How fussy was the muse?

Remember Gremlins? The little creatures you don't feed after midnight? The creatures your not supposed to get water on? That's how I would describe Kayleen as a young child / toddler. Very fussy, an onset to being HoH (Hard of Hearing), and irregular emotional responses. She also gave her parents the blues. Tantrums, excessive crying. They never gave up on her ofc, but she was exhausting.

While her mother, was one to pacify with ultra patience, if Kayleen freaked out cause she couldn't have a toy in a store. Her dad Clawrk would literally walk away from her (slowly) so she would get the hint that hey, I am behaving this way and dad isn't having it. He always left the store with her being carried in her arms. It was better than crying.

A daddy's girl who was reminded that he won't move the world for her if she couldn't behave nicely. Clawrk and Harriet weren't 'baby-talking' Kayleen either. Softness and being stern were two important balances to show their youngest.

Rune nodded. And tried moving the zipper up. There was some resistance. But she managed to get the dress zipped up.

"I know the situation well.." Rune sighed and patted Kaiden's shoulders. "All done" She walked around to face the other. "I'm guessing you'll be home late?"

"Thanks, try zipping it up." she smiled moving her hair out the way as to not have it in Rune's way.

Kaiden holds in a tiny laugh "No, no date." she answered, "Work event, though I normally try to avoid them...this one is being held by my dad."

"Oh you're gonna fight?" Dabi threw his flames to meet her attack. "You'll die braver than most" He used his fire as cover and ran right through it. Charging at the hero. His hand stretched out towards her. Flames slipping through his fingers.

" She sighs, pocketing her phone; creases formed between her brows while she ponders the briefing she'd been given. Often grave or not yet understood threats fell upon other officials to comply with agreements in law enforcement. A strange injustice. They were present at the situation, readied for orders and were told to standby despite the clear threat. It only took seconds for a situation to turn to tragedy. " So I guess you know what that means. " Ryu twirls her blade between her fingers, an impish gleam behind her eyes as she circles over to the fire escape of the building in question.

why did the author kill you off?

Morals=Mortality. Every story has themes, with lessons within those themes. Your death was in service of one (or more) of these, your life made forfeit in favour of imparting wisdom... or what the author presented as wisdom. Were you too kind? Too trusting? Too forgiving? Did a cruel author kill you to prove that happy endings do not exist? Or were you too proud to ask for help? Too angry to let the past go? Did the author hold a mirror up to the protagonist, showing them your death where the reflection was supposed to go? On one hand, your death is pitiable, for it does not belong to you. On the other, you have been granted a gift many spend their whole lives searching for: A purpose. May you find comfort and truth within the circumstances of your demise (and may we all).

The city was alive-- gleaming with energies and faces of young and old. There were a lot more young faces out this time of night. School had let out not too long ago, and many of the younger generation was out to play.

Robin wasn't really one for clubs or parties. But she would walk alongside anybody who invited her out. It was better than having to stay at home in the darkness, tidying her family's shrine and keeping the house in working order after so many years of solitary.

She admired the colors that gleamed here, in spattering of neon, reflected on the humans' faces. A glossy rendition of modern life that she had avoided for so many years.

Carefully, she came to stop at a nearby ramen cart, placing herself on a stool beside another girl. Placing down a note, she waited for her order, trying to warm up her hands under the buzzing electric light.

First thing that sticks out to Kaiden is his eyes and her first thoughts of him are he seems to have a cocky and arrogant attitude about him
