JULY REC FICS
Hello, my sweets!! I wanted to try something out to provide my full and utter support to all the amazing writers I've come across in the form of monthly rec fics (starting this month). Join me in giving them love through comments and reblogs. It really is a joy to hear how you're doing as a writer. It makes up for all the angst we write lol
I will be going based on what I've read recently and not by the date the fic was posted. And the number of fics will depend on how much I've read the entire month. Also, please respect these writers. Some contents are 18+, so MINORS should not be interacting in any way, especially when the authors themselves specify it.
— ✿ — ✿ ✿ — ✿ ✿ ✿
Spencer Reid
✿ a question unasked by @easy-there-leftovers ↳ SOOOO ADORABLE. I'm a workaholic craze gal, so it speaks to me on a silly level.
✿ missing the happy hormone by @lavenderspence ↳ I'm a sucker for Spencer fluff this month, what can I say? This fic Tina made had my waterworks going on for about a minute because it's so sweet
✿ desk duty by @reiderwriter ↳ All you have to know is the amount of evil laugh I made while reading this
✿ the theory of love by @ophelia-is-complex ↳ Genuine intimacy is quite a challenge to write, but THIS ONE, this one had me in a sappy mood
✿ like nothing matters by @cerisereids ↳ gagged and had to pause the reading so many times because HELLO— had me spiraling at work
✿ the devils disguise by @qlossytbh ↳ I said I sobbed a little bit, but I actually cried so much I ended up taking a nap and felt better afterward. It's all fluff, though, don't get me wrong. I'm just very dramatic when the red devil's on the clock
✿ not so funny by @reidmania ↳ Angsty, that made me wanna start a fight with some random twiggy tall guy. Sooooo good!
✿ cloaked in passions touch by @raekensluver ↳ If you don't like Spencer's hands, you're fucking lying to yourself!!!!!
✿ language of devotion by @gghostwriter ↳ I'm in love with reid, and this fic just had me stumbling back onto his lap like a good gal
✿ this req response by @mandarinmoons ↳ Sorry, I'm not sure what the title is, but it's so adorable and got me to go to work, so kind of a lifesaver tbh
✿ hallucinate by @gghostwriter ↳ Oooo, this one was so cute, hehe. Honestly, I lean towards Spencer fluff lately just because I've been too overstimulated with work this past month, so READ THIS ONE ITS CUTE
✿ it's golden, like daylight by @dudeitiskarev ↳ I actually felt like I was reader the entire time I read this. It's well-written and so adorable and something that should be framed in a museum

DO I WANNA KNOW? pt2 fc43
summary: franco realizes he wants more.
wc: 2.3k
warnings: 18+, pinv, oral, fingering and everything, L word obv. a little bit of anxiety related erectile dysfunction i did not read this through very well

Franco was acting different, you knew that, all your friends knew too. The thing was that they knew why but wouldn’t tell you. You tried making your friend talk multiple times but she would budge, you were starting to think it was something bad. Maybe he wanted to end your little arrangement and didn’t know how to, maybe you had done something wrong or maybe he just wasn’t into you anymore.
You started to keep your distance, you didn’t want him to be forced to hang out with you and maybe if you eased out of your situationship then there wouldn’t have to be an actual conversation or ‘breakup’.
And as far as situationships go, you were driving each other insane. All your friends were watching closely, it was funny really. You both thought they didn’t know about you but they had found out the same night when you ended up sleeping in the guest room before he snuck out in the morning. The – not so – subtle questions you’d ask only gave them more insight of what you two had going on. Questions like “Is she seeing someone?” or “do you think he’s been acting weird?” were being thrown and discussed in a group chat without you two.
On one side Franco had just started to feel confident enough in your relationship to confess, tell you that he wanted more. But it was making him nervous. On the other side, you were completely misreading his nervousness as something else, like he wasn’t enjoying being with you. In your defense he had gone soft on you twice because of his overthinking.
“I know we talked about you coming over tomorrow but turns out I have plans” you lied as he came back from the bathroom.
“Oh? Okay.” he tried to understand but didn’t miss the weird way you brought it up “Can I still sleep over, though? Don’t wanna drive back home. Tired”
Franco left the next morning and you didn’t talk that weekend or the week after that. And the next time the group got together you said you couldn’t make it, you would be studying for a test – which was true – but that night Franco took the opportunity to talk to your friend.
“Tina, do you think she has been acting different lately?”
“Oh, god, you will drive each other insane.” she said, taking a sip of her drink “We know you’ve got something going on so please just tell me so I can help”
So there he was, sitting in a booth in the club boring Tina to death as he told her everything he deemed important about your relationship.
“Look,” she spoke when he finished, “from what I’ve gathered, she thinks you’re not into her anymore and to be fair I’m guessing you’re the guy that went soft on her twice.”
“She told you? I was- I don’t have to explain myself to you” he realized.
“Didn’t ask you to. Franco, the point is, I think she’s really into you and you should do something about it because she’s trying to push you away”
“How could she possibly think I’m not into her? I’ve been throwing myself at her for over a year!” he was genuinely surprised and couldn’t understand how you came to that conclusion.
“Then maybe keep doing it, okay? She says you’ve been acting different, I get it that you’re nervous about telling her but you can’t let that affect your performance, darling, apparently that’s all your relationship is based on”
“I hate you. Why would she tell you that?” he whined “She won’t really talk to me, she’s making excuses and avoiding my texts.” his explanation comes out as a sigh.
“Bother her a little more, show up to her house, she’ll give in eventually.” she shrugged, getting up from her seat.
Franco left the club earlier that night and texted you before getting in his car. “you still awake?”
You rolled your eyes at the text, yes you were still awake at one in the morning, but it was because you were busy. “i’m studying franco” “not a good time.”
He only read your text, didn’t say anything else because he was driving. Driving to your place but not without a quick stop to a 24 hour grocery store. He knew that if you had been deep into your studies to be up that late you deserved some good snacks and just as he was leaving he saw some mediocre flowers, they would have to do, so he picked a small colorful bouquet – he didn’t know your favorite color but it was surely amongst them.
He didn’t text or call cause you would tell him no, so he just showed up at your door and knocked. You knew immediately it was him.
“Fran, I said I’m bu-“ your mouth stopped moving when you saw him with a grocery bag and the flowers in his hand. Franco froze, he forgot to think of what to say. “I told you I was busy”
After a couple of seconds – that felt way too long for him – staring at you he finally spoke, “I thought you might be needing some rewards, for studying so hard” he lifted up the bag, showing it to you.
You stood in front of him, your head rested against the door, watching him smile a little when he realized you were wearing his shirt. “Hope you don’t mind”
“No, never. Guess if I forgot it wasn’t that important in the first place.” he paused for a second, still looking at you “I got you these” he lifted the flowers “figured the ones you had last time I was here would be dead by now. I realized I don’t know your favorite color, or what flowers you like, think I was too busy looking at something else other than your flowers. I guessed you had to like at least one flower or one color from this one.”
“Fran, what is this about?”
“I wante- Can I come in?” he asked nervously.
You moved out of the doorway to let him through, smiling to yourself as you realized you were completely wrong. He put the things down on the table by your door as you locked it and when you turned back your arms wrapped around his neck, as you kissed.
His hands came down to your waist and he was slightly surprised at your sudden action, but melted into the kiss. “Missed me?”
“A little” you confessed, pulling away from him and walking to your bedroom.
You heard him follow right behind you, reaching for your hand when you walked in. Your lips met again but this time his hands guide your legs and guide them to wrap around his hips as he walks to the bed. He placed you where he wanted, right in the middle with your back against the pillows, your legs naturally spreading for him to settle between. He knelt up for a second, grabbing the stuffed animals around you and throwing them on the floor. You rolled your eyes.
“You know I don’t like them here”
He smiled and bent down to kiss you. His hands sneaked up your hips to your waist, under your shirt. Yours ran around his neck, nails against the sensitive skin, knowing it would turn him on. His lips lowered to your jaw, making you let out a sigh, relaxing all your muscles after being tense in a desk all day. He let his hips meet yours, grinding slightly against yours as his mouth started working on your neck, sucking and kissing all the spots he knew. His hands then lowered to the band of your shorts and tugged them down till he had to pull away from you to slip them off your legs.
“You look good in my clothes, should leave them around here more often” he smiled, making you blush as he positioned himself between your legs, laying on your bed.
Your hand reached out to caress his cheek, he smiled against the skin of your thigh before kissing it. He started leaving open mouthed kisses all over, your thighs, your lower stomach and over your panties, making you shiver when you felt his lips brushing against your cunt, only your thin underwear separating you. But not for long, once he felt like he had teased you enough his fingers hooked on the sides of your panties and slowly dragged them down, then he was facing your bare cunt, wet and ready for him.
Franco licked his lips at the sight before sticking his tongue out to spread your lips apart. He moaned when your taste hit his tongue, he had missed it. Once he started he was unstoppable, licking into you till his tongue and lips were covered in your wetness. Your hands dropped to grab his head when he took your clit into his mouth. His fingers joined the combo, slowly making their way inside you before gently curling up, he was making a mess out of you. Moans started leaving your mouth as he worked on you. His free hand made its way inside your shirt, reaching up to palm your tit. Your back arched onto his touch immediately, making your hips shift slightly and his fingers reach the perfect spot inside you.
“Fran” you whined, grasping his hair harder.
He just fucked his fingers harder into you, making you see stars and clench around them, By that point he knew you were close, just a couple more thrusts right to your gspot and you’d be gone. You felt your walls tightening as he started sucking harder on your clit, your muscles tensing and your legs trying to close around his head till he pushed you over the edge, making you cum around his fingers. Franco kept working you through your orgasm, his movements slowing till they came to a stop. You were biting a smile back as he kissed your thighs and your stomach, making his way up your body.
Your lips met again in an intense kiss, as you reached down to unbutton his jeans. He chuckled against your lips at your desperateness but helped you kick them off and knelt up for a second just to pull off his shirt. When he bent over your body again you flipped over him, straddling his legs as he looked up at you, surprised. You took his lips back to yours, kissing down his face to his neck as your hand reached down to rub his cock through his underwear. As small as the touch was it made him sigh, almost moan.
“Guess you missed me too” you teased before pulling him out of his underwear.
It was only a few pumps of your hand before raspy and shaky moans were making their way past his lips, “please” he whined.
You took a condom from your nightstand, making quick work of getting it on him. His lips were parted and his brows were just as expressive as always, furrowed together as you guided his cock between your lips, sliding yourself back and forth onto him just to tease. A struggling moan left his lips as his hands dropped to your hips, lifting you up so you could guide him inside. You lost all composure when he slipped into you, it felt like those couple of days without him had been so much more and like he was fucking you for the first time again.
His hands started guiding your hips slowly, letting you both get used to the feeling as you pulled him into another kiss. Your hands rested on his chest as you started moving faster, your hips now moving in circles, making your clit rub against his skin. He could feel your thighs flexing under his hands as you moved but what he couldn’t take his eyes off of was your face when you pulled away. Your bottom lip was trapped between your teeth, soft moans still escaping your throat, your eyes were screwed shut and your brows furrowed as you concentrated on making yourself feel good.
All it took for your high to wash over you was the gentle touch of his fingers to your clit and you were coming for him, clenching around his cock as your hips stilled on top of his. He waited a second before guiding you to move again. You knew he was close too, his body was giving you all the signs and his face was twisted in pleasure, just a little more and he would be there. You reached out for his face, making his eyes open after you kissed. Franco stared into your eyes for a second, eyes open as he came. He kissed your thumb that brushed his lip and spoke in a soft whisper “I’m in love with you”
You smiled, bending over to kiss him “I figured,” you said with a chuckle. He let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding and pulled you down to kiss him, both breaking into smiles as your lips met, “and I’m in love with you too”
He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you impossibly closer till you were rolling on your sides, still connected and kissing. Franco only pulled out when you groaned into his mouth but he couldn’t bring himself to unwrap his arms around you.
“I bought ice cream, you know” he whispered after a while “do you think it’s melted yet?”
“I think you should go find out” you whispered back “you were the one that said I needed a reward for studying so hard.” he scoffed and nodded on your shoulder but when he tried to pull away you held him back “No, stay. I don’t mind melted ice cream, I actually like it better.”

