I remember reading about how the brothers can sense their sin on you like some kind of energy only they can see
So imagine and MC that doesn't express themself that much, but when someone on the hallway made fun of them, Satan felt a huge weight on his chest. When one of their classmates got a better grade than them, Levi almost fell down from his chair. And when someone attractive passed next to MC, Asmo felt to the ground, breathing heavily as their lust seemed like a tons of bricks on his back.
It's like, it's so much MC holds that it turns into a physical weight everytime (silly!!!)
-🍵
I really love this idea, 🍵 anon!
I've also seen discussions of whether or not the brothers can sense when MC is experiencing their sin. But having them react like that is interesting because it means that not only does that brother know how MC is feeling, but so does everybody around them.
I think it would be interesting to consider how this would impact the brothers' relationships with MC, especially if MC is kinda quiet.
Or if MC does the thing where they put on a mask all the time.
Then the brothers can see a little bit of their true feelings through the way they fall from the weight that suddenly crushes them.
Can you imagine a quiet, happy MC that everybody thinks is bubbly, but then Satan is constantly falling to his knees?
I also like the idea of Beel and Belphie kinda becoming the self care twins. Because Beel will always know when MC is hungry and Belphie will know if MC is tired. They can tell when it's too much and they can barely walk because of it. They find MC and force them to eat and/or sleep so that they can walk normally again.

potentially hot take but this is a pet peeve of mine
#listen. anyone can write whatever they want and idc I don’t have to engage with it. all power to them!!!!#it’s not even an automatic click-off for me or anything#i just… why. I don’t get it#like… that’s literally one of THE most iconic traits of the entire character. of the entire concept of the SHOW even#and you’re just gonna??? get rid of it??? hello????? the entire basis that John and Arthur’s relationship is made from????????#really????????? possibly the most tender part of their relationship???????#you don’t wanna write fluff about John reading him books and describing things and guiding him????? really?????????#it’s just so boring to me. I don’t understand the appeal#like yeah obviously Arthur as himself would definitely prefer to get his sight back#but as a concept like….#something ab the whole ‘happy ending = the disabled character gets ‘fixed’’ thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth#why do u have to fix them. why cant they just be disabled. do you think people can’t be happy and be disabled???#idk maybe it’s not that deep. and still I don’t really care that much#it’s just the vibes. I don’t vibe with it.#and I’m sure there’s some actual annoying as hell discourse in the fandom ab it which I have zero interest in engaging in#but I had to have my little petty bitch moment#bc blind Arthur is everything to me. ESPECIALLY in a jarthur context.#anyways thank u for coming to my Ted talk#malevolent#arthur lester#if anyone wants me to tag this as smth Iemme know

Buddhism might not have seven deadly sins, but they do have ‘five poisons’.
Moha (मोह), Wúzhī (无知): Ignorance, Confusion, Bewilderment, Delusion
Rāga (राग), Yīliàn (依恋): Attachment, Desire, Passion, Greed, Lust
Dvesha (द्वेष), Fǎngǎn (反感): Aversion, Anger, Hatred
Māna (मान), Xūróng (虛榮): Pride, Arrogance, Conceit
Irshya (ईर्ष्या), Jídù (嫉妒): Envy, Jealousy
The first three are also known as the three poisons.
If traditional heavenly demons are hatred, and the crows are pride, that leaves delusion, greed/lust and envy.
Though with how crows steal stuff, I could also see just sticking to the OG three and making them Rāga instead, so there might only be one more heavenly demon type around.
Either way, a Moha based heavenly demon would be freaky. Whatever they look like, they’d probably bend reality, confuse people’s minds, or create illusions.
Actually sounds a bit like dream demons kinda… Meng Mo, secret heavenly demon who lost his body?
Wooooaaaah, that would be so cool - and I love the idea of Meng Mo being a heavenly demon, but one that's trapped and without his body, forced to leech off the energy of OTHER demons, those that were once below him. He has become what he hates the most - weak and forced to rely on others. I do feel like Airplane would focus the most on the dvesha (wrath) demons because...well, that's Binghe, but there are probably loads of notes on potential types of heavenly demons that were abandoned through time. Maybe Meng Mo was supposed to be a plot point about Moha demons and their lineage, but it was swiftly abandoned when the fans lashed out.

