Bruce’s fingers hovered over the keys of the Batcomputer, eyes scanning over the files of a particularly complicated case. But then, a gentle tug at the hem of his cape broke his focus. He blinked, glancing over his shoulder.

There stood Tim, his small frame dwarfed by the shadows of the Batcave, but his presence was unmistakable.

Tim stood there, small and quiet, fingers still gripping the fabric like he hadn’t quite decided if he was allowed to ask for attention. His hoodie sleeves were too long, hiding his hands, his hoodie was up, he had that tired look, and his hair was sticking up slightly—meaning he’d probably just woken up.

Bruce didn’t say anything at first. He simply shifted his chair slightly, making space, giving an unspoken invitation.

Tim hesitated, glancing at the Batcomputer screen, scanning for anything that might indicate Bruce was too busy. He must not have found anything urgent, because after a moment, he let go of the cape and hesitated, shifting on his feet.

Then, slowly, he reached up, wordlessly asking. Bruce understood immediately. Without a second thought, he pulled the kid into his lap, wrapping his cape around him like a protective cocoon. Tim carefully climbed into Bruce’s lap, curling up against his chest like a little bird seeking warmth.

Bruce exhaled, feeling the tension from hours of work ease just a fraction. He pressed a hand to the back of Tim’s head, rubbing slow circles over his scalp.

Tim curled up against him, pressing his face into Bruce’s chest, little hands gripping the armored fabric of his suit. He was small, too small for his age, but he was warm and safe now. Bruce rested a hand on his back, rubbing slow circles.

“Can’t sleep?” he asked softly.

Tim gave a tiny nod, then hesitated before clicking quietly—words forming in Marked-Tongue.

’Nightmare.’

Bruce hummed low in his chest, a deep, grounding sound. “It's okay, I'm here." He dropped his head to nuzzle the younger cryptid. "You're safe, pup.”

Tim tucked his face further into Bruce’s chest in response. He didn’t purr—not yet—but his breathing slowed, matching the steady rise and fall of Bruce’s own.

Bruce didn’t move back to his case right away. The city could wait a little longer.

His cub needed him.

He was proud of his third(? Steph was basically Tim's twin, but she was about four months older) youngest for getting this far. When Bruce, Dick, and Jason had first found him and Steph as two runaways on the streets, they'd been so damn scared.

Steph had adjusted faster since she hadn't had it as bad, but only because she ran away earlier. Tim's father? Tim father had literally damaged the cub's vocal cords.

Now his sweet little boy could only speak Mark-Tongue without trouble, and English even hurt sometimes. And even then, he only felt safe enough to speak around his siblings and dad.

So this -seeking out comfort and actually leaning into it- was progress and it made his heart swell.

Screw Jack.

Tim was his cub now.

Invincible and Dc Crossover.

Mark is Reader’s boyfriend and he comes over to visit her, only to find out how shit her family is.

In this au, Reader could even be the Atom!Eve, since Eve’s family as totally shit as well. Hey, it means she gets a sibling relationship with Oliver.

Bruce when he realises that his child’s boyfriend’s dad is a fucking maniac and so is the boyfriend: 😐

Fun fact the reason I made my last post was because I just got into Invincible and I was like “you know what? This shit slaps”

Change in Family

Okay, let’s do this one more time.

If we go for the Atom Eve!Reader route, then we know what the batfamily is like. More of the same with any other neglected!Readers. But this would be worse as you’re considered to be a Meta and we all know how Batman feels about Metas in Gotham

Let’s say we go with the similar stories of neglected readers. You were ignored and tormented by certain robins (Damien lol), you only had Alfred and/or Duke, you gained your powers in your senior year, graduate and moved away to leave your family behind, with the occasional calls from Alfred and Duke.

You joined the Guardian of the Globe to save people, and that’s where you meet Mark Grayson, this slightly awkward and shy kid who is apparently the son of THE Omni-Man. You were obviously intimidated by this dude, but soon your feelings got the better of you, and you fell for Mark.

Saving his ass was one way to get him to fall for you too. Unethical way for romance, but hey, a big win for you. He fell harder for you, and you both decided to get your feelings out of the way and had your kiss on the battlefield, immediately getting scolded by Cecil.

OR-

We have a none super story where you were the only normal kid in your family, the familiar story goes where you met Mark at college. You needed a fresh start that didn’t involve being in the shadows of the Waynes, so having all this hard work and studies is better than nothing.

You actually didn’t technically meet in college, you met when some villain was in the city and crashed into the campus, where you were almost crushed if it weren’t for Invincible. You had your fair share of attacks back at Gotham, so he was surprised when he saw your calm demeanor before getting back into fighting the villain.

After a while he caught up to you as Mark Grayson, who awkwardly stumbled next to your seat and rambling about the attack earlier, and he mentioned about seeing you almost getting killed, even more shocked to see you shrugging.

“It happens more than you think, especially in Gotham,” He was amazed you moved all the way from Gotham, and it just went on from there. You eventually found out he was Invincible after months of being friends, with in turn became dating.

No matter which path you choose

You are adored by Mark, which extends to his family. Oliver looks up to you, whether or not you’re human or Atom Eve!Reader, he sees the way Mark has heart eyes for you, and he declared you to be the best future sister-in-law ever.

You would always recreate his toys to be cooler, despite Debbie’s raised eyebrow and crossed arms at your sheepish smile while Oliver played with a heat seeking foam missile.

Of course, you kept in touch with Alfred, telling you the adventures you went on as Atom Eve, or your studies if you were human. You never told him about your boyfriend as despite being the only father figure you know (the addition of Cecil and Nolan), you knew his opinions about metas.

