Hi! This will be a blog open to questions for me to attempt to write in character responses to regarding Disney Dreamlight Valley (as I am getting back into the game after…I think a year or so…idk how long tbh).

My Ruler’s name is Vaeri and her appearance is under the cut (I cannot draw to save my life so I used my resources, which is Gacha Life, sorry about the quality in advance) and questions are open to be around any character in the game and their opinions as well as about Vaeri and her opinions.

I will also post little attempts at drawing on here relating to Dreamlight Valley, as well as just little shit posts about the game.

Black Friday is not just about cheap TVs, cut price gaming consoles, and saving money on laptops; it’s also about getting a bargain on Faraday cages to stop 5G from melting your brain, grabbing a great deal on biblically inspired diet pills, and securing that hot-pink T-shirt with a picture of president-elect Donald Trump on the front.

This year, far-right extremists, MAGAworld, and conspiracists are all jumping on the Black Friday bandwagon to try and persuade their followers to buy untested health supplements, unfunny novelty mugs, and guns—lots and lots of guns.

Rather than advertising on mainstream online marketplaces offered by sites including Google or Facebook, these groups are targeting their audience where they live, on fringe and alternative online platforms with little or no moderation. Spaces like Gab, a white-supremacist-friendly social network run by a christian nationalist. Or Telegram, where election deniers and neo-Nazi groups happily sit side-by-side despite new privacy changes being introduced this year. And of course,Trump’s own Truth Social, where his most devoted followers can be found.

Gab and Truth Social did not immediately respond to a request to comment. Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn said that ads placed through the Telegram Ads platform are vetted before they are shown.

For those feeling a little drained after Thanksgiving, alternative health company Exodus Strong is offering discounts on a dietary supplement which has “7 Biblically-inspired ingredients and a molecular hydrogen generating blend that optimize your Mind and Body to function the way God intended.” The tablets, which are currently being advertised up to 60 percent off on Truth Social, include, among other biblical ingredients, frankincense and myrrh. Those who purchase one of these supplements will even get a free gift: a prayer plan.

Undermining the boasts about the product slightly, however, is the disclaimer on the company’s own website that reads: “These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”

Launched just in time for Black Friday, the new online store from right-wing YouTube-alternative Rumble features a who’s who of conspiracy theorists and conservative agitators on its front page, including Trump confidante Laura Loomer and underpants-wearing baptiser Russell Brand.

The store itself is a cornucopia of unimagined gems, everything from Faraday cages for your phone to stop 5G melting your brain, to nuclear fallout preparedness kits for the bargain price of $349. Rumble did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Many far-right and conspiracy newsletters and subscription services are offering huge discounts to lock in their audiences for the next 12 months. Gab for example is offering 50 percent discounts on yearly subscriptions to its AI service, whose racist chatbots have been trained to deny the Holocaust.

An antisemitic Irish blogger who is a close ally of white supremacist Nick Fuentes is offering 40 percent off his Substack subscriptions directly to his existing readers, showing that the effort to cash in on Black Friday hype is not limited to extremists in the US.

By far the most popular Black Friday ads on these platforms are from gun manufacturers, who are offering huge discounts on everything from high-powered rifles to a pink “no drill cheek rest” for your scoped long gun. (The “MAGA Patriot,” a Trump-themed AR-15 that was created in the wake of the president-elect surviving an assassination attempt by the same gun, is not discounted for Black Friday.)

Some of these promotions are simply flogging pro-MAGA paraphernalia. On Truth Social, Fox News host Sean Hannity is promoting the Black Friday deals available in his own merch store. From coffee cups with the phrase “leftist tears” to a “Daddy’s Home” T-shirt featuring a picture of Trump in front of the White House wearing a hot-pink jacket, Hannity has something for all tastes—as long as those tastes align with a pro-Trump, MAGA, Christian nationalist view of America.

For those Trump supporters who may be missing the glory days of 2020 when they could come together online to rage against the voting machines for stealing the election, conspiracy group Audit the Vote PA has got you covered with a T-shirt emblazoned with the words “election denier,” advertised on Gab.

And the biggest election denier of them all, pillow salesman Mike Lindell, is, of course, having a massive Black Friday sale. The man who has sponsored huge swathes of the far-right media ecosystem with promotional codes for the last four years is now offering a two-pack of “We the People” pillow covers for just $25.

On these alternative platforms, discussions about Black Friday are not only about getting 50 percent off “Make Christmas Great Again” T-shirts. Those promotions are interspersed with incredibly antisemitic and racist posts about the day, including several featuring children in black face.

