#this was about shows in general but dw is on my mind #like the new season was so fawking good but oh my god it's so heavy. hrgh #I know this isnt the fault of the ppl making the show it's just that fucking everything has to be 8 episodes now #well stop!!!! please!!!!!!!!! aaaa!!!!!!!!#15 clearly going thru it yelling and crying in the upcoming christmas special WOULD be exciting but that's also the #plot of every single episode in the preceding season...#i dont think him being miserable at christmas is bad in fact it's great. im saying the absence of the #5 episodes that would've been 0 stakes fun adventures is making itself very very felt and obvious #like imagine season 4 which is already pretty much just unending misery WITHOUT the few fun fillers we get. lethal and #not in a good way. sometimes you need to breathe!!!#that does not excuse pl.anet of the d.ead being ass but yknow. at least it doesn't make me cry for an hour #doctor who #dw text #barking

television drastically shortening the amount of episodes for shows really is ruining what would otherwise be Good stories because i feel like most of the complaints this new season of doctor who is receiving are due to things that could've been fixed by articulation and lengthier build-up

I have a crack doctor who headcannon that's going to live in my head (and any possible fanfiction)

The Doctor has(had?) a son. The Master has (had?) a daughter. Those two got married and had a daughter, Susan.

The rivalry started when Susan decided to join the Doctor over the Master. They're too far into it they cannot confess how silly it started.

(In between conquering worlds and saving them, the two of them are best friends who will catch up. They're best friends. The Doctor's not pure good, the Masters not pure bad)

(Susan didn't recognize the Master in the 5 Doctor's cause she didn't know the Master puts on the air of an evil mastermind. He was always a fun grandad.)
