So. Today I got another refund (from Etsy) and my boss offered to pay my lunch at a reasonably posh place my work colleagues and I went to. She also took me there. So either the Deneb Algedi oil is considerably picking up steam or all the Jupiter/Sun magic I did years ago is still in effect.

Capricorn post? *Sniffs your art like a dog*

The characters name is Capricornus! Because that's the name of the constellation. And like mentioned before (I know it's getting annoying hearing it from me all the time haha) but these are based on the constellations :) (I called him Capricorn at first too, oops)

He's the 10th prince, so one of the younger ones (even though they're all thousands of years old, mentally he's young adult). He's a bit of a party boy! But great at planning them too

Miss Sun was mentioned before in these posts, but she used to be the princes' nanny and now still takes care of them during their reign. And she is often concerned when Capricornus is out partying again.

Capricornus Alpha Star doesn't really have a proper name? It's official name is Alpha Capricorni. It's also two stars but we see it as one (some other stars are binary systems, who are also two stars but appear as one, but then a big star has a smaller star orbiting it. Alpha Capricorni is an optical double. The stars do not orbit one another, just from our angle it looks like one). So I will design that one too at one point. Alpha Cap had some names: Algedi, Algiedi, Al Giedi or Giedi. Since Deneb Algedi already is called Algedi I thought I would call the character Giedi. He has horns in the very quick sketch but I'm not sure anymore if I want stars to have horns as well. So a redesign is in order soon!

Ophiuchus is the mc of the game concept and Capricornus (who was the very first Zodiac Prince I drew btw) is her friend. Ophiuchus was designed as a joke when I first started this design series, as an answer to the question if I would make zodiac princesses and the 13th sign. I did some sketches for a different design so maybe she gets that one as well. Capricornus is a smooth talker, a pretty boy, so Ophiuchus likes him.

Capricornus has a split tail, because it's a goat with a fish tail get it? Other fish like constellations have it as well (not all of them though).

Many people talk about...

...how nobody in the Inner Sphere seems to have fun these days. This is probably true, but only because all the fun humanly possible to be had already was had, during the Jihad, on the sparsely inhabited world of Deneb Algedi III (less popular sibling to tourist trap Deneb Algedi II). Let's look into the chart of Karl Marx (and then start a revolution). He has Jupiter in the 12th house of hidden enemies.Jupiter rules religion. For Marx, religion is the opium of people, a hidden enemy of people that "dr*ugs" them so that they won't revolt. 12h also rules dr*ugs

Marx was practical but he was idealistic too. My Current Eclipse Remediation Plan:

The whole toaster thing feels like the warning shot for me so I’m going to remediate this one pretty heavily. 

So this evening we will be:

- Sweeping the whole apartment

- Using a cooling herbal incense to smoke cleanse the apartment while praying

- Filling a spray bottle with water and talismanic materia (Deneb Algedi and possibly Asclepius from Sphere + Sundry for those who are familiar), spraying it on the floor and Swiffer mopping it in. 

- Taking some of the materia to the corners of the house and the property line and sprinkling it while praying

- Eating a quick meal so we can fast from food for the duration of the eclipse

- Take a ritual shower; sound cleansing + energy scraping before I get in, then Asclepius materia in a pitcher and prayed over to to fortify, and Deneb Algedi in a pitcher and prayed over to protect. Will probably do a foot bath too somewhere in there. 

- Giving a offering to ancestors and asking for their continued protection

During the eclipse itself I will: 

- Abstain from food

- Abstain from sleep

- Abstain from sex

- Abstain from anything activating (Reddit, discourse Tumblr)

- Drink lots of water

- Stay inside (less important since the sun will be down then but out of habit mostly)

- Listen to chants I like or other music meant for calming

During eclipse season (the time between the eclipses) I will: 

- Give something pleasurable up (for me this time it’s chocolate)

- Take fewer risks 

- Meditate more

- Use Asclepius oil daily

To be very very clear - you do not need to do all of this. I like sharing what I’m doing in case it helps other people get ideas.

My recommendations for if you can only do a little bit: 

- Clean your floors as much as you can before it starts, bless them if you’re able

- Cleanse yourself in some way, even if that’s just a mundane shower

- Close the blinds, stay out of the sun if you’re able

- Fast from something for the duration of the eclipse or eclipse season

DUA LIPA BIRTH CHART ANALYSIS

Gemini Ascendant, Mercury her ruler is exalted in Virgo. The ruler of the 5th house of art and creativity is Venus, and it's absorbed in the heart of the sun and strengthened (cazimi), in Leo the sign of performers, in the 3rd house of writing, communication and media.

So she writes songs and performs, ans has a large online fan base. I like her angular Jupiter in its domicile and also in its own bound.
