robert edwin house#mr house fnv#mr house#ask#anon#sorry if this is confusing I have very indepth thoughts on all aspects and possibilites on how unhealthy and power inbalancey anything#with house would be but this is so interesting cause its oddly vulnerable for house of all people to disclose this to the courier

Yknow I feel like Void gets villainized a lot more than he deserves. Like yeah he was kind of a dick in the first week and genuinely dangerous in the second one, but BF was also the one egging him on and then tried to do that shit again without a crowd around. Yes void is egotistical but he's sure not a bad guy. Dudes just a little mentally unwell and seems like he was doing just fine until BF started one-upping him both privately and publicly.
Which now that I think about it, wasn't BF legit trespassing on stage during one of his concerts? And then after beating him multiples times went to find him again purely for a rematch? That is so close to just insane fan behavior tbh. Most I can really fault Void for is letting BF continue to do what he was doing and not kick him out when the Accretions thought that he should. He probably knew that it wouldn't go well for him but also didn't want to stop and never know if he actually couldn't have beat him at full strength. I think at the end of the day Void is just someone who's a little egotistical and stubborn, but his breakdown was majorly influenced more by the fact that someone just kept pushing their own luck and tried to beat Void at his own game, even when it was clearly sending him into a mental breakdown.

I like this scene because when I was writing it I was thinking about how fun everything would be once Alberu joins the party ahaha
This poor guy will not only have to deal with Regressor Cale, but Regressor Choi Han AND Kim Roksoo. Those three will never let the opportunity to tease Alberu slip by. Also I find this one scene really funny because Alberu is absolutely thinking to himself ‘what the hell was that’ when he made eye contact with Cale, the young master of the Henituse family who is famous for his brutal honesty and words, is smiling at him in a way that reminded Alberu too much of himself.
Realistically, there should be no way the young master knows anything about him, not when they had only exchanged a few greetings in passing. Sure, the Henituse county was rich, but they had no reason to dig for information on him unless he provoked them. So why did it feel like Cale Henituse knew something very important about him?

thinking about superheroes unfortunately
#random thoughts#let me daydream about batman in peace#love the dynamic between spiderman and deadpool#it's that kind of dynamic i love where two people have power over each other in different ways#like spiderman is a well-loved public figure and deadpool's idol while deadpool is a dangerous mercenary with regeneration powers#physically deadpool probably outmatches spiderman through sheer dogged perseverance#while in the public eye spiderman is more well-liked AND deadpool is feverishly obsessed with him#i'm gonna keep forgetting the hyphen between spider and man btw fuck the world#loving the idea of a spiderman who KNOWS deadpool can do better and believes in him while deadpool gives him a space where HE can be himsel#like spiderman has so many masks he has to put on around other people#i think deadpool should be one of the few people he can truly let himself loose around#yknow before he can get to a point where he can reveal he's peter parker#also i think peter parker in his ideal state suffers from severe identity and self confidence issues#like he thinks spiderman is a seperate persona he puts on which is superior to himself in every way#(okay seperate thought: DID spiderman. the spider bite being so traumatic it led to him creating a split personality to cope.)#(or separate. whatever.)#also age difference. peter should be in his mid-twenties while deadpool should be in his thirties. need more power imbalance#also they're both sa survivors and their personalities could be interpreted as them handling it in vastly different ways#with deadpool being hypersexual and spiderman being flirtatious yet distant and peter parker being borderline celibate#though honestly i could leave spiderman being an sa survivor given it was a whole 'gay people are all predators' psa#also i think spiderman should have been held back in high school. due to struggles relating to being spiderman#so he graduated late and now he's going to community college#peter parker has the luxury of going incognito. wade wilson will always be stared at no matter what he's wearing#deadpool who every superhero hates. spiderman who every superhero organization is trying to recruit desperately#also i think peter should admire wade. physically. built like a brick shithouse that one#also the third act low point CAN'T be about spiderman feeling guilty because deadpool kills people#okay? it's overdone. we've seen it. it's lame#i prefer when their opposing views on murder are treated in a more 'death penalty or no' way rather than assuming deadpool is always wrong#because spiderman's idyllic 'people can change' beliefs can be just as wrong as deadpool's 'assholes deserve to die' beliefs#and spiderman has definitely killed people are you kidding me. both accidentally and on purpose

The reason Until Dawn ended up being such a hit while the Dark Pictures Anthology + The Quarry missed the mark was due to the singular horror that comes from the horrible realization that oh god no everything has actually been two seperate entities this entire time.

