Now I want to see the decepticon reactions to m/n now being a vehicon!!!

everyone is mixed, the vehicons are all happy (they don't know the suffering m/n went through) Megatron keeps m/n by his side a lot of the time but if he can't then soundwave watches over m/n, plus Starscream doesn't take accountability cause like he didn't know Silas would be this fucking crazy to pull that stunt cause Megatron is going to kill him if he finds out that this happened cause of starscream going to have a temporary alliance with M.E.C.H. so starscream lies and just says that they are just crazy humans to begin with plus m/n is kinda bummed that he can't transform (Im basically going off of Silas and I never saw him transform while in the husk of breakdown in the show but I might have to rewatch the show again) But good lord if Megatron found out about the horrific shit m/n when through cause of M.E.C.H (and starscream bascially starting a small domino affect to have m/n be taken by M.E.C.H) Megatron sending vehicons to kill Silas and then he going to beat the scrap out of starscream but then starscream manages to get out of that and say it's more of M.E.C.H's fault so yeah.

M/n doesn't sleep good anymore after the whole putting him into this metal prison body stuff, Miko gave him a blanket but m/n just kinda holds it or puts it on his shoulder as he kinda does sleep better with it but normal wakes up from a nightmare that keeps him up, but hey the kids sometimes get to sleep over at the base and it's cheers m/n up and he sleeps better almost gets about 4 hours of sleep than normal, as normally he only gets a hour or 2 of sleep before being jump scared awake but the nightmares but slowly he's getting better sleep as record now is 5 hours.

Now for a little angst

sometimes m/n has dreams of him being human again, he’s so happy thinking he woke up from a nightmare and he hears his mom or dad (or parent/s) calling for him and right when he leaves his room, he wakes up. Laying against the concert wall as he looks down at his metal body and all he wants to do is go back to that dream, just to feel the warmth of his bed again, He doesn’t want to feel cold anymore.

When m/n is on the decepticon war ship, when he’s in his personal quarters, he sometimes lays on the metal bed that all cybertronians sleep on and he can’t sleep, he wants to scream, cry, yell, anything but he can’t, he can only hope is to wake up.

Anyways now back to the silly,

Vehicon m/n gave Miko the responsibility to keep his animal crossing island safe cause his fingers are to big to even check up on his animal crossing island of his switch/DS (depends on which you have) and Miko is good at it but she now she has a massive fossil collection in the storage.

Waaa! Hello there! Im glad you asked and Im willingly here to help you with that!

Although,Im not a really an expert for tutorials. So please bear with me with some grammatical errors qwq

long post ahead!

Okay,so here it is: I. Angles and shapes

First off,you need to determine his head angle. I used some angles from the existing pics of Fort Max from MTMTE for this owo When you do,try to make a basic shape. In other words,draw a box. So when you draw a box,it should be look like 3D-ish like my illustration above. Fortress Maximus has a very Square-shaped individual and his head shape could vary in some angles and may inconsistent. (my brain is not brainging atm)

II. Drawing For drawing,now I picked the 3/4 angle because it's easy,lol.

I started sketching his head with a circle first and then proceed to add the box shape. The top of his head is not completely flat,but more like curved. But it won't be neccessary later on,I think? (It's just my liking when sketching tho qwq). Then you see a shaded part so it looks like 3D-ish,and I added a jawline and neck.

Next,drawing his face and neck. It didn't go the way the base looks like,but you could overlap on some areas if you needed to (such as chin,jawline,forehead,etc..). Btw,you can use the lasso tool and transform tool to adjust the angle for you liking.

Then,you draw a slightly elevated angular square for his brim.(similar to this lego piece,lmao). Also,you can add his side thingy-stuff (ii have no idea what are those called). I preferrably draw those things angular,but you can draw it straight up a rectangle and more easier.

Then add that little thing in the middle like most every cybertronian have. Again,repeat the same "Slightly elevated angular square" but its now a triangle-rectangle hybrid.

