Sexuality: TBD??? I don't think she's straight but I'm not entirely sure what she is yet. She's definitely attracted to at least one man, though.

Pros:

Honest -- not in a blunt, mean way, but if you ask her a question she will be sincere and earnest in her response. (This becomes a con if she's like this within earshot of the wrong person.)

Empathetic -- it's easy for her to put herself in someone else's shoes and figure out where they're coming from.

Great listener -- gives you her full attention when you talk to her and really tries to internalize what you tell her, because if it's important enough for you to share, it's important enough for her to remember.

Persuasive -- not in a manipulative way, but since she listens and figures out where someone is coming from, it's easier for her to talk someone she cares about down from doing something stupid.

Loves physical affection -- hugs, hand-holding, all of it.

Cons:

Naïve -- she has spent her life surrounded by people that want the best for her and loved, supported, and (to her detriment) sheltered her. She's not unaware of Toril's problems, exactly, but it's not until the tadpoles that she realizes just how genuinely terrible and unkind people can be.

Lack of confidence in herself -- before the tadpoles, she held a clerical role with certain scripts she could fall back on and a fairly vocal goddess calling the shots. When it comes to important decisions, she hesitates to speak her own mind and defers to others. (Again, she feels safe to do this because she's always been surrounded by people who care about her.)

Impressionable -- easily influenced because again, she never had to keep her guard up before the tadpoles, and again, she'd rather let someone else make the decisions.

Very firmly set in her ways -- she likes her routines, and it takes a heck of a push to get her out of her comfort zone.

Shuts down when she's angry -- it takes a lot for her to get to this point, but piss her off enough and she won't even talk to you until she's calmed down.

OC x OC connections: Diana Somerset CLOSED

A little sum up: Diana is the daughter of Valentina and twin sister to Beatrice (whom belongs to @camillejeaneshphm ) and since 2018, the Viscountess of Winbourne (same position Primrose had, since she's her greatx3-grandmother. She's a bit aloof and reserved, but sweet and incredibly loyal when it comes to her loved ones. During her teens, she fell for Quincey Alderly (@gaygryffindorgal ). At this time, he was a closeted gay man pursuing in secret a relationship with Dawn Harvelle (@potionboy3 ). Someone inside her circle betrayed her after overhearing a fight and she left in shame and heartbreak to France. She finished her studied in Beauxbatons and returned to England, where she locked herself to heal until her 30th birthday.

Some things to consider:

• She's a noble woman, so I'll give priority to those OCs who are good with events or descendants from Primrose's circle in the Victorian Era.

• During the time of pursuing she may be distrustful and try to push the person in question away, so keep that in mind.

• An OC can be created for her alone, if you don't have any who fit but would like to have her

• You have to follow me or at least willing to follow me if you want us to have a ship

• Diana's sexuality is a TBD so she swings both ways until proven otherwise

• Speaking of, since she's the heir of a vast estate and ancient house, so a fankid will be discussed soon or later. She'll be the one to have children later in life

• I will give priority to those who still don't have a Somerset ship with me, and those who still don't have OC interactions with me of this type

i'm putting this post under a read more because it's long & i'm sorry it's related to the drama but, i really need to clear up the situation on my end:

to start with, i've never sent anyone anon hate. i don't support that at all because i know how shitty it is to get it. my post today was absolutely a vague, but not about anyone in the rpc and i specifically stated it was related to twitter lesbophobes that spread into the tumblr community (NOT THE RPC COMMUNITY, i never specified rpc & my wife clarified in their post as well it was not the rpc) and specifically mentioned seeing topics of conversion. this post i made didn't even specify if it was about bronseele. i never mentioned their names. but because i posted it on seele, my current main blog, it's tied to that. accusations of anon hate and biphobia. it was absolutely horrible timing, absolutely looks suspicious, but: i had no way of seeing this because i don't follow. i do not keep tabs on the people i block and avoid them from my radar entirely. i never talked nor judged anyone's portrayal or interpretation. people are making accusations STILL because of a matter of shit timing and coincidence related to someone ive had blocked. i want to say clearly, i did not send the anon that was received. i did not even know of it, nor the post that prompted the anon. i have not ever sent anon hate, and have not vagued about anyone in the fandom's portrayal.