Summary: Eddie notices Jason behavior towards you and decides to do something about it
Recap: You go to hellfire to apologize to Eddie for missing class. As you go to leave, your met with a not so pleased boyfriend.
——————————————————————————
You stop in your tracks, how did he know where to find you? Your hands start to clam up as you sweat with nerves. You debate turning around and going back into the club, but you know that would just piss him off more. He looks at you silently waiting for you to approach him where he stands, so you do.
When you reach the front doors and Jason, all you can do is look at the floor, like your some child in trouble, waiting for your punishment. All though you didn’t do anything guilty, you starting to regret it. I should’ve just listened to Jason you think because now he’s pissed.
Silence, crickets, that’s all you hear, so you look up to him and he’s already looking at you. You realized you never seen him this angry. You thought you did when he first caught you, but damn were you wrong. He doesn’t speak, instead opting to just stare you down. After a few minutes pass he grabs your hand and leads you outside to where his car is parked. Without saying a word he opens the door for you and you get in. I guess he calmed down you thought.
The drive back to your place was quiet, no music playing on the radio, no comment on what happened, just silence. When you arrived to your house Jason stopped the car and turned to you.
“Babe, don’t forget that there’s a party tomorrow at Tina’s, I’ll be over to pick you up at 8” he looks at you. You look back in shock was he really letting this slide, “o-ok” you stutter out. He gives you a small smile in return and leans in to kiss you on the lips, which you reciprocate. You open the car door and walk up the front steps. You get inside and he drives away.
Tomorrow rolls around and your still not over how weird Jason was acting. He looked pissed but didn’t say anything and then totally didn’t mention it, but instead the party. You brush it off and get ready, Jason would be there at 8 to pick you up.
_____________________________________________
Jason comes by at 8 and greets you like normal. You guys arrive to the party and everything seems fine. He hasn’t left your side since you got there, you guys are attached at the hip. You forget about what happen yesterday as you party with your friends and have some of the jungle juice. After having that many glasses you go upstairs to pee.
“Jason, I’ll be back I need to go to the bathroom” he smiles at you and nods, while letting go of your waist. You go upstairs to the bathroom. You finish and freshen up your makeup. You open the door to be met with no other than Eddie Munson. You gasp, he just looks at you. What was he doing here you thought, this wasn’t his crowd.
“Sorry sweetheart, didn’t mean to scare you” he grins at you, “I was just looking for Chance, he wanted some” he shows you his lunch box that he carries weed in. “It’s ok I think Chance is in one of the bedrooms with Chrissy, so you’ll probably have to wait” you explain to him and he just laughs saying “alright”.
You turn you head and see Jason heading up the stairs, probably looking for you. Your eyes widen and you start to grow frantic. Eddie notices this, “Hey you ok” his eyes look worried for you. You don’t reply, instead grabbing his arm and pulling him into the bathroom while locking the door. He drops his lunch box and you tell him to be quiet.
Jason knocks on the door, “Hey baby you alright, you’ve been in there for awhile” he tries the knob. “Yeah I’m fine Jason, just freshening up, I’ll be out in a minute” he mutters something and you hear him walk away, you let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding.
You turn around and see Eddie looking at you, waiting for you to explain. “I’m sorry I pulled you in here, it’s just Jason doesn’t like you that much” you explain, “If he saw us talking or that you were anywhere near me, I don’t know what he would do” he looks at you, “Y/n” you didn’t realize it, but you started to cry, “Y/n hey it’s ok, he’s not gonna know… he didn’t even see or hear me” he pulls you into a hug and your thankful for him.
After he calms you down you’d agreed to go out first then he would go. You open the door and peep outside, Jason is staring at you from the other corner of the room, why was he still watching. You silently tell Eddie to wait about 2 minutes before leaving and he nods giving you a small smile. You walk out and over to Jason.
“Hey what took so long” he slings his arm around you. “I didn’t like the way my makeup looked so I had to keep redoing it” you lied. “I think it looks perfect” he smiles at you and kisses the top of your head. Jason starts to redirect his attention towards the bathroom and you panic. Eddie hasn’t come out yet if Jason saw him come out that could only mean he was in there with you. You grip onto his shirt and turn his head to you, kissing him. He sighs deeply into the kiss and you pray Eddie will hurry. Just as you back away, Eddie comes out. He looks at you and gives you a thumbs up, you didn’t mean to smile but you did and it directed Jason’s attention to the culprit. Fuck.
Eddie smile falters as he looks at Jason and so does yours. You turn to Jason but he’s already heading up the stairs. You run after him. By the time you get up, Jason’s already gripping Eddie’s shirt in his fist.
“Jason stop!” you tell him, but he’s already punching him. Eddie fights back and knocks Jason into the room behind him. You look up and see Chance and Chrissy looking confused as hell. Jason gets back up and heads for Eddie. “STOP PLEASE!” you scream. You put a hand on Jason’s chest. He looks down at you. “You’re a fucking slut Y/n” he spits at you. “You think I don’t know what you were doing in that bathroom, why the fuck was that freak in there with you, for that fucking long” you stare at him as he grips your arm, anger seeping from his eyes. “HUH BITCH ANSWER ME!” he yells at you and pushes you to the floor. You sit there in shock, he said he didn’t want you to get hurt, but he’s the one that's hurting you. “IM FUCKING TALKING TO YOU!” he pulls you up and you stare at him. “WOAH hey let go of her” Eddie speaks up rising his voice slightly. “DONT FUCKING TALKING TO ME FREAK!” Jason continues to look at you waiting for an answer. “Eddie was just selling drugs and I knew Chance was with Chrissy so I told him I would give it to him, so that he didn’t have to stick around and wait” you lie. Jason looks at you wondering if what you say is true but then he speaks, “It doesn’t take that long, you were in there for more than 40 minutes” you can’t comprehend what happens next, but Jason hits you and you fall to the floor, you look up in shock. “Fucking slut” he walks away from you and out the room. Eddie helps you off the floor debating if he should go and give Jason a piece of his mind, but he doesn’t for your sake. “H-he j-just h-h-hi-t-” Eddie just holds you, whispering sweet nothings in your ear trying to get you to calm down.
Eddie takes you back to his place, since you told him you didn’t wanna go home, knowing Jason would probably show up there. He says you can have the bed and he’ll take the couch, but you don’t wanna be alone right now, so he gets in bed with you and wraps his arm around you. You thank Eddie for everything. You feel safe in his arms. You think back to how Jason said he didn’t want you to get hurt but he was the one to hurt you, he was the one that was dangerous. Was he speaking about himself when he told you that night? You’d think about it in the morning, but one thing is for sure, you are never ever getting back together.
I swear there will be smut in the next part girlies!!!!!
Note: I don't know how many parts of this I will do, but I have at least 5 in mind, since these are pretty short and I want to include SMUT and a good place to end....Thank you for reading!

