Danny is living with [insert DC hero of your choice,] and hangs out with the younger gen (YJ or the SuperSons) but due to retiring from the hero scene prior, he needs the rest, they hang out in civilian form and don't know much about his dealing with ghosts aside from him being Phantom and the like.

Through shenanigans the teens are put on punishment. You can't really ground a group of highly trained kids the same way you ground regular kids so they're sentenced to chaperoned hangouts ONLY. And NO your older siblings don't count batkid, they're messes. This new stipulation gets in the way of their plans and their punishment gets extended everytime they sneak out to gather without an adult. Their cries of First Amendment violations fall on deaf ears bc Batman is clearly a criminal who deserves a pillow that's warm..on both sides.

Bro I'm not even joking if they didn't both have the BaggageTM they would be. Like if Carlos didn't have all the harem drama around him with Charles in the spotlight, and George didn't have a very similar problem with Lewis, they'd be fully like the most well adjusted and happy couple on the grid, they're just so compatible in the sort of elegant elite power couple way that still know how to goof around and not take themselves too seriously while keeping focus on what's important.

Imagine an alternative version of the TLLC timeline where they can both let go of their toxic exes in peace, they'd be unstoppable fjhfbfbfbdbb George would convince Toto to sign Carlos for the '25 season after he finds out he's pregnant with Carlos' child and not try to pass it off as Toto's and they'd be winning left right and centre with that Mercedes and Toto would only notice what's going on once it's too late; that while he was fucking his sweet little reserve driver Kimi, his new driver Carlos was fucking his wife right under his nose but he's too talented to fire so he can't even do that and he can only fume at both of their unbothered success, George no longer caring about his crush on Lewis and both of them watching in their Black silver and Mint uniforms as Lewis and Charles struggle in red white and yellow. Charles would probably lose it fully if Carlos finally cut the strings attached to him and while in the actual TLLC timeline Lewis also realizes how he really fumbled the bag with George, it'd hit him even harder now watching George openly kiss Carlos as they both stand on the podium and he's fighting for scraps of points along with a deranged omega throwing glasses at the wall.

They'd definitely have more kids then too, Carlos would direct all his attention to maintaining their positions on track and in their family life: they both come fresh from broken relationships and they both need reassurance and validation from one another which they are more than happy to provide they're too logical and communicative for there to be a miscommunication issue and it's so relieving; they are definitely on the spectrum in a very similar way. People often clown on George for being too emotional the same way Carlos is very animated and they feel insecure about it until the other affirms that no they need that to be able to properly read each other and actually find it quite endearing.

They're wonderful very organised and active parents, the type to always have their meals planned out two weeks in advance and having their kids mandatorily finish their education in elite schools with top grades and an extracurricular activity for every day and weekends that aren't race days are mandatory family times they all need and find fun.

It's almost ridiculous how perfectly in sync they are and still never find the other boring, they'll go on trips and play sports together and be disgustingly satisfied and happy.

They also find each other extremely hot as well. In George's arc in the TLLC verse I'll detail it further but George does view Carlos as peak sex god which he admits when he's drunk in the hotel bar after a fight with Toto. They sort of have a heart to heart session, both just fresh out of tearful horrible fights with their partners and they try to console and reassure each other after a chance encounter.

They're both tipsy and let themselves be honest the way they can't be with others usually; Carlos admits to all the fucking around drama he's been plagued with and George tells him how his perfect marriage is rotten to the core. George sobs about neither Toto nor Lewis wanting him and in response Carlos cards his fingers through George's soft hair and traces his eyelashes with his thumb and tells him that those two are fucking idiots and they should be worshipping the ground he walks on. George chuckles but Carlos insists how he finds him is heavenly gorgeous and he's always been fascinated by his big beautiful eyes and eyelashes.

George leans into the touch and admits that he really hated seeing how Max then Lando then Charles all got to have him and he was always too devoted to Toto to try his luck because he thought marriage was sacred, but it seems to all be a lie with what a fool Toto has made out of him.

He tells him he's jealous of Carlos for fucking around without a care and Carlos admits the problem is that he does care. He cares very much. And that's why who he'll choose to marry is so difficult now because he wants to just marry them all and be a responsible father and husband. George finds his anxiety over doing his best in that territory very endearing.

They chuckle about both of them getting called out on their big eyes and George saying imagine what freaks our kids would be with their huge Bambi eyes and Carlos says he can't wait to see them like. There's no "if" there and George notices it despite being drunk. He also does the similar motion of running his fingers through Carlos' hair and touching his lashes and then his stubble saying how he likes his mouth too and how it must have felt so nice for the others to kiss. Carlos swallows and says George's lips are so goddamn pretty it's hard for him to believe Lewis would never kiss him in public they're just so built to be adored.

"If I was your husband I'd be a fucking fool to sell you out to any other alpha." Carlos thumbed at George's bottom lip, both if their eyes hazy as they took the other in; no longer tipsy on whiskey but pure lust. "Hamilton could be begging at my feet and I'd kick him to the curb and put another pup in you."

"If I was your wife I'd never complain, I'd be too busy giving you everything you'd want to let you think about looking at another omega." George sighed against his mouth and they very only a breath away now from colliding in a suffocatingly intimate way.

After three days of room service and almost nonstop fucking it's funny to have them waddle back to their actual hotel at dawn, walking along the river bank with Carlos in a rumpled shirt, suit on his arm, hair pushed back with only the help of water as he left all his hair care products back in his room, but he doesn't care, he's just smiling watching George tiptoe barefoot along the wide rail of the bridge they walk across, his black cocktail dress' strap sliding down his elegant shoulder that Carlos has decorated with bite marks extensively. He's humming a song and smiling more genuinely than he's ever seen him before and when his stability falters, Carlos is right there to catch him by the hand and tell him:

"I got you."

And George for the first time feels like these words are not an empty promise.

When he learns he's pregnant he's secretly hoping for it to be Carlos' baby, and he's so happy when it is.

just finished New X-Men (2001). wooh. very good near the end (didn't like the Magneto/Xorn characterization but it was also how he acted in eve of destruction so it's not inconsistent that way), but overall is failed to hold itself up as a run. imo. there were wonderful moments and arcs (murder at the mansion!!!) but overall it's just a jumble of ideas and plot threads and arcs that feel like they should be resolved but never are. it could have been so good nad some of it is so good but as a run it falls flat. it could have been tied together much better, because as is it just feels like they loosely tied some story concepts together. idk. good but not as a run.
