I'm so happy to show you the artwork I made for the @deancasanimebang.

It was an honor to work together with @golby-moon and @zybynarx.

I really, really recommend Golby's fic based on BNHA anime. Oh boy, the mystery and the action and the romance! A perfect match with Dean's funny POV.

I had the awesome opportunity to work the amazing @golby-moon and @verobatto on the @deancasanimebang ! Golby did the story, Verobatto did the story artwork and I did the promotional artwork!

So usually with bangs, promotional art is done as a banner. And I was planning to do that, but then I thought to myself, "hey... this is an anime bang... why not make the promotional art like a manga cover instead?" So after checking with my teammates and getting their approval, I came up with this!

Our story is a BNHA crossover, so I looked at a lot of the manga covers drawn up for the series as inspiration. I had a lot of fun with it and am really proud of what the final result turned out to be!

I collaborated with @golby-moon on the art portion of team Pokemon's fic - I did the banner, and they did the embed story art! I also added some extra art while I was figuring out how Dean and Cas would look as challengers/trainers within the likeness of the fic 🤗

excited to finally share my pieces for the @deancasanimebang! @bleuzombie's cowboy bebop fusion immediately got my attention and their story was a great inspiration for dramatic scenes and tones. also honoured to work with @nickelkeep and their versatility of being both the beta and other artist for the story. this event got me to try different approaches and styles when drawing that i'm very satisfied by and will try out more in the future.

I am a very simple single brain celled-organism: I see pokemon, I click. this time for the @deancasanimebang whoo

due to having way more artists than authors, this bang had kind of a weird system where two artists were paired to each fic. for this one, @keikakudom did the banner and some bonus character designs (and also had the idea to do pixel art to reference the game which was definitely a fun change) and I did some silly art pieces for it

here's Dean and Cas meeting in the fic. I'm not too great at pixel art really since my style in general is pretty two dimensional and I don't do much as far as shading or color blending goes but idk I think it turned out okay. I especially like how Cas' Cubone turned out here since it actually kinda looks like a Cubone. Chansey too really though most of it is off-screen. tried to do a simple Pokemon Center-y background that keeps the colored line art thing I had going on originally before swapping it to black outlines (which is a lot more eye-catching)

I did another little piece for this fic with Dean and Cas walking out of Raphael's gym and off into a new life together (with Chansey and Cubone ofc). I kinda based the background off of Pokemon Platinum's Veilstone fighting type gym with the tires and punching bags and...boxing rings? idk fighting types man who knows

but yeah it was fun collaborating on this. never worked on a team before this bang so it was fun to try that out

what I didn't take on too many things for the @deancasanimebang what are you talking about (nah but four is probably a little excessive, even for me. there were just too many options gjkfd)

this one is for an Avatar: the Last Airbender crossover, and I didn't actually see even a minute of the show before swooping in and snatching up the fic to make art for and that probably says something about me...maybe

this bang had a unique thing where way more artists signed up than authors so every fic had two artists to go with it. my partner for this one was @alicetallula, who did two additional art pieces found here :0

we actually did this banner together with them doing the character line art (hence why they don't have disproportionately huge heads and/or eyes) and text and me doing the coloring and background. never done a collaboration or anything like that before so this was actually really fun to try out and I think it did turn out pretty good, even if my coloring skills aren't exactly exceptional gfdhuj

did this piece on my own, with Cas showing Gabriel his waterbending skills in the form of bubbling some fish (which get eaten in the fic :'0). the grassy is kinda messy and the angle is definitely a new one for me, but various people in the bang's chat as well as my art-partner for this bang helped ensure I didn't fumble anything too badly and the people still looked like people (or as much as they ever do in my style anyway)

tallula really helped me make the bubble look like a bubble and was also just really fun to bounce ideas off of in general? really improved both art pieces I think and it was maybe just nice to have someone to talk/complain to as well ahghfdj

overall I did enjoy working on this fic though both because of the team and just the the fic itself. also forced me to finally slide atla off my ever-increasing and never-decreasing to-watch list and onto my equally stagnant currently-watching list 🎉

Here’s the last line I wrote. Not telling you what it’s from. Im in @deancashorrorfest @deancasanimebang @bsideminibang, @dadstielminibang and probably something else I haven’t started yet.

Dean is like a wild tiger that has chosen to honor Castiel with his splendor. He grabs Castiel, blood covered fingers gripping his coat, staining the fabric like the stain Dean has left of Castiel’s grace. He pushes their lips together, copper flooding his senses along with the taste of Dean.