Also,try to make it look like buried within the brim. (It still depends on you if you want it on top or look pushed down)

I erased some of his forehead and jawline. And Ta-Da! This looks cursed af,but we're getting there! Final step is to add his antlers or horns.

I finally added his horns/antlers! his horns/antlers could vary in shapes too! some examples seen on the lower right,but ive seen more than that!

keep in mind that to flip/mirror the canvas if you drawing those so you can be aware if it looks weird

Add that smol half square between his helm and antlers

and we're almost done! added some details too You can also add those "shadows" on his eyes,like in the idw comics. Max eyes looks a bit small and weird,but it can be fix by erasing some parts to make his eyes looks better.

Finallly...Done!

I made some few minor adjustments for my liking.

anyways tfp megatron fills one of my least favorite villain tropes ever and they shouldve let me write tfp.

i HATE the whole "bad guy is bad and he doesn't care about his little henchmen" like WHY? evilness doesnt get rid of sympathy and megs has literally no reason to treat his vehicons like that.

i mean, it is megs. he was a bit deranged in the show and i guess that could be used to excuse that writing choice. however. i reeaaallly hate that trope.

i propose that megatron should be motherly more than anything. and of course the vehicons are loyal to him but we should get a reason for that loyalty. like instead of actually murdering the vehicons for fucking up, i think it would make more sense if he chided them instead. depending on how exactly you view vehicons (like are they drones? regular cybertronians?) he might even just treat them like children. if you subscribe to the belief that theyre drones and therefore less developed, that is.

I actually kind of like cruel Megatron... i’ve been on a cruel Megatron kick lately, even though that scene in netflic WFC where Megatron turned off an energon plant and killed all those good decepticon soldiers made me sad... they were waving him off. I’m crying, actually, i don’t like cruel Megatron at all.

to be honest, I can see where you’re coming from. The vehicons might be small but there are a lot of them, if they were truly so horribly mistreated, the could’ve ganged up on Megatron... they have little reason to be loyal, unless you assume they’re mindless "drones" which i honestly don’t believe. I think that the vehicons are kind of "drones" as in, they’re clones made for this war, but they’re fully sentinent with separate personalities. Sorry, i just love the tfp vehicons. They deserved so much better.

I can definitely imagine Megatron being motherly with them... it comforts me. Maybe the times we see him being cruel with them is just him really losing his cool? Maybe that happens, but otherwise he doesn’t blame them for failing too often. They’re just little soldiers, so young, inexperienced, he doesn’t expect them to be as good at fighting as trained warriors.

Hmm.. So we know about the cassettes siren abilities, one of the insecticons can control electricity or somethin like that (IM SO SORRY I CANT REMEMBER WHO IT IS FOR THE LIFE OF ME), does anyone else have their own abilities? Starscream? Soundwave? And for Skywarp n Thundercracker, did their powers get changed a bit? Or did those two's powers stay the same? (apologizes if my grammar aint the best)

Ooo powers questions ! So pretty much every Cybertronian has some kind of unique power that usually relates to their model type.

Starscream is a voyager seeker, a seeker design specifically for space travel. Its unique ability is to affect gravity, giving itself a stronger pull and pressure. It can also build up and release high amounts of pressure, but that's very risky. Its power is black hole themed!

Thundercracker is a weather seeker and has a big battery pack for storing energy for electrical blasts, and Skywarp still teleports for stealth because they're a stealth model.

Soundwave's powers are dependent on its cassettes, gaining slightly different versions of their powers and the ability to cycle rapidly through multiple different powers based on how many cassettes are in its compartment.

There's lots of powers! Also, it's Shrapnel who controls electricity. And thank you so much for the questions!

