Anticipation keeps our minds captive, just when will the leaves bleed and cry? Torn from homes known all their lives. Just when will the air turn cold? No longer full of sweet summer.

One can only guess, anticipate and worry.

Yet it suprises us just the same. Perhaps it came sooner, later. But still, the leaves bleed and the trees mourn with the cold wind whispering in our ears.

Sometimes I wish I was like the others, to whom time passes in a blur. As they live life in a way that seems timeless. Yet I do not at the same time. Wondering what I'd be missing in those short lived moments. Just what happened those years ago? Would I never know?

To me, time still feels endless. Does it feel endless to you?

Do those days of light streaking across the sky that fades into deep darkness with dazzling stars keep you for eons?

Or is everything nothing but a blink? Once it was winter now it is summer, does it feel the same? Does the speeding tempo of time's sound the same to that slow, steadiness of nature?

when i first began my worship of the theoi, i most commonly worshipped demeter. she guided me into the religion with loving arms. over time, though, school had rendered me unable to worship and i sort of had to reintroduce it to myself. iris had become my patroness, aiding me in reintroducing myself to the gods and beginning to worship others i hadn't previously. and, of course, this led to me beginning to worship demeter again. it fills me with a sense of warmth and happiness to be able to venerate her, heavenly deo. ❤️❤️

Mesmo após as agradáveis festas e comemorações de início de novo ano encorajadas pelo costume internacional, seria impossível uma data tão importante na Coreia do Sul, como o Seollal, ter sua apreciação esquecida por Nikos, o gregoriano dono de todo aquele complexo. Com o intuito de proporcionar uma maior festividade não apenas aos moradores nativos, como também aos estrangeiros que passaram a residir em Acropolis, foi contratado alguns guias de turismo para que pudessem levar todos à inúmeras festividades possíveis de acontecer por perto nesta data tão especial, fosse os curiosos coreanos ou não, que queiram algo tradicional do Ano Novo Lunar ou apenas uma programação diferente para que também pudesse se sentir parte da sensação de comemoração da população.

Durante os três dias de festividade, todos os estabelecimentos do condomínio terão permissão para fechar, ficando à escolha de seus proprietários, apesar de Nikos incentivar e muito essa questão e pode ter certeza que, caso alguém seja prejudicado devido sua falta em uma data como essa, o dono do complexo não estará nem um pouco do lado do chefe. Afinal, é algo muito importante da cultura coreana, sendo uma data especial para se dar atenção principalmente para os seus familiares, sendo assim, possibilitar um tempo livre bem maior para que os moradores possam aproveitar o feriado nacional de maneira mais flexível é o ideal, pelo menos, dentro dos estabelecimentos do condomínio.

CHARYE E SEBAE!

Na sala principal da Assembleia, das 08h às 14h, será realizada a cerimônia do chá, um ritual tão tradicional quanto no Chuseok. Todos os moradores interessados poderão participar vestidos com seus hanboks, sendo auxiliados por um funcionário que explicará os detalhes de cada etapa do ritual. Quem preferir, poderá apenas assistir e prestar respeito às oferendas feitas aos ancestrais, sem necessariamente participar de maneira ativa na realização.

A partir das 15h, um momento especial será dedicado ao Sebae, uma das tradições mais significativas do feriado. Para isso, alguns moradores idosos do condomínio foram convidados a compartilhar essa prática, muitos deles tendo crescido realizando essa reverência e demonstrando entusiasmo em repassá-la às gerações mais jovens. Vestidos com seus hanboks, eles estarão acomodados sobre almofadas, aguardando aqueles que desejarem prestar respeito.