Some users of Gab and Truth Social are also pushing back against Black Friday, calling out the “deranged libtards who turn into dangerous NCPs” during the event (misspelling NPC, which is used to describe someone who is predictable or robotic.) Others insist they are “boycotting Black Friday” because it’s a cash grab by the globalist elite.

And of course, conspiracies are never far away.

One user on Trump’s Truth Social, who calls themselves “Trust the Plan” (spelled like trusttheplqn), believes they have uncovered a secret message in one store’s Black Friday promotional material based on “intel” provided by another Truth Social account called Entheos. The conspiracy theory centers on the store promoting a “storewide blackout” for Black Friday, which “Trust the Plan” believes is code for something sinister taking place, though they fail to say exactly what this is.

“Black friday is on the 29th, but their sale starts on 27th (date that Entheos gave). And why would there be a ‘blackout storewide’ for black friday? You want complete opposite of a blackout...so people can actually shop.”

For others however, the situation appears much more dire. One Gab poster shared an article from a conspiracy site discussing a “global escalation” on Friday. The piece suggests that recent comments by Russian president Vladimir Putin related to launching a nuclear strike signal a looming apocalypse. “Stay Armed, Stay Safe, Patriots,” the poster wrote on Gab.

Fun Facts About Kingdom Hearts! (may cause mild psychic damage)

The marketing team accidentally tricked people into thinking that a book written by Jiminy Cricket went rogue. It was actually a previously-established doppelganger for the brooding atoner character powered by the protagonist's memories of him from the first game. This is because the book is also a doppelganger for the brooding atoner character based on said character's appearance in the first game.

It never occurred to the main villain that said doppelgangers could be used to fulfill his evil scheme without needing to get overly-complicated, made-to-ensure-you-can't-rewrite-anything time travel involved.

Maleficent supposedly died in the first game, and her resurrection was shown in the third game, Kingdom Hearts II, but a mobile game revealed that, instead of dying, she accidentally time traveled into a computer simulation of a book of prophecies, which was possible because she was a figure in said prophecies.

Goofy is the guy with a braincell.

The Tron in II is a pirated copy downloaded by a scientist king. However, in 3D, the protagonist meets the real Tron, and the real thing seems to remember him despite those memories not being his. This is not a plot hole.

There's an entire game from the perspective of a member of a secret cabal of zombies who is the protagonist's empty husk that slowly becomes his own person separate from the protagonist. Salty ice cream is an important symbol of friendship in this game.

There are several characters who are related to the protagonist through weird metaphysical shit. There's the aforementioned husk, one of said husk's best friends, who was made from the protagonist's memories, the boy who was split in half and had his half of himself fixed by the protagonist being a baby at the time, the half that boy lost, and an artist, whose metaphysical relationship is a whole other can of worms.

Until Final Fantasy XVI, Donald Duck was the most powerful Black Magic user in Square Enix history.

The main villain started working under the scientist king who pirated Tron, betrayed him, stole his name, and split himself into Billy Zane and a cult leader with lightsabers after possessing a himbo and getting amnesia. All according to plan.

In 3D, the main villain reveals that he wants to control the protagonist's body as part of his plan. He fails, but in III, Remy succeeds.

Winnie the Pooh has accepted his inevitable demise.

A guy blows up after using a gun to download the moon.

Pete is accidentally implied to have lost and regrown a leg.

The zombie cult recruited a stoner with an anime mullet who'd rather play his sitar all day than do anything. He played a vital role in dismantling said cult's successor group.

Disney Dreamlight Valley...Then and Tomorrow...

I was looking at my drafts and realizing we are at the end, nearly, of the next free roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley. Realizing I am on the lookout for a next roadmap a thought came to me, we should think about where we have been and where this game could possibly be going. So, I went through my old post and found all the roadmaps I could find. Throwback!

Every time there is an update, this loading screen changes. But this is the first image most of us saw, so expectations were set up from this one. You already see characters like Scar and Walle and Stitch.

The game is released as early access launch. You have your main starting bunch but Scar is one of the first ones to join you. He is teased in the loading screen. Woody and Buzz Lightyear are next. This has us in 2022 content wise.

2022 becomes 2023. The roadmap turns more into how we know it to look like today. You get Mirabel from Encanto, Simba and Nala from The Lion King, and The Forgotten. While this game is a good mix of new and old Disney-the forgotten is the new innovative character it made for the times. Well done really.

Still in 2023 content wise, but we really start working quality of life updates in the game. The bulk of the main story is out at this point so the developers get to have fun and refine at this point. Venelope from Wreck it Ralph comes, and then Beauty and The Beast. The end of the story teases the expansion.