Save the Tiger (Grateful for what we have)
(I am HEARTWRENCHED by today's episodes. They have absolutely broken me. Not sure if I'll get this out by the end of today but regardless let's take our eyes off Harada and Hama for a minute and focus a little more on Chiba and... Ya know)
Breakfast and Lunch both came and went without much trouble for Chiba. The day was oddly quiet... Especially when Adrenaline was being pumped in through the ventilation.
Hayashi decided to permanently keep watch on Yanagi, with Watari and Tamba tagging in whenever she needed to grab food or water for him. Wada still hasn't woken up due to the motive, though Tsuno still tries her best to take care of him and Kamimura... Ojima, Harada, Hama, Okazaki, and Hasegawa are all off each doing... Something by themselves. Chiba didn't know. That only left...
Nakamigawa...
Chiba began to worry about Hiroaki's disappearance, especially with most of everyone having failed to noticed him gone. Eventually, however, as she went to the Nurse's office for some disinfetant, she noticed a strange small light behind the door.
Quietly peeking in, Airi saw Nakamigawa sitting cross-legged on the floor, candles surrounding his body as he seemed to be in quiet thought. On the bed in front of him, a small notebook laid open, on the left... Handwriting that looked vaguely familiar to Chiba. And on the right... .... ... Oh...
"Sasaki-chan..." Airi mumbles.
"GAH!" Hiroaki jumps, nearly knocking over the candles. "Jeez, Chiba. You ever learned to knock?!"
"I'm sorry... I just wanted to come get some disinfectant... And then I saw you..."
"Yeah, well, it's on the left cabinet. I can grab some down if your stupid stub legs can't reach it."
"...Are you holding a funeral?"
"I... What?" Hiroaki stops, his expression softening.
"For Sasaki-chan... When she died... No one gave her any remembrance... But that's what you're doing right now... Right?"
"I... How did you?"
"You drew her face in the Notebook... It looks nice..."
"...Well, thank Takeshi. He's been teaching me how to draw them. I was shit at faces before but… He’s got a certain way to see the world.”
"...Can I join you? I promise I'll be quiet. I just... wanted to get a chance to say Goodbye..."
"...Yeah. Sure." Hiroaki sighs.
Chiba quietly walks over to Hiroaki, sitting outside the ring of Candles as she stares up at Sasaki's memorial. She quietly lowered her head and closed her eyes, taking a moment to really take it all in...
Hitomi-chan... She was a bit strict at times... But Chiba never suspected what we she was feeling. All the stress she put on herself... All the exhaustion that continued to overwhelm her... Day after day... The tears she spelt when begging for her life. Not that of a Girl Scared of Punishment, but of a Remorseful Woman who wanted to make things right... Even though she knew she couldn't.
And yet... Behind all that, Chiba always felt something deeper. Like Sasaki had a side of her everyone never got to see, due to the Killing Game... The Motive... And the short time we were forced to endure together... She wondered... Was Sasaki-chan really all that bad?
"...You wanna say a few words?" Hiroaki asks.
"Hmm?" Chiba looks up, her thoughts still at the edge of her mind.
"Talk to her... Say anything you didn't get to say."
"...Sure."
Chiba stands up and quietly walks over to the Memoriam. She looks into the eyes of Sasaki's picture... Her sharp eyes staring back into Chiba's soul.
