Long Live (Taylor's Version) gives me chills. It's really like... Saying goodbye to that part of my life. Of all the pain and terrible shit that happened. Taylor doesn't know I exist, she doesn't know all the shitty grueling surgeries, doctors appointments, and shitty little life moments she got me through. But God if this song doesn't FEEL like someone who sees you and is so proud of where you've gotten.
#disabled swiftie#taylor swift#disabled#physically disabled#She got me through the worst moments#i've said it before and i'll say it again#there's something about growing up with taylor swift that is such a comfort and this album is like burying yourself under blankets#speak now (taylor's version)#taylor's version

The Frontier pre-sale for Taylor tickets is tomorrow and Iām TERRIFIED. Because as a disabled person that needs accessible seating, Iām limited more than an able bodied person when trying to access seating suited to my needs. There arenāt many seats I can choose from compared to everyone else, and even though Iāve filled out an accessible booking form for Ticketek, they still told me Iām in an enormous queue. The whole process is excruciating because I donāt know what else I can do to ensure I get the right tickets, let alone any at all. There arenāt many options to begin with so Iām extremely anxious and Iām trying to be as positive as possible but I teared up over it today. Even the most accessible stadium still isnāt accessible enough and it hurts.

#abby doesnt shut up#being a swiftie rn is incredibly conflicting#like I have all this love for someone who is dating someone with so much hate for ppl like me & ppl I love#and weāve been waiting so long for this tour#and cool things are happening#and then heās there and taylor supports him#so how do u even have fun anymore#then you feel shitty for going to tour at all even though itās your dream#and you think about how all of her promises and morals have flown out the window#then youāre like oh great this is my only safe space and Iām mad but cannot leave#and then I love her#and then she doesnāt speak out#and then sheās pictured with that monster#then I want to protect her from the tiktokers stalking her#then Iām sad again#and I say this just being disabled. I cannot imagine how other marginalized swifties feel.#so please just be gentle with everyone rn. this is not cut & dry and ppl are allowed to feel multiple things at once.#if I see you yelling at marginalized fans for going to tour itās ON SIGHT. they shouldnāt have to bear this burden and lead the way by -#-giving up their tickets. we all still love her and thatās why weāre angry.

Hey there, Dolls! A minute of your time please. If ya havenāt heard, Iāve now got a subscription service through Bandcamp!
Itās got a few tiers, each with its own fun perks, but for just 5$ a month, you get my whole back catalog as well as early access to new music like my most recent album, āHangingā¦ā which is ONLY available through the subscription and will remain so for a while. At high levels, you get access to input on what Iām working on, credit as a Producer (Iāll even swear on a Bible that youāre an honest to goodness music producer if you want to put it on a resumĆ©), and if youāre CRAZY and give 30$ a month I might send you something weird!
I know weāre all struggling out here, so truly no pressure if you canāt afford it. My music will continue to be available on streaming platforms and Bandcamp, and the albums that are released early through this subscription will eventually make their way to the public.
But! My goal right now is just to make 200$ a month through this. Thatās only 40 people who would need to sign up at the lowest tier. Iām old and sick, with myriad issues that make touring (an already failing model for independent artists) basically impossible, so Iām hoping this can serve as a way to get a bit of financial relief and allow me to keep making my sad songs for you all.
Thatās it! Thanks so much for your time, please spread the word, share this post, and, if you can, consider donating. I love you all, stay tuned Dolls!
Oh! P.S. Iāll also take this time to announce that the next album being released on this service will be called āLike You Own The Placeā! Itās an album entirely of waltzes of various genres. Some purely instrumental, some with lyrics, and Iām very excited for you all to hear it. Long time fans know I love slipping in a waltz or two, but this time I went fully overboard and made like 17 of them because it was cold and I needed a distraction.

Maybe this will anger some people, but
The Eras Tour is not worth it as a disabled person
*unless you luckily get a limited mobility seat or whatever the fuck it's called
I had to stand 45 minutes to get the public transport AND arrive to the stadium. Then, walking in the queue like another hour or so. I don't even have to enter the stadium with my wheelchair, just having somewhere near to park it would be enough. Oh, but that's not all. After what seemed to me like a hell of an entry, my tickets were seated. IN SEATS. But, for some mysterious reason, I guess it's common at these types of concerts to stay on foot almost every minute of it.
The result: I was dehydrated, nauseous, exhausted and couldn't see shit. Yes, the music was nice, but when you can't see even the giant fucking screens it turns out to be a pretty mediocre experience. Hell, I think I even had more fun with Paramore because the people were on their fucking seats. If you want to dance, do it on the floor or at your house. It should be standard concert etiquette.
Disabled swifties, don't bother wasting your spoons and money in a normal seat. It's not worth it.

And Iāll never be the same š
Itās been three years since Red TV and itās also the first week of the Toronto Eras Tour shows. Iām still holding out for the last minute ticket drops and contests, but in the meantime, I dug up some pics I took during the Red Tour ten years ago.
I was fourteen and taking these on my little point and shoot camera. Obviously theyāre not the most aesthetically pleasing, but thereās something about the blurry stage and crunchy jumbo screen shots that make me feel so nostalgic even after losing most of my sight at sixteen. Yes, Iām struggling to look at these photos now, but the eye strain is worth it.
One of the visual memories Iāve still retained well is Taylorās performance of The Lucky One. The gown and gloves she wore are seared into my head. Theyāre burning red if you will. If I couldāve made an outfit to wear to this current tour, it wouldāve been this one. ļæ¼
And of course, memories donāt have to be limited to visuals.
Every time I hear State of Grace, my heart skips a beat as I remember returning from the bathroom right as the show was starting. I was half way through the tunnel that led to our section when the drum beat kicked in. I started screaming with everyone else and bolted back to my seat while my mom yelled at me to be careful. Luckily, we made it right on time. Although, lesson learned, donāt drink a giant cup of coke right before a show. Even if you need it to down the expensive, but bland, burrito you bought in the stadium.
Whenever I put on my very worn concert tee, I also remember all the effort my mom put in to get us to the Rogerās Centre that night. Sheād surprised me with the tickets for my grade eight graduation, and though she didnāt know every song, she didnāt stop me from talking about the whole album in the month leading up or on the train ride to downtown. And when our train back was too full, despite being tired from work that week, she just listened to me rave about the concert and looked through blurry photos with me the entire bus ride home. When the Eras Tour started last year, she immediately wanted to talk about things like the crazy stage dive and when Taylor would announce Canadian dates.
Itās been over a decade since Red came out and itās still one of my favourite albums for many reasons, this concert included. I know the Eras Tour has set some pretty high expectations for a lot of people, but I hope that everyone whoās seeing Taylor for the first time gets to experience the same sort of long lasting memories I did that night.
It was rare, I was there ā¤ļø

Inspired by Taylor Swiftās āThe Man,ā this 2.5ā sticker boldly calls out the medical worldās double standards. Women were only recently included in clinical trials, yet weāre still more likely to be dismissed, misdiagnosed, or told itās āall in our heads.ā Made with strong vinyl, eco-friendly inks, and a weather-resistant coating, this stickerās as tough as the women it represents. Slap it on your water bottle, laptop, or anything that needs a dose of truth. Because if we were men, maybe theyād listenābut weāll just keep raising hell until they do!
