Nightwing adopting a kid

I'm thinking up a little comic regarding Nightwing/Richard Grayson adopting a kid whose parents unalived in a terrible fire half a year after Batman himself unalived. How do you think he'd react to finding the kid and his struggle in choosing to look after her or not?

Only for Alina to come along as aphs biological child, and suddenly she's the most specialist, most important kid of all of aphmaus children?

Ok, so there is a scene in my head and I could never finish imaging. This is the backstory of the scene (It happened in s6, when Ian and Caleb were still in relationship):

One day Ian was invited by Caleb to a morden art show with his sculpture work on exhibition. Ian was actually not a fan of this kind of art so at some point he sneaked out and found another show on display in the same building. Before he casually walked in, Ian didn't realized the show is about an art therapy project for prisoners, until he saw that one piece of art that immediately caught his eyes. He knew who did this one, he knew the artist, it's him. When he looked at the label underneath the painting, it said Mikhailo Aleksandr Milkovich.

The scene in my mind is when Ian looking at this painting, with his back to us.

And what keeps me from finishing the scene in my head, is the content of the painting. What is in this painting? I could never decide…

i have a small theory about the fairies in benandholly

When it comes to elves we think of them as hard working, smart and positive creatures but for fairy it is the opposite they are described as lazy and...kinda useless? in general, fairies has negative things in it which makes me feel suspicious of them

and i think fairies need more information than just being useless creatures without magic, in my theory fairies are actually intelligent as evidenced by the complex spells they create.trust me it's not easy to master magic..

Fairies can be very good at hiding secrets, even emotions, and they can also be very quiet not noisy like elves. If elves are usually active in the morning so I guess fairies will be more active in the evening

I have some examples like: Queen Thistle and King Thistle. I have a feeling there is MORE to both of them than what we see in the show .At small moments they even use magic without using magic wands?!

I'm really not sure if the author did it on purpose or for some other reason? but yeah thats my theory abt fairies

Conclusion: Fairies are not as simple as we think hehe

Welp, here’s another Mouthwashing post bc I have some thoughts™️ that are definitely controversial

I don’t think that AUs where Anya keeps the baby are bad. I think they’re unrealistic given the context of the story and the fact that they are stranded in outer space (and without medical supplies). Realistically, even if she had survived her suicide attempt, the stress of being stranded on the Tuplar most likely would have caused her to miscarry. That being said, in the context of Anya’s character I don’t think it’s an unreasonable assumption. She is shown as a kind, playful, compassionate character when we see her from Curly’s POV and it’s not unreasonable to assume that in different circumstances she may have wanted to have the child. I feel like the decision could have gone either way, given what we know about her. While most people agree she would have terminated the pregnancy, and while that is a valid interpretation, I feel as though the fandom at large is refusing to acknowledge the nuance of the situation. that’s not to say that every AU where Anya keeps the baby is masterfully written, however, having the only acceptable happy ending AU be one were Anya gets an abortion misses the point of her character entirely. When Jimmy assaults Anya, he removes her agency completely. I find this ironic in the sense that the majority of the fan base has decided that the only way Anya could truly be happy is to not have the baby. To me this seems like just another way agency is stripped from her. I feel like the fandom ignores that aspect in favor of chewing our people with differing views on Anya’s assault and the resulting pregnancy. As an assault victim myself who was in a similar situation to Anya, it saddens me to see that people are sticking to this one dimensional idea of what Anya’s happiness should look like. Anyways, I would love to hear Tumblr’s thoughts on the matter as opposed to Twitter’s. I would just like to have an open discussion about this without a slew of harassment following…

I'm gonna have an aneurysm trying to understand mandalorians age.

It appears that the easiest one by far is Jango – he's well known and has a distinct birth date. I still can't see him being 14 at the time of Jaster's death purely because of the comics (love art in it a lot but he looks like he can legally drink come on), but it's a fact.

Jaster seems to be in his mid-life crisis. I don't know a lot about Concord Dawn but I highly doubt that he could become a Journeyman Protector younger than in his 20s. Then he had to work some time before being exiled, then spend uncounted amount of years fighting with mandalorians until around 60 BBY he became Mand'alor. His death being in 52 BBY makes him at least 35.

Montross is just ancient.

Silas is causing me so much headache. As we know, art in comics shouldn't be something we rely on (unfortunately), so his young adult appearance may be not true. He joined mandalorians 6 years before Jaster's death (making it 58 BBY), but mandalorians don't seem to have age regulations about who can join them, so it's not really helpful. Silas admires Jango, calling him "the greatest mandalorian who ever lived" and following his commanding. In the wookiepedia, Jango also described as his mentor. Now that is interesting, because Jango himself is 14 in that moment. I don't think that age really matters in mandalorian almost non-existent hierarchy, but being someone's mentor is a lot more than just a commander. Which makes Silas around the same age as Jango or not a lot older. I see him being 18-20, judging by his personality and relationships with others.

Kal Skirata thank you for existing and being such a good person with established birth date. He was born in 82 BBY, and at the time of Jaster's death it makes him 30. Nice and simple. Silas, take notes.