Sins of the Wreckers Relevant Background Information

so, if you've read Spotlight Kup and Last Stand of the Wreckers, what else is relevant information?

okay there's a lot here, you can skip it if you want but some of my commentary won't make as much sense

if you're only going to read 1 thing read the Arcee bit

also i guess, a lot of spoilers for comics that came out more than a decade ago

IDW1 Arcee:

TLDR on her personality is she is just here to attack people and she's having a great time...but also, she wants to know more about this thing called friendship Okay so...some of you may be familiar with her backstory, some may not. I'm not going to get into her entire deal but the basics that are relevant for Sins of the Wreckers are: 1. evil mad scientist named Jhiaxus experimented on her 2. she spent like 4 million years running around trying to find him leaving a trail of bodies in her wake 3. she did in fact find him except it was in a place where life and death went wonky so she spent an entire year just killing him and then he'd come back to life, repeat repeat repeat 4. after that she came to help save the universe and sort of hung around afterwards as a murder hobo who sometimes did stuff for Prowl but also did stuff like "knowing he was being mind controlled for months and not doing a thing about it until after everything around them was literally on fire because it gave her a good fight" and then being surprise pikachu face when they weren't besties after 5. she's bad at people okay, she does get better at people eventually, that's like her whole arc across the series 6. she's also currently an Autobot and went to Earth with Optimus when he went back after the universe nearly ended (again)

IDW1 Prowl:

The TLDR on his personality is he's the guy trying to get people to stop Leeroy Jenkinsing Okay, disclaimer, I'm a major IDW1 Prowl fan and I'm aware a lot of the fandom disagrees with me on this because they're wrong and most of them only read MTMTE. I am in fact fully capable of being objective about this guy, it's just that people make him out to be the Worst Ever so I'm a bit defensive. 1. so despite being a field agent Prowl is also basically second highest authority for the Autobots besides Optimus (or Bumblebee when he was leader) (well okay, depends on the author exactly how high an authority he is) 2. he got mind controlled for months as part of a plot to bring Megatron back and put the Decepticons in charge, this also resulted in his body getting modified against his will (which is less traumatic for transformers than it is for humans, but still not fun) and stuck in a mental group bond with a bunch of guys who a) did some real bad war crimes and b) thought he was the best ever and basically became his yes-men. 3. everyone immediately abandoned him post-mind control on account of the reveal that he ordered a sketchy guy's assassination before the mind control (which. to be clear. he did not order. he wasn't exactly sad that the guy died lmao but he didn't order it and it was a bit difficult for him politically) 4. why are the last two points relevant? because they played a major role in his worsening mental state and basically fed into his worst impulses which like no one noticed (and im still ??? that optimus PUT HIM IN CHARGE cmon man) until he hit rock bottom and tried to use the recently repaired spacebridge to destroy Iacon which contained a significant portion if not most of the remaining Cybertronians because he believed that they were always doomed to be stuck in the cycle of violence and killing each other and getting everyone else stuck in the crossfire so, kill everyone! Cybertronians don't deserve to exist! (it's been a hot minute since I read this comic, admittedly, and I'm leaving out a lot of details but that's the essence) 5. He got stopped, arrested and punched by Optimus after this but while he was lying on the ground a guy who was secretly working for him decided to show initiative and spirited him off. We don't actually know where he went after that. He's a wanted fugitive for the obvious reason of trying to kill everyone.

General Background stuff i.e. what happened between LSOTW and SOTW

Spoiler: Megatron wasn't dead, he was just in a coma for a few years, he came back, he let himself get captured by the Autobots who were hiding on Earth. The Autobots were about to head back to Cybertron because a guy named Galvatron was about to end the universe (on Cybertron). Megatron did this because his body had been transformed in a portal so once he was there he went portal mode and brought all the Decepticons back to Cybertron, where they ended up getting mind controlled by the ancient evil that Galvatron had released (except Megatron). Megatron fought his mind controlled troops alongside the Autobots (...sort of) while a group of Autobots went to try and stop Galvatron, they won and then Cybertron essentially reformatted itself back to a primitive age. THE WAR WAS OVER (in theory). It cost them the Matrix, which was their magical leader-choosing tool that could do all sorts of weird things. Optimus formally retired as Optimus Prime and went back to being Orion Pax because he was the symbol of the war and unpopular with the neutrals.