I think it makes more sense that the Princes were pureblood – Snape naming himself "Half Blood Prince" indicates that he was the only half blood Prince — but half blood Princes growing on me alarmingly.. something about them not being included in the Sacred 28 because they married muggles whenever they fell in love, being into dark magic but actively against blood purism (which eventually got them killed) is so scrumptious to me. And would be refreshing from the bunch of "Pureblood Most Noble and Ancient *family name* aesthetic that people push into every single pureblood family in fanon. Also, it would tie nicely with Eileen leaving the Wizarding World: her family got targeted and killed for not supporting a rising Tom Riddle and she was scared the same would happen to her and her son unless they got out of the way

I feel like me and anon will just have to agree to disagree on this one 😅
interesting arguments made. i would also bring up that apollo also found out about the prophecy when he shouldn't have and my little explanation for that earlier was that He Just Knew instinctively even while he was dying because i thought that was a bit funny. god of prophecy and knowledge and all that, but if we're going more in-depth:
just because apollo/lester was "destroyed" does not mean he's entirely gone, and the fact that he's hallucinating in the first place proves it. helios, for example, despite disappearing for millennia, got gathered together by medea so he could be shoved into caligula. also every time apollo stays away from the sun palace for too long apparently it goes back to helios's scent of Axe Body Spray.
not all of apollo's essence would've been thrown into chaos. there's still the question of how zeus stripped his immortality and what happened to it while apollo was mortal. though it's implied that over time, apollo manages to take it back, the fact is that he still didn't have all the godly strength he needed to pull himself up. there's still a bit of his essence which he doesn't have control of, probably in zeus's possession or something. that essence could still, in theory, use his power of foresight and gain bits of knowledge, subconsciously adding that information into his hallucinations (almost like dreams, but it’s something he wants to see being mixed in with little pieces of prophetic knowledge rather than a future or past event) but be too weak to do anything else (especially since it isn’t in his control) like how harpocrates couldn't break his bonds or helios didn't come back until medea gathered his essence. but even with that slight hope, the situation is still bad since he can’t tap into that essence anymore. he Can’t take it back like earlier because there is No One to take it back. it’s all he is now, and all he is now is not in control of himself. he’s like metis now Lol.
but i bring up helios because in theory, this could mean someone like medea could gather that tiny bit of essence and somehow. idk. find a surrogate ig. this is all thought up of in the moment btw i know its Rough.
(in reference to this and this ask)
@the-ant-in-amber hallucination anon is back with receipts!!!!!

So I saw this post and brain started to brain:
I have seen multiple jangobi fics where Obi-wan is a personification of the darksaber. And it's a fun concept. So let's go with that.
Tor isn't dead at the start of the Year on the Run. But he hears that A'thonha Krys'e got a jedi protector for his daughters before Tor managed to kill him. And there's a very real chance that he'll end up having to fight the jedi.
And Tor is a coward.
The darksaber does *not* cooperate with him. If anything, it actively fights him. But he does have access to some ...interesting records.
There's a ritual, which doesn't actually require a Force user. The records say that it will make it easier to communicate with the dark saber. Tor, like most modern mandos, assumes it's metaphorical.
When the ritual is done, the darksaber is gone.
Instead, Tor's left with a jedi padawan that bolts the second they have the chance. More than one member of Death Watch thinks he's managed to curse them somehow.
------
The last time Obi-wan Kenobi was awake, both his master and Tarre's were dead. They'd managed to escape the sith temple, but not without costs. Tarre had been injured, practically blinded between the severed tresses and burns, and Obi-wan had been bleeding out. Neither of them had had their lightsabers.
It had been a *stupid* idea, but it had been the only one they had. Tuang blood or not, Obi-wan was still stewjoni and Force-sensitive. The stories Grandmother had told them said that before the tuange had come, Stewjoni could *become* kyber.
But Obi-wan had not been trained as a Stewjoni. His parents had sent him to the Jedi in a fit of desperation when they realised there was no hiding his Force-sensitivity from the mandos. He didn't know *how* to become kyber.
Somehow, he managed it.
-----
Qui-Gon Jinn is exasperated with the Krys'e heirs. Satine, made Dutchess far too young, wants peace even as she rages with an anger that reminds him all too much of Xanatos. Bo-katan is a traumatised child, and it is ...easier, in ways. He has taken classes before on helping traumatised children for all that it has been too long and he's never spent exte.ded time with a child who wasn't... wasn't his.
It is a very good thing that he is a jedi master. If he were not, then when he comes across a padawan, alone, in mandalorian space, without a lightsaber, and all too willing to kill—
Well. As it is, he still takes the first opportunity to trust the now three teenagers to someone else and go have a meltdown. (First *safe* opportunity, that is).

