Having to give away my dogs is a weird, awful experience. Cause like one part of my brain is going, "They'll cry at the door of the foster home and wonder why you aren't coming back. They'll think you abandoned them. They'll hide in a corner and they'll never hear you call their names. And you will go back home and the dog hair will slowly disappear from everything you ever wore when they sat on your lap. You will never hold them again and when they die you won't bury them."

But then the other half of my brain is like, "They'll find a place with a yard. They'll be loved again. Maybe they forget you, or maybe they don't. They will stare up at someone else and be just as loyal. They will be happy and bark and play. It is Shrödinger's cat. They are what you believe they are, so choose a good life."

And collectively we all curl up in a ball and cry, knowing there is nothing I can hold that will feel like those dogs.

We've been approved to foster!

We're going in right after work to sign all the papers. They asked if we could take her home today, but considering we're halfway through building ikea furniture and moving rooms that's not happening. Im hoping we can pick her up Friday and then be able to have the weekend helping her settle in.

My friend in Oklahoma needs help finding a home for their foster dog, Ms. Hazel!

Hello! We have been fostering Ms.Hazel for about 6 months! This super sweet girl is ready for a furrever home with lots of love and nurturing enrichment. She’s very playful, attentive, and treat motivated. She LOVES playing catch with treats and cuddles at bedtime. Hazel would be perfect in a structured home with lots of room to run. She does very well with older kids! When she’s excited, she has a tendency to be a bit jumpy, can sometimes pull on the leash but generally walks very well. Training has been going well with her and she would benefit from daily work and patience (but with her it always feels like play 😆). She’s very silly, loves to sniff flowers, eat bugs and go for car rides and long walks. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on all of her shots.

Located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Currently, Christian and their mother are too disabled to care for Hazel, and are hoping to find someone who can take over foster care or bring her home for good. Brawl roster COMPLETE, nicklauerart the original person behind these designs did an outstanding job with them all, some of them I ended up adding little details in some of them, as for the one with grim, I made him carry a sea lard from adventure time and made it dress like me Saturn from the mother series 🌟, I’m now on the homestretch of it all and now have started on the smash 4 roster and I seriously can’t wait to show them all to you!
