Oof. So, this was mostly meant to be a chapter so you could all (hopefully) see the kind of story this is going to be! I think I'm getting a good hold on how I wanna do some things, and in the making of this first chapter, I definitely set many things in stone in regards of the plot.

I don't really know how fast the updates are, but I do hope to keep a better, regular rhythm to posting. I'm also trying not to push myself too much into working to not risk getting burnt out.

Rick Jones and Marlo Chandler prepare for their wedding by going on their night outs on separate parties. Marlo Chandler, along with her mother and Betty Ross, go for a girls night out on a Bachelorette Party with She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Lyja the Skrull, Scarlet Witch and Crystal. Whereas Rick Jones has a bachelor night with Hulk, Captain America, Vision, Quicksilver, Doc Samson, Silver Surfer, Ben Grimm, Iron Man, War Machine, Namor and his old friends from the Teen Brigade.

In the veterans hall, Rick's bachelor party is in full swing. As the Hulk's allies and superheroes converse with each other, members of the Teen Brigade spike the punch. Suddenly, the party is crashed by a costumed woman calling herself the Ecdysiast, hired for the party. Captain America thinks he hired a magician, but is quickly horrified to discover that she is actually a stripper when she shows herself off to Rick. Hulk tells Captain America not to tell Betty about this, wondering what she would think about such objectification of the human body. However, the ladies have all gone to a male strip club where they are having a wild time. Suddenly, the party is crashed by some armed gunmen who have come to rob the patrons. Their mistake, however, is in choosing the night the club is full of female superheroes. Later that night, Rick's party quiets down for the screening of an adult film. After the Vision uses his powers to fix the projector, they are all in for a surprise when the woman in the film turns out to be Rick's bride-to-be.

I know this is their great moment of coming to an understanding or whatever and not for the first time, I find myself desperately wishing for a Sailor Moon that is allowed a more complex and arc-based approach to literally everything but especially the relationships between the senshi, and specifically for more space for them to not really be resolved. (PGSM is far and away the best of the exisiting options)

I love that they compete! But I want them to continue to have friction forever. We see so many ways in S that Haruka and Michiru can be people who are hard to get along with, and I want that to play through! With Rei also, but she's not appearing in this picture, so we won't spend too much time talking about her. Sailor Moon, is, at core, about a group of people conscripted into the same platoon. There should be issues of personality! Even among the inners!

It's nice to finally have myself be happy with my hair again. Like, geez.. you never realize how good you had it till it's actually gone. And I do mean that.. lol

I was suffering through extreme hair loss all my life, but I was always told it was many things; the main two being the fact my curly hair was so thick that large chunks had to fall out all the way to a possible thyroid issue.

Spoiler alert: none of that was true.. lol What it was was severe anemia.

And boi did that stuff nearly lay me flat. It started to go after my hair because it was better than going after my organs. But that doesn't mean I don't suffer from slight brain damage now no thanks to the lack of oxygen my body was getting for many years.

Nearly losing all my hair to nerve damage and what not--it took me having to self-diagnose just to find the issue.

After 4 years of taking iron pills, I finally have my hair back to normal. My motor functions are still a bit weak but I'll blame the C virus for exacerbating that.

Normally, I wouldn't care what my hair looked like, but sadly, I have a narcissist for an adopted guardian who nearly caused me to die from an eating disorder years ago. So yeah. I couldn't afford to ever have her see me looking less than perfect.

But it sure is nice to have my hair coming back in thick again.

why do her friends call her needles

WELL- it's mostly a joke about her day job as an acupuncturist... but also a nod to her night-life serial killer interests. Her signature is to use acupuncture to keep her victims immobile while she effectively tortures them. That being said, her night life activities are kept on a short leash due to her role in the Wall's underground as an emergency doctor and amature psychiatrist- amature meaning she practices, but doesn't have an official degree. And she's actually rather successful.

Needles and her husband "Doc" (Hope Greyson, an ex-research scientist who lost his practice due to experimenting on patients) are basically one of the underground's two-person team for emergency medical attention in Brandt (one of the provinces of the Wall), and who you go to if you have a particularly weird case. And despite their urges, they both keep eachother in check... Doc experimenting on Needle's victims gives them both more than enough satisfaction without going so far that they get caught. Afterall, he gets people to experiment with but she has to be very picky so can't just go after any ol person to satisfy his needs. They're our crazy mad-scientist-serial-killer duo.

Anyway, she actually likes the nickname better than her given one; Carmen Pointer. Enjoy a rough concept
