When he was 12 he made a ponysona and Heavy found it and used it as blackmail until Dee took the picture back and burned it.

Kids at his school make fun of him because he looks feminine so he now wears a cologne that is called something like "MANLY MAN SMELL"

Kids at Dee preschool/kindergarten used to play with his hair and that would cause him to have sensory issues and when his Dad came to pick him up, he noticed Dee had scratched his arm to the point it was slightly bleeding. That incident made Glam take Dee out of that preschool and basically just keep him at home with him, Vicky, and Heavy.

Dee and Lif have a Spotify playlist that they both add songs too daily.

Heavy and Dee once dyed a strand of their hair the color of the others hair (Dee dyed his orange/Heavy dyed his blonde)

Dee charges Lif less for his services but charges Heavy more (he calls it "the brother tax")

I know I've posted so much shit about Dee and Metal Family in the past 2-ish days, but I have more.

Everything about Dee's interactions in S2.E2 is hilarious.

Although I might be laughing at him because I've done basically half of the same things.

INCLUDING once accidentally showing someone I liked (friend) a preplanned conversation instead of the other thing I meant to show them.

And also my issue with being like "welll.... I do know where you live" but not in a bad way, just a "I know where you are for hangouts" way. But it always comes off as weird cause I don't know how to tone it.

Dee is a lot like me, which may be why I love him so much. He is my favorite, and I can not get enough of this goddamn content.

And, aside from that thing of me just absolutely loving Dee's interactions because they remind me of me. S2.E1, you know how I mentioned that I hc Dee as a trans guy? Still believe that even with the fact Victoria calls him 'princess' and 'her' because in all honesty, I believe that Victoria only says it playfully. And it's an old habit from before Dee truly came out to her, but he doesn't really object to it, only getting a bit annoyed from it (but knowing she means it lovingly) if anyone else did that, he'd get pissed.

Also, can we please talk about how awesome it is that despite it not being explicitly stated (at least so far from what I've seen) in the show that Dee is neurodivergent that he is stated to have neurodivergent traits but they're not shown in an exaggerated or overly simplified way??? This made me SO happy because goddamnit I want more characters like that! (Heavy also does that for me, on a lesser level. But that might just be because I don't favor him as much as I do with Dee.) I love my ND characters so much, and I'm so glad that I have more now. It's actually been making me smile a shit ton, and has severely helped my mood.

(Of course that also means I'm neglecting finishing the episodes I have access to because I don't want it to "end" or be "over," but at the same time goddamnit I want to binge it. Heavy absolutely ADORES you! Literally bouncing off the walls when you come walking in with his brother. He was at first taken a back from how much polar opposite’s you and Dee are but quickly got over it after realizing how sweet you are!.

Ok so I’ve come up with a couple of headcannons abt the metal family

Glam loves caramel popcorn

(Ches ran out of regular buttered popcorn for movie night so he used a packet of caramel popcorn at first glam was hesitant but he ended up falling in love with it.)

Dee loves baking, ches taught him how but he’ll deny loving it if asked however he will constantly make baked goods and pass them out to the family and ches when he’s over

Glam sometimes stays up really late and is unable to get to bed until late as his body feels as though it’s still on his fathers schedule

His body is still stuck on the staying up until late hours of the night to either practice or meet up with ches and just about the only people who can get him to sleep when that happens are ches or (if she finds out) Vickey who will drag him to bed or if it’s really bad call ches if he’s not already their

Victoria went to every show ches and glam played after the two met just so she could hang out with the two and see glam

Some of my favorite characters that I think are systems or system coded:

Glam: Metal Family: I've heard this theory a few times, and it usually comes with he has 3 alters in his system (that we can see in the show) those are Glam, Sebastian, and an introject of his dad (whom we see front/cocon in the episode where Dee wants to learn to play guitar)

Blue Beetle/Jaime Reyes: Young Justice/DC comics: now we only know him from the yj show, so this is based on that. His relationship with Scarab greatly mirrors that of which we have with alters in our own system. They start off disagreeing and fighting for control, but by the end of the season we meet them they come to a sort of agreement. They don't completely get rid of their conflict, but they learn to cope with each other

Firestorm: DC comics: I see this most with Jax and Stein in DCs legends of tomorrow, but I also see it in comics and other shows I've seen with them in it. While they do technically have separate bodies, they combine into one when they become Firestorm. When not combined in most media they're still connected, and in Legends they often confuse each other's feelings for their own, which is something that happens to us a lot. They also often argue over what to do when sharing a body

Zari: DCs legends of tomorrow: in DCs legends, there's a plot line where the first Zari we meet is half erased from the timeline, and replaced with a new Zari. However because of a magic amulet that gave Zari he powers, Zari one was still around. Eventually Zari one and Zari two figure out a schedule for being in control of the body.

