Hello, I am Hani 💫

I am a 26-year-old young man from Gaza. The war destroyed everything I held dear; I lost my home 🏚️, my job 💼, my car 🚗, and most painfully, I lost members of my extended family. Today, I live in a tent with my younger siblings, while my father, who is unable to work, and my sick mother suffer from serious health conditions 🏥.

I used to work as a car driver 🚐, and it was my only source of income. But today, after the war destroyed everything, I no longer have a way to earn a living. Now, I spend my time seeking help from social and humanitarian organizations, but unfortunately, I have not been able to find sufficient support to alleviate the harsh conditions we are going through. 🙏

Every day, I face bitter challenges; from securing food 🍞 and medicine 💊 for my siblings to dealing with their daily fears. My father, who was once our source of strength 💪, is no longer able to work, and my mother requires constant medical care due to her chronic illness 🩺. In this situation, I try to be the only hope for my family, but I am in desperate need of your help 🤝.

I am writing to you today because we are in a critical moment. We urgently need your support to get through this crisis 🚨. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference in our lives 🌱 and can be the lifeline we need to survive this dark situation 🌑.

It is so pivitol to me that you guys know that in my nothing goes wrong ever and everyone lives all is well grieves trio au, that Bernard becomes a chef for one singular reason. He moves away to go to a chef school (I'm gonna seperate them temporarily in every au it is vital) and when he comes back opens an Italian restaurant as physically close to the Aquista headquarters as possible. I sometimes think about how the endless travel of a traveling circus has likely made the Aquato kids social skills poor and made them very lonely

Ohhhh I love that idea! I know that most circuses are actually quite social- they have traveling schools, and families usually settle down for the off-season in the same cities or towns, so kids have both new and old friends.

But I don't think the Aquatos have the typical circus experience! I think their family moves mostly on its own, maybe frequently switching between circuses for larger performances, but never staying in one place. They have too many enemies. They can't go near the big top, and wherever they are they're always set apart, always different.

I think its just so open to interpretation depending on the plot! Maybe some or all of the kids are very socially adept from meeting so many people and keeping up long-distance friendships, maybe they can always fit into a new group because they work with such diverse people.

Or maybe they're more isolated, more nervous, always having a curse hanging over their heads that no one else would understand. They stick close to each other, drive each other crazy. But who else do they have?

I imagine having a boyfriend or girlfriend would be hard for the older teens, and I remember how hard it was to keep friends after moving. It makes me think of all the ways that interacting with the interns could go!

Unpopular opinion: Elena of Avalor fandom edition! Mateo isn't the sweet dorky magician the wiki (and some fans) tends to present, he is just as competitive as (of not more than) Gabe and can be really selfish and arrogant. And he never really gets called out on his flaws or misdeeds as much as the other characters.

Yes, I'm not sure if it's my contrarian hipster brain seeing he's popular within the fandom and just doing it's natural "hype backlash" as result, or what. But my overall reaction to him is "meh" at best and low-key annoyance at worst. Maybe it's just me, but I definitely feel that whenever Elena, Naomi, Gabe, Isa, or especially Esteban are in the wrong, the narrative will have an explicit, impossible to ignore "what the hell hero" moment where they learn their lesson. But when Mateo is the one at fault, he's more likely to be met with nothing more than a brief slap on the wrist--and that's assuming he's called out for his selfishness/impulsiveness/shortsightedness at all. Which he often is not.

The Aeon that Dona bonded with the most was Ifrit, which probably is no surprise to anyone. Ifrit's Fayth recognised the passionate, yet stubborn woman, with fiery attitude that Dona that is. Despite outward appearances, Ifrit recognised the selflessness that Dona had within her. The steel facade that Dona outwardly presented, the arrogance, the sarcasm, the directness that bordered and crossed into rudeness sometimes, hid a selflessness and passion to protect the people of Spira from Sin.

Dona's passion to protect & bring happiness to the people of Spira, even at the cost of her own life, resonated with him deeply, especially considering he was a former Crusader. Ifrit is the Aeon she misses most, the one that she connected with the most deeply, out of all the Aeons she obtained.

This is Ahmed. He is a pharmacist. He used to have a pharmacy in a building in which he lived with his wife, also a pharmacist, and his 6 children. That was before it was bombed. Now he works out of a tent trying to help those who cannot get medical assistance from the overwhelmed field hospitals.

Ahmed is doing the best he can, but he wants to do more. With enough small contributions from pharmacists and those of us who know the importance of a pharmacy, Ahmed could help more people, starting with himself. He would no longer have to sleep in his tent pharmacy, separated from his family, to safeguard the medicines. He would be able to rent a space in one of the buildings that is still standing, minimally furnish it, bring his family to live with him there, acquire medicines and medical equipment, and help more people who are in desperate need of what Ahmed can provide as a pharmacist.

There are so many tragic stories and fundraising campaigns for people in Gaza. This one is yet another, but it is different because what you give will have a ripple effect. You are helping someone who is trying to help others. That is Ahmed. That is why he became a pharmacist. If you are a pharmacist or if you have ever been helped by a pharmacist or pharmacy, then you understand.

Through your donation, you directly impact Ahmed and those he helps in Gaza. Right now this is one of the most important ways any of us can ease some of their suffering.

These pictures and words cannot begin to describe the pain the city is going through. Intentional wildfires razed the city. The houses lost are between 3000 - 6000. The official death toll is 99 people and hundreds of animals but the numbers could double as many areas of debris have not been searched and some bodies may have simply been disintegrated, while also having aprox 400 people unaccounted for. The bodies left on the streets are being eaten by dogs

People burned in their homes, in their cars, in the streets. They ran but the fire ran faster. Entire families have been lost, the damage is irreparable. Stories of bravery are abundant but also are those of tragedy. oh goodness a homestuck scenario

What blood type would everyone be? Or at least the Aquatos.

First thought is indigo because clown and I have a soft spot for indigos. Second thought is violet because water and seadwellers funky. Final thought is to just say "fuck it, trolls already have a weird way of reproducing so each Aquato can be whatever blood color I want and I can say they're a found fambly group who travel together bc safety in numbers and common ground as performers" so. Augustus, Lucrecia, and Raz are all violet, Frazie & Dion are indigo, Dona & Queepie are blue, and Mirtala's fuchsia because it's fitting and funny. Little fish princess that the rest of the family adores. None of the Aquatos quite care for the hemospectrum they are just here to have a good time and perform. Frazie doesn't wear face paint but Dion does and he's obnoxious about it. Lucrecia is centuries old and very powerful but likes doting on all these obnoxious younger trolls that decided to follow her around.
