This is my daily struggle, I had so many arguments with people with off-leash dogs (in a mandatory leash area!!!). Thanks to this behavior I'm struggling with Kim being anxious/aggressive with other females as she often gets involved in unpleased interactions with free females while on leash. And every single time that I ask for the dog to be at least recalled, I'm being called names and insulted of course.

Also 9 out of 10 their dog isn't really that friendly at all.

It's so hilarious to me how in queer media that actually accurately represents queer people (adults) there's always some kind of murder or other unforgivable mistakes involved??? cause I'm seeing this fucking pattern a lot recently. not just for albus, not just in this fandom, everywhere. ‼️ no one can fucking handle flawed characters anymore ‼️ the only thing any character is allowed to have wrong with them is trauma apparently, otherwise they have to be perfect, and I'm getting sick of it. characters and stories are meant to reflect real life, they're meant to help shape our world view, why are you expecting everyone to be fucking perfect??? what happened to nuance? what happened to understanding character development? you are all acting like characters and people are so black and white. either they're perfect or they're insufferable and evil. I won't lie, the most common victims i've noticed of this are women. but the flawed women are typically demonised, whereas the men are typically turned into uwu baby boys who actually aren't capable of doing anything wrong and then fanon goes nuts making them into ittle wittle victims. and I'm so fucking sick of all of it, I hate this. (obviously this is not a strict rule. Albus Potter, and also Albus Dumbledore now I mention it, are demonised beyond belief)

Modern AU Berk is either a tiny mostly unheard of self-governing Archipelago somewhere in the middle of the norwegian sea, or its a tiny also unheard of island that's close enough to mainland to have a bridge. Regardless they have their own language that's not even the official language of the region, it sounds grating to literally anyone not from there.

The main town (it's not the only one on the island but is the largest), the Village of Berk, is a fishing town and is the kind of place where no one ever leaves; most of the families have been there for generations and people very rarely move there. There's a very short list of things for entertainment that aren't wandering in the woods. The movie theater only has movies that premiered months ago and the wifi is shit no matter what, you will never watch a YouTube video in hd.

Despite all this, it could be a good tourist location for the scenery, if the people that live there weren't so unpleasant, that is.

this dialogue is interesting....

now that we're finished (most likely) with kunigami's time in NEL, its got me thinking about the purpose of his character and honestly..

it makes sense why his arc hasnt happened yet.

it feels like this is something theyre trying to build up, and i feel like kunigami's story with the wc will tie in with the meta of both blue lock and its ideology. after all, his existence in itself was now and then a direct contradiction to it. i can even see further depth on ego's character, his ideals, and his backstory being built from it.

ive seen people criticize kaneshiro for the writing of kunigami thus far and while i understand them to an extent, its not like kaneshiro abandoned kunigami completely. he's left hints and pieces for what his arc may entail to: lines that seem off, moments where the old kunigami shines through, panels that raise questions. all while kunigami disappears into the background, always overshadowed by the other characters whose egos are being put on full display. who have had their 'protagonist' moment. meanwhile, kunigami is being told to put his away. to 'abandon' his ego.

and yet, there are moments where it feels like kunigami is trying to fight that. when he tries to make a goal on his own, tries to steal the ball, after being gone for chapters on end. like the story is trying to sideline him, but kunigami keeps pushing his way to the front.

its not that his arc has been neglected; it just that it hasn't happened yet. or rather.. this neglect is part of his arc.

i have a feeling that when kunigami finally gets the focus, its going to be something incredible.

I've got a bit of a complicated train itinerary tomorrow and it's giving me such anxiety. I really want to check this place out but the last train is so early and I have to get up earlier than usual to have enough time and there's so many connections to catch and I don't know if I'll even be able to get to any of the stuff I want to see and it's so frustrating because this would be SO easy if I just had a car. And yet this whole country acts like I'm fucking nuts for that.

When I asked the coworkers who suggested this trip if it was something that required a car, they made fun of me. But looking at these fucking train schedules I have no idea why that was a stupid question. This is the most inconvenient shit ever and absolutely something that requires a car if you actually want to see anything.

And all I can think about is that I am going to get stranded again and not be able to get home, that I'm going to miss that last train or it will be cancelled again and it makes me just like... not even want to go. I have zero control over whether or not I get stranded because they cancel trains whenever they feel like it. I have a pit in my stomach and it's like why even bother.
