Aita for taking over the kingdom after my boyfriend broke up with me in public by declaring his love for another girl?

I (17 F) have been under a lot of heat for what I'd described as a perfectly reasonable reaction to the situation, and I'd just love some perspective from a few people.

When my boyfriend, Brent, and I, Amber, (fake names since this is a throwaway account) were 16, he, getting ready to be king and all, decided that releasing some kids off of our kingdom's island prison would be his first political decision. I tried my best to be supportive and see his point of view. Of course, I was sceptical, all things considered, but he assured me that these new kids were not gonna change anything about our dynamic at all.

Anyway, from the moment the first 4 kids came, I had a bad feeling about this one girl, Mary. Not only was her mom a super sneaky fairy/dragon who cursed babies (our families have long histories together), but she was immediately eyeing up MY BOYFRIEND. I tried to keep my cool through it all, but barely a fortnight into her arrival, and the girl has completely ruined everything.

My boyfriend kept going on about giving her and her friends a chance and all that, only for me to go to a tourney game and see him CONFESSING HIS LOVE TO HER. I was so humiliated. Of course, I tried to save face, but deep down, I was wondering how heartless he had to be to embarrass me like that in front of the whole school.

I tried to take some time to myself to heal and all, (I even dyed my hair this super cute pastel cotton candy combo) but when I thought I'd finally found my footing again, he proposed to her. It felt like another slap in the face.

Long story short, I stole Mary's mother's evil scepter and took over the kingdom for a few days. It wasn't bad, I just put a few people to sleep. No big deal.

Regardless, they defeated me, and now everyone around me is treating me like I'm the crazy one.

I'm genuinely confused as to why everyone hates me. So I have to know, aita?

AITA for crashing a ball just to give my bestie the spotlight for a while and then make a dramatic entrance to reinforce our silly?

I, 13F have been trapped on this prison-like island for my whole life with my friend, 14F who we will call F. F and I got randomly transported to Auradon. I won’t tell how because I don’t want to get sent back.

So F managed to sneak her way into Auradon prep and therefore I have been her secret roomate whlist not attending the school. My friend could not show her talent while in the isle, so I took the Neon-lights ball as a chance to let her shine.

I did steal a couple stuff but it was for the sake of my friend and the anecdote.

I messed up with something during the ball so that F could share her talent as a singer to the world. Then I took a hostage because of the anecdote.

F is kinda mad at me and now I feel guilty. AITA? (Hostages we’re unfortunately released)

In my opinion NTA, you were just being silly and goofy. Hostages were let go, no harm no foul.
