What's worse is that I'm seriously ill and also suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder because my previous campaign, which had raised nearly 15,000 euros to enable me to undergo my surgery, was deleted. Unfortunately, all donations were returned to their owners, and I created a new campaign, which has only raised 1,320 euros. This is a very small amount that would not allow me to travel and undergo my surgery as soon as possible. Please, you are my only hope for survival and treatment. what i'm begging people to understand is that a huge portion of evangelical/christians in usamerica do not genuinely and earnestly believe in their holy texts or core doctrines. for them, religion is a means to uphold white supremacy and patriarchy and they've convinced themselves it's their divine prerogative. that is what they believe. you can plead with them to "be christlike" or point out their hypocrisy until the second coming. they do not care. you can't reason with them because they are not interested in piety or morality they are interested in power and control

No way there are already articles accusing palestinians of the wildfires. I would argue that it's the fact the israelis don't wanna stop planting invasive species to make the "desert bloom" while creating a drought in the region because their settlements need their pools is the reason for the fires

every time massive wildfires break out in Israel, I just remember that the JNF (Jewish National Fund) has been planting non-native pine trees in Palestine for decades now. The JNF has been using greenwashing to disguise the colonial origins and aims of its organization. Sometimes, the trees are planted directly on top of depopulated Palestinian villages. These pine trees, being non-native to Palestine's environment, are very flammable. Just a couple things to think about while we look at the news of these wildfires.

the problem of fandom reducing characters who are women and/or people of colour to sexist/racist stereotypes is definitely aggravated by the fact that a lot of fans simply do not pay very much attention to these characters in the first place then subconsciously paper over the gaps in their perception with things they’ve been culturally conditioned to believe are true about people in the same category as said character
