Fashion in the city.

Yesterday my fellow class mates from Plymouth College of Art and I were given the opportunity to dress the shop window of Skechers shoe shop as part of a competition.Planning and decorating the window was a great experience as it consisted of working together as a team with new people.All of our ideas brainstormed out onto the page and by the end we came to an idea of keeping it simple but eye catching with different coloured bright metallic baloons symbolising the variety of colours skechers shoes offer.I researched some inspiring shoe shop windows and from that I got an idea of hanging the trainers with shoe laces which looked effective in the limited space we were given.My group worked efficiently on getting the display finished so we didn't disturb the customers.It was nice to see that there was a positive reaction from the  shop manager and staff on what we had presented for the window display which left us feeling pleased.To make the day even better we got notified that BBC were coming to film us on what we had created in just our second day of Art college.
