            Demetri Martin is an American comedian, actor, cartoonist, and musician. He was born into a Greek-American family in New York City. His father was a Greek Orthodox priest and his grandparents migrated from Sparta and Crete. He grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, and worked at his family’s diner in Beachwood. Martin graduated from University in History and then went on to study Law at University. He withdrew from law school to pursue a career in comedy. Martin has been married twice and has two children and lives in Los Feliz, California.

Demetri Martin has appeared in: Late Show with David Letterman (2002), Flight of the Conchords (2007), Taking Woodstock (2009), Contagion (2011), Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022, Tiny Tim) and he’s also appeared in the music video Selfish Jean by Travis - which is a fantastic video, definitely check it out.
