Long time no see! Ushering in the new year with a new Digimon sculpt which I've put up in the shop. I'd posted some WIPs of Diatrymon here late last year, but some of life got in the way and he had to be put on the back burner. Got a few more sculpts getting ready to print, including my first Mega-level design by request. It's taken ages, but not long now! I'm excited to venture into painting these minis this year. I'm a sucker for monochrome stuff, but I know most prefer colour. It'll certainly make this place and the store front look livelier! In addition to that, I'll be continuing with fan art of larger, more complex things and we'll see how that goes!

these charas are kind of a love letter to the vpets, so their lines follow their rosters as closely as possible (with a few diversions and tweaks, esp on the megas)

Pomni plays digimon survive chapter 2 part 2

*Has the gazamon attack. Minoru took a hit for Falcomon. Which through there bond was able to evolved him into Diatrymon. Which were able to beat back the gazamon. But falcomon spotted some sort of wolf kemogami. Who said about something of two others. Maybe Saki and Shuji. Of course we need to get the professor to safety. AT the shrine he told us of what happen. Minoru found tracks which we followed till we came across two of them. We encounter fangmon few more times. We also encounter Gomamons which we saved. they given us info about a dame. Which Saki and Shuji were. But fangmon was there has well. And well.*

Professor no!*He tried to help Saki but fangmon pushed him off of the dam which was very high up. But luckily through the efforts of agumon, falcomon and Labramon evolved states we were able to beat fangmon. But there was no breather has the fog was coming up. Which we saw what happens if you touch. It just eats you up.*

Fog bad got it.*Thus the end of chapter 2.*

Word Count: 496 Prompt: Villains Featured Characters: Fangmon A/N: I have no excuse for this one. Fangmon just has such a rad design, and I ended up recruiting one like. Right after fighting him in Part 2. And he's a POWERHOUSE (at least to me; I'm an RPG noob to be honest). So while I considered briefly something with Arukenimon or even Cyclonemon, I had to try my hand at this guy. It's the least I can do after he's saved my butt in so many battles. (Despite trying to hurt the main cast as;dlfjas;df) @surviveweek

Hmph, these humans were quite the nuisance. Fangmon had plenty of Gazimon and other lackeys under his command, and yet none of them had been able to so much as beat back those damn children. Never let others do what you could do yourself.

The old man was a problem, but not as much as those children. And they were split up, which made things a bit harder. Fangmon remained camouflaged as he watched the children fight his Gazimon subordinates. They weren't so tough, really, but Greymon and Diatrymon were a problem. They were the same level as he was, and that was unacceptable. Their increase in power seemed to have something to do with children, which was even more unacceptable. He had to take care of this problem and fast.

But this group of children was a low priority compared to the other two. They were more vulnerable, and their connections to their "partners" (how he loathed the concept) were tenuous at best. It was a delicious and somehow fitting end to a couple of children.

Fangmon's mouth stretched in a wolfish grin as he thought about how he was going to end their miserable lives. He'd have to corner them, of course, and then he'd let his subordinates weaken them. Naturally, the final strike was for him. Heh. No one was more fitting than himself.

Before him, the Gazimon were soundly defeated, and he shook his head. The children's Diatrymon reverted back to Falcomon, and as the defeated Gazimon fled, the blasted bird sensed his presence. Well, it was to be expected. He couldn't keep up his camouflage forever, he supposed. Ah, well.

Not that he stuck around long enough to leave much more than a threat. With his superior speed, he was able to leap far enough away that the children and their companions wouldn't be able to follow him. Unless the old geezer directed them to the dam, that is. Hm. But that was a problem for another time.

He had some children to take care of.

How unfortunate. Just when he'd thought he'd had them, they had bested him. Just when he'd mustered the strength to go after them, his limbs were failing. This had not been his day.

Fangmon swallowed as he eyed the fog crawling along his paws. He let out a howl, struggling in vain to pull himself away from it. He'd heard the stories, of course. This fog was no joke. It could take down even the strongest of monsters. But it would not take him.

"No, dammit, no! This can't be happening!" he shouted desperately, feeling the gazes of those insolent children on him. He let out another scream, though even Fangmon was aware that verbal protest was useless.

No longer was the fog only at his feet. It was an opaque cloud creeping up from behind him. His good eye widened, and he let out one last scream as the fog swallowed him whole.

Kiwimon Dossier

Entry One

The Wind Guardians are an odd bunch. This colloquial title for a particular data strain is a fusion of Bird and Plant type data centering around a few digimon. These digimon (including Floramon, Yokomon, and Delumon, among others) are perhaps best represented by the Ancient Bird digimon, Kiwimon. My hypothesis for this group's success is that because Bird Digimon excel at dispersal and Plant digimon excel in stable environments with lots of space, the group was able to colonize new territories very quickly whenever a niche opened.

Ancient Birds are part of a poorly understood part of the digimon Tree of Life- due to the nature of their data as, well, ancient, only a few surviving members of the group survive. Kiwimon are assumed to be more derived than Diatrymon or Ornismon, due to both of them having jagged beaks, suggesting the trait is more basal, since the species are not thought to be closely related.

Kiwimon was first described based on myths and only later discovered to actually exist. It is thought that this legend must have been of significant importance because of how enduring the myth was, and may have been tied to the member of the Olympus 12, Ceresmon.

While working on a new sculpt I figured I'd print it at different stages, not only to figure out the balance as its pose is only on one foot, but also to show how the sculpt is progressing. Yesterday's work on the left, today's on the right. Tomorrow I'll likely have most of the detail done!

Monster Replays the Truthful Route: Part 2

Just realized that the end of this month marks the anniversary of Digimon Survive's release, so I wanna finish this playthrough just in time!

Weird glitch I noticed: When someone's talking, sometimes the voice over doesn't play, and then they 'talk' in sync with the next characters lip flaps. It usually happens whenever somebody's talking to Takuma.

This is probably the only playthrough where I don't have Minoru with the highest affinity in the first few chapters.

I find it interesting how Diatrymon is like, "What is this!?" when he first evolves.

For this battle, I decided to go Perfect level instead of straight to Mega, with the exception of MetalSeadramon. I just started feeling nostalgic for them.

In all seriousness, though, the Professor's "death" feels very tragic. WhiIe it's obvious from previous playthroughs that he's not really dead, the group's reaction to it, as well as the music playing in the background, really make it hit hard for me.

The same goes for Fangmon's death as well. While it's true that he was meant to be a bad guy who straight up tried to kill the Survive gang, the way his death played out just felt gruesome, even if no actual gore was shown.

Or maybe I'm just a big wuss.