After this, the mind control thing with Prowl happened and the Decepticons attempted a takeover of Iacon and tried to destroy the Autobots for good, this did not end up reigniting the war but did manage to get Starscream (who had left the Decepticons) voted in as new leader and all the remaining Autobots AND Decepticons who still kept their badges thrown out of the city. meanwhile, elsewhere in the galaxy, Judge Tyrest who you may remember was the guy who judged the war crime trials in LSOTW, snapped after seeing all the war crimes and became racist and also thought he heard the voice of Robot God via self-harming, and he built a device to kill all the guys in the universe he was robot racist against so he could walk through a portal that only let you through if you didn't feel guilty. Needless to say he got stopped. Yes, this is in fact relevant.

LESS THAN 48 HOURS AFTER THE CITY WAS LITERALLY ON FIRE, Shockwave tried to end the universe. A LOT of stuff happened, you know what maybe I'll post Dark Cybertron one of these days because it's a TRIP and I have successfully explained it to multiple people. The TLDR is: - Bumblebee died - Shockwave is gone - Orion Pax became Optimus Prime again - Megatron did a complete turnaround and joined the Autobots (and also had a public trial) (he managed to get out of being convicted for his many war crimes on a technicality and went off into space to join a different comic series, and I'm not being snarky, this actually happened) - Soundwave led the last guys still calling themselves Decepticons and ran off to Earth and decided to start a hippie commune and I swear I'm not making that up either, it makes slightly more sense in context and yes it is in fact relevant to SOTW - annnd Optimus and a small group which included Arcee, Prowl, and Kup also headed off to Earth, Optimus and Prowl went back to Cybertron for an editorially mandated crossover event which was where the Prowl thing with attempted mass-murder-suicide (???) happened. At the beginning of SOTW, Optimus is still on Cybertron, iirc. Also yes Starscream is still in charge of Cybertron. Somehow it's not on fire. Okay recently it was but it wasn't his fault. Er. At least 75% of it wasn't his fault.

do yall think cybertronians could be on alternia? they seem to be a very techy-planet, even without the cars and stuff-- and theres even cybertronians who can turn into animals and such

what if a troll was just raised by a giant robot lmao? like what if theres some autobots there initially for energon resources but then they kinda stuck around to try and help trolls with their rebellion for peace, but not everyone knows this? just a lil local secret of sorts

but then like what about the decepticons? would they side with the empress? would they pretend to side with the empress only for a later betrayal when they secure their power over all of the troll-conquered planets? like thats sneaky imo, forming an alliance just to cut-throat them for power.

What are your thoughts on the other Seekers? Out of curiosity! :-)

OOOH i actually like them, I'm just learning more about them. About like 15-20 year ago i got into tf because of tf armada so i knew more about the seekers then ---but it's been such a long time since i watched in and tfp barely had the others in there.

but i'm looking at other tf material (idw comics, earth spark, im getting into cyberverse rn!) and so far i love them as a dynamic. so far, my faves (other than THEE starscream) are thundercracker, novastorm, i LOVE slipstream, acidstorm and skywarp. thundercracker is kinda my fave just because him being a writer and film director resonates with me.

slip stream in cyberverse is also my fave next to him not only because i like her voice , but just her personality.

earth spark made me like those version of skywarp and novastorm which is why i wanted to throw hands when one of them was killed off screen.

as for seeker thoughts--i'm just gonna jot some hcs/thought i have!!

in my aus they are actually all siblings or consider themselves siblings. this question is like a worm hole for me because i've been like coming up with seeker lore and content to put in my fics, and my personal hcs is that seekers mostly see themselves as siblings.

i also hc that some seekers also worship a very old cybertronian faith/deity. She is a goddess and in their belief she was one the first cybertronians who could naturally fly. since seekers were constructed from a cold spark and were manufactured for a certain purpose, worshiping a goddess makes a lot of them feel more like 'normal' cybertronians and makes them feel connected to something bigger than themselves. Not all of them worship this religion but many of them do.