"Hitomi... I know we never got to talk much... For obvious reasons. I... never quite got the chance to figure out what kind of person you were. But... You seemed Smart... And well-intentioned at least. I know you didn't want to kill anyone... You were just scared. I'm not saying you were right for doing it... But I can understand why... So.... I forgive you."
Hiroaki's eyebrows raise at that final statement, intrigued by Chiba's statement.
"Obviously I don't think you killing Isono was the right thing, I don't forgive you for that. You took Isono's life from her... But, at the trial, when you tried to mislead us... Even if you didn't know whether or not we would all be killed on your escape... I... I understand. You were scared... You had committed something horrible, and your clock was ticking... So... I forgive you. For trying to mislead us. I know most people would try to do the same... And you weren't trying to kill all of us... You just didn't want to die... And... I'm sorry... I'm sorry you had to suffer through all this alone."
"...Damn. That was well put together." Hiroaki mumbles.
"...Thank you." Chiba whispers, sitting back down.
There are a few more moments of tranquil silence, the room illuminated by the quiet light of the Candles as Sasaki's picture watched over the two Ultimates. Both of whom were attacked... And both who would live to see another day... For Isono's... And for her sake.
"...Thanks for coming to do this. I usually do this shit alone, but having someone else... I dunno... Makes me feel like I'm not alone in this..."
"You're welcome." Chiba nods.
Hiroaki sighs. "Well... How you holding up?"
"Huh?"
"Your arm, you said you came to get disinfectant. I assume that means it's still injured pretty bad. You holding up alright?"
"Oh... Yeah. I'm fine. It stings a little, but not as much as last night."
"We really need to sort out that vent thing. If you cut yourself on that metal again, we're gonna have a real issue."
"I'll be more careful next time. I promise." Chiba insists.
"How did you even fail to see the metal? It wasn't THAT Dark in the vents, was it?"
Chiba suddenly tensed up. She hadn't been expecting people to ask further questions. Most times, whenever she lied, people took it at face value. She was an actor, after all. People were easily convinced.... Shit.
"I-I was distracted. I heard noises and was curious. I wasn't focused."
Hiroaki narrows his eyes, suspicious. "From where?"
"T-the Library? I think?"
"So you heard noises coming up from the Library, and though you could investigate it from the floor on the vent below?"
"U-uh... Yeah?"
"...You lying bitch." Hiroaki mutters, his eyes widening. "You made that whole story up!"
"W-what?! No I didn't!"
"You're stuttering! People aren't usually telling the truth when they stutter!"
"M-maybe I'm just nervous cause you're pressuring me!!!"
"Bullshit! What the hell happened in there?!"
"I already told you!"
"Liar!" Hiroaki growls, standing up. "You're willing to vent to me about all the little feelings towards the woman that tried to kill us, but you aren't willing to tell the people that care about you about stuff that might actually be important?!"
"It's not like that!"
"Then what the hell is it, Airi?!"
"I can't tell you!"
"Why not?!"
"Cause you'll hurt her!!!"
"And?! If they're willing to try and attack you while you're doing your damndest to escape, they deserve to be hurt!!!"
"No!"
Hiroaki's fed up. He grabs Chiba by the arm and pulls up her sleeve, unwrapping the bandages, much to Chiba's dismay.
"Three Scratch Marks... Aimed directly on the under side of the Forearm. If your arm were facing like that, you'd be protecting something... You'd be protecting..." HIroaki trails off as his eyes widen.
"H-hiroaki?!"
"...I'm gonna kill that fucking Tiger."
"NO!" Chiba struggles, and kicks Hiroaki in the jewels. Hiroaki howls and drops the Star, letting her run and block the door.
"I won't let you hurt her!" Chiba calls out.
"Out of my fucking way brat!" Hiroaki snaps.
"No! She didn't do anything wrong! It's just the Motive!"
"Who the hell cares?! It was a shit idea for fucking Let's Go Diego to bring that fucking animal into a fucking school in the first place! But now that cat's trying to fucking kill you?! No fucking way!"
"Leave her alone!" Chiba cries.
