Making your own religion
Thinking real hard about fully committing myself into making my own religion. With my own gods, rituals, scripture. I wonder who else has done this?
I have already developed my own personal god, was mainly thinking about expanding that into a fully fleshed religion. Should I? How could I like give it power?
I'm interested if anyone else has done this or knows of resources about this :3

little more work on the diy deity guide (literally forgot which account had the document oops)
I'm curious about other people's interactions with spirits! Has a spirit ever defined itself or given a label? Most of the spirits I contact are pretty loose or generally uninterested with labels lol

. : Introduction to the Hidden Grove : .
So I never really connected with any form of fair folk. However, we don’t know much about the nordic elves. This was how I created the idea of the hidden grove.
Most classifications of Fae are good and evil fae. However, since the fae are nature spirits, I never really understood that. So my classifications are the ‘Order Court’ and the ‘Wilderness Court’. They both represent the balance and chaos of nature.
Archelves are the ‘deities’ of this pantheon. They are rulers and have god-like powers. They have attendants who share some influence with them, and children that are heirs to their power.
The Order court represent the laws of nature. They are the balance keepers of the natural world, and are very formal.
The Wilderness court represent the wild sides of nature. They are the ups and downs of the natural world, and can be mischievous.
I’ll be making guides to the archelves, their children, and their attendants and how to work with them! As with many fae-like beings, be sure to use etiquette when interacting with them.
Thanks for reading!
xx
~ Sam

creating a sacred space at home

my sacred space is in my room, but it’s a dedicated area for prayer, meditation, and spiritual work. i’ve made it a place of peace and devotion, where i can connect with god and the saints, but a sacred space can be personal to you. (whether it’s just for yourself, for any deity, or for general spiritual practice.)
in my space, i include smudge sticks, incense, candles, crystals, and statues, all arranged with intention and care. i also keep sacred oil and water in little porcelain bowls, which i regularly change to keep the energy fresh. a corner of my table is reserved for writing and reading sacred texts, doing tarot or oracle readings, working with pendulums, manifesting, or simply reflecting.
here are some easy tips i used in my sacred place that you can also use for yours:
⏾ choose a dedicated spot: it doesn’t have to be big, just a small table, a shelf, or even a windowsill can work. the important thing is that it feels special and undisturbed.
⏾ decorate with intention: add objects that hold meaning for you, whether it’s candles, crystals, statues, or items that represent your spiritual beliefs.
⏾ use scents for energy cleansing: incense, essential oils, or smudging herbs like sage and palo santo help clear negative energy and create a calming atmosphere.
⏾ keep sacred elements: water, oil, or even a small bowl of salt can help ground and purify the space. regularly refreshing them maintains the energy.
⏾ have a space for reflection: include a journal, sacred texts, or divination tools like tarot cards or pendulums to connect deeper with yourself and your practice.
having a dedicated area helps deepen your spiritual connection and brings a sense of peace to your daily life. hope this helped!
Serenity ⏾

I've been working with the Goddess Selene lately so I decided to create a piece in her honor. I think she must've liked it because she gave me a very clear sign that I'm on the right path. The frame is made of polymer clay and the medium I used to paint was acrylic as well as nail polish for a glittery coat. All done on cardboard. What are some of your favourite creations to you deities? ⭐️💫🌙

The 4 aspects of Danéh
Danéh is my main deity, he is the god of being myself. As such I've seen four aspects of him that I decided to represent through these moodboards. May these be digital offerings for them 🌸
1. Danéh the Disarmer
Wisdom, Mental peace, Health, Philosophy, Work and Ruling are their domains.

2. Danéh the Dark One
Rest, Sleep, Change and Death are their domains.

3. Danéh the Liberator
Freedom in all areas, Independence, Love, Merry, Emotions, Sexuality and Joy are their domains.

4. Danéh the Comrade
Strength, Fighting for what's right, Compassion, Justice, Athleticism and Nature are their domains.

I have drawn each of the aspects before, so here's them all together
CW: Blood
In order from left to right, top to bottom
1. Danéh the Disarmer
2. Danéh the Dark One
3. Danéh the Liberator
4. Danéh the Comrade
also, fun fact! I had also made names for each aspect: the Disarmer is Mané, the Dark One is Fós, the Liberator is Niél and the Comrade is Éda. Though I haven't used them because I felt like it divided Danéh too much to have names for each aspect of him

Due to a disagreement with Queseldar, High priest of the wilderness court, He fought on the front lines in the Sundering of Chaos and Order. Both as a great battle-strategist and a warrior. The Sundering eventually revealed the now homeland of the Archelves and Elves: Elldaeria, The Hidden Grove. He climbed upon His throne, and was declared High Priest of the Order Court. This marked the end of the Sundering of Chaos and Order
He coupled with Tarrenia, High Priestess of the Order Court. The pair have two children that are the heirs to their powers.