All Seekers are born with a Vossonian accent, which is just similiar to Starscream's, and English like accent. But it can be different dialects depending on where in Vos said seeker is from, stays in (so like northern english, irish, forms of welsh, scottish). Tho most of the hide their accents when they leave vos because they are strong. but i also hc that all their humanformers form/or the forms they take if they're attempt to pretend to be human are black-that's just personal preferences lol.

Lgbt+/queerness is a huge thing in seeker communities as well. So Starscream is not at all out of the ordinary in seeker traditions.

Seekers also are anti-divorce, even the less religious ones. Family is also a huge thing to them. If they perform marriage rituals--you'd better just stay with them. They love their children, their spouses, etc., and would do anything for them. Once they are married or have children/sparklings then their coding is overrided to the point where they are dangerously over protective. Seekers also aren't supposed to/aren't built for sparklings but many of them just ignore that and have them anyway.

seekers modify themselves a lot, and are seen as the more fashion inclined cybertronians. because of the cold spark and looking so similar, seekers to change their appearances if they can, or even modify how they look to fit the idea they have of themselves (starscream did this in tfp in my aus). they also like to wear forms of clothing (scarves, dresses, shoes, make up, etc.) more than others.

Seekers LOVE to take grounders flying if they can.

i think after i get done with the tfes drop i'm gonna have to relisten to tma (already in progress, currently in very early s1) or malevolent or both. i also think im getting to where i could start a new podcast; i just need to bite the bullet and dive into space horror podcasts. or hfth or something maybe idk. i'm just REALLY in my feelings about malevolent tbh it's so. it's so good

specifically im thinking abt this bc tfes has a lot of like... "the power of love" stuff going on, along with "you were chosen for these powers by merit of your character," which... it's fine, it's just very kids' media, and Malevolent has a lot of not that, which I'm feeling drawn to. One of the best things about the admittedly very limited amount of TF comics that I've read was the framing of the Cybertronian government as incorrectibly corrupt and Megatron's war as... not entirely unjustified. I have a lot of turbulent feelings about that whole situation, but I bring it up because I find Transformers's usage of the "morality lock" fascinating, and the circumstances by which Optimus comes... I was going to say 'into possession of the Matrix,' but I suppose more it would be more correct to say the circumstances by which Optimus comes to be, I find fascinating as well.

I don't know. There's just something about inciting incidents that I'm feeling drawn to examine right now. I should relisten to MAG160. Also I want to hunt down and see if I can find... I've been assuming that the story of how Optimus came to be in IDW1 is available as a comic somewhere? And Rodimus as well, actually? Idk. I think I need to watch G1 for Rodimus maybe? I REALLY need to finish Cyberverse once I get done with TFES.

Also I really desperately want an at least partially Rodimus-centric animated show. Maybe I'll get lucky and later Cyberverse will have the Rodimus content I want. They at least have down the delightfully pretty design for him, which is very important to me. For all of the bots, but PARTICULARLY for Rodimus. Not to be ~that person~, but of all bots, Optimus Prime, speedsters, and seekers Need to be Pretty. I like for Megatron to be pretty also (I like ALL of them to be pretty, and Megatron and Ratchet are the two bots most allowed to be butt ugly, on account of being ancient curmudgeons and more preoccupied with practicality over form. Though depending on characterization, it could be argued that form would be a practical consideration for a Megatron utilizing higher amounts of charm/charisma.

For a moment, Blackarachnia appears perplexed. Crimson eyes widen beneath the safety of a golden helm, and their lips part as they struggle to regain their composure. Their processor races with possible ulterior motives for this. Starscream? Being genuine? Please. He was trying to steal their research, or worse, parade her around only to make her a laughing stock. Air Commander Starscream with a techno-organic alien. What a sight that would be.

Their eyes pause over one line in particular. "I'm loyal and will fight for you." Her lips purse as they unintentionally think back to when they first offered to join the Decepticon cause. They were initially mocked; after all, how could a Eukarian be as brilliant a scientist as someone who graduated from a Cybertronian academy?