Your calls with Alfred eventually led you to work up the courage and confess to him that you have a boyfriend, and you don’t know by the look on the butler’s face that he was proud or horrified.

You could feel the glare of Alfred through the phone when you moved the camera to face Mark. Poor guy was sweating bullets by the stare he gave. “I-Is he going to… kill me?” He meeked asked, “I mean he almost killed Superman with not even Kryptonite… so I wouldn’t be too worried?” You sheepishly replied.

Unfortunately, your confession about Mark was being eavesdropped by Stephanie, who spat out her orange juice and tackled the phone out of Alfred’s hands, shouting into the phone -which in turn the whole manor- about; “(NAME)!! SINCE WHEN DID YOU MOVED OUT?! AND MANAGED TO HAVE THAT DORK BAG A BADDIE LIKE YOU?!”

What a snitch, now your other siblings are freaking out at the fact you moved out. “Yeah, for ONE year!! The fact you didn’t notice is very comforting!” you scoffed, all the while Mark was awkwardly laying next to you.

Bruce was distraught, not just the fact you were far away, but you have a BOY in your ROOM!! It doesn’t matter if you had a girl, boy, genderfluid or non-binary!! Why are you dating?!

“You shouldn’t be dating at your age!” He shouted through the phone, “I’m 21!!” You said in disbelief, making Mark cover his mouth to hide his smile while you elbowed him.

Dick was more distraught than Bruce if that was even possible. He was trying to tear the phone away from Bruce while crying his eyes out. “B-Baby bird!! Why did you leave us?! You shouldn’t be out there filled with overpowered monsters!! You should be inside the manor where it’s safer!! I-in fact, we’re coming right now!!”

You panicked, trying to find and excuse to sway them. If you choose Option A: Confess you have powers and is the hero Atom Eve “I’ve had powers since I was 16!!” You showed them through the phone by making one of Mark’s rock collection into a statue of a middle finger.

Or Option B: Throw Mark under the bus and say you have Invincible as your boyfriend to protect you. “He’s half-Viltrumite! He can protect me more than Batman!” You pulled Mark to your hip.

If you choose either one, congratulations!! Both were the wrong answers!! Now you either have your family freaking out that you had powers and only told Alfred, or they’re freaking out that you’re dating Invincible.

Whatever the outcome, you hid in the home of Mark, where Debbie treated you like you were her child, and Nolan? He approved of you so that’s good.

“Babe, it’s okay! Maybe they actually want to make amends with you!” Mark being the optimist he is he tired to reassure you while you shook your head. “You don’t know my family like I do, Mark! They only care now because of Steph eavesdropping! They wouldn’t even have remembered me if it weren’t for- UGH!!”

If you were Atom Eve! Reader, your frustration would’ve gotten a few items from Mark’s room turned into liquid. Human! Reader would’ve just kicked Mark’s chair to the ground. Mark frowned before holding you close.

“I’m sorry for whatever you been through. I promise you, they won’t take you away from your home. Away from me,” You wiped your tears of frustration and smiled at him, kissing him softly before hugging him again.

Mark wasn’t going to let your neglectful family to finally see you as one of their own, for they had years to do so. He confided to his dad, worried that you will be sent back to Gotham.

“If you want me to give them a total beatdown, I’m on it!” Oliver grinned while the Nolan boys were in an open field to talk about your situation.

“I don’t want to lose them, dad. I love them so much, a-and they want to take that away from me!!” He shouted before sending a boulder into the sky. Nolan simply hummed while floating next to Mark.

“Son… You know how much I love your mother,” Mark nodded, “I would do anything for her. (Name), they mean so much to you as well. They even managed to wiggle themselves into this family,” He chuckled.

“Duh! You gotta show those dorks that we ain’t gonna to let anything slide with us! (Name) is practically family!” Oliver floated upside down while attempting to land.

“They’re yours now Mark, and you can’t let others take what’s yours…” Usually, Mark would question such words his father would say, but he was right. You are his just as much as he is yours, and he’d be damned if he let these neglectful people show up suddenly.

“Don’t worry dad, I won’t let them go. Ever,” Nolan smiled softly, “Good, because between the three of us, your mother got more attached to (Name) than we did,” Mark laughed, but knew that Debbie loved you more.

There would be a dinner, hosted by the gracious Bruce Wayne to show he means no harm, (to you of course he’s going to kill this Mark). It was time to meet the family, the Nolan’s included.

Cecil is on watch with the GotG (not those guardians) as he grew attached to you as well, in case the Bats pull something, and Alfred has the Justice League on command to swoop in just in case things got ugly.

“It’s so great to have the family back together for dinner,” Bruce smiled brightly as you were forced to sit between him and Selina, who was amused by this whole ordeal, but was still happy you were back.

With the state down between Mark and Nolan vs the Bats, Debbie and Selina were casually talking and in their own vibe.

“You must be Selina Kyle. Debbie Nolan, and I must say you definitely manage to hold down this family with a lover who is… delusional,” Debbie chuckled, “No judge though, been there,” Selena grinned while clinking her glass.

“Glad you like my style, truly amazing to see how the men try to pin against each other when we could really need the extra support in keeping them safe,” They already agreed that you were the number one priority between families and that you will be protected.

“Psst, you already got dirt on them?” Steph whispered to Barbara and Tim as they typed on their tablets under the table. They nodded as they gave glared at them, to which Mark glared back before focusing his lovey dovey eyes back on you.

It made them furious to see how he touched you (holding your hand) how he pampered you (gave you a kiss) how vile he is (he blushed when you complimented him).