I see people saying that Silco ultimately had Zaun’s best interests at heart, but I disagree. I think HE definitely thinks that, but at the end of the day, actions speak louder than words. Silco didn’t act like a revolutionary. He acted like a wannabe Piltie who disguised his rhetoric with vague plans of rebellion and monologues 😭😭😭
Disclaimer: I love Silco! He’s one of my favorite characters in Arcane and I think he was a fabulous villain. Not quite THE big bad(that title is reserved for the institution of Piltover and its apathy and downright callousness towards the Undercity) but he was definitely a villain at the end of the day. No amount of “nuance” or “character complexity” is gonna erase that
Let’s start with the obvious: the fact that he fully planned on killing Powder before she launched herself into his arms and he realized how similar they were. I’m sorry, but in my mind, no one who’s willing to kill children is a revolutionary. Sorry. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️Only reason why he didn’t is because he saw himself in her. If he truly believed in revolution, he could’ve done youth outreach programs to get young people involved in protests, and given them classes on what to do/how to prepare for when the enforcers show up to shut them down. That’s a real thing that’s been done before btw. I know Arcane is fiction, but it deals with politics that mirror our real world struggles. If Silco actually backed up his claims of wanting freedom for Zaun, he’d do things like this.
To continue this, the creation of Shimmer. Silco claims it’s needed in order to give Zaunites the strength they need to fight back against Piltover. Which, again, I’m sure he believes that, but come on. Creating a monopoly on a highly addictive drug that permanently disfigures its users when they take too much is not the way to go about it. Modeling the capitalist system of Piltover is ultimately not going to help. Shimmer does make people feel empowered, yes. But that empowered feeling doesn’t last long, and when you come down from your high, all you want is more, more, more. So where does that leave you?
It leads you to living out on the streets, willing to do anything for your next hit. That’s what happened to Huck, and we don’t even know how many others. Silco never once expressed concern for the wellbeing of the addicts that he created! What kind of revolutionary would toss his own people to the side when they’re no longer useful to him?
Speaking of the drugs, why does he have children working in his factories? Now, child labor is a very complex issue. I’m from the States, so we’re generally (or we claim to be anyway) against child labor. In other countries however, children not only work, but they protest and fight for their right to work. They take pride in their work. So I don’t want to debate the morality of child labor. I wanted to bring it up for the sake of the argument. Let’s say that child labor is a cultural norm in the Undercity. That brings me back to my original question: why does Silco have kids working in his factories? Child labor isn’t the issue; it’s the kind of labor they’re doing and the level of danger they could be in. What kinds of things are the kids that work in Silco’s factories responsible for? Do they get equal pay to their adult counterparts? Worker’s comp if something happens/they get injured on the job? Are there even protections in place so that there are little to no injuries? These are questions which we can’t even begin to answer, because Silco never brings it up!
He never talks about the ways in which he sets out to improve not just the lives of child laborers in Zaun, their adult counterparts, or people in Zaun, period! He only ever talks about “the nation of Zaun” in the abstract. Never once does he sit down and ask himself if this is the best way to go about it. I’m pro revolution. I absolutely believe that the people of Zaun have the right to fight back against their oppressors. But, with the way Silco was acting, he functionally became another oppressor.
Let’s say he was able to make a deal with Jayce and secure the Undercity’s freedom without having to sacrifice Jinx. What would that even look like? What does Silco know about running a government? How would he address the population of Shimmer addicts he manufactured? You can’t just get rid of/stop the production of Shimmer and leave those people without support! It’s true that the air was cleaner under Silco’s reign. But “cleaner” is the operative word. Doesn’t mean it was completely clean. And if people in Zaun didn’t even have clean air, who’s to say they had access to clean water and good food? Did Silco ever do anything to address those issues or did he, along with the rest of the chembarons, acquire enough capital to tell working class and underprivileged Zaunites “fuck you, I got mine”?
To summarize, Silco SAYS he wants freedom from Piltover’s oppression. He SAYS he wants to give his people the power to fight back. But actions speak louder than words. I can’t think of a single action that Silco took that benefited anyone outside of him and those closest to him. Realistically speaking he would have been a terrible leader for Zaun, and it all would’ve fallen apart when he died/was killed for his lack of leadership skills. It was only a matter of time imo.
Did he ever truly want to remove the boot from the Undercity’s neck? Or did he just want to be the one wearing it? I’m leaning towards the latter. But maybe that’s just me.

been thinking about how bitsy’s an herbalist who makes “magic healing” out of like basic ass medicinal plants that apparently very few people know about other than her and the way a lot of the npcs and even some of the pcs talk about pottsville, and what if instead of it being just a normal generic town that kicked someone out over lemons, it turns out to be like an in world equivalent of a puritan colony and they exiled bitsy for “witchcraft” bc of her medicines and she just made up the lemon thing (or mistook it for the reason they didn’t like her)
although that wouldn’t really line up with how receptive they were to corn and corn alone day, unless booker was convincing them it was religious in nature (which is possible esp since the money he was taking was specifically guised as alms, which is usually religiously connotative wording for donations) they’d likely hear about anything remotely reminiscent of a holiday and be like “gtfo”