Here the free content timeline and the paid content timeline start to overlap a bit. Lots of people complained about the fact they had to pay for more content, but this is a business for some. The expansion isn't bad, a little slow. You get Walle before this but eve gets to join him. You get Mother Gothel before, but Rapunzel joins her from here. And of course, its not a party without...Gaston! Jafar is your big bad, who saw that coming? And my favorite so far...Oswald the Lucky Rabbit!

Catching up to the current times, at least for when this is being written. Jack Skellington comes from The Nightmare Before Christmas, they timed him well. Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. Daisy joins her boyfriend, Donald Duck. Mushu and Mulan take a break from training to hang out too. Tiana is coming up next.

As I am typing this, this is also a way to play the game-as one of us who have been playing it from the start-to play in a sense of "proper" order. I also realize, even by looking at the roadmaps-it doesn't show every door opened in the castle, or even the doors yet to be open. The opportunity for other DLC's you see when going to the first expansion.

But this game, even with being about halfway done with doors and 1/5 of the way done with expansions-is not so simple. There are in game events, star paths, and weekly/daily challenges. As the game has progressed-quality of life has changed (mostly) for the better. Some people love it, some people hate it, and some people have way more money and time to play it than I do.

What do I think is coming next? Well, Summer should see the end of the first expansion. Expansions at this point will progress the overall story along. Doors in the castle spice things up in between updates. I have often said, Disney is a modern day monopoly and owns way too much content. For the purposes of this game-any future DLC's have lots of options to pick from. We already see Remy doing a DDLV Doordash, and Tiana is all about cooking. It could add value to the game but it also easily borders on too much to do-busy work instead of relaxing.

While I appreciate that most of the characters are old school, this game is also a marketing machine for Disney's movies and other business ventures. I could see future stuff being newer content. I could also see a Marvel DLC for this game. The bigger question will be, what do they think the people want to see? Who shows up in the valley that people are willing to put their money where there mouth (or fingers typing comments) to? I know how I would answer that, what about you?

How Bruno could be implemented into “Dreamlight Valley”

This is NOT official,it’s just an idea of a Questline. How he could be implemented into the game.

SPOILER WARNING!!! (Must have Mirabel unlocked and finished her first few quests/Room quest)

One day, you find a green glowing shard on the ground, with an image of you, but the rest seems to be missing.

You ask Merlin about it and he remembers Mirabel's Uncle Bruno and that he sometimes would have visions about the future. So he sends you to Mirabel who might know more about where he is or how to contact him.

So off you go to Mirabel who sees the vision and remembers that Bruno wanted to help and see into the future because of the Forgetting. So he went to Dazzle Beach for Sand, but never came back.

You go to Dazzle Beach to find clues, where he could be and see 5 places with Rat footprints along the beach. Return to Mirabel and tell her about the footprints and she will tell you that he has lots of Rat friends and they might lead you to him. We should ask someone if they know what the rats have been up to. And who better to ask about rat business than a rat himself. Go to Remy and he tells you that he hasn’t seen a lot of Rats around lately, but he knows all his family members love cheese! So you know how to make them show up, but how do you find out where they’re coming from? So you two come up with a Rat trap . Cook the “Cheese Platter”  and build a trap with some wood and some color. (Glas vile and some flowers to make paint/ink) Place the trap and Cheese Platter on Dazzle Beach.

A cutscene will play and a rat walks to the platter and as they run away again they leave blue colored footprints.

You follow the footprints and find a Portal just like with Donald in the Forest of Valor. So you go into the Portal to follow the rest of the footprints through a twisted version of the Beach.

You find Bruno, who is very happy that the rats brought someone to save him instead of food like usual. (He would have been happy about food too, but he takes being saved over food any day)

You bring him (and his rats) back to the real Dazzle Beach and show him the vision piece, but he forgot what his vision was about, or how he even ended up in the Portal. Right now he just want so get some rest and see some familiar faces, so you bring him to Mirabel to finish the quest.

Bruno now lives in Casita with Mirabel (after all there is two beds for now) and his quest Line until level 10 will involve Updating Casita so he (and maybe other family members) can have a room and helping him remember how he ended up on the other side of the Portal and what the vision was about. 

(Twisted version of Dazzle Beach was inspired by the “Dark Ocean” from Digimon Adventures 2)

I was foraging around the Gale of Trust and found a book on the floor and it started a quest with Remy. Quest: A Taste for Literature.  I then went to the beach and overheard Donald and Daisy making up and exchanging gifts. Donald gave Daisy the finished wardrobe he made and Daisy gave him the carrot cake and all was forgiven. I talked to Daisy after and she thanked me for all my help. Quest: Trouble in Paradise (complete).
