Day 5: Unique I thought a lot about this one since seeing the prompt list and couldn't really come up with something. I don't know that it's unique, but something that I never ended up expressing in the comic was how they modify their clothes. Their wardrobe changes over time which means I'm constantly checking that I've got their design correct for the chronology of any given piece. That said… I'd like to push that a little more in the future, cause some more problems for myself.

the evil/opposite art style challenge going around looks fun and it's always important to try things differently from what you're used to but i have no idea how i would do it personally because having a consistent style has never been my goal. i feel like i have about 5 different styles at this point. but if anyone has suggestions of stuff that you've noticed i never do in art that i could try, i'd be interested to hear them

To follow up on the previous post mentioning that I knew I'd be meeting law soon in op and being excited because I'd know I'd like him. WELL. He's not the character I imprinted on. I mean let's be real I'll probably imprint on him aggressively when I learn more about him but u know who I DID IMPRINT ON? EUSTASS KID. THATS RIGHT. my gender envy snatched that boy so fast do u understand the envy of a person who as a kid was so desperately adhered to Toxic Masculinity and Always Wanted to Be Buff. Boy howdy did I mention I so badly wanted to be perceived as Male and that roughness expected of them. And Eustass Kid fulfills that roughly masculine stereotype to a tee EXCEPT not since he's also leaning into punk subculture and gender defying lipstick and it's not meant in an effeminant way but kinda a Don't Fuck With Me Way which his whole look screams and so suddenly that's TEN TIMES BETTER BECAUSE FUCK GENDER STEREOTYPES. and also did I mention he's clearly supposed to be Celtic/Scottish? and as a person whose also Scottish I'm like oh FUCK YES. And oh no that's EXACTLY the gender vibe I want. And then u don't know anything about him for the next age I guess since they all disappeared

you should draw your oc Andy’s room I would be interested if it’s similar to Isiah’s room or more like lars’s

I'm not quite good at drawing complex backgrounds such as bedrooms (one day I'll definitely draw out Andy's room tho because it sounds fun)

But I can give a brief description of how I'd imagine it looking

Andy's room isn't exactly similar to Isaiah's room (Especially because her mom is a MASSIVE clean freak and will barge into Andy's room to clean it herself if it's an absolute pig stine)

But her room does have an untidy look to it (Piles of dirty clothes on the ground, trash such as empty snack wrappers and soda cans, crumbled up papers,ect)

She also has a desk in her room where she keeps blueprints for things such as explosives and just like Isaiah she has a blueprint of the school (tho hers is smaller and not nailed to the wall like Isaiah's) She also has a drawer in her desk full of drawings and letters given to her by Isaiah (He's also given her a deer skull which she proudly has hanged up on her wall over her bed)

I hope this gives a small look into what her room would be like I'll definitely try to draw it out when I get the confidence to do so!

Nick: (Pacing around the office, recounting several stories about reckless and stupid things Jasmine has done recently)

Ellie Perkins: (Drinking some coffee, nodding along while thinking that the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree in this case)

Nick: “That’s not even the end of it! I warned that girl about going into the Milton Parking Garage because of the loose whack job who turned the place into a death trap but the more I talked about it the more she seemed to want to go in to catch this guy!”

Ellie Perkins: “Ya don’t say?” (Under her breath to herself) “Sounds pretty familiar….”

Nick: (Holds up a finger) “I turn my back for one second to talk with Preston and the next thing ya know X6 is behind me saying that my kid has just done the one thing I told her not to do and had decide to walk into the deathtrap because she wanted to “investigate” this so called maze!”

Ellie Perkins: (Overly dramatic gasp) “No- really?! Even though it was obviously a trap that had been set up and would most likely lead to her untimely death?!?”

Nick: (Doesn’t catch the biting sarcasm) “Yes! It was a trap laid out clear as day and the kid just moseyed on in there like she owned the place!”

Ellie Perkins: “Mhhhhhmmm!!! Is that so???” (Aggressively sips her coffee)

Nick: (Pinches the bridge of his nose) “I had to kick down the front door and drag Jazzy out by the heels because she wouldn’t come back! And the kid had the audacity to try and wave it off like she didn’t just give us all a heart attack in fear for her life!”

Ellie Perkins: “MHHHHHHMMMNNNN!” (Sips her coffee even more aggressively, almost breaking the handle with her grip)

Nick: (Shakes his head in exasperation) “The kid ain’t invincible and easily mendable no matter how big she talks herself up. One of these days her reckless behavior is gonna catch up to her- and that won’t be a pretty sight!”

Ellie Perkins: (Finally has her big moment after years of built up) “You feel like saying, “You keep laughing in deaths face, one day it’s going to laugh back,” to her to try and knock some sense into her stubborn little head?”

Nick: “YES! Exactly what I-!” (Realizes what she means by referring to that certain phrase and freezes)

Ellie Perkins: (Keeps going to drive in the point) “And it just annoys you to a deeper level whenever she does that confident little smirk juuuuust before she’s about to do something so stupidly reckless-…”

Nick: (Holds up a hand) “Alright, I see your point there, Ellie. I suppose I’m not the one who should be talking here….”

Ellie Perkins: (Grins smugly at him, folding her arms)

Nick: (Heavy sigh) “Yeah, yeah- get it all out of your system why doncha.” (Kicks his feet up on his desk, bracing for impact as he lights a cigarette)

Ellie Perkins: (Slams her hands down on the desk, almost quivering with anticipation) “I’ve been waiting a long damn time for this day to come, Valentine….”

(R.I.P Nicholas Valentine. He’s never hearing the end of this one from Ellie and he’s in for a long lecture)
