I’m still bitter
It’s been two months since the Timeless finale and I am still upset. Here are some more memes I made after the movie that I want to share with y’all. My sentiments remain the same. Enjoy.

I think what actually frustrates me about S2 is Wyatt gets back with his wife, but refuses to let Lucy move on. It’s like she’s not allowed to move on until he gives his approval?
He gets aggressive with Flynn, who was trying to comfort Lucy. Flynn then points out that Wyatt’s wife is down the hall, and he that if he has a problem with Lucy, he should bring it up with her directly.
I get romantic possessiveness and protective instincts but this borders too closely to creepy for me to actually appreciate S2 Wyatt

It was fairly obvious that Garcy wasn’t gonna be endgame, but during the finale I was still holding out to see if the writers were brave enough to make it happen.
Now all we have is a dead Flynn.

Garcia Flynn, upon realizing the errors of his ways and the pain he inflicted on others, goes to great lengths to help save history, apologizes, and acknowledges that the crimes he committed can not be undone. He sacrifices himself in order to protect everyone else- including those who still hated him. He lost everything in his life and still managed to find the strength to save others.
Wyatt just said sorry that he knew his wife was evil and a kidnapper lol

hot take: if you don’t think cis women should have to mutilate themselves and act a very specific way to be “real women” then trans women shouldn’t have to either

Friendly reminder that all the people at @timeless-season-three are an AMAZING crew.
If you’re sad about the show ending, they have dedicated so much time to writing an incredible season 3 for everyone (I do mean everyone!) to enjoy! The writing, the research, and the storylines themselves are rich and thorough, and an absolute delight to read. Go pay them a visit, I can not thank them enough for doing this for everyone.

What the hell, man. Not anywhere near as awful as The Originals finale, which one would think would have left me numb to bad series finales, but *really*?! Flynn’s fate happening so soon in the episode, treated so quickly like they were brushing him off (the John Doe photo, wtf! That was ridiculously cold) and then the nearly nonstop Lyatt fluff?! It truly veered from bad to almost actually unbelievable. There were points towards the end when I couldn’t believe it just kept getting worse and worse, like they were rubbing salt in the wounds of all Garcy shippers on purpose. I don’t even dislike Wyatt; he’s just not the one for Lucy and she deserves better. Even to compare her chemistry with Wyatt to what she had with Flynn is a joke. The Lyatt endgame felt so unreal and forced. They dangled so much Garcy potential just to snatch it away and practically laugh in our faces by going majorly overboard with sickly sweet Lyatt stuff.
I will say that the ending of the episode almost salvaged it. That was amazingly good and not just because of Flynn’s insanely hot stubble, okay I lied, it was the stubble, and that cheek kiss that was a million times hotter than anything that ever happened between Lucy and Wyatt. I’m sad, irritated af and disappointed beyond words but if Timeless ever comes back and Flynn is going to be in it again, I’ll still totally watch it because I’ll always believe in Garcy and adore their characters. I will seriously take what I can get, but *wooooow*. Wow.

Even if Lucy wasn’t in love with Garcia, (she was, but besides the point) she still loved him and WOULD HAVE MOURNED HIM!! There is no way she would have been that ok with his death and she certainly wouldn’t have moved on that quickly!!

Here are my honest thoughts about Garcy and what should have been:
I love Garcia Flynn and Lucy Preston. Those two are just electric on screen together. I used to be a Lyatt shipper but ever since Flynn uttered the words: “I’ll only talk to Lucy.” I instantly leaped off the Lyatt lifeboat and went on to the Garcy vessel.
Ever interaction between Flynn and Lucy in season 2 just kept me wanting more. The chemistry Abigail and Goran have is…beyond words. I think with more time and proper writing, Flynn and Lucy could have been spectacular. Flynn knows Lucy, more than anyone. Lucy is not the same person she was in season 1, she changed into someone that I grew to love even more. Garcia and Lucy are just meant to be, she saved him from falling deeper into the darkness. He kept her sane when the world was closing in around her. I just wish the movie would have given us Garcy shippers more of a chance.

If we had a season 3 we would’ve gotten a proper São Paulo scene written by Anslem Richardson (the guy who wrote the Delta Blues episode) and that’s the tea