Myles... Myles is a mystery flavour, you see. While writing this I had to go and read Open Season for the fifth time (what am I doing with my life) to clear my memory and yes, he shows up only in 3rd comics, where Jango is clearly older. There are other mandalorians with blue armour in previous comics, but we don't have any confirmation that this is Myles and not some random dude with similar appearance. It's interesting, because a lot of fanfiction that I've read included Myles under Jaster's command or even as his right hand. I see him being older than Jango, maybe 20-25 around 52 BBY

Hola gaby sabes si si somos bienvenidos aquí? Me toco ver que hay algunos diciendo que esperan que no duremos y nos vayamos y me siento algo inseguro ahora de hacer mi cuenta porque no quiero incomodar a los de aqui pero no se si tu sepas más

Cómo en todas las aplicaciones obviamente hay diferentes opiniones, pero yo he visto personas dándonos la bienvenida, por lo que me explicaron los de Tumblr y Twitter tienen historia puesto que son dos personalidades completamente opuestas, aquí no soportan el odio por odiar, cosa que sucede seguido en Twitter, entonces me imagino algunas personas sólo no quieren que no respetemos a su comunidad y vengamos a causar problemas, una reacción normal si lo piensas.

Pero he visto muchas personas dándonos la bienvenida, sólo nos piden que respetemos sus reglas y nos dan avisos de cosas que podemos hacer y cosas que no, es cuestión de adaptarse a una nueva comunidad paso a paso.

Confession: I’ve never been able to finish BoB after watching ep 4

The part where the female conspirators were being publicly humiliated really upset me. I mean, does anyone really think that whatever happened between those women and the German soldiers was TRULY consensual? If a soldier from an enemy nation that is currently occupying your country says that they want to sleep with you would you feel safe enough to say no? Especially knowing how said nation treats those who oppose its rule and also just how women are treated during times of war. Or maybe they did what they thought was best in order to protect their friends and family. The fact the no one did anything while that was happening infuriated me. I watched the rest of the episode but I couldn’t find myself feeling for or respecting any of the characters. I figured I just needed some time to process my emotions but it’s been a while now and I still can’t get over it. I know we can’t really know what was going on in these guys’ heads. I know men thought differently about women back then than they do now. I know this is a war show and war is ugly. But I just can’t move on. I’m sure some of you think I’m being too sensitive but I just needed to get my thoughts and feelings out about this cause I really don’t have anyone else to talk to this about.

I’m confused on why you phrased this as though those are two contradicting statements, but whatever.

And yes, I am mad that half the fandom see the Demi-gods (including Marika/Radagon) as evil just for the sake of being evil because none of them are. Malenia nuked Caelid to further her brothers plans because she loved and trusted him. Ranni slayed Godwyn to be free of her Two Fingers in the hopes that later on she could banish the Greater Wills influence from the Lands Between permanently. Miquella brainwashed Mogh and Radahn (and sacrificed many other people) to achieve godhood and bring opon what he thought would be a kinder age for everyone. Etc etc. NONE of them are good people of course, but they are still morally complex characters and we should treat them as such.

And the “Ranni would stab you in the back” is just wrong? Ranni is never an antagonist to the player, even if you are on the side of the Golden Order. Ranni slayed Godwyn out of necessity. She had to, to kill her mortal flesh. Godwyn was the best choice to do this because he would’ve been her greatest obstacle, a Demi-god loyal to the Golden Order. She never once tries to fight the player no matter what route you take.

Thoughts on Hooky-Marionetta. Some spoilers!

I know it probaly won't happen, but I would love to see the characters from Hooky interact with the characters from Marionetta. There are so many possibilities, but the ones I'd enjoy the most are:

Since Dani and Nico are spreading the word and building new bridges between people and witches, I'd love to see them interact with the members of the circus during this time in the story, but I'd especially like to see them interact with Sahed, Rainah and Julia.

I'd also be curious to see Dorian and Sahed interact, since, if I can recall correctly, Dorian had a lot of inner conflict about how he felt about non-magic users, and he had a lot of trouble making friends outside the people from home, which reminds me a little of Sahed in this way. Things weren't so black and white in regards to racial relations in Hooky, both did terrible things and sought revenge against the other, perpetuating a loop of voilence. I t's been a while since I read the series, but I'm making my way back through. Anyway, this is just all to say I remember it being really hard on Dorian to realize that yes, there are terrible non-magic users, but there are also terrible witches, and you really have to judge each person individually and not hold them accountable for the sins of others. You catch more flies with honey than with vinagar, so to say. Maybe knowing Dorian was coming from a somewhat similar place would help Sahed learn how to convince the other circus members to see the plight of his people.

I would love for Julia to get to talk to Monica and Will. I think there's a lot they could share with her that would help. Monica had prejudice against the witches initially, and she overcame it, even becoming a witch herself. Will grew up with suffocating expectations and sense of duty, both to his father and kingdom. They both know what expecting an arranged marriage is like. They know what it's like to fall in love with someone who would be very difficult to be with due to the social tensions and wars being fought between their races.

On a lighter topic, I think Monica would totally get into the shipping! I remember her trying to be her friends wing-woman, and her advice always seemed to fall flat, if not cause disaster (the love potion, telling Nico to button his shirt). She would definitely get into all kinds of romantic high jinks. Her and William's marriage situation also might give Julia a heart attack.

I'll bet Kamille would love to go adventuring with Mark and Aisha.

These are just my personal thoughts and opinions. These are just a few that have crossed my mind. There would be lighter interactions too, I think, but these are the ones that my brain has been latching onto. I'd be interested in hearing anyone else's if they felt like sharing!
