A character looks straight into the camera and says "I'm not interested in romance" and people will still say "No, it's not confirmed they're aromantic!!!" "They could change their mind!!!" "it's a challenge for them to overcome!!!" "They'll have character development that makes them fall in love"

It's like they are given the most blatant answer to a character romantic orientation and they actively ignore it. all the while all it takes is subtext for people to speak as if it is fact for a character to be any other sexuality.

Having modern business lingo is bad enough in contemporary pieces, but in a fantasy piece. "Ask" has only been used like that in the US recently and it always sounds like its coming out of some middle manager who is about ready to lock you into a "dialog about synergy."

Well, sorry you feel that way, i suggest my comic isnt for you then cause i have people talk just naturaly i dont put much thought into when words where invented or first used as id be constantly googling it and im not doing that, if i was doing that they should be talking in old english which would sound unnatural for a reader. This is fantasy, it isnt real, yes it's medival but it also is not, they have animal heads saying "big ask" isnt that big of a deal.

The British Mandate of Palestine =/= the State of Palestine.

There has never been a Palestinian state. That's not trying to justify anything or whatever, it's just the fucking history. The area now known as Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories was once "Judea" the homeland of the Jewish People, a self governing region/country/area. It was then colonised by multiple empires, the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the Arab Caliphate, the Ottoman Empire the British, Empire. None of these are a Palestinian states; these are all the result of imperialist colonising ideologies.

There could have been a self determined state in 1948 but instead there was a war because proto-Israel was attacked and defended herself.

If you need to rewrite history to justify your hate, maybe you're not as progressive as you want to think you are.

Edit: as I've said many times, I'm very pro 2-state solution. This post is not about that but I will not have this being used by other people to straw man me and lie about my beliefs