again, my original post was kept vague in wording because i woke up (around 3pmest, i have bad insomnia so my schedule is weird) starting my day seeing people on twitter erasing the canon rep of my favorite characters (i'm not talking just up for interpretation characters, i mean seeing people straight up talking about leona/diana in league - excuse vulgarity - "taking dick to cure their mind.") & then while looking at fanart on tumblr shortly after, saw more of the same with other ships i like art of. of course, as a lesbian, i am very passionate about these cases of rep, and of course very triggered by seeing the lesbophobia i was seeing on twitter (the conversion i mentioned in my post, which i followed up with by saying i was seeing more of it on tumblr) not the best wording & def should have clarified but, i just woke up for the day, i was tired, and my brain hadn't fully kicked into gear so i opened my tumblr app to check my notifications and make a quick vent post. it had nothing to do with bisexuality, nothing to do with a bi interpretation, nothing: it was about the disgusting and harmful conversion posts and discussions i was seeing. i had no idea about what was going on hours before because i was asleep. i was logged in on seele, so i just made the venty post (again specifically about conversion therapy comments) and didnt think anything of it because i didn't know what was going on, basically until i started finding out about the accusations.

i do want to note again, i did try to unblock to send an IM clarifying before everything really blew up, but IMs were off & i was already being told of more being said by others so i did make a heated post. it isn't deleted, though i did make it private because i don't like leaving drama up. as with rule updates, they're tagged as "tbd //" and later removed.

on a related, but separate note:

people who talk to me and know me, know the kind of person i am. i have been in way more fandoms than hi3, hsr, or even genshin. i've been on this site a long time and multiple people have known me for years. they know that i keep to myself a lot of the time & only seem to get dragged into drama when it relates to setting boundaries. as stated in my rules, i am exclusive and not dupe friendly. this often leads to me blocking simply for comfort. otherwise, i have only ever blocked people for breaching my rules. breaching my triggers. have i always handled my blocking in ways people prefer it to be handled (via a DM beforehand, knowledge of why first, etc?) absolutely not. especially not when it's related to my triggers, as i state in my rules, seeing those untagged/unfiltered sends me into a trauma response. i have, in the past, contacted people prior to softblocking or hardblocking to let them know why - and these instances have ended in things varying from my mental health being invalidated, being called names (bitch, most often) & often, honestly, end up escalating to something worse.

aside from trying to defend myself, i have only ever, ever said anything about drama in relation to someone harassing me, making violent threats, calling names, etc. i've kept to myself, blocked these people to keep my distance, and it's still somehow a problem. they are still coming to my accounts to keep tabs or, if they deem fit, find ways to stir the pot again. i know people were keeping tabs on my posts, because these people who i've had blocked for years now were making posts about mine. not even knowing what it was about. honestly, after being told of some of the people who have been known to stalk and harass the blogs of myself and other mutual friends, i got paranoid. because it was not only just straight up block evading me, but these people i've been avoiding have harassed, have made violent threats, have called names and been disrespectful when i tried to end on peaceful terms. i won't say names because it doesn't matter. i'm not here to start a witch hunt, and on the same note, i'm not wanting a target on my back when i've already had problems of varying degrees with these people.

that brings me to my dni. in regards to my dni additions, i did add a new group on there due to a prior callout, and this situation: namely, because i felt this was on a level of baseless accusations as a previous callout mention and it did heavily upset me after seeing what i was accused of because of this. my dni does not change according to fandom, and has remained the same (with minor updates) since my time in the league fandom. the recent update including the lesbian erasure dni rule was added as it was in my original rules on my caitlyn blog (my caitlyn carrd can be found here, the last rule being established as i also have a diana, and planned to write neeko - canon lesbians to the league universe. it's something i've been vocal about there as well.)

i am a very firm believer in curating your own space of comfort. write what you want with who you want, but my rules and dni are for my space. to explain why i do not want to engage with certain topics or people who have made me uncomfortable, often due to situations that are related to my triggers and ocd. regardless of this, i do not condemn anyone for who they decide to write with, because at the end of the day this is just writing. i wouldn't accuse or try to instigate drama between two people without first talking. just wish i had been extended the same courtesy.

We keep talking about more books but I can't remember, was it ever officially confirmed by PRH that they'd acquired more than just Spare? Does anyone know?

The original announcement said it was a 4-book deal; two memoirs (one published around the jubilee and the second after The Queen’s death) and 2 other books TBD. Those details seem to have been scrubbed, and it is now being reported that the 4-book deal includes Spare, a book about the Invictus Games, and 2 others still TBD but about Harry’s philanthropy/charity work.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if one of the books ended up being about Diana. Still can’t believe they haven’t done a kid’s picture book about her as that would probably sell like gangbusters. (And now that I’ve put it out to the world, watch Meghan make it happen.)

Can you imagine in the midst of the sea of people idling and sightseeing and soaking in the majesty of The Louvre’s plaza there’s a demigod giggling like a schoolgirl in the arms of a C-list-celebrity-turned-vigilante? Sometimes nothing about this life seems real.