Deleted scene from 'Rules For (fake) Dating an Italian' to keep you busy while AO3 is down:
(Sydney & Carmy babysit for Richie, set in between chapters four & five — I wrote it & then decided to scrap it, I don't even know why lol it just wasn't working. & I didn't edit it, so it might have mistakes. But anyway, you guys can have it as a treat.)
Richie runs out the front door, pulling his jacket on.
“Carmen,” he says, walking up to Carmy and, much to Sydney’s surprise, taking Carmy’s face in both hands and pressing a firm kiss to the top of Carmy’s head. “Thank you so much. I owe you, brother.”
“It’s fine,” Carmy mutters.
“Sydney,” Richie says, pulling away from Carmy to look at her.
“I don’t need a kiss,” Sydney says quickly, “just a verbal thank you is more than enough.”
“Wasn’t planning on it,” Richie says. “Carmy explained the situation, right?”
“I told her what you told me,” Carmy says.
“Because I never miss a weekend with her,” Richie says, “I mean, I have literally never missed a single minute of a weekend with her before, but if I don’t go to the DMV today, it’s like six months till I can get another appointment, and I really need to get my license renewed.”
“It’s fine,” Sydney says, not dwelling too much on the thought of how much Richie has been driving her around with an expired license so far. “We’re happy to look after her.”
“I’ll be back in two hours,” Richie says. “She has her iPod, and all her Barbies. There are Uncrustables in the fridge, or you can cook with whatever’s in there, and she likes watching Unicorn Academy, she can put it on herself.”
“We’ll be fine, cousin. Don’t be late to your appointment,” Carmy says, with a somber expression that looks less like someone taking on babysitting duties, and more like a soldier awaiting command.
Carmy called Syd that morning, saying Richie was freaking out about needing a babysitter. Granted, Carmy was also freaking out about being a babysitter.
"Nat’s busy, Tina’s busy, everyone’s fucking busy, can you please come with me? I’m not good with kids."
Sydney isn’t particularly good with kids either, but she didn’t tell him that.
She would’ve taken any excuse to see Carmy. Because she’s a masochist. And because the fact that he asked her to come not because it would help trick Richie, but because he wanted her help, made her feel kind of hot in the face.
When he picked her up, she slid into his passenger’s seat with an almost-practiced ease, and he just sat there looking at her for a minute.
“Your hair,” he said.
“Oh,” she said, touching the end of one freshly-done braid, “yeah, microbraids, like I told you.”
“They look nice,” he said, and she blushed, despite the stiffness of the complement.
He always seems to rehearse his words to her in his head before he says them; they come out practiced and overly formal, and it frustrates her, how measured they seem, though it shouldn’t.
She’s pretty sure that’s just Carmy’s way. He’s careful with everything, not just compliments. She’s learning that about him.
She’s been learning other things about him, too.
Like the fact that he seems to go quiet in crowds, and gravitate toward walls. He flinches if anybody moves toward him too suddenly. Sometimes, not often, but enough to notice, he stutters when he speaks.
She wants to know everything about him. She wishes his life story was a book she could read, so she could just catch up to where he is now, and understand everything about him. She wants to know the right things to say, to do, how to put him at ease. She wants to know what he’s thinking when he looks at her.
Now, she watches Carmy walk into Richie’s house, stooping to pet Zanzibar as the puppy runs excitedly up to them, letting out high-pitched barks and tapping his little claws against the tiles of Richie’s entrance foyer.
In the doorframe of the kitchen across from them, a tiny girl with blonde hair and Richie’s facial features peeks out at them.
“Hi,” Sydney says, giving her a little wave.
“Uncle Carmy?” the girl asks.
Carmy looks up at her, unmistakable anxiety crossing his face.
“Uh, hi,” he says. “Richie’ll be back soon, don’t worry.”
“She doesn’t call her dad Richie, does she?” Sydney whispers.
“She knows who I mean,” Carmy whispers back.
Eva looks between the two of them.
“Dad said you would make me lunch,” she says.
Sydney smiles. “We will,” she says, looking at Carmy expectantly.
He nods seriously, walking ahead into the kitchen and beginning to look through Richie’s cabinets. Sydney follows Eva into the room, watching the little girl take a seat at one of the kitchen chairs, pulling her knees up into her chest and looking at Sydney with huge eyes she hasn’t totally grown into yet.
“Are you Uncle Carmy’s girlfriend?” she asks.
“Yeah,” Sydney says, glancing over at Carm.
He’s holding a box of Mac & Cheese, and holds it up for Eva to see, raising an eyebrow.
“This good?” he asks.
“That’s good,” Eva says, crossing her arms and deepening her voice slightly to mock Carmy as she says it. He cracks a smile, filling a pot with water and setting it on the stove.
Michelin starred chef cooking boxed Mac & Cheese in a tee shirt three feet away from Sydney. Her life is a joke.
“Why are you his girlfriend?” Eva asks.
Sydney laughs softly, considering this.
“Well, uh,” she says, with a little shake of her head. Carmy has his back to her, facing the stove, but he’s standing still, like he’s listening. “He’s great at cooking,” Sydney says. “And I really like spending time with him. He’s good company.”
“My dad said Carmy’s never looked this happy before,” Eva says.
Carmy clears his throat. “I am happy,” he says, though there’s an ironic flatness to it.
“Because of her?” Eva asks.
Sydney bites the inside of her cheek.
But Carmy turns around and looks at Sydney, brow furrowing slightly, eyes soft.
“Yeah. Because of her,” he says.
He says it like it’s true.
Michelin star mac and cheese is about as good as it sounds. Carmy is leaning against Richie’s counter, watching Sydney and Eva eat. Eva’s iPod is set on the table in front of her, playing some Taylor Swift deepcut that Sydney doesn’t recognize. As Sydney swallows her third or fourth spoonful of food, she stands up, turning to Carmy. The heat of the stove has put a slight flush in the tops of his cheeks, and there’s a towel slung over one of his shoulders.
“You’re not eating?” she asks him.
The question seems to take him off guard. His eyes flicker to the pot of food, then back to her.
“No, I made it for you two,” he says.
“There’s plenty, Carm,” Sydney says, grabbing a bowl from Richie’s cabinet and filling it for him from the pot still warming on the stove. When she hands it to him, he just looks at it for a second, before taking a small spoonful and putting it in his mouth, chewing like it’s his first time eating a meal.
“It’s good, isn’t it?” Sydney asks him, picking her own bowl back up.
“It’s alright,” he says, taking another, bigger spoonful. He does that sometimes; it’s one of the things she’s noticed. He eats like he’s starving, or he doesn’t eat at all. It gives her this weird urge to take care of him. To text him in the mornings, and at night, and ask him if he ate that day. To show up at his apartment unannounced with bags of groceries and make him sit down for twenty minutes while she meal preps for him.
“It’s good, Carm, it’s better than alright,” she says again, tone light, even though she’s willing him to believe her as hard as she can. Trying to get him to take a compliment is like trying to throw a ball through a brick wall.
He averts his eyes, nodding again. “A little flat, but I guess that’s what you get with boxed mix,” he says, pushing the noodles around with his spoon.
“Ever make it from scratch?” Sydney asks. “Or is that too pedestrian for a fancy New York Chef?”
“I'm gonna pretend I know what pedestrian means in that context,” he says, meeting her eyes with an amused smile. “I made it from scratch one Thanksgiving, years ago. Had no idea what I was doing. My mother passed out at like 3:00pm, and we were all scrambling in the kitchen trying to get dinner together for her so she’d, you know, see it and be happy with us when she woke up. But Sugar burned the turkey, so Mikey had to spend hours trying to calm her down; she got these crazy panic attacks when she made mistakes. And I made mac and cheese.”
“How old were you?” Sydney asks.
He seems surprised at the question, and shrugs. “Twelve, I think? Mikey would’ve been seventeen, Sugar would’ve just turned fourteen.”
“You’re the youngest?”
He nods.
“That figures,” Sydney says.
He scoffs. “Why does that figure?”
“I don’t know, just does.”
His bowl is almost empty. Wordlessly, she takes it from his hands, refilling it.
“So, did your mom like the mac and cheese?” she asks.
Something in his face darkens. He gives a quick shake of his head.
“No, she couldn’t get past Nat burning the turkey. We just, uh, took all the food into Mikey’s room and watched The Peanuts until she stopped yelling and fell asleep.”
“Uncle Carmy,” Eva interrupts, getting up from her chair and walking over to where Carmy is standing, looking up at him expectantly.“Daddy said you would play Barbies with me.”
“I will play Barbies with you,” Carmy says, and then, looking over at Sydney: “Syd, would you like to play Barbies?”
There’s a fond, almost relieved smile on his face, like another minute of talking about his family might’ve pushed him off some cliff’s edge that he wasn’t prepared to crawl back over.
“Obviously I want to play Barbies,” Sydney says, letting Eva lead them into the other room.
"You're such a liar," Sydney murmurs, as they walk behind Eva.
"I am?" Carmy asks lightly.
"Yeah," Sydney says, "you told me you weren't good with kids."
He smiles, shaking his head ruefully.
"I'm not," he says.
Sydney rolls her eyes.
And they play Barbies, for an hour. Carmy kneeling on carpet, listening attentively as Eva explains which Barbie is which (she has a Taylor Swift box set, it seems, and a Barbie dream home that looks like it cost more than Sydney’s last paycheck). Sydney sits cross legged across from them, watching Carmy delicately hold a Barbie doll in one tattooed hand as Eva brushes out its hair.
Watching him be a good uncle shouldn't be as fucking attractive as it is. It shouldn't be conjuring up vivid images of Carmy holding sleeping babies and cooking family dinners.
God, Sydney is so fucked.
“Speak Now Taylor Barbie is marrying Jacob from Twilight Barbie,” Eva says. “‘Cept I forgot Jacob at Mommy’s house.”
“I see,” Carmy says. Sydney bites back a smile.
“Are you ever gonna get married?” Eva asks, looking up at Carmy.
Sydney’s smile quickly fades.
Carmy’s eyebrows shoot up.
“Me?” he says.
“You and Sydney,” Eva says, looking over at Sydney expectantly.
“Uh, maybe,” Carmy says. He’s looking at Sydney too; an expression she can’t read. “I don’t know. Depends on… lots of things.”
“Like what?” Eva asks.
Carmy clears his throat. “Like… whether Sydney puts up with me for long enough for me to ask her?”
“Oh, shut up,” Sydney says, smiling exasperatedly, shaking her head at him. “He’s kidding, Eva.”
“So you are getting married?”
“No,” Sydney says, “no, not right now.”
“When?”
She looks at them with expectant, innocent eyes. Sydney can’t help but laugh.
“Not for a long time,” Carmy says.
"How long?"
Carmy looks away from Sydney, shaking his head like he doesn't know how to answer.
"I don't know," Sydney says, drawing Eva's attention over to her. "Whenever we decide we want to."
"Don't you want to marry him now?" Eva asks sincerely.
Sydney laughs uncomfortably. When she looks over at Carmy, he's looked back up at her. His brow is furrowed slightly. He should be smiling and laughing. This is funny. Objectively. He's taking it way too seriously.
"Yeah," Sydney says, staring at Carmy, raising a taunting eyebrow at him. "Sure I do. But marriage is really complicated so I think we're probably going to wait and see. Right, Carm?"
"Right," Carmy says, with a stiffness to the word like he's in pain. "Yeah, let's not talk about getting married anymore."
Eva frowns.
"It makes him nervous," Sydney stage-whispers to her.
Eva cheers up at that, smiling and nodding knowingly.
"People get nervous when they love each other," Eva says. "Mommy told me."
Sydney scoffs softly, but when she looks at Carmy he isn't smiling. He's just staring back at her, doing that weird, hyper-focused thing where he gets, like, fixated on her face.
It makes her face feel hot.
It makes her nervous.
Fuck.

