BEHOLD!! I Lilo and Stitch-afied "the woman yelling at a cat" meme! Had this idea for a while and thought I might as well draw it.

If you've watched the L&S TV show, you'll know Gantu often gets berated by Hämsterviel for not catching his experiments, so this is perhaps a visual representation of if Gantu finally (and justifiably) snaps and flies of the handle at his boss. 😂😂😂

I have two Roman Empires. They surround Reuben and Gantu. (Third one is in the reblogs!)

My Roman Empire is how Reuben literally stopped being rude to everybody when Lilo gave him a name. A NAME. From the 65 episodes, all those insults he spewed out… that snarky attitude he gave everybody… all the hurt feelings he caused ended at this moment. You never see him being mean to Lilo, Gantu or Stitch ever again. He literally considers something as simple as being given a name affection.

He went the entire show without a name, just being called 625. Meanwhile, if not all, most of the other experiments had a name. Pretty sure it made Reuben feel that he was irrelevant, forgotten and most of all: failed. Perhaps that's ONE of the reasons he STAYED so rude throughout the show and like for half the Leroy and Stitch movie; the time he was simply a number?

My second Roman Empire is about how Gantu… this intimidating, strict, ruthless guy

...did not like being evil. He was seeking emotional validation.

"Am I good enough?" I can only imagine him asking himself that after hearing Hamsterviel, Reuben or his father's negative voice in his head. I don’t care if Reuben was “struggling too”, he still didn’t have to project so much.

When Gantu got vulnerable with Reuben in episode 28, he talked about how his father was very authoritarian and strict. He also talked about how his peers looked down on him. Can't imagine how bad he wanted to prove his daddy and peers wrong. He truly did try. It's awful because he even talks about how his life would have been better if he would have stuck with his girlfriend. Deep down, being the captain isn't what he wanted. He wanted to live a normal childhood. Sacrificed it, though, all for his dad.

His first attempt at being what his father pushed him to be was under the Grand Councilwoman. However, after the chaos he and stitch had, she fired him. This is why he had such a hate for stitch throughout the entire show. Not because of selfishness, not because he was evil, but because stitch ruined the pathway that gave him that sense of superiority and validation.

Throughout the show, no thanks to plot armor and gags and jokes, he is constantly failing to capture experiments AND is being ridiculed. It's by everybody- Lilo, Stitch, Reuben, random people. Sometimes it's physical, sometimes it's verbal. It definitely has an effect. Might as well be physical and verbal abuse because of how often and harsh it is.

It’s not normal to call yourself a failure because you don’t know where a street is.

There’s this episode where he prefers to be a guy named “Uncle Chester”. While he’s Chester, he doesn’t have to worry about Hamsterviel’s ruthlessness and doesn’t have to be bullied every single episode. He was delusional as Chester but at least he was happy. He pointed out how he was unhappier as Gantu.

But

There is nobody that affects him as much as Hamsterviel does.

I've ALWAYS been asking myself, "why doesn't he just squish Hamsterviel? Hamsterviel is all bark no bite!" Hamsterviel is the most demanding, controlling, manipulating, obnoxious, and most of all- DEGRADING boss that Gantu has had. However…

Could it be that he resorts to Hamsterviel and never hurts him because it's another chance to prove himself to a figure like his father?

He sees toxicity as another chance to prove himself. Doesn’t matter all the suffering he does.

As long as the job gets done, right?

But I mean, hey.

Gantu is hot.

Fandorm Showcase #6 - Lilo & Stitch

That's right, we're going for a triple post today!

Aloha from the friendly island of Hawaii, I'm introducing you to our next dorm...

Malilewa!

The dorm's name is peaceful translated in Hawaiian, which symbolizes the inspiration of this dorm.

This dorm focuses mostly on scientific brilliance and ingenuity, being one of the dorms that is tech-focused.

The dorm is also the introduction of a new species integrated into NRC as students, called the numixilians, a race of intelligent aliens from far-off galaxies who came to earth in order to experience human cultures and learn new things. Like with the merfolks, numixilians also has a camp where they'll be able to integrate into society and co-exist with humans, they have the natural ability to change their forms so they would look like humans to fit in, but due to their DNA being digital, they can easily get disturbed by electrical interferences and suddenly go feral into their true alien forms (which will be shown later).