Setting the taller woman back to her feet, Trish leans in closer, tucking her chin into Diana’s chest, and breathes in deeply, letting the rich, comforting scent of her perfume soak into her lungs.

God, she’s missed this.

Pulling back, she takes the Amazon’s face in her hands, meeting dark eyes head on, and Trish can’t contain her beatific, beaming smile.

part  #4429852  of  my  re - examination  of  the  amazon  canon,  something  i  feel  like  i  should  write  more  about  /  clarify  is  hippolyta’s  girdle,  how  she  got  it  &  what  purpose  it  serves.  in  a  deviation  from  canon,  as  opposed  to  hercules  conquering  the  amazons  by  stealing  it,  hippolyta  doesn’t  recieve  the  girdle  until  after  she  defeats  hercules  and  repels  his  invasion.  it  resembles  an  elegantly  crafted  belt  meant  to  act  as  a  clasp  for  her  robes,  made  out  of  gold.

the  girdle  itself,  a  gift  from  athena  and  aphrodite,  serves  two  purposes.  firstly,  it  acts  as  a  physical  symbol  of  hippolyta’s  authority  as  queen;  the  wearer  of  the  belt  is  typically  regarded  as  the  ruler  of  the  amazons.  and  secondly,  it  magically  empowers  the  wearers’  fortitude,  making  them  superhumanly  durable.  in  a  way,  the  girdle  makes  hippolyta  something  of  the  opposite  side  of  the  coin  to  her  daughter;  while  diana  is  famed  across  galaxies  for  her  power  as  a  warrior,  the  girdle  allows  hippolyta  to  withstand  nigh  unbearable  physical  punishment  without  faltering,  thus  ensuring  that  themysicra  would  never  again  be  threatened  by  the  jealousy  of  the  gods  (  or  any  manor  of  other  creatures  )  again.

I have to leave you curious of course!  but yes Tommy and Rob are the brothers but they have two younger sisters!

Thea Laurel Queen is the third child and eldest daughter, and she's Ivy's daughter through and through!  She picks up both the Speedy and Arsenal mantles herself and is the only meta in the family, and much like Robbie she eventually creates her own mantle too.  She's the embodiment of "too smart for her own good" (much like her mother), clever and strategic with a talent for puzzle solving in ways that seem like jumps to anyone else but are actually carefully thought out.  She's also quite athletic, having always found success in every sport that she tries, but her favourites are soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, and archery!  and her face is Danielle Campbell

and last but certainly not least is the baby of the family, Harper Felicity Queen!  Harper is the only sibling to not have dabbled in vigilantism (her older siblings are insistent that she be at least 18 before she makes that choice) but I know myself that she never does!  She fully intends to take over the family businesses (primarily Queen Consolidated and Knight Media, Thea Laurel is determined to take over the vineyards) with her father's stubbornness and persistence and her mom's cleverness and hard-working nature.  She has an endless supply of hobbies and is still very much in the process of figuring out who she wants to be, but she is equal parts sweet and ambitious and determined to never limit her options in life!  and her face is Mackenzie Foy

(I also have Mackenzie as a non-FFL oc named Diana Queen who's also Oliver's daughter, but she was made after I thought of Mackenzie as an Olivy kid fc)

as for William... I haven’t figured out whether he exists or not in this verse (Oliver is less of a playboy as he’s forever hung up on Ivy) but I do want him to exist because Ivy would be a wonderful step mom and he would be a wonderful older brother so tbd for now!

The mouth of the school entrance was littered with different athletes, all ready for a well earned rest after a day of practice. The air, rank with sweat, might’ve deterred some, but Kou was, unfortunately, more than used to it. 

An occupational hazard of being a sports team manager

Scanning the unfamiliar crowd of students for a singular person might’ve been hard if her target for the day wasn’t so easy to distinguish. Not everyone had a head of cotton candy colored hair. 

Lo and behold, it didn’t take long to spot him, though the warm hues of the evening sun had dyed his signature hair color, orange. 

“Kisumi kun!” she jogged over, hand raised high above to catch his attention. There were a couple odd looks shot her way but that was to be expected. After all it wasn’t every day a student from another school would visit, let alone at such an hour. “I’m glad I caught you. I wanted to thank you for helping me carry all that supplies back to the club the other day,” She placed a small box in his hands, inside was a hair clip with a blue fish, similar to the one in her hair tie. 

“Your hairs been growing longer hasn’t it? I noticed it bothering you in your last game. so I thought this might be good. What do you think?”
