Hi, I am writing an HoD story and I was wondering if you have any ideas of a good combination of velaryon and targaryen mixed style? I want the strong boys to have a good mixture.
Hmmmm I don’t think there’s a giant difference in the clothes they wear since they’re so geographically close, similarly wealthy and powerful, and have been intermarrying for years. However!
There could be a mix of motifs done through embroidery, beading, and darning. Rocky shores and waves combined with a dragon flying overhead. Quartered sigils on the breast, of both dragon and seahorse. This is an easy way to combine representative elements. Since most men will wear similar styles of breeches, doublet, and jerkin, these richly embroidered designs will help establish the strong boys as both targ and Velaryon
Also shoutout to whoever told me about shot silk bc it works in this scenario. Establishing the wealth and finery of both houses, and when red and blue (representative house colors are mixed) you get a pretty shade of purple, which is perfect for the child of a targ and a Velaryon (legally).
Differing colors on the boys doublets and other clothing can also work. Jace might normally wear red and black when he attends council meetings with Rhaenyra, while Luke will wear gold and blue clothing with flowing, wave like designs and accessories (gifted by Corlys ofc) to establish him as heir to driftmark

Something I love about art is, often, you won't be able to tell who made the piece of art - no matter what, no matter one's background, gender, or anything - people want to surround themselves with beauty, creation, something which stirs ones emotions, warmth, fear, care, and love. There's something special about that.

Someone on Twitter asked why people draw Billy in a green sweater because his sweater is actually black in the movie, and I wanted to see if they're actually onto something. Like, how funny would it be if we've been getting the color wrong this whole time?
These are the clearest shots of Billy's sweater in the whole movie and I can see where OP is coming from. I mean, the movie is pretty dark and we never see Billy clearly, so his sweater appears to be a darker color. I actually did believe his sweater might be black until this scene came up, which would make sense. Give the home invader a black sweater, it's more practical.
But nah, it's obviously just a very dark green.
Also, that's a weird way of grabbing someone's hair. Just holding your hand in front of someone and waiting for them to pass by like a fish in a net. Anyway

What’s your favourite food item on the BatBurger Menu? Also you mentioned being from Star city, why did you move to Gotham? The cheap rent maybe? Anyhow good luck - from a Gothamite born and raised.
*cough cough* who’s your fave vigilante so far? *cough cough*
My go to order is now Bat-Fries and the Night-Wings, but honestly getting the BatBurger Deluxe Oversized! and sharing it with some friends at 3am hits different.
I'm actually from CENTRAL City, and I moved to Gotham cause of the Martha Wayne Foundation thing. There were scholarships open at an expo I went to and I managed to get in (majoring Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at GSU), wouldn't have made it otherwise. I live in the dorms that came with the scholarship(the foundation is genuinely mind boggling how much cash does the Wayne guy have??) so honestly I haven't been able to see the housing market... but cheap? Might have to look into that.
oh and
*cough cough* Spoiler*cough cough*

While I absolutely love seeing artists make Reigen fan art where he is dripped out like a San Francisco homosexual in the 80s, this man canonically has the same sense of style as an old Japanese man.
He is wearing socks and sandals, he is doing the pulled up tshirt thing, he is wearing athleisure in ways that appear uncoordinated and strange.
A mesh shirt would kill him instantly.