“Baby bird, may I ask why you’re dating a hero who has the same last NAME as me?!” Dick accused, making you and Mark look at each other before an awkward silence filled dinner. Jason had the decency to stomp Dick’s foot hard to make him shut up.

Duke at least tried to give you his blessings, but even he knew something was up with your boyfriend’s family, specifically his dad. The way he stared at them as if they were mere ants.

Cass noticed too and they both spent called for backup of the Young Justice just in case.

“(Name), I find it absurd you take amusement in this Superman wannabe. Powers only make a being more perceptible to deadly scenarios,” Damien crossed his arms while glaring deadly daggers at Mark.

“Sooo, you’re their little brother? Pssh, I can already tell you’re a spoiled brat who thinks he’s better than everyone else here really he just has mommy issues,” Oliver smiled while stabbing his steak with his fork.

“Shut it, your purple grape!” Damien snarled, slamming his hands on the table, “At least I actually learned not to kill!” Oliver quipped, “Barely!” Both kids glared as you were about to just bolt out of here.

“Nolan Grayson,” Bruce cleared his throat, causing the shouting silence, “While I do appreciate you have given a roof over my dear (Name), I highly doubt it would be safe for them to continue living at your residence. They’ll be better staying here,” He said with a steady tone.

“Bruce-,” You started, but Nolan simply hummed, “Funny, I think it’ll be better for them to be protected by someone who they actually call dad,” Ohhh that made Bruce furious.

If things so seriously bad, then let’s just say that you’ll be seeing superhumans fight to the death just for you.

Meanwhile, Mark took you away from the outright war to give some kissing times with you.

Don’t get me started about the Markverse, that’ll give Bruce a stroke seeing them looking at you with hungry eyes.

DC X DP Soulmarks AU. Everyone has a soulmark somewhere on their body. The mark heats up if you’re in the same city as your soulmate

So Dani is around 17. Her soulmark is the green silhouette of Cujo just above her ankle. She been traveling for around 5 years now. Jazz (23) lives in Gotham as a therapist. The Anti ecto acts are in place.

Damian is also 17. His mark is on his hip, just below his shirt hem. It doesn’t really matter if he’s Robin or a different vigilante. Attends Gotham academy as a senior. Damian was always taught to believe that his soulmate was a weakness.

Dani stops by Gotham for the first time since Jazz moved there, and she decides she to stay after her soulmark heats up. After a little bit of forging, she attends GA as a senior. She covers her soulmark with pants and stuff like that.

She and Damian have a few classes together, and they get paired up for a project.

They go to library to study and found that they both enjoy each others company a lot more than they thought they would. They keep hanging out until they start to have a small crush on each other.

Damian doesn’t mention Dani to the Wayne brood in case they might pester him and stalk him and ruin his chances with Dani.

One day, they are hanging out and Dani’s pant leg slides up a bit and Damian saw Dani’s soulmark.

That same hour, Damian’s shirt rides up and Dani see his soulmark.

They essentially have the same reaction.

Dani: Damian is literally perfect and I’m so happy he’s my soulmate but we can’t be together because I’m a halfa and the AEA are ongoing so it’s too dangerous to tell him

Damian: Dani is literally perfect and I’m so happy she’s my soulmate but we can’t be together because I’m a vigilante and my mother is very deadly and it’s too dangerous to tell her

They just hide their feelings and continue like nothing every happened

At around the same time, Danny comes to Gotham tour the university when he meets Duke and they realize they’re soulmates.

After a couple of dates. Danny takes Duke to meet Dani and Jazz (Duke knows about Danny’s halfa status)

Duke sees Dani’s mark and asks her about it, thinking it’s a bit familiar.

Dani tells Duke she’s found her soulmate, but they can’t be together for now.

Duke comes home and (after making sure that Damian’s soulmark is the same as Dani’s) tell Damian that he knows who his soulmate is.

Damian confirms that he knows, but can’t be with her because he a vigilante.

Cue the multiple (failed) attempts by Duke and Danny to get them together

Winter Alley Guy on AO3

Chapter 1 : Winter Alley

Strange phenomenon had strike Gotham's Northaline street, located far outskirts of the crime ridden city near the borderline of the marked territory. The known 365 summer heat street has drastically transformed into a winter alley filled with snow and ice. This phenomenon has started ever since the arrival of an ice meta user. In fear that the newcomer is another rogue that might have association or relation with the infamous Mr. Freeze, the local inhabitants of the Northaline street have reluctantly accepted of the drastic change of their territory and appointed the white haired man as the Winter Alley Guy. 

Humans are social being that could easily adapt therefore an eternal winter won't be a problem for them because the ice meta seems to be not only marking up his territory by turning it into Antarctica but also reduce crime rates of the area. Soon the Northaline street is known as Winter Alley. Although located far from the heart of Gotham, near outskirt of the borderline where criminals smuggle illegal items in. Their winter alley guy will make sure that none will pass through. Winter Alley have their own version of Red Hood now and they're smug about it. 

Adorned in white long winter coat, matching white winter boots, snowboard googles pushed back on top of his floating snow colour hair, Danny scan through the snow filled alley. His core is sensing someone have invaded his haunt, unwelcomed. The halfa walks forward following the uncomfortable tugs in his core, accompanied by the crunching sounds of his winter boots stepping on the fresh snow. The ghost king tilt his head up, staring at the child hidden in the shadow. Perched on top of a stair railing is a raven haired child dressed in grey tunics, the fabric is far too thin to accommodate warmth and comfort for the cold temperature of Winter Alley. The combat boots and katana strapped on the leather belt holster is all that Danny needs to conclude that this child isn't an ordinary child. Not when death cloaked the child like a protective blanket and toxic ectoplasm clinging to the child's core like a parasite. 