Season 2 Halloween AU Part Four
Part One, Part Two, Part Three
A very big thank you to @strangersteddierthings for chatting with me today and being such a great sounding board for the next update!
Synopsis: What if Eddie had been at Tina's Halloween Party in Season Two? Featuring Steve!Whump, Stancy Breakup, and Eddie just trying to keep up with all these new revelations about who King-Steve actually is...
***
"So…I have to ask," Eddie blurts out, cutting through the awkward silence that has fallen between them, "how were you gonna pick up your car before you ran into me?"
"I don't think it counts as running into you, if you were waiting for me Munson," Steve side steps the question expertly, flashing him a strange smirk that seems out of place. It falls after a second and twists into something pained.
"I was hoping Nance would take me," Steve says eventually, his voice soft, "which was pretty stupid in hindsight, 'specially cuz she was counting on me to drive her this morning, which--"
Steve cuts himself, snapping his mouth shut with a harsh click of teeth, he shakes his head and lifts his hand to run roughly through his hair.
"Doesn't matter anymore".
Eddie holds his breath, feeling the conversation begin to shift. It's as though he's stepped onto a tightrope and any wrong move could potentially send him over the edge.
He settles for nodding once, turning the key in the ignition.
Steve sighs and lets himself fall back into his seat, "I know you know already, the whole fucking school does, Billy saw to that," Steve gestures to his face, "say what you really want to ask".
Eddie's fingers tighten around the wheel as he turns them out of the parking lot, fighting the immediate urge to say, 'why did Miss Priss throw it all away?'
"You think I believe the rumours that come out of that shithole?" Eddie lies, keeping his eyes on the road this time.
He can feel Steve's unimpressed stare as they continue down mainstreet.
"Right, so you had no clue I was in detention?"
Eddie chews the inside of his cheek to fight the sly grin that begins to creep over his face, "Alright smart ass".
He hazards another glance at Steve as they begin to hit the residential area, he looks so different from the night before.
His limbs are loose, tension free, if it weren't for the heavy bags under Steve's eyes and the nervous tap of his fingers on the passenger door, Eddie would think he was finally relaxed.
"I knew a fight definitely happened, it's Hargrove," Eddie says slowly, carefully weighing his words, "but I typically prefer to hear the whole sordid story from the source before I pass any judgements, ya know?"
Steve doesn't say anything as they continue driving through residential the houses getting progressively bigger as they go.
"Did you," Steve pauses and breathes out slowly before shaking his head and lifting his face to meet Eddie's gaze, "is that offer for something stronger still open?"
Eddie smiles, "I think that can be arranged".
***
Eddie pulls over beside Tina Cline's house, wincing as the right front tire rolls over the curb and bounces the van as it lands on the street once more, startling a snort out of Steve.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up Harrington," Eddie huffs as Steve shoots him a grin.
"Didn't say a word," Steve hums, unbuckling himself from the seat. Eddie watches as he opens the door and hops out. For a moment Eddie worries Steve will pull the same disappearing act from last night but he simply stops beside his car door and motions for Eddie to roll down his window.
Eddie cracks his door open instead, "window's broken, what?"
Steve rolls his eyes, "whatever Munson, you know the way? It's north on 5th and--"
"Then two more rights, yeah man," Eddie says with a laugh in his voice, "I dropped you off remember?"
"Fuck off," Steve huffs out, he's grinning though.
Steve swings the Beemer’s door open and slides in. He turns on the ignition and flinches at the loud burst of music from the stereo, the volume obviously set from the mood of the previous night.
'I want to know what love is, I want you to show me--'
Steve slams his hand against the console, cutting off the song with a harsh crack.
The van is parked just behind the Beemer so Eddie can't see Steve's face, but his head drops down onto the wheel for just the briefest moment before he slowly lifts it, turns on his signal and pulls away from the curb.
***
Steve beats him to the house.
He's getting out of the car, which is parked on the long driveway as Eddie pulls up to the street.
Eddie hops out of the van, hiking his backpack higher up on his shoulders, not bothering to lock it. Who would even want his shitty van among the BMWs and Mercedes parked down this street --hell, Eddie could have sworn he saw a Jag three houses down.
Eddie stops short of the lawn. The Harrington house is so different in the light of day, the strange emptiness that seemed to ooze out of the dark windows the night before has disappeared, leaving an ordinary house in its wake.
"Well?" Steve calls out as he pulls a pair of keys from his back pocket and spins them once on his finger, "you coming or what Munson?"
Eddie rolls his eyes and jogs to catch up to Steve who turns on his heel to stride up the walk. He stuffs the key into the deadbolt and swings one of the double doors inwards before shucking off his sneakers.
No shoes? Fucking rich people man.
Steve must notice Eddie's expression because he blushes and shrugs, "I know, I know, but my parents will be home for Thanksgiving this year so…may as well…"
He gestures around the sterile foyer with a tight smile, as though it explains everything.
If anything, Eddie has more questions.
Steve cuts off the thought by clearing his throat, "we should smoke outside, last thing I need is for you to burn a hole in the couch or something".
Eddie steps over the threshold and has to stop himself from whistling, were the ceilings always this high in this place?
He lifts his foot to unlace his left chuck, snorting at the strange little table in the middle of the foyer. A giant vase sits atop it filled with a mixture of what have to be silk flowers --no way they were real. He pulls the shoe off and tosses it to the side before lifting his right foot.
Eddie never had the greatest balance so he hops back and forth with his right foot in the air before hopping as close as he can to the wall of the foyer and leaning back against it.
He finally gets the knot in his laces undone and throws the sneaker to the floor, dropping his right foot to the hardwood.
Eddie looks up to find Steve staring with a bemused expression on his face, he ignores the wide hazel eyes and removes the backpack from his shoulders -which can't have been helping the balance issue.
Eddie unzips the top and yanks out the trusty metal lunchbox, sliding a wicked grin into place.
"You said something about outside?"
***
By the time they've settled, facing one another on a couple of pool loungers, the sun has begun to dip low, painting the patio and empty pool a warm glowing copper. It catches Steve's hair, which shines like gold in the dying sunlight, like some Autumnal Fae King--
Eddie wants to slap himself, suddenly thankful for the November wind that cuts through the backyard, forcing him to chillout.
He picks up the grinder from his lunchbox, unscrewing the cap to open it.
"You good with a joint this evening my good King?"
He pours a handful of a new strain Rick let him try the other day into the grinder and starts twisting. It's not something he would typically share with anyone other than Jeff, but Steve seemed like he could use something a little more special tonight.
Eddie looks up after a beat of silence, "yo, Major Tom, you with me?"
Steve's face is pinched, tilted towards the empty pool, "please don't call me that," he says quietly.
"Major Tom?"
Steve raises his eyes to meet Eddie's gaze, his mouth cuts a hard line across his face, the typical easy grin it usually houses is gone.
"King-Steve," he runs a hand through his hair, letting the fingers linger to grip and pull, "I just, that's not who I am anymore, I don't--"
Steve swallows harshly, "that's all anyone could talk about this morning".
He drops his voice and octave, "oh, King Steve is so pussy whipped he let his girl fuck Jonathan Byers before she dumped him".
"Is that what Hargrove said?" Eddie asks quietly as he pours out a portion of weed onto a paper.
Steve shakes his head, "that was Tommy, but that wasn't why I hit him".
Eddie nods, and lifts the joint to his mouth to run his tongue along the edge of the paper. Steve watches him from the lounger, his eyes follow the movement before he blinks and continues.
"Tommy and I had been best friends since we were five, he uh, he knows a lot about me," Steve lifts his hand to his mouth and chews the nail of his thumb briefly before dropping it back into his lap.
"Stuff I don't tell anyone, stuff he knows will hurt".
Eddie nods, twisting the joint closed, he can kind of understand that, although the only person in his life that knew him like that was Wayne.
And Wayne would never hurt him.
Did Steve really not have anyone else like that in his life, someone he could tell anything to that wouldn't look at him weird or judge him. Someone safe.
"Anyway, Hargrove started in on me after that, but he's been fucking with me for awhile so," Steve shrugs again, "he saw his big opportunity here".
"Hargrove's been messing with you?" Eddie asks sharply as he pours more weed onto another paper. He lifts it and runs his tongue along the edge of the paper before twisting it into shape. When he looks up, Steve's ears have gone slightly pink and he's sitting strangely, slightly hunched and twisted.
"Yeah," Steve says after a moment, he clears his throat and straightens his back, "yeah, it's just been at practice so far, and I thought it was just because he wanted to one up me for my spot but," he shakes his head, "it's getting worse".
"You know, I have a bit of a reputation around school," Eddie says slowly, carefully, watching as Steve freezes and looks at Eddie with wide eyes.
"The Hellfire club is more than just the game we're playing, it's also kind of a sanctuary for kids that don't have anyone to lean on, we look after each other," Eddie continues, ignoring the way Steve relaxes slightly, "you wouldn't need to play or anything but if you need somewhere to sit at lunch now…"
Steve looks at Eddie for a long time, his expression blank, guarded, "really? Just like that?"
"Yeah man, besides I get to use my 'Mean and Scary Guy' persona on these fuckers so it's a win-win for me".
Steve grins, raising one skeptical eyebrow, "mean and scary?"
Eddie bristles a little bit at the questioning tone in Steve's voice and can't quite swallow the urge to snarl, "yeah I mean you looked plenty scared of the town freak yesterday".
Steve winces and immediately starts to shake his head, inching forward in his seat so he's even closer to Eddie, their knees are almost touching.
"That's not, I wasn't," he stops and takes a deep breath, "I was upset about Nancy and it was so dark outside, the trees--"
"You afraid of the dark Harrington?" Eddie cuts him off, the lingering irritation still simmers in his voice as he coos.
Steve just looks at him, there's something strange about the haunted expression on his face that makes the hair on the back of Eddie's arms stand on end.
"Things happen in the dark, in the woods," Steve says softly, his eyes drift to the empty pool again.
Eddie opens his mouth to ask Steve what the hell he means by that, when a voice shouts across the yard.
"Steve? STEVE?!"
The sound of someone running through the grass has them both of their feet, the joints forgotten on the pool loungers.
"Dustin?"
A kid, he can't be more than twelve or thirteen, skids into the porchlight that has replaced the last copper rays of evening light, the sun fully set by now. The kid's blue eyes are wide underneath a mop of curly hair and hat, he's breathing hard.
"I need your help".

Sunshine and Soda Cans
Part 2 - Bubbles
"hey, spencer!" angela jogs up to spencer as you walk into the office. you wander to the kitchen to grab a soda, and put your stuff down.
"(y/n) said shes struggling with editing the new try not to laugh episode, and i don't think she's going to ask for help because she's too stubborn, so can you just check on her and give her a hand?". spencer looks over at you, and back to angela
"yeah sure! i'll catch up with her later" angela gives him a big grin, and then walks over to you, striking up a conversation.
later on, you're sat at your desk, editing away. you've been stuck re-trimming the same clip for like twenty minutes, and you're becoming increasingly frustrated.
"hey, (y/n)!"
his voice catches your attention, making you look up, but not away from the screen.
"hi spence, uh- what's up?" you say, eyes still glued to your screen.
"oh nothing, just checking how you're getting on with the try not to laugh edit. everything going good?"
"no actually' you, look up at him and you chuckle "ive, i've been trying to edit the same clip for like ever, and it won't save properly. im losing my mind!"
he smiles at you honesty, and pulls up a chair to help you out. after about an hour, you two get a bit bored and decide to go live on the games channel, streaming some sims
"alrighty then guys, hello! welcome to the games channel, today me and spencer are going to be playing some sims 4!" you smile into the camera, adjusting your hair, and you relax into your chair.
"guys, can we hate on (y/n) in chat for drowning my sims last time" spencer says sarcastically, glaring at you sassily.
"hey!" you elbow him, playfully "you made fun of my sims' fashion choices!"
he laughs at your anger, and you talk with the chat for a little while as the game loads
"okay, my plan is to make a love triangle in my mansion. i want to see if they can handle the drama.." you say, tapping your fingertips together
"woah, okay dr. evil!" he says, laughing with you
you guys start making some characters that, suspiciously, resemble each other. as you begin to play, your sims keep chatting to eachother
"hey, (y/n), why does your sim keep flirting with mine? got a crush or something?" spencer says with a smirk
"oh, please! my sim is just being friendly! unlike yours, who keeps stealing my sim's food!!! didn't realise your name was tina.." you giggle at your own joke, napoleon dynamite is one of the first things you two bonded over, so you both have a good laugh.
you guys play for about two hours, and then decide to wrap up, finishing the stream
before getting up to leave, you guys share a lingering gaze, and you see the colours in his eyes. you give him a ride back to his apartment, and you turn of your radiohead "in rainbows' cd. weird fishes/arpeggi comes on, as you pull up infront of his apartment. you look over at him with a sweet smile.
"well, see you tomorrow spence"
"yeah. looking forward to it"
you two lock eyes, and then he gently pulls you into a sweet kiss, his hand lingering on your jaw as you melt into his touch. he tastes like mt dew, and you smile against his lips. as you break away, you already miss his lips on yours.
"see ya, (y/n)" he says with a smile and a new twinkle in his eye, exiting the car and walking into his apartment block.
you sit in your car for at least another five minutes; eyes glassy, chest heavy, and palms sweating. you pick up your phone, and open up the phone app, ringing the only person you can think of to call.
"hey jelly, do we have any icecream? i need to tell you what's just happened"
you hear angela open the freezer over the phone, and she says
"yeah, we have some vanilla and i think there's some strawberries in the fridge. everything okay?"
"yeah," you breathing staggers, fully realising what just happened "me and spencer kissed"
"I'M SORRY WHAT"
you hang up, and start driving back to your apartment.