"A dorm founded on the galactic genius's spirit of innovation. Students in this dorm are the most brilliant inventors and genius in the world, able to invent anything for any problem."

Requirements and Traits:

A technological genius

Has a hand in inventing or tinkering

A fascination for the cosmos and the galaxies (For overly-ambitious people specifically)

Now comes the dorm uniform design:

This one is a bit of a tough idea, since there was no clothing that screams uniform, but I eventually took some internet inspo as well as references from the movie to piece this together. The antler thing is the same one like the grand councilwoman wears, but in Leroy & Stitch, Hamsterviel wore it too so I used that idea. For the magic item the housewarden owns, I opted for a drone that is shaped like Hamsterviel, since this dorm has a parallel to Ignihyde. It can act as its own drone or as the housewarden's magic castor (like Idia's floating skull thing).

Now for the character roster:

Bow down to the greatest genius in the whole world...

Gizmo Von Hamston! (Twisted off Dr Jacque Von Hamsterviel)

Who has the greatest brains in Night Raven College? Why, the almighty Gizmo Von Hamston, of course! Being the smartest gerbil human and sophomore housewarden of Malilewa, he knows his way around creating great inventions that could help with any situation, no matter the difficulty. Just don't call him a shortie, his height has nothing to do with his intellect. Nothing can outsmart him as he is always one step ahead of everyone else, proving that his intelligence is superior than other inferior beings. But, there is a secret hidden behind this supposed "genius", a huge facade that has fooled people for years.

Notable Members:

Monty Carrozza (Freshman) - A lazy guy who mostly spends his time making sandwiches of various types, even grotesque creations that can rival Lilia's cooking (Twisted off Reuben/625)

Garth Cetus (Junior) - A tough-looking boy who got expelled from RSA due to his violent tendencies and ended up having to listen to a shortie smart housewarden. (Twisted off Gantu)

Laz Shikari (Freshman) - A guy who is a friend of Monty, but he's a bit of a bully and a menace to everyone that runs into him. He knows nothing but destruction and wants to destroy everything. (Twisted off Leroy/629)

Synopsis:

The cultural fair has ended after weeks of activity, everything is back to normal, saving for a last-minute event Crowley has scheduled...a tech fair, suggested by the majority of Ignihyde as well as Malilewa.

A fair where the brilliant minds show off their inventions in showcases or presentations to impress judges that came to see the genius creations.

Gizmo is most anticipating for the judge's praises, so he goes to extreme lengths to make sure he gets that top spot, until another fellow inventor and former best friend of Gizmo joined the contest, making the competition more intense, all without giving away his ultimate secret.

Okay so, this part of the showcase is major spoilers, so if you want to keep reading, go ahead. If not, well, you're going to be scrolling down to the end anyways so...too bad :)

Gizmo is actually a tiny lil gerbil who has a massive intelligence boost thanks to a totally legal experiment of enhancing human minds.

He is actually piloting a human mech so he could pass off as a human, and that nobody cares for a gerbil like him to be a genius.

As for the other three:

Monty is a numixilian no.625, known to have a stomach that can consume any material without issue.

Garth is a numixilian NULL, often mistaken for a merfolk due to the fact his true form is a whale-like humanoid.

Laz is a numixilian no.629, known to destroy anything in his wake with no way of stopping him.

Don't mind me, I'm just gonna ramble about how much I love the new Disney Villain's Show Villains: Unfairly Ever After even though it hasn't even come out yet. The concept art has done more than enough to get me excited.

It includes references to ALL the Villains??? I hate that Magnifico is there but we also have DR. HAMSTERVIEL?! And deep cuts like Madam Medusa AND THE HORNED KING plus morally grey ones like Long John Silver and Bowler Hat Guy??? I'm losing it.

HENCHMEN ARE INCLUDED?!!

We're getting face characters for Hook, Jafar, and Hades THANK GOD.

The plot is a drag show competition between the villains about who was treated the most unfairly and, I gotta say, Edgar from the Aristocats is right fucking there. I don't support cat murder, but I do think he has a right to be upset that the cats got some inheritance and he got nothing.

Also, if this isn't as campy as Villain's Tonight, it'll be a waste.
