You know that thing some dogs (apparently most common with Shepards) do where they put their mouth around another creature’s ENTIRE head? Like often a smaller dog or cat? No biting or anything, just wide open mouth with a friend now in it?

Anyway, Dog Dean could never do it to Jackalope Cas due to antlers, but fallen rabbit Cas…

(Plus the added benefit of WAY more efficient scenting for Dean. It may or may not give any bystanders a heart attack tho. Rabbit Cas just keeps his ears down and out of the way and accepts it every time lol he even asked Dean to do it once, while Cas’s ears were getting cold and Dean was all I got you buddy *nom*)