Simon Riley x reader
(Boyfriend!Simon)
cw: loser Simon is obsessed with you, oral (f receiving) (a lot), multiple orgams
word count: 2053
a/n: I am very sorry about skipping some days, but i'm already as late as it is with updating, and the prompts don't really align with my style T-T
It had been a petty fight, really, a stupid disagreement over an even more stupid thing, but the fact that it had happened right before Simon left for his mission had been even more painful. He didn’t apologise, didn’t hold you that night, making you feel so alone, and left in the early morning without a word. Simon wasn’t good with feelings and confrontation, and he had felt like a downright bastard to leave like that, and guilt had eaten at him during the whole mission.
The only thing that kept him alive was the ardent desire to come back home to you, apologise for his dumb, childish actions, to hold you, and tell you that he loved you, to ask for your forgiveness, and worship you like the goddess you were. He had always been a goner for you, his walls crumbling beneath a touch of your hand, a warm caress, able to melt the ice that encased his poor heart.
The moment he was back at base, he asked Kyle to drive him home, reluctantly accepting his unceasing teasing as he told him to stop by a flower shop, asking for a bouquet of wildflowers, so big he had to stack it in the backseat with his duffle bag. It would’ve been a thousand times worse if he had asked Johnny, and he probably would’ve strangled the cheeky git before he was able to get him home.
You’d had three whole weeks to ruminate over the fight, over-analysing every single word spoken, every little detail of his body language, paranoia setting its roots so deep within the darkest confines of your mind, you had simply convinced yourself he was going to break up with you when he would come back.
It did, in fact, come as a surprise when you opened the door and his whole face was hidden behind a gigantic bouquet of colourful wildflowers, his big brown eyes peeking above the petals, looking down at you like a kicked puppy. It was always endearing to see your 6’4” beast of a man boyfriend acting like a little kid around you.
“Simon-” you whispered, your lips parted in a small ‘o’ as he simply stood there, your heart feeling like it was going to burst at any moment. You gently accepted the flowers, seeing how his arms limply went to his sides, awkwardly lingering by the door. “Oh, I am so glad you’re okay.”
The relief of seeing him alive and well was greater than whatever petty grudge you held, the arm that wasn’t holding the flowers wrapping around his midriff, and you buried your face in his chest, inhaling the familiar, comforting scent. “y/n…” he murmured, his nose in your hair as his arms came to encircle your waist, holding you impossibly close to him. “I am so sorry, so, so fucking sorry. I was an idiot, i didn’t even say goodbye-”
“Shhh, shh, don’t.” You mumbled into his chest, shaking your head. You pulled away, your hand grabbing at the hem of his shirt, gently tugging at it as you led him inside the house. Your small apartment that overlooked the city, your little slice of heaven that held so many memories, some good some bad, but it was filled with love all the same. He gently waddled after you, closing the door behind himself and following you into the living room. You put the bouquet on the table, then beckoned Simon to sit on the couch.
He obeyed immediately, silently sitting down onto the plush cushion. You walked right in between his spread thighs, feeling his hands coming up the side of your thighs, settling on your hips. “I missed you,” he whispered, resting his chin against your stomach, looking up at you with his deep brown eyes. “I felt terrible this whole time, I just wanted to come home and…apologise to you properly.”
Your heart felt a hundred times lighter now, the weeks of paranoia slipping away as he looked genuinely sorry. You let your fingers run through the messy blonde locks. “You’re okay,” I said just as softly. “We were both idiots, I recognise that now. That fight shouldn’t have happened in the first place. So I should apologise, too.” Simon shook his head, burying his face into your stomach, a sound similar to a purr rumbling in his throat, reverberating against your tummy. “It was my fault, y/n. I left without even saying goodbye, you…you probably hated me for the past three weeks.” - Well, he wasn’t wrong. - “But I should’ve never given you a reason to doubt me, or to resent me. Please, y/n, let me make it up to you.”
He looked so eager, clinging onto you with that expectant look in his eyes, wanting nothing more than to be granted your forgiveness, the only thing that mattered to him. “Please.” He whispered again. “Please what?” You asked, gently tugging at his hair, forcing him to look up at you. “Let me touch you, baby. Please,” he pleaded, already sounding breathless. “You felt bad because of me, now I need to make you feel good, it’s…it’s the least I can do.” He started to trace a trail down your stomach with the tip of his nose, stopping just an inch shy of the waistband of your sweatpants, sighing against the fabric of your t-shirt. “Can I?”
When Simon acted desperate, it was the hottest thing ever, turning you on in a way nothing else could. It made you feel love, worshipped, because in his eyes, you were his one and only goddess. “Oh, Simon..” you cooed, and he looked up at you with a hopeful smile. “...you think you deserve it?”
He groaned, his hands balling up into fists around your pants, only bunching up the fabric. “B-Baby…fuck…” he breathed out, looking helpless. “Don’t do this to me, I need you. Need to feel you-” You moved his hand away when he started to let it creep under your t-shirt. “You look pathetic. You think I’ll just forgive you like that?” You asked, giving his hair a quick, sharp tug. He hissed, but the noise that left his chest sounded more like a moan. You had already forgiven him the moment he saw him carrying the flowers, but he loved being submissive for you as much as you loved holding this kind of control over him.
“y/n, I’m begging you, seriously, I-” He released a shaky breath, hands trembling as he kept himself from tearing the pants off you. “Please, I’ve missed you so fucking much. These weeks away from you were torture, please. I just…just a taste, I’m begging.” He could feel your arousal wafting up to his nose, and he inhaled deeply, relishing in your sweet scent. “Just a taste, I-I need you, I need you so fucking much.”
He was already painfully hard, his erection straining in his cargo pants, cock throbbing and oozing precum onto his boxer briefs. He could’ve come just by your rejection alone, getting so restless and overwhelmed he could’ve made a mess on his own, without you even touching him. And that, was just the hottest fucking thing ever. The way he would bend at your will, growing desperate for you, for just a crumb of your attention, for all he wanted was to make you feel good.
“Fine,” you eventually relented, feigning annoyance, when you were actually just as eager as he was. His eyes lit up, and he wasted no time, starting to pepper kisses over your stomach, his fingers already tugging at your pants, sliding them down, along with your damp panties. He growled at the sight of the wet spot on the fabric, his mouth starting to salivate upon seeing the slick that covered your folds, as if already tasting it. “Come here,” he whispered huskily, ignoring your perplexed expression as he took your hand and guided you to the other side of the couch. Only then you realised he was moving with you, coming to lay down over the cushions, a cheeky grin tugging at his lips. “Please, y/n,” he begged again. “I need to taste you.”
Sitting on his face always felt weird, the improbable thought of accidentally suffocating him always lurking in the back of your mind, arising some scepticism in you every time. But then you remembered he probably wouldn’t be asking if he wasn’t built like a fucking unit. Peeling your t-shirt off as well, Simon simply admired you in awe, your body the most ethereal and precious thing he had ever laid his eyes - and hands - on.
He patiently waited there, looking like a kid on Christmas morning the moment you put your legs on either side of his head, caging his face between your thighs. “Is this-” you couldn’t even get the words out that his hands were on your hips, bringing you down until you were fully sat on his face. A guttural groan reverberated right through you as his lips latched onto your weeping cunt. A flick of his tongue between your folds coaxed a loud moan, your back arching as your eyes rolled into your skull.
“S-Simon-” you whimpered, a hand curled around the backrest of the couch, the other tangled in his messy hair. He looked like he was having a bloody good time, feasting on you like a man starved. He hadn’t seen you or heard from you for three whole weeks, and this time away from you, knowing you were upset because of him, made him realise just how much he truly loved you.
“Mhm,” he hummed against you. “Let me make you feel good.” His nose pushed against your hooded clit, stealing a sweet moan from you, his hands caressing the plane of your stomach, your hips, the curve of your ass. “Fuck…that’s so…f-fuck, so good-”
His tongue teased your entrance, before insertion itself inside of you, a loud groan of pleasure filling the room as you came undone from that alone, the orgasm rippling throughout you with an unexpected force, your thighs violently shaking. You feared you could accidentally crush him, but you coming only seemed to spur him on, since he didn’t let go of you as his name fell from your lips in a string of breathless pleas, his relentless tongue lapping up at your arousal, letting the juices from your cunt coat his whole face.
“N-No…too much, Si…too much!” You cried out softly, trying to lift your hips away, but his strong hands kept you still, long fingers digging into the supple flesh of your thighs. “We’re done when I say I’m done, y/n.” He suddenly growled, the rumble in his throat sending waves of pleasure straight to your core. It was overwhelming, really, the overstimulation robbing you of the ability to string a sentence, or even forming a coherent thought, only moans and babbling noises escaping your mouth as you braced yourself to the backrest of the couch.
Heat pooled in your belly even faster this time, Simon’s tongue circling your clit, placing open mouthed kisses along your pretty pussy, drinking your juices like it was his last meal. Another orgasm hit, the second wave somehow more intense than the first, your entire body quaking as the raw pleasure coursed through you, screaming his name, tugging at his hair, tear-brimmed eyes squeezed shut. By the time you had rode out your high, you were having a hard time remembering your name, trying to bring your heartbeat back to a normal level, chest heaving, leg still shaky.
Simon was extra careful when he felt you almost giving out from above, manoeuvring you so he could slip from underneath you, chuckling softly as you curled up in a ball onto the cushion, your body twitching ever so often as it recovered. He simply looked at you for a while, chest swelling with pride, knowing he had made you feel this good.
Gently, he picked you up, your body pliable in his arms as he effortlessly carried you towards the bedroom, gently putting you down on the bed and tucking you in. You were almost letting the drowsiness take over. “Where are you going?” You mumbled groggily looking at him with half-lidded eyes. He simply smiled.
“Takin’ a shower, love,” he whispered, hovering over you to place a chaste kiss on your forehead. “Don’t fall asleep, I’m coming back to give you the rest when I’m done.”

