In Maryland: Meet Toby!

He's a 5yo Doby/ Hound mix who has lost his home due to unfortunate family circumstances!

Toby is a vet sweet, extremely timid pup.

He would do best in an adult female household due to his past along with a structured routine including daily walks, and a yard to play in! He has not lived with children.

He has lived with two other dogs and is a dog friendly pup! Due to his shyness, he would do best with people that can work well with a very shy dog.

His annual vetting is up to date.

Bruno- 2 years, altered male, 116lbs

Meet Bruno, a dog who's as friendly as he is brave, smart, and loyal. He's a fan of attention and is fully housebroken. Bruno's not just a dog; he's a character, a partner in crime, and a loyal friend. His love for adventure is only matched by his love for his future family. If you're looking for a dog with a personality as big as his heart, Bruno's your guy!

2-yard-old Bruno was surrendered to our shelter due to no fault of his own, but because his family was evicted. He has been described him as lovable, enjoys walks and treats, and likes played with stuffed animal toys. He has been exposed to children of all ages and reportedly done well, and his is also housebroken and able to be crated when needed.

Bruno's former family noted that he does not do well with strangers outside of the house and is protective. He was also notably quite stressed and anxious when he arrived in our care, pacing and whining quite a bit. Overall, though, he behaved well for his whole intake exam according to our vet staff, and has been great with other staff and volunteers since he arrived in our care several weeks ago.

When tested off-leash in the shelter's play yard, Bruno was a bit stiff when meeting other dogs at first, but was generally very playful and bouncy, so we think he may do well in a future home with other gentle and respectful pals.

Currently, Bruno is being treated for an upper respiratory infection and is also on gabapentin and trazodone for kennel stress.

Bruno is available immediately for rescue pick-up.
