Is the Minnie van service worth it?
Tumblr media
The Minnie van is offered through Lyft across Disney property and is a quick and nice way to get around without the haste of crowds and learning bus times. It is pricy but I’d say for what you get it’s definitely worth it not having to walk all the way down a bus port and wait in the heat after a long park day- or simply resort hopping on a non loop or skylines resort.
The drivers are incredibly personable, talkative, informative and nice. They also have music loops of the different parks and resorts they’ll play to wherever you’re going (which as someone who’s a bit of a park nerd was super nice to hear to isolated from foot traffic)
they also have two screens that will play Mickey Mouse shorts. Usually if there’s kids in the car or if they don’t have time to put it up between people. It’s nice to watch but I’ll admit I totally zoned out to them and didn’t pay as much attention to conversations as I’d like
Pricy but worth it depending on your wants/needs. Sometimes taking the bus is simpler but trust me- at the end of the day you’d rather take one of these going back home to a resort.

I’m going to Disney World in 15 days to celebrate my mom’s 50th birthday with her and my dad. I went a lot as a kid since we had family who lived semi locally in central FL, but this trip is def more than we ever did when I was little.
But I was talking about the trip with my mom, who’s so excited, and it like dawned on me. I think I more excited to see my parents have fun than anything else? Like is this the way my parents felt about me when I was little lmao??? Like my mom is excited for the new Toy Story stuff and seeing animals and my dad can’t wait to see Star Wars. Like hearing them talk about what they want to do and see, almost childlike, feels so… nice right now lol.
My mom was talking about the Winnie the Pooh ride (Winnie the Pooh characters are literally her favorite thing ever. My nursery was Winnie the Pooh 🥺) and the just absolute joy in her voice… my god lol.
My whole family has been exhausted from both mental and physical health emergencies. After my close call with an attempt in December due to a severe bipolar depression episode, and all my dads health scares, we all need a break.

I think it's fun having small bits of knowledge about a lot of random things and then being basically an expert on one Very Specific Thing. Like, my Very Specific Thing is accessibility accommodations for plus-sized and/or disabled people with or without a service dog in Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.

I hate going to plan trips, and then being told that I can arrange my plans.
So, for context, I am saving up to go to Disneyland for my birthday. I am one paycheck away from paying off one of my student debts, and I feel like I've earned it.
My mom suggested that I could go to Disney World, since my dad lives in Florida, and he'd probably let me stay for however long I wanted/needed.
Here's where I disagree. I don't like my dad. I have to put up with him for a day this week already, and I'm not looking forward to it. While my parents' divorce wasn't necessarily messy, he did try to pin it all on my mom. (Spoiler alert, it was his fault for being a lying, cheating asshole that tried to claim the moral high ground while having a moral compass like a roulette wheel.)
So, you can probably tell that I don't want to spend prolonged periods of time with him. Plus, I feel like he'd try to hijack my vacation. I mean, I want pure, strict, me time. And that wouldn't happen there.
Plus, I want to go ride the original Haunted Mansion ride in Liberty Square.
But, it basically boils down to, I want to live my life my way, and I wish people would stop trying to make me interact with my dad.

Best Cruise Line for an Alaskan Cruise for Every Type of Traveler
Taking an Alaskan cruise is on most cruise enthusiasts’ bucket lists, and for good reason. Alaska is one of the most ruggedly beautiful, unspoiled locations I have ever visited. However, due to its remote location and large size, exploring Alaska can be a daunting and expensive feat. This is where cruising can help. You don’t want to just book any cruise, of course. They definitely aren’t all the…

A joyful celebration and a magical transportation!
.
.
Let’s talk buses!
Once magical plus of staying on Disney World Property is that transportation is FREE!
I get quite a bit of clients that ask for transportation and are surprised when I tell them that!
- Bus services between the resorts and parks beings 45 minutes prior to opening and ends an hour after closing
- Buses to Disney Springs are available during regular operating hours and end one hour after closing
- Buses run approximately every 20 minutes and at each park there will be an info sign on what number your bus station will be located at
- Buses are wheelchair accessible, scooter accessible and air conditioned!
- Buses can hold up to 70 people!
- There are a variety of different bus designs so make sure to look out for each one!
Fun Fact: some buses have character names like kronk or Timon and that is when the bus is out of service, in training, re routing, or transporting cast members
- Disney Transport has nearly 490 buses which makes it the third largest bus fleet in Florida!
Which bus is your favorite? I think the new Tiana one has my heart, but I also love the figment one!