Danny disliked the idea of the child going around parkouring, unsupervised and dressed in clothes unsuitable for cold. Danny see the signs of child neglect all over the child. His protective alarm is ringing a tad bit too loud to his likings. The six years old ignored the meta's question and squinted his eyes, glaring down at the glowing eyes meta with distrust. The meta's voice are strange, it sounds like multiple different voices trying to talk at the same time and muffled by statics sound effects. Perhaps the meta is using a voice modulator on his throat? The scowl on the child's face deepened at the thought of the meta user intimidation tactic. He is Damian Al Ghul, ابن الخفّاش (Ibn al Xu'ffasch), heir of the demon head, he is no coward nor weak. Ibn al Xu'ffasch, the son of Bat.

The young assassin has his hand ready on his Katana, ready to strike the strange guy. Normally anyone who giving an outburst or attitude to the ghost king will earn the same energy or attitude as spite. But this is a child, instead of harshly reprimand the child. "Ghost aren't real." The child argued. 

"Just because you never seen one doesn't meant they aren't real. Ghost usually reside in the infinite realm. There are a lot of knowledge that the realms could offer. But you're residing in one realm amongst infinite realms that exist and yet to exist. No mortal can attain full comprehension of what the realms have hidden and to offer." Danny informed, eyes glowing mischievously now that he successfully gained the child's, Damian, attention. "If you want to know more, you have to follow me. Or don't, if you're scared baby bat." The ghost king taunted and turning his heels around. 

The child scowled and descend down from the stairs railing. His feets quickly rush to walk alongside the meta. "If you trick me, I will end you." The brat threatened. 

Danny lead Damian to his apartment, motioning his hand for the child to sit on the sofa. Danny took off his winter coat, throwing it to a nearby armchair. The older man walked to his bedroom and retrieve a set of clothes and thick weighted blanket. Damian is handed over a green sweater and a basketball shorts. "You should change, must been freezing. Bathroom on the left." 

Damian took the clothes and grumpily walked towards the bathroom. After changing the child walked back to the sofa and get wrapped by a blue weighed blanket. "I am here for answers, not whatever this is!" The child barked.

"I don't know what kind of a guy you think I am. But I am not letting a child freezing his ass off because of pride." Danny frowned.

"I'll be fine, stop babying me. You're not my parents!" Damian scowled.

"I'm not but I am so close in calling the CPS on yours. What kind of parents let their child wondering in the winter alley with thin clothes and katana?" Danny argued, his hatred towards Damian's parents is rising. Having to endure a bad childhood of absent and irresponsible parents was traumatic enough. If he could safe Damian from the same experience, he will.

The six years old snorted, "Don't compare me with those weak, dumb, and emotionally sensitive spawns. I am raised in the league of assassins. I am far higher, capable, skilled and worthy than those group of babbling fools. A mere cold won't stop me nor slow me down in my mission of finding my father, I am the blood son of the bat. True heir amongst the fakes." The child boasted while spouting red flags all over his declaration. 

"Where is your mother? I need to have a word with her." Danny said, fuming that Damian's own mother put ridiculous ideology upon her child. 

"You won't find her here. She is in Nanda Parbat." Damian scoffed.

"And how old are you?" Danny eyes glance at the kid that he guess is six years old.

"I don't see what would my age have to do with this topic." Man, even the child's voice is more articulate than most kids in his age. Which is a big concern and red flag for the ghost king.

"Just answer the question, kid." "Six." A six years old, abandoned by the mother to search for his other parent in the cold winter alley with nothing but thin clothes and katana. Danny's core is screaming. At this point Danny don't even care if the father knows or haven't know the existence of Damian. He, Danny, High King of Infinite Realm decided to claim Damian Al Ghul to be his to protect. "You're not returning to your parents." Danny stated it like a royal decree as the ruler of the infinite realms. Danny noted that he might as well made one if needed. "You can't trap me here." The child glared.

"You're ill, cold, hungry, emotionally neglected and filled with false ideology of what a six years old child should have." Danny pointed out at the anxious child. Damian is minutes away from bolting away to the door.

"Your parents are unfit to take care of you, as a halfa since birth, you fall under my jurisdiction and protection. Therefore I, High King of the infinite realm, revoke the rights to the child, Damian Al Ghul from both of his parents and place him under my care." Danny declared, the star shards crown appears above his head as glowing green threads entangled around Damian's body and attach it to the ghost king core. Damian fall asleep after being blessed with Danny's protection decree. 

Unknown by Talia Al Ghul, that she will forever lost the right of her son due to her own negligence.

with tim this usually involves his parents being wildly neglectful (as opposed to absent in canon) to downright abusive and then Bruce gets custody yay :D. ive also read ones where both tim and jason come early and those are pretty nice. I think what's appealing is that tim and jason don't interact until after everything goes to shit so its nice that young tim can interact with young jason and dick and bruce. its also nice that they could save a little heart ache by coming to bruce earlier rather than later.

Outsider POV

could be unreliable narrator which is nice, but also seeing what others not in the know think of batfam's actions could be interesting. having a normal random person interact with the crazy that comes with being a vigilante is cool

ive read a couple fics involving bruce & harley or bruce & harvey (would bruce & selina count? lol) and I just think exploring the relationship between bruce and his enemies is interesting. it really speaks to his character, or atleast what i think which is second chances, seeing the good and hope in the damndest of cities and its people. its one of his core philosophies and a part of what makes him batman.

CPS involved

kinda funny with my previous one, but I like it because it tests how bruce cares for his children. its a plot device for drama but also its a very real thing that he should deal with because we want the best for the bat children. I think its also an excuse for them to be outraged on behalf of him. I think of a comic panel i saw of bruce crying while talking about jason when talking to a social worker.