fuckg fuck fuckg but “[bad]’s one of my favourite people, too. he gives me stuff” “is that all he is to you?” drives me insane because NO. HES NOT. he’s also a reflection of all the worst things tina doesnt want to be. a demon a monster. at home in purgatory. missing that home. he torments her for fun. he teases her and plays. he is probably like her, even more than mouse- fallen angels. made demonic. evil.
“Bad is one of my favourite people. He gives me stuff.” what sort of demon just gives things away. what sort of demon makes bad deals they know wont see full fruition. im obsessed with that, with her focusing in on one of his most helpful traits, and THAT one specifically. she sees the parts of herself that she hates in him. he loves her. he’s a resource for her. she loves him. he reflects the worst parts of herself. look at where she draws the line, where she compartmentalizes. they are the same and he’s her favourite despite that. because he gives her stuff.
#RRRUAGAHAG#no idea if ik coherent once again so just Think About Them !!#qsmp tinakitten#qsmp badboyhalo#WAISLS#the fucking. Objectification of qbad as a Resource#because resources can be loved and demons cant be#or they shoudltn be#because theyre evil

let me preface this by saying i will love and adore and cherish s3 no matter happens. however, i will say — the one thing i want to see is carmy going out of his way to get back on sydney’s good side.
i’m talking begging for forgiveness, grovelling at her feet, bending over backwards for her.
imagine:
carmy gets out of that walk-in, sees the queasy look on her face, and is already drafting that notes app apology in his head. he tells her he’s sorry and that he fucked up and she tells him they managed to pull everything off without him but she cannot with his bullshit right now.
that hits him like a punch to the gut and, well, he gets it cause it’s definitely deserved.
but as the weeks go on, carmy tries to talk to her she only responds in shrugs, nods, and yes chefs. sydney goes home straight after service, after she helps with clean up, does not linger and talk in the office with him like they did before. carmy tries joking with her and she rolls her eyes more often than not. he asks her if she wants to work on the menu with him and she says no and he gets the feeling that she doesn’t even want to be alone with him anymore.
and that’s when he realizes — fuck. she’s so mad at him.
my girl is mad at me i want to die.
so? what else is carmy supposed to do but the most?
sydney comes in one morning and tells tina she was running late so she couldn’t stop by her favourite spot to get her morning latte. carmy overhears this and takes it upon himself to run to that spot, ten blocks over, to get her that latte. and when he gets back, sweetly and breathless, he gives it to her only to find out it’s the completely wrong order. but syd smiles, just a little, says a small thanks.
during family, he casually hints at the fact that he’s seeing a therapist now — says sorry chef i have therapy saturday afternoon when marcus asks if anyone would be down to go to the farmers market with him. because he needs her to know that he’s trying to get better. for himself, yes, but also for her.
his notifications are on and his phone is never on silent anymore — carmy vows to never miss a text or a call from her ever again.
carmy starts checking in with her about everything. when the walls need to be painted again he tells her, asks sydney if she’s okay with changing the floral arrangements but the bar, lets her know he’s ordering new aprons for the line cooks, runs tweets by her before posting them to the bear’s twitter account. and it gets to the point where syd has to tell him to chill — that she appreciates him not wanting to keep her in the dark, but some things just don’t need her approval. pats him on the shoulder and tells him it’s his restaurant, too.
it might come off as a bit showy but he tells her great work today, chef sydney after every service — because she is doing great work.
when sydney’s finally moving out of her dad’s place carmy is there, bright and early, moving her boxes into his car, trying to avoid the subtle stink eye her dad is giving him. again, deserved. he drives her out to her new place, helps her set everything up and lingers when she asks him if he wants coffee.
carmy shows up for her, everytime. he sets his own priorities aside, swaps them out for hers. sydney says jump and he asks how high?
it all comes to head on her birthday. before service he goes up to her and gives her a present — a scarf, fabric pink and decorated with prints of various different flowers. it’s soft and silky and he saw it on a mannequin in a window front while he was downtown a couple of weeks ago, immediately thought of her. she tells him it’s lovely and beautiful and she’ll wear it all the time but that he really didn’t have to — that he doesn’t have to keep trying to win her over, that she isn’t mad at him anymore, that she hasn’t been mad for a few weeks now, that she can see he’s trying.
then, sydney hugs him, strong and gentle at the same time, tells him — i see you, carmy.
whatever is supposed to happen after that does not happen because fak starts yelling about an exploding toilet from the room over so sydney scoffs and says she’ll go take care of it.
and it’s at that exact moment that carmy becomes aware of what he hasn’t been aware of but that has been there, right in front of him this whole time.
holy shit.
he likes sydney.
he likes her a lot.
#ahhhhhhh so excited for s3#my girl is mad at me i hope i die!!!!#sydcarmy#sydney adamu#the bear#carmy berzatto

On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink
Description: Reneè is off filming Mean Girls and misses her gf. The cast gets together for the cutest surprise.
WARNINGS: tooth-rotting fluff, reneè being babygirl
y/n was currently being snuck onto the Mean Girls set by her friend chris. he had arranged y/n to come and see her girlfriend reneè. the blonde had been feeling a little in the dumps lately because of the distance and the cast was beginning to notice.
y/n wasn't able to come at first because of work, but luckily for her, her boss was her best friend and when he noticed how sad she was, he sent her off, telling her to take her time coming back. and with that, she was on the first flight to new jersey.
chris picked her up from the airport, already clearing it with tina and the producers. as they drove back to the set, chris told her the plan.
she was going to get dressed as an extra and get put in the revenge party scene. then when it was time for cady and aaron to kiss, it would be reneè and y/n. y/n giggled at the idea, ready to execute it.
after arriving back to set and being introduced to everyone, y/n was quickly put into hair and makeup. after a quick session there, she was rushed to costuming, getting put in a brightly colored outfit. she was snuck back onto set, hiding off to the side. chris let tina know y/n was ready as the woman gave him a subtle thumbs up.
the number went smoothly and reneè got moved into position. the blonde looked confused, as she looked at angourie and chris, who just smiled back at her. she turned and gasped, seeing y/n stand there with a goofy smile on her face.
reneè rushed forward, wrapping her arms around y/n's neck and kissing her deeply. the cast cheered as the two embraced, tina yelling cut. reneè pulled away smiling at her girlfriend.
"what? how are you here?" y/n smirked and looked towards the cast. "some birdies told me you've been sad, so i got on a plane and flew here to make you smile again." reneè melted. the blonde buried her head in y/n's neck, mumbling a thank you. y/n kissed reneè's temple. "you're welcome baby. now how about we get out of here?"
after getting the okay from everyone, reneè and y/n got out of their outfits and headed to reneè's car, y/n opening the door for her passenger princess of course. reneè took a picture of y/n driving and posted it on her instagram story with a heart emoji. y/n drove reneè back to the house she was staying in, the two venturing in and crashing on the couch.
reneè sighed contently as she laid her head on y/n's chest. y/n began running her fingers through reneè's hair. "what do you want for dinner nae?" reneè sighed. "i'm feeling pizza." y/n nodded, gently laying reneè down to grab her phone to order their food. after about 25 minutes, the food arrived. reneè grabbed the pizza as y/n went to grab them dinks. she came back with two glasses of champagne that reneè had in the fridge as the blonde smiled at her.
reneè decided to take a picture of the moment, posting it on instagram.
reneerapp: the love of my life surprised me on set. life is good.