But Starscream, for all his faults, still has Megatron's ear. He put in a good word for them-- they still don't know WHY. And they've been a Decepticon ever since.

ignore this (or not idc) im just gonna dump my transformers x mk (specifically ashzoth) crossover thoughts below so i dont forget

syzoth is a triple changer; his alt modes are an ATV and a giant lizard mode resembling zaterrans. what he chooses really depends on the situation

ashrah’s alt mode is a motorcycle

both of them are cons turned bots

in syzoth’s case, he’d heard about both causes and what they stood for, the fighting, etc., he was neutral and didn’t want to get involved with the cybertronian civil war. but after getting caught in the crossfire of a skirmish he ends up losing his family & home due to the actions of some autobots. this left him in a position where he easily fell into the hands of the decepticons, loyally serving them. however, as events progressed, syzoth was repeatedly mistreated, especially if he questioned the path that the cons were falling down and what their goals were. after all, he joined to bring justice for what was taken from him and restore his home (im unsure which specific part of cybertron i want him to be from rn but just know it gets fucked up) not to mindlessly conquer cybertron and whatnot. eventually, his usually-solid loyalty wavered, and syzoth was beaten badly and left to die. some autobots found him almost dead and brought him back to their base, capturing him for the sake of extracting information about the decepticons. given that syzoth had nothing to lose at this point, he ends up telling them what they know, and he also learned that the autobots hadn’t wanted to cause so much damage to his home, but decepticons had discovered that some bots were hiding with important plans in the area, therefore triggering the ruthless destruction and death. this made syzoth understand just how much he’d been strung along by the decepticons. that he should have been fighting with the autobots all along. eventually earning their trust — and an apology for the accidental deaths of his family, caught in the crossfire all those years ago — syzoth starts anew as an autobot.

ashrah and her sisters did not willingly join the decepticons. quan chi captured them during a battle because he recognized they could be valuable assets, and when the sisters did not willingly agree to join decepticon ranks, he had a device forcefully implanted in them that messed with their personality components. this made all of the sisters obey the decepticons, specifically quan chi, and overtime they were molded into deadly warriors for the army. one day, ashrah and sareena were carrying out the will of their masters when an explosion caused debris to strike them, internally damaging some parts — including the device affecting their personality components. back to their senses, both of them realized what exactly they had spent all of these years doing, and were aghast. they immediately went back to base to try and free their other sisters, but to no avail; sareena was re-captured, and ashrah sustained too much damage and ended up having to flee. she sought out the autobots and explained everything to them, and after much consideration/interrogation/screening, she was allowed to start anew in their ranks. despite it being out of her control, ashrah feels immense guilt for what she’d done as a decepticon, and vowed to snuff the sparks of as many of them as she could for the rest of her life. in addition, every time she has a battle against them, she tries to find a way to free her sisters.

their similar situations end up being what brings ashrah and syzoth together. even despite turning over a new leaf, most autobots (understandably) don’t trust them at first, so they don’t end up being able to socialize with many at the start. ashrah (whose defection happens before syzoth is left for dead) is actually one of the bots who questions syzoth for information at first—she was chosen because the autobots did not realize how willing syzoth would be to talk, and figured that an ex-decepticon would be able to navigate around the usual con tricks and speak. even during that initial interrogation, ashrah felt a connection with syzoth because she could understand his unique situation. when syzoth is eventually released after earning the trust of the autobots, she decides to fully befriend him.

despite both being ex-decepticons, ashrah and syzoth never really crossed paths during their overlapping periods of servitude. syzoth did briefly encounter her sisters, and it’s possible they’ve stood in the same room once or twice without noticing each other, but that’s about it. the reasoning for this is because they both answered to different people and were both utilized for very different purposes.

since this is transformers, the crash on earth has to happen at some point. syzoth joining the bots doesn’t happen until later after the crash, but ashrah joined the bots shortly before the crash occured

for paraphernalia: one of ashrah’s hands can turn into a blade that resembles datusha. she also has some other light/energy-based abilities, and can hover in bot mode. think like how megatron and soundwave just kinda fly away super-hero style all the time in g1. syzoth, along with being a triple changer, can also turn invisible, and has a fluid weapon similar to the stormtroopers that shoots acid.