Bruce Wayne Kills the Joker (DCU)

i know that not killing is his whole thing, which i agree should be a thing and is valid, but i also like the thought of him killing for his kids, sacrificing him morals, or even him mental well being for them, especially Jason because that is kind of their whole dichotomy and wouldn't that be great, for bruce to do the one thing that jason asks and them being happy again? Technicially if memory serves right bruce does kill the joker in Death in the Family but then it might of gotten retconned? maybe he stopped himself inbetween the comics, or somehow joker survived the murder attempt, but either way the intent was there. anyways I like the moral dilemma and potential fallout it may entail.

so the basic movement of worm is that powers are from trauma. ridiculously simplified, but that's the base of it-- if you have superpowers, you have them because you went through traumatic events so severe to you specifically that it broke ur brain a little bit. the powers manifest in some way as a reaction to the traumatic scenario. (it is also more complicated than this. playing the spoiler card.) OR secret second option u put urself into indefinite debt to an extremely shadowy and ominous.... organization? person? shadow government branch? conspiracy? and get superpowers in a can, with like, a 10% chance they'll backfire and mutate u into some fucking terrible inhuman shit and then they'll completely memory wipe you and brand you and dump you off somewhere. not really relevant here. because the main way of getting superpowers is to be violently traumatized, cape society in worm tends to be grittier, more violent. there's more villains, the heroes are less shiny marvel or dc and more making whatever moral compromises they need to get the best outcome possible. at one point one of the main heroes in the city worm takes place in tells the sixteen-year-old protagonist "i don't care, there's a kill order out on them, just put a bullet in her brain if you see her, it's fine" and then a while later goes "yeah i'd vote for a kill order out on you guys too," directly to her face. worm is always going "hey, wouldn't it fucking suck if superheroes were real?". there are many horrifying and inhuman and violent threats. sexual and racial and physical violence aren't swept under the rug. these seventeen year olds are sent to crime scenes where flayed and gutted corpses are suspended from the ceilings because they're heroes! ^_^ but this aint about worm this is about the new haven wards!!!!! [wards are the child soldiers junior hero branch of the main syndicated/unionized hero organization, w/ placement in every major city alongside regional protectorate headquarters]

wibby / whisperer is a breaker/shaker (<- power classifications meaning he has another form he shifts into, and also an area of effect] in his breaker form (crackling white-blue energy) he 1) can control how corporeal he is, or *how* corporeal he is, from "walks into the brick wall" to "doesnt notice there's a brick wall and goes straight through it", to "goes incorporeal to stick his hand in a guy's chest then resolidifies to instakill him" w/ some tradeoffs. & 2) shape/control energy manifestations in a fairly wide radius around him, where the power of the shaped energy is in proportion to the amount of recent death in the area-- if there's a ton of casualties in the area, he can do a lot more than he could in a peaceful small town in the middle of nowhere. the situation with his trigger event was him. growing up socially isolated and half convinced he was going crazy and everyone else Also thought he was fucking insane (deadwood is still haunted!! more haunted :]) for years & years + the loneliness + frustration + unsureness if he's actually the one just. losing it or if it's all really real + the constant feeling of being in danger, that the town is bad and malicious and out to Get you. anyway. he fell, take that as ambiguously as u do for that in canon, didn't die, but was severely injured & couldn't move. just laid there for maybe a day or so in the woods that wanted to kill him. anyway he triggered when he was found! the catalyst was not "the place that's been out to get me my entire life finally succeeded" but the helpless incandescent frustration of "actually nothing i ever do is going to make you understand. i've been trying for so fucking long to make you See It but you won't!!! you never will and you just think i'm crazy or stupid or making it up for attention even though it has such obvious fucking consequences and is manifestly Real!!" he was recruited to the wards by miss g herself, who was like hahahhahaa this kid could be a Really Fucking Big Problem if he doesn't have an eye on him!! ^_^ he never wanted to be a hero, and still doesn't, really, but he's terrified of accidentally hurting people & deadwood is like a weight around his neck and maybe things will be better if he just gets out of here. for a while they're not, of course. he just feels like. y'know. he's another sick thing that crawled out of deadwood, and his powers make that obvious. the way they interact with recently dead shit makes him sick!! living with david is awful-- a big, lovely, lonely high rise apartment, an older brother who barely bothers to speak to him, calls to their mom through the walls going "why is he here? why would you send him here? can he like, go anywhere else?"

