the most devastating part of louisa probably being the person to come up with lucy's countermeasures is when did she write them. was it when lucy joined the guild, wide-eyed and hopeful for a place she'd be loved, not knowing that louisa was already brainstorming ways to defeat her??? was it as they slowly became friends and louisa, too smart for her own good, pieced together that the kindness lucy keeps secret was always going to end up resisting a man like fitzgerald???? was it the day lucy failed her mission and louisa stood up for her, all too aware that it was the first and last time she ever would?????

The absolute funniest thing about This Monster Wants to Eat Me is that the premise is literally that the monster wants to help treat the protagonist's suicidal depression so the protag will taste better when she eats her. Because she's a gourmand and people who are happy and want to live apparently taste better. Incredible, flawless premise.

Yuri Kuma was so ahead of the game in 2015 making the human girls cops and fascists and straightforwardly declaring it is actually not bad but based and divine of bears to kill them in the name of resistance and survival, only for half the people who watch it to stop on the braindead "the bears are out lesbians" trope take and get mad about Ginko's "wrongs" being "justified by the narrative"
