Black-tailed jackrabbit (Lepus californicus) at Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix, Arizona.

None of the animals or birds at the botanical garden are captive, but many of the critters that live on the grounds become habituated to people. I have never encountered a more laid back jackrabbit than this fellow. When I see them in truly wild conditions they vanish before I can lift my camera. This one was practically posing.

Hello I am back with more Viva Piñata doodles! Turns out if you think enough about fluffy piñatas you can force your way through art block (at least for a while)

The typical Viva Piñata experience, I love you Pretztail but why are you like this I drew so many Pretztail as a "do over" of my first Viva Piñata drawing from 2018

that's when it all started

Just caught up with Natlan's archon quest and lord help me, I have a burning need to see Alhaitham and Ororon interact.

I truly feel that they would vibe perfectly. Not in a ship way, but like, in the way of Kaveh quietly wailing: "For archons' sake, he's brought another tacky thing into the house. Traveler, please do something; they've been staring eye to eye over the coffee table for like an hour now but haven't said a single word. I don't know what to do. Send help."

An early piece for the Sonic Garden, organized by @shadowxamyweek! Two of my favorite things in life are Sonic the Hedgehog and plants, so how could I resist?

I just got back from a trip to the States, and it's no surprise my main source of inspiration here was the South West <3 Read more about the plants under the cut > >

The cactus is called Opuntia, commonly known as "Prickly Pear". While they do bloom, I don't know if they bloom like this. I just really wanted to draw pretty orange flowers XD Not only do they bloom, they bear fruits! The one in the background is a Saguaro cactus. Some of them grow pretty tall. They really give you that classic desert feeling. Love it!