virion sol / imprint is a trump (meaning his powers interact With other capes powers.) he can copy powers by touching other parahumans-- the copied power is just as strong as the original, whatever the original is, but he doesn't have an innate sense of how to use it; he can easily be overwhelmed or overstimulated by powers that involve a ton of sensory input, or accidentally loose cannon something he wasn't expecting and can't easily control. regardless, this is a fucking insane power to have. it's so cracked. like within the parahumans-- world, this is something so rare, especially being able to copy the full strength of the power. the very few examples in canon of something similar, the copied power is always inferior. his situation was similar to canon-- the greats were a team of independent heroes, & were like, extended family to virion. he grew up unpowered, but in the cape world-- so many aunts and uncles teaching him security, standard protocols, how to fight capes, how to run cape business and independent team business, how to handle guns and tasers and safely run background checks. y'know. a family's worth of professional knowledge. he never really wanted to be a cape, anyway, he was more than happy to do all the unpowered stuff at home that needed to be done. occasionally he came with them on patrol n stuff or snuck out to watch them. the greats' long term goal was prying out the lich, an extremely heavyweight warlord who had control over most of the city. virion's father struck a deal with the lich-- virion knows as little what the deal was For as he does in canon, but he double crossed the entire team. virion snuck along to the confrontation with the lich (setup) & watched his father turn & murder all of them. still not sure if he did it all himself or just watched as the lich's minions did it, but the way they knew all their weaknesses, how efficient and brutal and unexpected it was-- it was his dad feeding the information. virion stays frozen in shock and horror & hidden during all of this. can't do anything to help. is fucking useless, despite all he knows and has done. for the first time in his life, he wished he had powers, that ram and min and everyone could have taught him how to have and use their powers like they taught him everything else. he triggered watching it all happen. after this, he went on the run, terrified that someone would Know that he saw, that they'd be coming for the loose ends, that his dad would come back for him. all he has of his family is a couple piecemeal things he could grab before he ran-- ram's favorite revolvers, a holy medal of alphonz's, some of his mom's sturdy jewelry. anyway, he ran, moved to a different city, new haven. started figuring out his powers, started targeting specifically other capes who were up to bad shit-- minor to mid league villains, the occasional local hero who would Look squeaky clean, but after their sudden death dirty secrets would come out, etc. all very low-key, very subtle. none of the disappearances or deaths looked related. during this period he is SO fucked up. he is so fucked in the head. he's incredibly hypervigilant and paranoid and jumpy (good at looking unbothered and still clocking every single sound and movement and always facing doors and windows), mired in the grief and guilt and horror at. watching his entire family slaughtered and life shattered in a night. sleeps for no more than two hours or so at a time. even on top of the lich and his dad... what he's been doing puts an even bigger target on his back. doesn't have time or heart for anything but the dirty work. is dissociating through the periods of time where he's not actively hunting someone down or on the job. silhouette is the one who puts the pieces together-- of course he's on the protectorate (hero organization) radar. sure he's only been targeting bad guys, but how clean each one was? how well covered they all are? how whoever this is has allegedly killed at least almost two hands' worth of capes in cold blood by now? sets off alarms, if you're looking!!

anyway, silhouette tracks him down, says hey, i know who you are, i know what happened. you're just a kid. you join us, and you'll gain the resources and skill to be able to get revenge. aren't you tired of running? now... virion took to this fast and well when he did, but. before it all, he was just a teenager. despite the family business, he was just some guy! he helped his mom cook and got help with schoolwork at the kitchen table and his cool aunts took him out for lunch. he never wanted this or expected it. and of course he doesn't trust the heroes farther than he can spit, but... it's something. it's better than this. anything has to be better than the way he's driving himself into the ground. & also, of course. if silhouette can find him. anyone else who's looking for him can too. (i don't think he's even registered on the radar of anyone. his dad didn't actually survive the lich, obviously, & he was the only other one who really knew abt virion + nobody knew he triggered. he's just. so fucking paranoid.)

dakota damascus / failsafe is a thinker/mover. he 1) has a precognitive sense of any pain that anyone in a radius around him will feel in the next short amount of time. this is-- varyingly difficult to block. he can't just Choose not to feel it, although the intensity of the feeling, again, varies. mostly proportionally to how severe the pain actually is, or how many people are hurt, but, with time, he can dull or sharpen it + follow the threads of it to discern Who exactly is in pain, rather than just an ambient sensation. 2) is VERY fast & has matching enhanced cognitive speed. these two abilities work SO good together, both in combat situations & also just day to day patrolling. man. i love dakota. anyway, he triggered young-- he was out with his parents (maybe 7/8) and they got caught in an attack by siberian-- a genuinely indestructible, incredibly powerful villain who can just,,, run her hand through a concrete foundation like it's butter & collapse buildings, or scoop out peoples insides in a heartbeat. and also likes to eat people, like, raw and bloody after dismembering them. whatever level of ultraviolent shocking horror u are imagining. double it. anyway. they got caught in the scene of this attack, dakota got separated from his parents in the panic and stampede and rush to get out-- he's seven! it's terrifying levels of panic and claustrophobia and people shoving and trampling and he's not gonna leave without his parents!! of course not!! he triggers from the fear and the disorientation and the panic & he can't find them & he's trying to fight the crowd but he barely comes up past their knees & there's awful sounds of fighting & he's close enough to see her... things are doubly disorienting with the echo of the agony from everyone who gets Fucking Siberianed. he sees most of the fight. um. a while after she's driven away and it's finally finished he finds what's left of his parents. there's a beat in worm, during an encounter with siberian and the Big Heroes, the prime force equivalent, where they just.. give her a victim to chew on because it makes her happier and less of a nightmare to fight. which is something i think about frequently. anyway, after this things are kind of loose, similar to canon. he does the same shit. it's also quieter and you can feel less people hurting the higher up u are. yk? OH GOD. YEAH. at some point after this we still have not hammered it out. he confronts the slaughterhouse 9 (the supervillain group that attacked/siberian is part of) about it & gets his face slit open (half chelsea smile style) & makes a deal to either kill a guy in [n years] or that guy will kill him & several hundred other people!!!!!!!!!!!! dakota damascus killing a man baked into the bones of nhw!!!

anyway he & cat still fell. he underwent a second trigger event when this happened, actually-- the panic and desperation of that situation + the way it echoed his first trigger, etc. this is also super fucking rare, btw. there are very few second triggers & it is almost Never good. (u cannot trigger more than twice + a second trigger is always a refining or an improving of the intent of the original trigger) so that's where the speed etc. came from. tide found him, gave him. a better support system (low bar!!) + a real purpose in joining the wards. i have a lot of feelings abt this.

ashe / auxiliary / muse is also a shaker/breaker!!!!! his backstory i cannot talk too much about because it is Big Spoilers. but he is a fucking powerful telekinetic (around when he joins the wards, having not really used his power in years, he has an upper weight limit of a couple times his body weight & a fairly large radius of effect). he also has a breaker form that only triggers in certain situations & if he really really pushes himself to breaking w/ his powers-- when he enters it, he loses lucidity, for the most part, & starts warping and stretching and breaking space-time in strange, dreamlike ways-- the pavement melts, or everything gets bouncy, or cars and concrete chunks and things with no business moving float slowly around like balloons, or he pulls and crumples reality to move without really moving.... it gets Real fucking bad, real fast. ANYWAY. he eventually sneaks out one night, walks to a gas station to get. snacks. it-- okay, i'm fucking linking mac's post, i CANNOT summarize all of this concisely. go read that. so. that's ashe's deal!!!!!!!!!