Butters: South Park: I've seen this theory a few times before, and I like it. Personally I think the alters we see through the show are Butters, Marjorine, and Professor Chaos(later Vic Chaos). This one is more of a headcannon than system coding, however I still like it

Metal Family (One-Shot)

Especial San Valentín (1/2)

14 de Febrero. Vicky sabe que es un día muy especial, pero remolonea en la cama hasta las siete (aunque la alarma lleve sonando desde las seis.)

Se levanta con cuidado, tratando de no mover mucho las sábanas para no despertar a Glam, y se queda mirando una chancla hasta las siete y cuarto, hora en la que oye a su esposo emitir un gruñido como si se fuera a despertar.

Finalmente, Vicky se espabila y abandona la habitación, no sin antes lanzar un profundo suspiro de cansancio "Lo que hago por amor..."

Se dirige a la cocina con paso rápido, un poco alertada por si Glam despierta. Trata de agudizar el oído, aunque sabe que el hombre se mueve como un fantasma, y llega a la cocina donde la esperan sus hijos.

Dee está enfadado, y Heavy está dormido sobre la encimera, apoyando la cabeza en un empaque de pan de molde a modo de almohada.

-Llevamos aquí desde las seis- le gruñe su hijo. Vicky se retira el cabello de la cara para hacerse la trenza mientras cierra los ojos muy dignamente

-Estaba cansada. Tú no sabes lo que es trabajar- Dee alza una ceja, lo que da a entender que la excusa no ha colado. Vicky chasquea la lengua y mira al pequeño tratando de cambiar el tema- ¿Y él qué hace aquí?

-Sabe hacer la salsa de fresa como le gusta a papá. Despierta- y le quita el pan de la cabeza. Se oye un sonido hueco sobre la encimera, y enseguida Heavy está despierto y listo para la acción

-¡El desayuno! ¡Mi salsa! ¡Los waffles!

-Callate, cabeza de comino- le dice Dee con mal humor- Gritas mucho, y papá no debe de enterarse.

Si Heavy y Dee están ahí, es porque a Vicky no se le da bien cocinar. Eso pueden deducirlo los dos hermanos cuando se percatan de que las tostadas salen quemadas y el tomate termina descuartizado sobre la tabla. Apenas logran salvar un poco de pulpa, y se dan cuenta de que el tiempo se les echa encima y que Glam deberá conformarse con eso.

Heavy bate las fresas y pone generosas cantidades de azúcar. Dee le intenta explicar que eso es demasiado dulce, pero Heavy lo rebate diciendo que es una ocasión especial y, por ello, ha de ser muy dulce. Dee levanta las manos en señal de paz y se dedica en cuerpo y alma a la masa de los waffles, que queda levemente cruda (porque a él le gusta sentir el sabor del huevo).

Nueve y cuarto. El desayuno ha sido oficialmente terminado. Vicky lo pone todo en una bandeja y ordena a sus hijos que limpien la cocina. Les ha dado tiempo de exprimir una naranja incluso, lo que significa que Heavy tiene el ojo irritado y está encharcando el suelo en un intento desesperado por limpiarlo.

Sube por las escaleras, un tanto temblorosa. El café se derrama un poco, pero todo llega a salvo a su destino; la cama de matrimonio.

Vicky lo llama, y Glam se despierta sorpresivamente rápido.

-Vaya, que dormilón- le dice ella, y él simplemente esboza su eterna sonrisa sin decir nada más que un leve "Umh", a modo de afirmación.- Pues mientras el señor dormía, YO he madrugado para prepararle un buen desayuno

-Ya lo veo- le responde- muchas gracias Vicky. Luce exquisito

Glam le da un mordisco a los waffles, y el sabor del huevo se mezcla amargamente con la fresa azucarada en una sensación muy poco grata. Aún con todo, se lo traga y mira a su esposa como si aquello fuera lo más delicioso del mundo. Le toma de las manos y le dice:

-Eres la mejor.

-¿Es mejor que tu desayuno?- ya que es Glam quien suele cocinar

-Sin duda

Vicky se pone colorada, riéndose como una niña, y se sienta al lado de su esposo con cuidado de no tirar la bandeja.

Glam le da un beso en los labios antes de degustar su extraño desayuno: siente la crudeza y la admiración de Dee en los waffles y en la rosa decorativa, la dulzura de Heavy en la salsa y el zumo, y la adorable torpeza de su esposa en las tostadas y el café semi-derramado, y se da cuenta de que ese es el mejor regalo de San Valentín que podría darle su familia. Su adorada familia.

First things first...

I put forth this as circumstantial evidence for transmasc Dee:

In the escape room episode (S1.E6), when the lady says "boys vs. girls," Glam and Victoria immediately give this look of anger and judgement to her, while Heavy looks shocked by the comment. Dee, however, gives a little smirk/scoff like he was saying, "that was the wrong thing to say." or like he was trying to brush it off.

However, we do get to see in a frame afterward that he isn't quite back to his normal "poker/no time for bs" face, and instead, he looks uncomfortable. (Not to mention crossing arms over the chest where the breast line would be, which I, myself did/do a lot whenever I think someone notices/when I feel like I don't 'pass')