Todos os moradores mais jovens, sejam crianças, adolescentes ou adultos, poderão participar ao se ajoelhar e curvar o tronco até tocar o chão com as mãos acima da cabeça, demonstrando sua reverência aos mais velhos. Como forma de bênção e gratidão, os idosos entregarão um Sebaetdon, que são os tradicionais envelopes simbólicos que representam votos de prosperidade para o ano que se inicia. No entanto, em vez do costumeiro, desta vez cada envelope trará algo especial escolhido pelo morador mais velho, podendo ser:

✦ Uma foto ou um pequeno objeto de valor emocional; ✦ Uma quantia simbólica de dinheiro; ✦ Cupons de desconto para os comércios do condomínio.

É esperado que esse momento não apenas mantenha viva uma tradição valiosa, mas também fortaleça os laços entre as gerações do condomínio, criando novas memórias e promovendo um maior respeito mútuo entre os moradores.

MITOS!

Uma das belíssimas atividades que será proposta pelos guias turísticos é a visita ao Centro Cultural de Gangnam, onde será feita a contação de histórias e mitos sobre o Ano Novo Lunar e o folclore coreano com a encenação de um teatro colaborativo, não apenas para que os moradores possam ir assistir junto a outros cidadãos que poderão estar por lá, mas também que possam se voluntaria para participar na atividade caso possuam interesse o suficiente para tal. Além, é claro, de poderem se aventurar de maneira mística através das barraquinhas de adivinhações e leituras de tarô que também estarão estabelecidas no centro.

WORKSHOPS!

Partindo diretamente para o Centro de Artes de Seul, os moradores poderão aproveitar de um grande número de workshops artísticos espalhados pela área, que vão desde a confecção de máscaras tradicionais, pipas, dobraduras ou, caso a pessoa queira colocar ainda mais suas habilidades em prova, também poderá se incluir em uma área própria para a criação e costura de seu próprio hanbok, onde farão a imaginação do modelo, escolha dos tecidos e montagem da vestimenta com suas próprias medidas.

JOGOS!

E tem mais! Durante os três dias de festividade, a Ágora se transformará no centro de diversão atendendo a moradores de todas as idades, trazendo brincadeiras tradicionais diante de toda a programação.

Todos podem participar, seja como jogadores ou torcendo por seus times favoritos; ✦ Jegichagi - O jogador que conseguir manter o jegi no ar por mais tempo sem deixá-lo cair será coroado campeão; ✦ Tuho - Para aqueles que preferem desafios de mira e concentração, a estação de Tuho estará montada e pronta para receber participantes; ✦ Neolttwigi - Será montado em uma área mais afastada do centro da praça para aqueles que quiserem experimentar este divertido jogo de saltos sincronizados. Para garantir a segurança de todos, teremos almofadas de proteção ao redor da estrutura e monitores auxiliando os participantes.

Seja para descobrir mais da cultura coreana ou apenas comemorar essa data tão especial, os moradores serão mais do que incentivados a vivenciar todas as experiências, levando em conta que, além da disponibilização de guias especializados, como uma maravilhosa proposta do Síndico Park, também será disposto dois ônibus próprios para enviar os moradores nessa experiência pela cidade, transitando de um destino para o outro e finalizando no próprio condomínio.

The idea that orange and lemon @lemon-boy-anon were both accidentally created by Demeter, I pictured this as their interaction if ever knowing.

-🌾- In this version, Demeter is manipulative and over controlling

-🌾-Here's what I think, she felt like her daughter was taken from her out of her will. So of course she's angry and bitter.

-🌾- So if knowing she has a second chance to have that life again with new kids, why wouldn't she do everything in her power to not go through that loss again?

-🌾- I'm talkin, hiding them away from anyone and the world // be around them 24/7 // keep them at her home // make sure they don't escape through manipulation and guilt tripping// but a loving and caring mother in the end

-🌾- This time, she will do anything in her power to ensure she has the life that was taken from her.

I've lived in camp my whole life, but I've recently been claimed by my father.

He's Aztec... Can I stay or do I have to leave?

I am... not aware of any children from other pantheons staying here, but I also don't know if there are any places for Aztec demigods! I'd say you can stay unless your dad tries to send you somewhere else :D
