i don't know maybe it's the translation i read but i guess i always thought it was made fairly clear that shuro never legitimately hated laios so much as he resented him for being able to be the way he was. much like laios (albeit for very different reasons) shuro's affect is frequently commented on by others to be strange and at a mismatch with the prevailing culture around him, being very reticent to the point of the part where he tells the girl he likes that he likes her being when he Proposed. quite a few characters say something to this effect! shuro was raised in formality and stoicism and i think has a tendency towards not rocking the boat even besides that, and now here's this guy who breaks every one of his rules and he makes it look so easy. it's like a two-pronged frustration of "doesn't this guy understand that you can't just do that" and "fuck, what would it feel like to be able to do that." of course he gets mad! it's frustration, but it's also envy.

what kind of plants do you grow in your garden, dr. charkoal?

Dr. Charkoal: The answer to your question depends on which garden you're referring to, though I'm sure you've already heard me talk about my little berry orchard. I suppose I haven't talked about my home garden. The space I have to work with there is a bit more limited at home than it is here, so my main garden is mostly dedicated to herbs and other "useful" plants I can fit in the area, simply because I do not respect stores that try to sell me something I can so easily grow myself. A sentiment perhaps strengthened by Audrey's reinforcement.

That said, I do also keep plenty of flowering plants in my home as well, grown in individual pots and planters. I recommend growing your own herbs and vegetables if you can, it makes the meals you cook with them taste much better.

Actually, what WOULD a CDAP Spamton and Jevil reunion be like? Spamton seems so much more reserved and chilled out since he got his body back and has been living with the ads

Actually the next chapter is gonna deal with this, I just really have not been in the space to sit down and write the next plot point. Though it'd kind of be like Go My Own Way from Highschool Musical 2 but Spamton is Gabriella and Troy is Jevil but much more dramatic and less corny. Also a little more bitter.

Jevil hasn't been doing a lot of growing yet since the merge or coming back (ill elaborate in the chapter) and it's gonna show in how they interact. I feel like he still means well now but he has not mellowed out at all yet.
