I designed this version of Varian to be kind of a ✨ wandering scholar ✨ He and Ruddiger are travelling the overworld, getting into trouble and stealing apples, lol. I don’t imagine he actually has much magic himself, though whatever power he has, he likes to imbue into objects. If this was, like, an RPG, I can see Varian having moves that inflict damage and/or status affects through his alchemy and automatons. He���s probably more clever than he is strong, with his physical attacks being ranged and using his good aim to make critical hits.

My new icon! My DMsona? Who ended up being a literal cat. Vaguely based on both of my current pets who like to sit in my spot and/or mess with (read: roll) my dice when I get up for bathroom breaks...

not sure if youre asking what that is or if you want more info but

tldr a dndsona is a reimagining of yourself/your persona in the dungeons and dragons universe. usually idealized obvs

mine is Fawkes, a tiefling ranger, werewolf ofc. heres the heroforge mini cuz i havent finished a ref yet

their fur/hair is black at the roots and lightens to grey at the tips and they dye their hair for funsies and to match their companions fur. in their werewolf form they still have hooves and horns! really gotta draw that

theyre nomadic, living mostly off the land but stopping at populated places often to trade. theyre chaotic good and often check out quest boards or whatever to help people out.

they also have a tendency to throw caution to the wind and do unsafe stuff cuz they figure theyll be fine dw about it. when in a group, their party members often have to stop them from doing stupid things like going to pet the gremishka (rip my bg3 party, at least my bfs tav is a paladin). they do have dubious morals tho, will absolutely steal things, isnt against justifiable murder (killing slavers), and is overall just kind of a freak. theyre friendly tho! just like a really weird but nice stray dog.

Vamptober 2023: Day 1

I welcome you to this year's Vamptober! In which I spend the entirety of the month drawing vampires! Beginning once more with my own 'sona, bending the very forces of shadow and blood under a sanguine moon~

This year foresees some old faces made anew, focused still on the humanoids of TTRPGs, and perhaps even a surprise or two from established media.

Back on my usual shit of designing DND characters; this time a self-insert. A DNDsona if you will. Super happy with how it came out TBH. Fun fact about him; he spends so much time in his Wildshape, it's started to bleed over into his Humanoid features (elongated nails, more hair growth, gray hair etc). People have accused him of being a lycanthrope and he really doesn't help by proclaiming he's not, he just spends a lot of time as a wolf. Sounds like the same thing buddy.