"If you don't let me end that fucking cat in te next two second, I'll make sure you'll never climb that stupid rope again!"
"If you kill me, you'll die! And you'll never get out of here!"
"I never said that. I'll just break your stupid fucking legs, so your stupid brat ass can NEVER-"
"NAKAMIGAWA!!!"
The argument is suddenly silenced by a loud shout. Hiroaki and Chiba turn to the door. Ojima is standing just outside, his face filled with rage. Chiba allows him to enter reluctantly as the Illustrator storms in.
"What the hell did you just say?!?!" Ojima snaps.
"I-I wasn't-"
"Why the hell were you threatening to hurt Chiba?!"
"I- The Tiger... Chiba she fucking... This brat doesn't know what's good for her!"
"I do! Stop treating me like a stupid kid!" Chiba snaps.
"If you're trying to protect her, then why did you threaten to break her legs?!"
"Because she's trying to get herself killed!!!"
"That's your solution?! Not to talk it out, or try and explain what's right?!"
"I tried to explain! But this stupid brat refuses to listen!!!"
Chiba huffs and turns away from Hiroaki, angry tears streaming from her face.
Takeshi sighs. "Nakamigawa... Go to your room. Don't do any rash shit. I'll talk to Chiba and get to the bottom of things. Then, we can talk about what to do next. Instead of you trying to take action on your own."
"I- ...Fuck." Hiroaki growls as he storms off, his face raging as he stomps off to his dorm.
Ojima turns around and leans down to Chiba. "Hey... I'm sorry about that. I know it sounded like it... But he didn't mean any of it. Adrenaline's a bitch, right?" Ojima jokes.
Chiba refuses to turn around, her rage still at the forefront of her mind.
Ojima sighs. "Look... You mind telling me what happened? I promise I won't do what Hiroaki did. I'll hear you out... And I won't do anything as rash. I promise."
"...She didn't mean it." Chiba mumbles.
"Hmm? 'She'?"
Chiba turns around, tears still streaming down, though those now tears of sadness. "Sawa... She just got too excited... And Harada. He tried to stop her. She didn't want to hurt me... And I didn't want to hurt her either. It was an accident."
"... Is that why your arm is cut?"
Chiba nods, wiping her eyes. "I didn't want to hide it. I just didn't want Sawa to get hurt because of me."
"That's very noble... But also dangerous. If you don't tell us the truth, and Sawa gets riled up again, we won't know what she'll be capable of. We don't have to hurt Sawa... But we need you to tell us the truth... Ok?" Chiba hesitates, before letting out a solemn. "Mmhmm..."
"Good... I'm glad you're ok Chiba." Ojima mutters, wrapping Chiba in a hug.
The actor hugs him back, taking a moment to compose herself. The room is silent, the candles from Sasaki's funeral still flickering as the two calm themselves in solemn silence.
Finally, Takeshi breaks the hug off. "Now, I'm gonna go talk to Ojima for a bit. Then, I want to meet you in the library."
"How come?" Chiba asks.
"I want to show you your story." Ojima smiles.
"You finished?!" Chiba says, her mood perking up as she smiles at Ojima.
"Yup! Though, if you want, we could try adding even more to the story, or even start a new one!"
"Yes, yes! Another story!" Chiba smiles.
"Right! Well, I'll be waiting for you there!"
"Yeah! I got so many ideas! I can't wait to share them with you!"
"I look forward to it!" Ojima gives Chiba a final wave as he exits the room, presumably to calm Hiroaki down.
As Chiba is left in the dark office once again, she turns back to the funeral set up for Sasaki... She quietly blows out the candles and gently sets the candles on the desk, making sure each flame is extinguished. Then, she grabs the Notebook and gently closes it, before setting it next to the candles. She writes a small note, asking whoever finds it to return the notebook and other items to Sasaki's room.
Finally, Chiba approaches the door, and turns around, looking at the empty hall.... She gives a small wave to the room, before closing the door behind her, allowing her to, if only temporarily, give closure to this chapter of her life...
