The sound of movement outside is enough to rouse Iggy from his slumber. A groan rumbles in his throat as rubs the sleep from his eyes. Sitting up straight, he reaches for his gun. "Who the hell is creepin' around at this hour." The man mutters to himself. Despite his bodies call to return to sleep, he drags himself toward the window. Pulling the curtain back, he peeks out at the trespasser. "You alrigh' out there?"

Her hiss and wince of pain as Simon poked and prodded the gash in her leg answered for her. She needed to stop wandering out on her own unless she wanted to get eaten by geckos. Which also happened to be one of the more embarrassing ways she could think of to die out here. “I’m a big girl, I can handle it.”

Allister had committed his fair share of crimes in the wasteland, at least by pre-war standards, but right now he was committing the worst of all.. the disgusting.. breaking and entering. Though, the ruined building that he was slowly working a steel door off of was only inhabited likely by ferals. Normally he would just walk past such a place, but the radiation alert on his helmet told him there was a possibility of a fusion core inside.. or a very bloated feral but either way he needed in.

He was prying the door, trying to not just run through the wall as it'd likely collapse on him and he didn't want to be buried alive, but he seemed completely unaware of his surroundings. Even as the stranger approached he didn't slow or stop, his focus was kept on the door until they were close enough.

"Continue to sneak up on me, and I'll set off those explosives I buried under your feet. Identify yourself."

It wasn't like Cheyenne to hide away from strangers. She either hated you and you knew it, constant growling if not outright barking, or she couldn't get enough of you and sometimes Sunny worried she'd prefer to wander off with their new friend...

But Cheyenne didn't like being around this fella at all. The dog whined and then made herself scarce, hanging out next to Trudy behind the bar while Sunny and this stranger were in the lounge.

Sunny laid the pool stick on the table, having offered up a game of pool to the odd looking guy to break the ice. But she didn't trust him.

"If it's all the same to you, I'm not entirely sure I want you outta my sight..." Sunny paused momentarily, her good nature turning steady very fast, "See, you got my dog all anxious... So either you're up to something, and you should probably leave, or you've gotten yourself into something so bad she can smell it. Either way, I got a duty to protect this town."

Babysitting duty calls, Klarion

It another world threatening battle for the justice league, young justice against the league of Villains and chaos children before most of the chaos children froze as if they sense something bad was approaching and immediately dipped out.. except klarion whom was fighting with raven who immediately froze up too late in front of the portal.

Only for a green portal to appear, as a worned out floating glowing green, but blue skinned teenage boy who turn into a man with red eyes, a clock staff in hand and a glowing white hair baby in a baby carrier.

Klarion is literally struggling like a feral cat who got wet in cold water against some invisible force speaking in some odd static like language before giving up after half a minute when the man spoke back with a short word.

The man now just shape-shifting into turn elderly just gave klarion the baby carrier before noticing how the heroes and villains have stop in mid battles looking at both klarion and him.

"All in soon time, but be warn Flashes whom break the laws of times will get their due if you keep messing with the past and future." Spoken the elderly now shape-shifted into a young boy before he turn back to klarion leaving him a note and glowing baby bag before floating back into the swirling green portal.

Klarion could only look at note with his eye twitching, Teekl meowing as she climb into the baby carrier purring around the glowing baby.

"Why do I keep getting babysitting duty, it so unfa-..." klarion grumbled as he pick up the baby carrier and bag teleporting away..

"What just happened?" Said Dick whom only one question would be put on hold til later in the watchtower of what just happen before the fight resuming with the young and original justice league winning since the league of Villains were distracted.

Imagine, if you will, Respawn ending up in the least important town in all of Illinois hoping to lay low for a while whilst planning to completely wreck Damian’s shit only to get shot at by some rogue government agents, kill said government agents, accidentally out some meta kid to the entire town while he tries to keep him from killing more government agents (who have not stopped shooting at either of them), save him by coincidence while making his escape, and having to flee the state with said weird metahuman kid (he’s like the third person to ever treat him like an actual human so he decided not to leave him behind) on the world’s third-worst roadtrip in order to rock up to Batman’s actual house to convince him to clear their names and get rid of the anti-ecto acts, with his only point of bartering being him pinky promising that he’ll definitely stop trying to kill Damian this time

And all of this happens over the course of like three days
