I remember, before I properly got into toh this summer, like sometime this year (cuz I always checked out the fan stuff) I found this huntlow comic that took place in the future with Hunter having a PTSD thing and explaining to their kid about his trauma response. I’ve been watching TOH recently to cope with uh… a lot of things… so I might as well share some thoughts

I originally was thinking of making a lengthy post for each season, but I think I’ll do it in a more chill way. I do have a draft for the first season that I’ll put in here ;

“So I actually watched the first episode like a real long time ago,, maybe back when it was trending I think, cuz my friends wouldn’t stop recommending it to me,, I watched like half of it and then stopped but I remember thinking like “oh goodness Luz is so me” and then later on I finally finished the episode and was like the conformatorium, now that is quite the concept and name and like it’s cool, it’s cool, but I never quite continued with it till later on when I invited my friends over and we watched a good chunk of season one like the first 5 episodes or something. I didn’t particularly like it but I was like eh it’s not bad oh amity starts off MEAN

CUZ ACTUALLY — my real origin with TOH was like … back in 2021/2022 and specifically I would search “Lumity fanart” and just… look at the fanart. (FUNNIEST PART IS I THOUGHT I WAS STRAIGHT LMAO)

ANYWAYS this summer I decided to properly start watching it and now I have just started season 2 and am here to give you my thoughts that you did not ask for on season 1 ! I LOVE HOOTY I LOVE HOOTSIFER I LOVW OWLS 🦉 OOOOOOOUAYAHAHAHHAHA

I feel bad making every show discussion of mine somewhat personal, but this is sort of an outlet I have so I’m gonna I’m sorry

I also see myself in him like … l know people especially on the internet get mocked for certain self deprecating jokes and the whole fake smile mindset thing but in my opinion it’s so sad when you see someone making jokes about their abuse, neglect, etc

and it looks like he finds it genuinely funny like the mountain joke , I find it funny

and I know it’s supposed to be funny but like y’all are catching what I’m throwing right ?

I have so much more to say about him but I’m not quite sure how to put it into words lol but I get a warm feeling in my soul when I see him (not in a simping way, which is lowkey refreshing)

lumity is absolutely adorable and I just love that they’re just - a healthy teenage relationship that’s also interesting and will get you all giggly cuz they’re adorbs

the found family themes are absolutely beautiful

I’m gonna get hated for this but I … don’t really like raine. At least not at this point in the show. Like okay I definitely don’t hate them and I wouldn’t be mad at people for liking them and like I do like them for certain things like they’re a cool bard and Eda likes them and stuff but like- I’m probably misreading this but from Eda’s dream thingy it kind of seems like Raine just left her when she was probably struggling with the owl beast and stuff and then just comes back all nice suddendly ? And now they’re back and being a meanie? Okay actually my mlp infested brain has a theory that the like remedies that plant lady is giving them is doing smth similar to uh mlp s2 finale part 1 but if raine is saying all that shart out of their free will … idk brah I’m kinda disappointed . They’re a good character and I def don’t hate them but I’m not the biggest fan,, at least not yet

ALSO BELOS IS TOTALLY FUCKING PHILLIP I FEEL LIKE IM GETTING DEJA VU AND ALREADY KNEW THAT FROM A PREVIOUS EPISODE BUT WHATEVER

SO !! I have a silly little show I’m making and I’m currently working on the first episode BUT!! I still need voice actors for two main characters, with one who appears in the first episode !
