1. How many works do you have on AO3? 16

2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 93,923

3. What fandoms do you write for? Solely Red, White & Royal Blue at the moment, but my AO3 also has works for The Sandman. I have been thinking Dead Boy Detectives thoughts but I don't feel confident enough in the voices to jump in, so.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I do! Sometimes it takes me a long time, though. I reply because I post my stories in the hope that someone will enjoy them; getting confirmation of that in comment form is something that I am thankful for and really appreciate about sharing creative endeavors. Also, I just love talking about the story!

5. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of, no.

6. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope! Sounds fun, would try.

7. What’s your all-time favourite ship? Nope! No favorites here.

8. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue, I like to think. Banter, but also just conversations, generally speaking. (Pun intended.) Humor. Depicting modernity in a kind of surreal but relatable way?

9. What are your writing weaknesses? Explicit introspection. I do a bit of it, but I tend to try to lead readers in the direction of characters' thoughts through their actions and what they're saying. It probably doesn't always work. Detailed descriptions are also not something that I write much; I'll happily read them, but I don’t often want to write them. Also: making decisions about plot, gross, ugh, not for me.

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.

to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:

This... this is a whole different kind of psychic damage here. When nightmares got Marcille, we get to knew that her's biggest fear is outliving her friends. This isn't even canon probably, but look at this. This isn't a "I don't want my friends to die" kind of dream. This is a "I'm terrified of loosing my daughters, of something killing them, and being incapable of stopping it" kind of dream. It's so simple yet it explains perfectly the whole of chilchucks character. He loves, he cares, deeply. But he, or doesn't acknowledges, or doesn't know what to do with that knowledge.

Besides that. Someone had to wake him up after this. Imagine the devastation in this man after he wakes up. He just saw his three little babys murdered corpses (or maybe he saw them die, wich isn't better). He would possibly not talk about it, and that would worry the hell out of the party, because we'll, they see him all down and only one of them knows what he saw. Imagine being the one to pull him from that nightmare. Seeing this man, usually so composed, fuking staring with tears and terror in his eyes to the composes of what you can only assume are his daughters. It would be heartwrenching.

One of the clearest scenes in my head is the one in Henry's B&B in Seattle. I thought it was a little tricky to write, tone-wise, but I can see it so well and this line really hits it:

"After, sound rushes back to him all at once, and feeling, too: the sticky warmth of Henry’s chest and stomach pressed against his own, Henry’s stuttered breaths near his ear, a car blasting Lil Jon as it cruises by outside."

Because yes, yes indeed, that car driving by outside is in fact playing "Get Low." As it should be. It's what they deserve!!

I love merthur and i love destiel too, and I added that scene from spn to make a comparison between the two ships. It wasn't meant to take anything away from the original post, but my intention was to give it a new light in addition (as people do on this site) by drawing a parallel with another piece of media. A lot of destiel fans love merthur too and i thought the op could get more reblogs and likes on their gif this way (reaching another fandom too).

I know how to make my own posts, I did plenty of them, actually.

What i don't know how to do is gifs, and i have deep appreciation for people who make them, and it is my understanding that they like exposure for their posts, so that their hard work can reach more people.

This is why i reblogged it.

My tags on the reblog were about both ships, i didn't deviate from the original post ignoring it to only talk about another ship (which would've been rude), so i didn't think it could be offensive in any way.

Thank you for the asks, Grace! Okay, I'm going to get sincere and earnest on main here for a second.

I'm not a happy-go-lucky person (understatement!), but levity and laughter and joy (big joys and and small ones) are extremely important to me! I love that about myself.

Because these things are so important to me, I often try to share them with other people, too.

It doesn't always work! Not everyone is used to silliness. Not everyone enjoys it. Some people don't expect it from me, possibly because I'm quote-unquote reasonable and cautious, or they don't think it's possible to be both serious and silly.

If it all amounts to the same thing, though, I'd much rather live silly than live straight-faced. It brings me joy! 💖
