#TGCF #he xuan #I only know TGCF through having multiple people try and explain it to me + watching S1 of the animated series.#And fandom osmosis of some characters and plot points.#So I had a genuine 'A platypus? *PERRY* the platypus?' moment when doing research for this prompt.#My method for drawing novel characters is to read their description + personality and make a few drafts from there.#Sometimes I get curious and look up official art on a wiki. Ensue the: “huh who is this (sees the female form) I KNOW WHO THIS IS”#Anyways this is actually just a warm up. An unprecedented part 2 comes tomorrow.#Because the journey of “How *would* I draw he xuan?” took me on a wild journey that nearly drove me into madness.#Spoilers: its not how I drew HX in this comic.