just because they’re both autbots doesn’t make their eyes blue. syzoth’s are red (i’d keep them green but i like the contrast it’d have with the rest of him), and ashrah’s are still black like blackarachnia’s in beast wars

shang tsung & quan chi are both decepticons serving shao (megatron equivalent here). think of their relationship like starscream and knockout’s from tf prime. scheming, evil, ruthless gay bastards who plan behind shao’s back but are also willing to betray each other when it conveniences them. also because knockout and shang would get along idc

vaeternians are all seekers (bots that turn into fighter jets for those who are unaware). nitara is one of the highest-ranking seekers in the decepticons & oversees a specific squad that goes out to produce energon. she never got along with ashrah that well while the latter was a decepticon, and her leaving only gives nitara an excuse to be constantly on the lookout for ashrah/hunt her down.

i have no idea what alt mode kung lao is but just know that in this au he still somehow has his dumbass hat

ashrah’s color scheme was red and black as a decepticon, but after joining the autobots she gets repainted to white and gold. she has marks on her plating resembling her demonic ones from mk1; she chooses to keep them, because they’re a connection to her estranged sisters she isn’t willing to give up until she’s freed them all. syzoth doesn’t look much different before & after joining the autobots, besides some scars that couldn’t be easily fixed up by,, whoever the medic is in this au. he has a pattern like his mk1 tattoos on his plating as well.

syzoth and ashrah find they both enjoy life on earth, when they’re not battling the decepticons. the scenery is so unlike cybertron, but it’s the breath of fresh air they’ve needed after all the trauma they experienced back on that planet thanks to the war. they document every new discovery they make on earth, and are careful to not destroy the natural environments too much.

their eventual confessions of love happen years after their first meeting under the stars, after a battle calls things too close and syzoth almost loses his love for the second time

the cassettes just have a boss-employee relatoinship; i like this one just fine bcs its never going to be a normal boss employee relationship. nightmare workplace dynamic if funny to me and honestly I rock with the cassettes not rlly knowing eo like that until they all started working w/fr soundwave

the cassettes are family; also fine with this, but heavily depends on how its portrayed. I'm personally not a fan of the mechpreg concept esp when its like, just organic pregnancy with some fancy terms slapped on top of it to make it seem more robotic. im also partial to the cassettes being like kids. that's a grown ass man w dick n balls ykwim <-- its funny fr the jokes but like if im actually looking @ an actual series idrc fr them being like kids. LOL I SHOULDVE JUST SAID I fuck w the found family concept but yeah. my two cents ig.

the cassettes shitass roommate arrangement; kinda close to what idw was doing, I think its really funny and honestly the cassettes being familial figures in the way they're the ones who kinda "took care" of soundwave made me smile when reading idw1

this ones usually not on its own but I think cyberverse giving laserbeak (the eonly shown cassette) a more petlike role was only fun bcs how they showed soundwave calling and catching her from a group of other bird cassettes. he's like a falconer?? which is very cool to me and I thought abt blaster having a lion and rhino in his cassete ranks and its like. man. if they have to like be animal wranglers for the animalstic cassettes thats kinda cool? why there's a distinction between animal and humanoid cassettes kinda makes this one a bit "???" though

also I think depending how "sentient" you want to make the animal cassettes, whether they're cybertronian or smt else Ig also. like. says smt. idk shrug. idm if the animal cassettes are just pets but its like, again depend heavily how you decide to portray them

^^ i think my favorite interpretation so far is cassettes being their own thing from cybertronians, and the humanoid cassettes...just not being actual literal cassettes and are instead minibots that are even smaller than average that can hitch a ride in the compartment <-- a temporary thought as i think abt this a lil more cuz the cassete alt modes are still rlly fun to me but the way people decide to portray the differences is so... idkkkkkk frowning
