Hey there!

First of all, it's perfectly alright to be shy. I'm not going anywhere any time soon, so whenever you feel comfortable enough to reach out, I'll be right here. 😁 I promise I don't bark or bite. 😝

As for how to approach me, there are two ways to do that if we're not mutuals yet: DMs and the askbox. Both are open to everyone, anons included, and you're more than welcome to communicate with me through these. If we vibe and I think our muses can mesh, I'll follow you. If we're already mutuals, I'm open to discuss and plot whatever ideas, AUs and so on that you have in mind. If I'll have any myself, I'll try to throw them at you, too. I try to post some memes and prompts every day, and everything I post under the memes tag, no matter how old it is, I'm still accepting. You can also like starter calls or meme calls whenever I post them.

An Introduction

Hi! Hello! I got a big influx of followers the other day so it seemed like the appropriate time to finally make a ‘proper’ intro post!

I’m Dragona (or Sarah, if you prefer, though I don’t mind which you use). I’m mostly a fanfiction writer, but I do dabble in digital art, cross-stitch, and polymer clay. I hope to get into book binding and resin art soon so look forward to that!

I mostly consider this a ‘multi-fandom’ blog, but I hyperfixate really damn hard so it might as well be a Good Omens blog with the occasional other fandom reblog thrown in the mix. I also post about the D&D sessions I run for my friends and pictures of my cats!

I am an adult and as such there will be the occasional mature content. If such things make you uncomfortable, I tag all ‘spicy’ content with ‘nsft’. Speaking of tags, my art tag is ‘dragon does art’.

I also volunteer as a Tag Wrangler for AO3. What's a Tag Wrangler? Well, a wrangler is a real human person (as opposed to an algorithm) who takes tags YOU make on AO3 and makes sure they are attatched to an appropriate canonical tag for filtering and searching! All our tags are handled by actual people who love fandom as much as you do (we just also reeaaally like sorting things too 😁).

All characters I write are aged up to 18+, so I will not write anything set in UA. This blog is almost entirely NSFW and featuring very dark themes, so minors DNI. 

General Information

Yes, this is a dark yandere blog. No, I do not condone any of this in real life. If you need me to tag anything, then let me know and I’ll be happy to do it.

Not spoiler free, so please blacklist #bnha manga spoilers or #jjk manga spoilers if you don’t want to see them.

I mostly write full fics or shorter scenarios/drabbles.

Almost entirely NSFW, with some SFW yandere thrown in.  I am generally too thirsty for SFW and trust me, you don’t want me writing soft romantic fluff. 

All my stuff will be x Reader, so no OCs or Character x Character unless it’s a threesome including reader. Also only feel confident writing female readers, so no male readers.

How do you decide what asks to answer?

Honestly? I have no real definitive system. Whatever instantly inspires the muse and the cooch tends to get answered first.

Why hasn’t my ask been answered?

It might have went against my rules and been deleted, or it might not have had enough detail and/or didn’t inspire my muse and was deleted. Might also have been held back because it REALLY inspired my muse and I want to do a longer thing with it. But the most likely reason is that I get a lot of asks a day and I just haven’t gotten to it yet.

before we start here’s rule number one  - this is fanfiction, this is a hobby, you are here for funsies so please please please be indulgent. write for yourself. of course we want something we create to be good but you need to love it first so don’t worry about other people’s opinions. be indulgent. write what you think is sexy, i guarantee there are people who will agree with you 110%

if you gotta go find porn go find porn ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just make it good. it can really help with describing a position or reactions

also just read lots of good smutty fanfic you enjoy. pick it apart, though not in a nasty way, in an exploring way. learn to go oh that sentence was good or i liked that word. work out why it flows for you. we’re obviously not talking about lifting anything, instead it can help build your metacognition  - it can be easier to analyse someone else’s writing than you own

it can also be really helpful if you haven’t got anyone to bounce ideas off of at the time

write it when you’re feeling it! this can be said about a lot of writing but i find it especially true for smut. otherwise you might just end up going this is not sexy at all and end up hating it not talking from experience at all

if you get this way take a step back and come look at it another time. if you’re really in a rut over it let the whole thing be for a bit, you haven’t got a deadline. play with something else or step away from writing completely

write it as you write anything else - outline it. give yourself some framework to work first and foremost

make the first draft basic and don’t worry about it being sexy, we gotta get the choreography down first!

it can be as simple as he did this, she did that, this was the reaction

maybe add the mood for this is x, particularly if the dialogue isn’t coming to you

an alternative method is to write all the dialogue first then fill in the gaps. dialogue gives mood and one line of dialogue can set the entire mood. it can be really helpful but understandably it doesn’t always come

you don’t have to write everything in order. get your outline and then write the parts that are speaking to you at the time. sure you may have to play a bit of joining the dots but i always feel the parts are better than if i’d forced myself to write a whole chunk i didn’t feel like writing

for this purpose it makes it easier to have your framework split into bite sized pieces. i find this tends to comes naturally, especially when you latch onto one particular part or another. for example if you’re doing your ezra/reader/din series then this section is din’s part, this section is ezra’s etc. different characters play by different rules. maybe you’re feeling like writing din, maybe not. make it easier for yourself

as with all writing if you find yourself stuck on a section fill it with the most basic summary of that part you can and move on. as one of my favourite authors said, write it badly, just get the idea out of your head and let it be good later. something to work on is waaaay better than nothing so let it be something.

you’re going to find your own style but it’s a good idea to work in drafts i.e. let the whole thing be garbage and then go over it. anything creative is a process, let it be

so it’s time to make it sexy? write what works for you. it’s that simple and that complicated :’) don’t be afraid to use lots of references and crack out that thesaurus. changing one word can change the whole mood so play with it.

an excellent resource i’ve found for writing smut is here and although it’s not always specifically smut related i do have a tag for writing here

don’t be afraid to make it more realistic

i know i know fanfic smut is all about that fantasy and the sex is always amazing but you don’t have to jump straight into the good stuff. they don’t have to cum within 5 seconds and you don’t have to ignore the foreplay. there’s a line between realistic and pure fantasy and i think thats where the best stuff is written

if you’re comfortable find someone to beta it for you and decide how you want them to beta it - do you want them to make suggestions? actively make corrections? are they doing a grammar check or more a read of the feel of it all? i find it can help asking someone to check a specific thing instead of the whole thing

also remember that ideas can always spiral off when you’re writing and smut is no different. i’ve written what was supposed to be pwp and suddenly it’s developed plot. i’ve had a one line idea that develops in a whole new direction. allow space for it to grow. accept that you might write something and find yourself going off in a different direction. be willing to explore the idea. i’ve been known to work on 2 versions of something just to find out which one i prefer. i also like to use strikethrough instead of straight up deleting stuff in case i want to revisit it. you can find some of your best work in being fluid in your approach.

So, this is something I can heavily relate to. I have a lot of anxiety issues, and tend to panic when I first try and talk to people. Honestly, it’s something that can last for a while. It can just as easily disappear in no time and there’s... Not really a set way for me to know how quickly I’ll get over it?

I know it can be really hard to reach out when dealing with anxiety and wanting to make new friends, but I promise I don’t bite! Anytime you want to give me a poke, or just pop into my askbox or DMs and tell me about your OC I will always welcome it. I know that doesn’t solve anything, but maybe it will help a little.