Okay I'll put part of this under a cut cuz it got kinda long but like. DC x PJO AU's are so easy to make, right. Because Wonder Woman exists. Greek gods are canon.

Demigod jason tho. i've got so many possible parents for him but imagine its persephone right. She's queen of the underworld, she's got some themes of rebirth going on (spring goddess, also the whole zagreus/dionysus thing). I imagine Catherine would be his other parent in this scenario. They'd meet when Catherine is taking a trip out of Gotham for a few days. Whirlwind romance kinda vibe. Catherine knows who Persephone is but she never tells anyone.

By the time her baby boy is born she's (back?) in a relationship with Willis. And Jason, despite his circumstances, is a happy kid. Monsters probably don't come to Gotham because the smell keeps them away (think Gabe's scent on Percy, I imagine a city with as much crime as Gotham probably leaves it's mark). Jason grows up on myths as bedtime stories, on going to the park and being unfathomably good with plants. Spring is his favorite season and sometimes he sees shades that might just be ghosts. I don't think Catherine ever told him, and so I don't think he ever went to Camp.

But life still happens. Willis goes to jail and dies. Catherine succumbs to her drugs. Jason comes home to a winged man bowed over her, who bows his head respectfully before whisking away.

And so he lives on the streets. And so he steals Batman's tires. And so he gets adopted and becomes Robin.

In the Manor he spends so much time in the gardens. His room is covered in plants. Spring is his favorite season but now that he's not at risk of dying during it, winter holds a special place in his heart. I imagine he gets along well with Ivy, though Bruce doesn't like it.

He still dies, of course. Maybe Sheila is on the birth certificate through some Mist shenanigans to keep Jason safer. Maybe Catherine is secretly still alive. Whichever version of the story you prefer, both have been canon.

And so he dies. And like Hermes is the one to pick him up, because Persephone is his half-sister and that's his nephew and Thanatos is always so busy anyways. And he convinces Charon to let him through and bring the kid across the river. They meet Persephone on the bank of the Styx, not that Jason knows who either of them are. The woman is familiar, though.

And Persephone drops on her knees in front of him, tears in her eyes as she holds his face.

"Seph. He needs to go through judgement."

"No. He'll go to Elysium."

"Persephone-"

"Do not take me for a fool, Hermes. I know how my own realm works. I've spoken to the judges and to my husband. He goes to Elysium. I would not risk him."

So Jason has to wrap his head around the fact that he's part god. Because he knew Greek gods were real, of course, Wonder Woman is his favorite hero thanks, but he'd never thought it would have anything to do with him. He helps his mother in her garden some days, he meets his stepfather and his demigod stepbrother. He considers rebirth.

But then, of course, six months lates, late october maybe early november, he gets resurrected.

I imagine it would be hard for his mother to reach him. Communicating with someone who's brain dead is hard enough, especially if you have to do it through dreams he's not really aware of. And the Lazarus Pit is idk maybe something curse-like? Unnatural, at least, and scrambling Jason's head enough Persephone still can't talk to him.

So he trains and he kills and he obsesses over Bruce and Joker and Tim. Until, finally, he starts getting moments his head is clear enough for Persephone to contact him. And they're in a dream, and it's the calmest he's been in, how long has it been? He's still so, so, angry, and he won't regret what he's done, but he's also tired. His mom is right there and she seems so happy to see him and what the fuck is he doing, wasting his efforts on someone who obviously doesn't want him around?

Persephone gifts him a weapon and tells him to go to New York. That help will reach him there. That he needs to go to Dionysus. And he doesn't go immediately. He keeps training for a while, and the green still takes over sometimes. But eventually he calms down a little more. Talia would be hard to escape but New York is close enough to Gotham that, under the guise of wanting to put his plan in motion, he can hang around there a while without seeming too suspicious.

And so he goes. And he trudges around the city for a while. Nature spirits stare and whisper. Jason does his best to keep from lashing out.

Eventually he runs into Nico, who's in New York with idk Percy probably or maybe on a date with Will, and it's basically the Spider-Man point meme because no one exactly told Nico what the hell actually happened to that kid and Jason sure as fuck wasn't expecting to see him.

Anyway nico takes him to camp. Dionysus helps jason out bc Madness and that whole thing, and it clears most of the lazarus influence but he's still so fucking angry. But he's also tired. And he feels more connected to his mother here than he ever had back in gotham. And the kids at camp are as much child soldiers as he is. Persephone doesn't have her own cabin yet, and there's a bit of a debate if he's going to be put in the Demeter or Hermes cabin for the time being before they settle on Hades because only Nico really uses it. And he genuinely enjoys camp. He's got a better basis for sword fighting than most of the new kids so he gets put into the more advanced class. Learning a new style is fun. The climbing wall is a nice challenge. He picks strawberries with the Demeter cabin. He's decent enough at archery, but definitely a better marksman with guns. He finds out Bat-disappear-into-the-shadows-training works as well in a forest as on rooftops.