Prove Me Wrong
Chapter 18: Happy New Year, Billy
If you need to catch up here's the masterlist
Summary: Jess cleans up Billy after the fight Word Count: 2.3k Warnings: Mentions of blood, bruising, fighting, etc. That's really it since it's a shorter one. As always if I missed anything let me know. an: Sorry for being gone so long! I've been busy with school and also starting a business with a friend! Things are going great now though, the storm has passed and now I have LOTS of free time.
They arrived at Benny’s quickly, too quickly for Billy’s liking, who made sure to keep his left hand somewhere on Jess’s lap, occasionally tracing small circles on her covered skin with his thumb, his right hand secured on her hip, ensuring she had enough support to sit comfortably. Patrick opened the passenger door as soon as Steve parked the vehicle, seemingly eager to get in and attempt to fix up his face, hoping out loud that some of their classmates who decided to come here instead of Tina’s brought ice that he could place on his bruised eye. Patrick struggled with the front seat at first, Billy not too eager to help him. When he finally got it to fold forward, he outstretched his hand for Jess to take, helping her out of the car. When he looked down, he noticed he had grabbed her bruised wrist and quickly released it, looking past her and at Billy.
“It doesn’t even hurt anymore,” she reassured him.
“If I find some ice in there, I’ll grab ya some,” Patrick offered, turning away from her to head inside.
Jess looked around the cracked parking lot, surprised to see maybe a dozen cars parked outside, wondering who was all there. She was even more surprised when she watched another car pull up beside Billy’s, two boys she recognized from the football team leaving it. As the two passed their group, one turned to Billy, nodding his head with approval. “Nice slam, Hargrove.” Billy only nodded back, not looking as proud as Jess expected him to.
“Yeah, I helped!” Steve called out sarcastically, mumbling after, “Just in case anyone forgot.” He was ignored, however, as the two boys quickly followed behind Patrick. He held onto his nose as he made his way next to Jess, the sound that could be described as a congested sigh escaping his throat. “Just my luck, my nose is fucked, again.” He then gave Billy an annoyed glance before turning his attention to Jess. What blood remained was dry, causing him to itch at the skin, which Jess quickly stopped.
“You’re gonna make it worse,” she reasoned, moving his hand away from his face.
“Can’t get much worse than this…” Steve groaned, remembering their earlier conversation at dinner. “I told you. One more punch to the nose and-”
“Don’t you worry, Harrington, you’re still as pretty as ever,” Billy interrupted. He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he looked over at the old restaurant. “Forgot how much of a dump this place is.”
The trio began walking toward the front, Billy ensuring Jess was a few steps ahead of him until they reached the door. Steve was the first through, leaving it open for Billy to palm, allowing Jess entry next before he followed close behind. It was decently crowded as there were now more of their peers here than just the basketball and cheer team. Jess had only been here once after it became this, the get-together here making her uneasy. It was strange seeing this place in its current state.
She had remembered her father taking her here when she was only six, not caring about the thirty-minute drive. He would always tell her about this place. This town. How he grew up here. How he was waiting for when he could afford to move their family back here in Hawkins. It was nothing special when she first ate here. It was very plain on the inside. The seat was too tall and her legs were numb when she was done with her food. But she remembers the strawberry milkshake and the man who handed it to her.
It was no longer plain inside. LEDs were tacked into the ceiling lazily, dirty furniture dragged inside from the streets. Random, colorful lamps were plugged into extension cords leading somewhere outside, some with intact shades. Jess looked over the new banners that were hanging from the walls, which she figured were covering the holes made by the teenagers who frequented the abandoned building.
She watched Patrick make his way over to the three, being sure to throw an empty can through the hoop mounted to the wall above the TV before he reached them. He had a few bags of ice in his hand, handing one to each of them. “They gotta decent amount of it if ya need more. Jason and Chrissy are in the bathroom.” He then left as quickly as he came, obviously not ready for his night to end yet.
Billy held the ice in his hand briefly before handing it over to Steve. “Need it more than I do, stud.”
“Shut up…” Steve took the bag anyway, pressing both bags against his face. “Help me get this shit off my face will ya?” He gestured at his nose as he looked down at Jess.
She nodded as she helped him to the bathroom door, Billy right behind them. She knocked quietly. “Hey… you guys still in there?” Jason opened the door soon after, his nose completely clear. His shirt however was not.
“Shit… my mom is gonna kill me…” He looked down at his very stained polo.
“Maybe you can go upstairs and change without her knowing?” Chrissy offered, still scrubbing over it with a wet paper towel. She then looked up, noticing Steve’s bruised and blood-crusted nose. “Here, we’ll get out of your way.” The couple squeezed passed Steve and Jess, the small bathroom now free.
Steve entered first, looking back at Jess who hesitated, looking over her shoulder at Billy. Billy knew he couldn’t go in with them. One, that would be awkward as shit. And two, there was barely any room in there for two people, let alone three. “I’ll be out there,” He gestured vaguely at the large group.
“Don’t go too far, you’re next,” Jess motioned at his lip. He smiled softly down, nodding as he backed away. His eyes held a hint of sadness, but Jess shook it off as she turned away, walking into the bathroom before closing the door.
“So,” Steve started, looking at the wall to where the mirror would have been if it weren’t smashed to pieces months ago. Jess rolled her eyes, already knowing where this conversation was going. She made her way to the strangely clean toilet, picking up one of the gallons of water that was meant for the water tank. She placed her bag of ice on the windowsill, ignoring Steve’s attempt to start an awkward conversation.
“I don’t think this is sanitary…” Jess examined the water in the plastic container, scrutinizing it before looking back at Steve. “You want this on your face?”
Steve then tossed his own bags of ice in the sink, reaching into his pocket, and pulled out a prefilled water bottle. He tossed it so fast that Jess nearly failed to catch it, bouncing it between her hands before securing it in both. “Don’t change the subject.” “What subject?”
“You heard that shit too, right?”
Jess froze, staring at the water bottle to hide her embarrassment. “Heard what…” Jess had a suspicion she knew what he was talking about. The words were still engraved in her mind, the sound of Billy’s menacing voice ringing in her ears.
You wanna explain why you’re touching my girl?
The memory made her heart stutter as she replayed it. Did Steve hear it too? If so, then she wasn’t hearing things? He actually said it?
“C’mon, don’t play dumb,” Steve ordered, grabbing one of the many paper towel rolls and tearing a large share of what was left away. When Jess didn’t say anything back, he sighed, handing the paper towels to her so she could drench them. “Too bad that asshole ruined your night, you and Hargrove could’ve been makin’ out by n-“
“Knock it off, Harrington. You know that was not happening.”
“Oh damn, Harrington now, huh? Struck a nerve did I?” Jess dumped water haphazardly onto the paper towels, pressing against his face harshly as she swiped away some dried-up blood. Steve hissed. “Easy, Jesus Christ, I was kidding.” Jess began cleaning him with more care, making sure to wipe inside his nose as well.
“It’s not broken…” she mumbled as she inspected it more. “Those dudes definitely got a good hit in though.”
“You’re changing the subject again,” He responded in a sing-song voice, trying to get her to look at him.
“Steve, what is there to say? It wasn’t going to happen. It’s never going to happen.”
“Do you want it to happen?”
“No!”
“I get being friends with him, okay, I get it. But remember what we talked about-“
“I know, Steve.”
“Do you?” Steve challenged, his eyebrows raising as she let out an irritated huff. He let his shoulders drop, trying to relax. “You trust him?” His voice was softer than it had been the entire conversation, his question seeming genuine to her. This finally caused her to return eye contact, her mind trying to register the intent behind it.
“I… yeah…”
Steve nodded in recognition, looking past her as he responded. “All of a sudden, huh?” Jess only shook her head, not yet able to respond before Steve spoke up again. “The last time we went to Carol’s, and you were drunk… You defended him all the way home. Said it wasn’t all bad in there. How do you know that?”
“I took the time to look in there.” “And what if you’re wrong?”
“Then I’m wrong,” she spoke without hesitation. “You act like you’ve never been wrong about someone…”
“Low blow, kid,” He responded softly when he realized who she was referring to.
“Sorry…” “It’s fine, you got me,” He sighed, sounding less congested than earlier. He felt around his nose with his hand, looking for any traces of blood. “How bad does it look?”
Jess smiled up at him, taking his jaw in between her palms and adjusting him to look more carefully. “Honestly, not too bad, little bruised. But the blood’s gone.”
“You want me to bring him in?” The question is again soft, genuine, taking Jess off guard. “You’re okay with that?” “I know I’m not wrong about him,” He sighs, readjusting his eyes as he feels the night catching up to him, “I’m just hoping you see it eventually too. And when you do… I’ll be here. Like you were.”
Jess only nods, considering his words.
Steve smirks, turning to leave the bathroom. “I’ll let him know you’re waiting for him.”
Jess fiddled nervously with the bottle, watching the remaining water slosh against the plastic. When she heard the door reopen, she only looked up to make sure it was Billy before her gaze returned to the water.
She heard the door click softly, followed by the sound of boots scraping against tile before she saw the tips of his boots in her peripheral. She allowed herself then to look up, meeting Billy’s surprisingly tired gaze.
“You alright?” She realized too late that it was a stupid question. Not only did he get kicked out of a party he had invited her to and had let one of the boys he hated most drive his car to get him out of there, but now his eye was even more bruised than ever. And she couldn’t help but feel as if it was all because of her.
“’M fine,” He dismissed, which was something that didn’t surprise her. What did, however, was the caring nature in which he grabbed her wrist, the same wrist that he had yanked away from that absolute creep earlier. He had touched her softly before, but never as if he were afraid of her, like he was now. He moved her wrist closer, his fingertips the only form of contact before he mumbled miserably. “Sorry…”
“What do you mean? It’s okay.”
“’S not.” He kept looking down at the faint bruises left from earlier.
“What?” Jess couldn’t understand what he was referring to. She watched the glaze over his eyes as he continued to look at her wrist in what seemed to be disgust. “You drunk?” She tried to let out a laugh before he quickly responded.
“No.” His tone was flat, his anger further evident in the creases of his forehead.
“Okay, sorry, you’re just acting-“
“I told you to stop saying that.”
“You first then.” “No.” This time, his voice softened to the same strained, miserable tone he used to apologize. “I- I fucked your night up.” Jess pulled her wrist away from his fingers, making him clench his jaw. “I didn’t mean to do th- to hurt you.”
“You?” Jess couldn’t understand where he got that idea. He saved me from getting hurt. How could he think that? How could he say that?
“I got pissed when I saw him… Wasn’t thinking. I pulled too hard. Pushed you away.”
Her eyes widened in realization. “No, Billy… No. First off you didn’t push me away.” When it looked like he was about to disagree, she stopped him. “I don’t know what warped version you have of what happened in your head, but I should be thanking you, Billy.” “Could’ve done it different. Wanna start doing things different.”
Jess tore a small square from the paper towel roll, pouring only a little of what remained of the fresh water. She pressed it lightly against his lips, this position becoming a normal for them. “Some people just don’t deserve your different, Billy… that’s okay.”
“What about Steve? Steve deserved different that night right?”
The question caused Jess to stop tending to his lip abruptly, pulling away as her tone dropped. “Don’t do that. Not tonight.”
“You hated me that night.”
“No I didn’t,” She lied, trying to coax him out of the self-depreciation he seemed to be sucking himself into.
“I saw it. I remember it. I don’t want you to hate me like that again,” He whispered, making Jess’s heart drop.
“You’re just drunk, Billy.”
The accusation angered him just as it did earlier. “I told you I was going to drive you back. You think I’d fuck around and get drunk? I told you I wasn’t gonna and I mean the shit I tell you, alright?”
“Then what’s with the overthinking? Where’s all this coming from? Did I give you too much time out there by yourself, huh?” She smiled softly up at him, reaching to mend his lip again.
“You got those bruises because of me. And now I get to drop you off with marks on you.” He didn’t return the smile, instead, his scowl deepened, making her sigh in defeat and try a new approach.
“They’re small, anyway. No one will even notice.”
“How it always starts…”
His quiet comment made Jess’s eyes widen in surprise. “Billy… please don’t do that… this isn’t even like that.”
“Where’s your ice?” Jess scanned the room in response to his question. Her eyes landed on the small windowsill. She grabbed for it, turned back to him, and started to place it against his eye when he flinched away. He grasped it gingerly, moving it down and on her own skin, against her wrist. “Just promise to keep icing it.”
“Thank you, Billy, I mean it. What you did tonight… I know… we may have gotten kicked out or whatever. But I think at least, he deserved it. Guy was an asshole,” When Billy only nodded, she added, “You didn’t ruin my night, I promise.”
“Yeah?”
She nodded without hesitation. “Yeah.”
“You’re alright?”
“Yeah. Thanks to you.”
He nods, a small smile appearing for a moment before he covers it with his usual scowl. “Yeah well, it wasn’t a big deal.”
“Was to me.” Before he could respond, a sudden surge of confidence pulsed through Jess, moving her to step closer. She pushed up to the balls of her feet, balancing on her tiptoes, and placed a small kiss on the corner of Billy’s lips, looking away sheepishly afterward. “Happy New Year, Billy.”
Billy’s eyes slowly widened in the realization of what happened, unable to take his eyes off her as he tried to mask his now labored breathing. He snaked his arm around the small of her waist and pulled her closer, taking the ice from her with his free hand as she pressed against his chest. He rested his lips against the top of her head, the scent of her shampoo taking over. Too afraid to actually kiss her back, he just stayed there and whispered against her hair, “Happy New Year, gorgeous."

can't stand the rain // george russell

summary: the nights are always long and lonely when she misses her lover. but dating a formula one driver isn't easy, and she knew that when she started dating the most wonderful and exciting man that she had ever met.
pairing: george russell x female reader
warnings: longing and pining! the harsh reality that which would be dating someone like george russell, but there is a happy ending! allusions to sex, but not written out.
I can't stand the rain, against my window cause he ain't here with me//hey window pane tell me, do you remember how sweet it used to be? when we were together everything was so grand//now that we parted there's just one sound that I just can't stand
it was on nights like these that she missed george the most.
rain drops crashing down against the window panes, a steady haze of fog rolling across the english country side.
she hated that sound when he wasn't here to share it with.
y/n was sitting on the couch by the window, a scented bath and body works candle on the coffee table, burning and filling the main floor of the house with that simple, summer scent as she wrapped herself in a blanket, powerpoint presentations reflecting off the blue light lenses as she typed.
dating someone as magnetic and larger than life as george russell was no easy feat. the days and nights were long, the timezones too much to bear as his schedule demanded he jet off to some faraway country every weekend.
sometimes, it felt like her george wasn't actually her george, but the world's george.
she slammed her laptop shut, rubbing her eyes under her glasses before she turned on the tv, dialing in to sky sports as the warm up for the evenings race began.
if george were here, they would be watching some stupid movie on netflix (last rainstorm it was bait, a movie about tsunamis and twelve foot long sharks), with the plush calvin klein blanket pulled tightly around their bodies until one of them got tired of the film and started getting handsy.
something about the rain always got george russell going. those afternoons usually ended up with y/n on her back, georges gentle kisses against her skin as he made love to her, the pitter patter of the rain in the background.
she missed him.
the race ended, and she sent him a congratulations text, knowing that he did the best that he could in a car that wasn’t where either mercedes driver had expected it to be.
she blew out the candle, phone in the back pocket of her jeans as she moved to the kitchen of a house that felt too large for just her alone as she warmed up the kettle.
her phone rang, and she slipped the small device out of her pocket, beaming as she swiped up to talk to the most important man in her life.
“hey, beautiful.” george russell beamed from the other end of the line, and the other side of the world. “how are you feeling?”
“tired.” y/n laughed. “uni is relentless. remind me why I decided to go to law school?”
“because I wanted a strong, powerful girlfriend?”
“hilarious. it’s killing me slowly.” she grimaced, placing a bag of peppermint tea in her indigo mug. “you had a good race today, honey. I know the car is shite this year, but you’re driving the hell out of that thing.”
“you know what, I think I’m finally getting the hang of the car.”
“that’s really good, georgie. I’m proud of you.”
george smiled sadly, wishing that he could reach through the phone and hold his lover in his arms. every part of his skin, his body aches for her touch, for the feeling of cradling her in his arms again.
“I miss you. I’ll be home before you know it, yeah? you’ll wake up in a few mornings and I will be there and you’ll get to wrap your arms around me and we’ll make the most of the time we have before I have to go to the next race.”
“I wish it were easier. I wish I could come with you.”
“I know, sweetheart. I know.”
two days passed since that phone call, and the rain showed no signs of stopping. a few times the downpour has lightened to a manageable drizzle, but it was still as if the clouds in the sky were reading her emotions.
reading how much she longed for georges presence.
how she missed watching him play backgammon with his mates at the table by the french doors, sunlight refracting on his face.
how she missed his touch, even when it was the touch of his cold, cold feet in bed.
how she missed his cooking, even when he burned the simplest of dishes and ended up ordering takeaway (and swallowing his pride).
the weather outside reflected how she felt, but that fact did nothing to make her feel better. george was stuck in team meetings, despite the promise of a two week break before the next double header began.
she was debating the merits of going to visit her parents in the city, reconnecting with the world and getting away from her feelings and her term papers. it seemed like all she had done since george left was drink peppermint tea and pore over old court documents.
until the morning all was right again.
the sunlight was orange as it filtered through her curtains, the sun just beginning to rise over the hilly countryside. she heard footsteps, and the sound of the creaky bedroom door swinging open.
she’s have to to tell george to fix that.
george.
she didn’t believe her eyes. there he was, kneeling in front of the bed to kiss her forehead. she grumbled his name, trying to peel her groggy eyes open.
“I’m right here, darling. caught an earlier flight. there’s an iced coffee in the fridge for you.”
she smiled, reaching for his hand. “I missed you.”
“I know, love. can I join you?”
“you may.” she hummed, pulling the blankets back up over her shoulders. normally she would have loved to watch her boyfriend undress, but this morning she was far too sleepy to care about the sound of georges heavy hilfiger belt hitting the hardwood floor.
eyes still closed, she felt the mattress dip next to her as george slipped underneath the covers, taking her into his arms. she sighed contentedly, resting her head on his bare chest as the driver ran his large hand up and down her back.
“I love you, y/n.”
“I love you too, george william russell.”

