I’m bored, so I’m gonna drop some senate headcanons before I go to bed.

- Sentinel is an avid hunter in his free time

- Ratbat is what Sentinel calls a “tamed beast”, referring to evolved beastformers that have lost most of their animalistic qualities and have even developed vehicle alt modes

- Proteus is a water alt, paying homage to the Greek God Proteus, the first son of Poseidon

- In addition to his water based alt mode, Proteus also lives in a culture of sirens and singing as widespread communication

- Ratbat and Soundwave were originally conjunxed and raised the cassettes together, but Ratbat sided with his political allies and voted out Soundwave during the Rust Plague when he raised concerns about the senate’s lack of action

- Ratbat and Hellbat are cousins, and Ratbat can also do the hypnotism trick that Hellbat can do, though Ratbat is much more advanced at using his ability

- Proteus is rumored to be able to “foretell the future” because of his accurate “predictions” of certain events and consequences, though this “ability” is thanks to his web of control he exudes to ensure his will is carried out

- Proteus engages in a hobby of going out wearing different kibble to spend some nights away from his position, another reference to the God Proteus, who could shape shift to avoid people seeking him out for his prophetic ability

- Proteus has a younger brother named Triton, who serves as the Emirate and ruler of their homeland

- Shockwave and Soundwave are brothers, Shockwave being the much more open and extroverted, while Soundwave was quiet and mostly kept to himself

I wanted to do a version of my Rumble design with more emphasis on looking mechanical. So here he is! I really like this design, and I'll probably tinker with it some more!

Omg I hope it's okay that I add more disabled Transformers to this post that I'm aware of, this is something I'm actually really passionate about!!

Siren! A cybertronian that hails from the sonic canyons, is hard of hearing! He first appeared in the marvel generation one comics, helping Nightbeat and Hosehead search for the creation matrix!

Another transformer who's hard of hearing, and a personal favorite of mine, the antithesis to Soundwave: Blaster! (His IDW incarnation, to be exact!)

Then there's the bot who's appeared in multiple comics and cartoons, everyone's favorite autobot medic, Ratchet!

Not only does Ratchet have a type of chronic fatigue from what we can interpret from above, but if we look at some of the comic panels from more than meets the eye, it's likely that Ratchet also experiences a cybertronian equivalent to arthritis!

There's also Transformers animated Arcee!

She experiences chronic memory loss from an incident during the great war!

Then there's also our good friend riptide, who has an unreliable transformation cog!

A bot that's in a similar boat to Riptide, is the great Cassetticon dinosaur OVERKILL!

A decepticon thats dedicated to doing everything in excess (as his name would imply), he experiences occasional circuit malfunctions, which cause him to be unable to reach his full height/size when transforming from cassette into his mighty Dino mode!

In regards to impared vision, Kaput is a character that comes to mind!

He's visually impared in one eye, and happens to be another autobot medic!

And how could we forget Cyberverse Perceptor, who is also visually impared!

Perceptor stays visually impaired from the point of him losing his vision to the end of the series, and not a single character tries to fix him or tell him to have it fixed! He is visually impaired, and that's okay! If I'm not mistaken, (and feel free to correct me if I am!) he is also the first character in any transformers TV show to have a visual impairment!

loosing my mind at how some things that are So good can be So niche why can’t we just be a hivemind

Just one example, my favorite example, is:

Shattered Glass Soundwave!!!

He’s gone through Multiple reformats varying between with his consent and,,, not. The latest of which took place when they didn’t have many materials

So they used half earth metals half Cybertronian ones

As it turns out? Those two things don’t mix very well. His joints are Horrible. They lock up randomly, the worst of which being the door to his tape deck.

He physically isn’t able to dock his cassettes reliably because they might get stuck in there.

What does he do to fix this? So glad you asked!! He has his own assistive aids, in this case: a portable external carrying case

It was made and personalized to work specifically for him and his situation