Summary: Eddie helps you through a hard time by giving you the treatment you deserve in more than one way...
Recap: Eddie and you moved one step further after your ex boyfriend lashed out on you at the party, things finally getting steamy after longing for Eddie!!!
--------------------------------------------------
It has been a week since you've seen or heard from Jason. Your mom tells you that he has come by every morning before school to talk to you, but you refuse to ever see him again, telling your mom that you're too sick to talk. Little does she know that you've been sneaking in Eddie Munson every night through your bedroom window, which in your defense is totally valid. With Eddie there you feel save instead of worrying that Jason will come in the middle of the night to KILL you....totally not for the reason of you being horny or anything. I mean honestly it isn't your fault it's Eddie's for being so irresistible. How everyone at school thinks he is a freak will forever be questionable to you. How it took you so long to realize your feelings for Eddie is also questionable.
Today is the day you have been draining for your mom is forcing you to go back to school, she bought the sickness for a week, but she's over the lies now.
"Y/n you're not pulling this again honey it has been a week and your friends and boyfriend are worried about you....Do you know how many times Jason has called this house?" she points to the phone that has been ringing for the past hour. Does this guy ever give up?
"Mom please I really am sick, I swear...Check my temp".
"No, you're going to school and that's final, even if I have to drive you myself".
__________________________
It's your first day back after missing school in your final attempt to avoid bumping into Jason, which you hope will never happen again, considering the guy literally hit you and you've been covering it up with makeup. Everyone still thinks you and Jason are together, not knowing that the past week you've been going out after your mom leaves to visit a certain curly head.
"Hey y/n, where have you been are you okay?" Robin finds you by your locker, "You know it's unlike you to miss this many days and in a row too...Oh and you will not believe it Chance and Chrissy totally slept together at Tina's party...Speaking of which where did you run off to?.. Also the girl from band sh-"
"Robin!" you cut her off, "Please can I just put my books away first and then I'll answer all of your questions I promise".
"Oh yeah your right, I'm sorry...there's just so much to talk about and you've missed so much and we have been worried, but also I'm excited your back because I really need your help with something, oh and Jason he-"
You slam your locker shut, giving her a look.
"Sorry" she shuts up.
"Look, all you need to know is that I will not be seeing Jason anymore" You smile at her and walk towards your class.
As your walking you spot Eddie lecturing Dustin and Mike, "Look you either find a replacement or I'll personally hunt you down myself, Vecna isn't the one you should be worried about little ones" You overhear him say when he looks up and spot you walking his way.
He moves Dustin to the side to get to you, "Hey, there you are", he says smiling at you, "M'lady" he kisses your hand and bows.
"Why thank you kind sir" you play into it and curtsey back.
He pulls you to the side and lowers his voice, "Hey how are you doing, you know being back and everything, I swear if Jason even dares to speak to you I wi-"
You cut him off, "Eddie I'm fine I swear and besides you have definitely been taking good care of me" you wink at him.
He smiles, his eyes darkening "I haven't even showed you the best part" He moves you closer to him, leaning in to kiss you.
"Well isn't this a surprise" you back away and find Jason standing behind Eddie, your smile dropping. Eddie's grip on your waist tightens. "Well don't stop on my account, please continue", He speaks loudly starting to clap.
"Hey man you better leave us alone before I-", he interrupts Eddie, "Before you what, Sleep with my girlfriend, inflict her with your devil worshipping cult..I mean come on freak there's only so much you can do until someone might retaliate and do something back....Oh wait maybe someone already did" he points behind him to the trash which beholds Eddie's guitar broken into pieces the strings standing up.
"Eddie" I look at him to see him in shock not moving or saying anything, completely heartbroken. "Jason!" He stops laughing, "This is too far even for you, Eddie has spent hours saving up for that guitar, you're a fucking asshole" You stomp towards him and punch him in the face.
"OH MY GOD I think my nose is broken", blood streams from his face as he screams out, "YOU FUCKING BITCH YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS Y/N, YOU HEAR ME YOU SLUT, I WILL KILL YOU AND THAT FUCKING FREAK!" you hear him yell as you grab Eddie's hand and run down the hall. So much for a first day back...
NOTE: I'M SO SORRY THIS WAS RUSHEDDDD! I'm starting college so it might take me a few days to post again, I'm trying to get out as many stories as I can, but I may be a little busy with life..... PLEASE BE PATIENT< THANK YOU :))))
Part 5 will be posted soon.... AND WILL BE PURE SMUT FINALLYYYYYYYYYY
last part??? Maybe.....

2024 in what made me happy: a misc list
the broadcast schedules of cdrama. this year, for the first time, i finished a cdrama because i saw one gif set of wu jinyang telling wang xingyue that he was handsome in the pouring rain. after the double, i watched and loved love like the galaxy, watched and loved amidst a snowstorm of love. then, i began watching and loving blossom as it aired new episodes every single day. i love what this has done to my drama-watching routines because it's not as fickle as a binge drop and it's not as sedate as weekly drops.
no, but weekly drops too. especially, only murders in the building and running to reddit to see what all the hot new theories are. and, culinary class wars — that was a good month.
i refused to listen to podcasts, and it made some small room to listen to other, more useful, voices. i didn’t finish books i cared little for. i closed tabs and deleted bookmarks more often. i didn't attend any weddings, in an attempt to recover from the weddings i did attend in 2023 and the 2025 invitations currently dinging on my whatsapp.
got a job, hated it, found some courage to turn back on the excellent pay, and left it. got another job soon enough, one that now keeps me on my toes but isn't painful on my heels.
my mother's saree collection, and to the first year of my life when i got to wear them on the reg.
learning chinese and refining my urdu. i can now recall maybe 15 chinese characters without fumbling and read a faiz poem slowly, with a pencil and in a quiet room. it's great because it's so difficult.
saife hassan, whose direction of zard patton ka bunn has (a) seized me back into pakistani drama (b) given me meenu and nofil's tender, sweet romance (c) brought back feelings that i thought dead and wouldn't want to articulate in this space.
the ambition in as byatt's possession, which crept into my dreams to remind me that i am slacking and in cixin liu's three-body problem, which crept into my nightmares to remind me that the grand architecture held in the entirety of my imagination is a speck in the universe. i can't tell you if i loved or even enjoyed either book but i don't think it matters. i have reserved the remaining two books of liu's trilogy for 2025.
steaming white rice with a spoonful of ghee and a smattering of salt, the most delicious appetizer to any meal.
last year, after avoiding them because they were always priced higher, i began buying poetry books. this growing bedside stack has been my solace and i love reaching for a random page to find something i needed to read in that moment. i began this year with my dearest heaney and i intend to end it with cavafy.
the discipline of a simple skincare routine, which i am not always good at keeping up with and my skin isn't all that better either but i am trying.
syd & carmy & richie & tina & marcus & chef terry & everyone else in the bear.
the soundtrack of lovely runner kept me company on some of the longest commutes and shut out loud arguments in the ladies compartment. the soundtrack of love like the galaxy felt like the soundtrack of my life for about three months this year. the soundtrack of the last samurai came out of nowhere to aid me during difficult work sessions. i am always in search of appropriate times to blast the soundtrack of gully boy, the weeknd's my dear melancholy, and frou frou's details. there's no lack of appropriate times to blast a rahman album.
driving, i guess. i resisted for as long as i could because i am a public transportation person but i do not live in a city that is conducive for it. i do feel a strange sense of accomplishment at learning this skill.
the classics that i missed when they were being defined as such: i loved moonstruck's ridiculous commitment to being perfect because of its loudness and not despite it. sandra and keanu really did something special with speed (i know!!!) and i was beyond thrilled to experience that kind of textured action filmmaking. michael clayton and the pelican brief were wonderful watches as smaller, quieter, revelatory films where stars get to be actors. lee mi-sook in an affair changed me at a molecular level.
i fell in love all over again with short films and documentaries: loved sean wang's silly and heartfelt nǎi nai & wài pó, loved maryam takafory's touching irani bag. i rewatched amit dutta's nainsukh a full decade after i first watched it in college and i am yet to figure out how he did it.
monsoons, which i didn't get to experience this year but about which i read a miscellaneous ton in search of a doctoral thesis topic for whenever i choose the take the plunge. i am never not thinking about those winds and those rains from my childhood and the limited future i can imagine for myself.
my k-pop listening has suffered because my favourites are serving in the military but i held on thanks to the loving embrace of enhypen. i watched their online concerts with utmost pleasure. best performances: enhypen. best album: ateez's golden hour, part 2. best music video: stray kids' chk chk boom.
hozier singing i think i'll take my whiskey neat / my coffee black and my bed at three / you're too sweet for me.
so much hozier, london grammar, rahman, the hindi cinema by the decade playlists on spotify, and terrible tiktok music that unfortunately sound fab in the car music system.
my loved ones and all of you, who are better than me in every way that counts.