But then, a few months in, Wonder Woman visits. She'd never heard of Camp, before the wars, that'd been kept from her. She'd been furious when she'd found out the gods had used children to fight their wars. Tales of it are legendary, around camp.

All the little kids swarm her, of course, and everyone else follows. Jason doesn't. they make eye contact, briefly, and disbelief floods her face. Jason flees.

And at some point they do probably talk. Diana asks why he isn't home, jason says he isn't ready and when she pushes he spits out why (joker, tim, the usual). Diana explains some things (bruce being near suicidal, what shes gathered about how tim became robin). Jason isnt ready to let go of the anger yet, but when diana tells him he cant expect her not to tell bruce his son is alive he tells her to do what she wants.

Idk I just think it's neat. I've got ideas for him as 'son' of hestia kind of (look…. I know alright…. I just think it's near for the son of the goddess of hearth and home and family to feel like he doesn’t have a home or a family anymore alright. The angst). But also son of ares jason,,,, maybe son of mars theres some evidence apparently that he was worshipped in a protector of boys capacity, like with apollo. On one hand, son of dionysus (again rebirth but also madness), but then I like the headcanon of 'jason doesn’t go anywhere near addictive substances bc family history' a little too much. Also apollo, again protector of boys thing but also marksmanship to some extent. Could probably fly athena. Could definitely fly hermes. So many ideas.

currently being haunted by fic ideas with no time to squeeze them outta my brain like wet rag, but I also don't wanna forget them either so, cursing you to witness them too:

Invincible (s1 au)! -> Fearful he’ll die, Mark accepts his Dad's proposal. Two weeks later, the undead begin to walk. Or, Mark, morality, and mortality.

Invincible! (s1 au) -> Worried he’ll be a disappointment, Mark decided to keep his powers a secret from his parents until he’s skilled enough to show them. Meanwhile, when a new strong, undying hero shows up in the city, Nolan begins to suspect he’s not alone. Debbie, on the other hand, keeps running into a young new hero. Or, secret identity shenanigans my beloved.

Oblivion Battery! -> Character exploration, Between practice, Kei, the General, sees a video of what kind of person he's become without his memories. Quickly, the baseball team find themselves defending their resident, now absent and nor longer amnesiac, idiot.

DC! -> Literally no thoughts, just the idea of de-aged Bruce somehow ripping off Joker's ear with his teeth. Dick nearly has a stroke. Jason is somewhere between having a crisis, crying of laughter, and buying the kid a medal.

SUF! (post-canon) -> Steven and Jasper, incidentally, go back in time for a day. Guess how many times he swallows down a mental breakdown existing within a two mile vicinity of Rose Quartz.

DC! -> Bruce gets cursed. He doesn't quite know that though, mistaking it for a linger dose of fear toxin. Until, of course, his mother's body writhes along the floor, muddled by shadow and faded memory, and her blood stained, icy fingers clench onto his ankle, a ring digging into his flesh. Then, it's time to call Constantine.

DC! -> From a post floating around, Bruce time traveling back to right before Jason comes back to life, armed with the knowledge of his resurrection is soon coming, proceeds to make everyone think he's actually lost his unkind mind. Or, maybe, just maybe, digging up your son's coffin, placing it in his room, putting in motion sensors, and bringing in an assortment of daily meals and gifts insisting he'll wake up, does not inspire confidence you haven't lost your fucking marbles.

DC! -> Also based on a post. Avid magic hater, Bruce isn't exactly pleased to be chosen by the star sapphire ring. And yet, on rare evenings, there does appear a mysterious, yet comforting, Pink Knight.

Literally when I am at my fucking busiest is when I have the most ideas istg.

So far the teams, it's not really concrete "this is where they are", they can move around like they have in the comics. So for example, Connor could have been on YJ for a bit, either with Kon or if Kon was gone doing something else and met M'Gann there or she was on the Outsiders for a bit. But also, I had only watched season one of YJ and just somehow recently found out that she tried to erase his mind of a fight and given my absolute hatred of comics Raven for casting the love spell on Wally, Dick and Damian to get her way, it really made me dislike Ms. Martian quite a bit. It could be written out and I honestly can't see her doing it except the writers wanted drama, but at least with her it's just a bad taste and a one-time mistake, unlike Raven.

The Teen Titans' origins aren't different though. Wally, Dick and Garth teamed up for the first time in The Brave and the Bold and that comic was popular and DC decided to make the Teen Titans and added Donna for a girl character and they didn't realize Donna was actually just a younger Diana in the comics. As I love Donna, I'm happy with this mistake, but it's stupid. Roy just started as a guest star along with others teens and by the time he became a permanent member Garth had left, I think it was due to something happening in Aquaman, but I could be misremembering. And I wouldn't call it a break-up, only because it wasn't a bad thing, it was them moving on to another side of life but they were still friends. They weren't a superhero team but they were still a group. But that's semantics and Star, Victor and them wouldn't have come on until after Dick's stint at college and that. And Wally still won't join back afterwards (but again I hate Raven and so I'm fine with just ignoring all of that BS and it's not like after Dick dropped out he wouldn't be able to call them up and invite them all back together and things go well for a bit and then crap hits the fan, but that goes into my Nightwing rewrite AU which trust me you do not want that monster.) And as The Origin of Donna Troy was my first comic with her in it and my absolute love for it, that is her origin, she gets all the moms. And Dick and Kori do get married. It's biased, but also my AU, why would I not have it? Especially when I want Bruce being a grandpa and I love Mar'i and Jake. And yes Kole, I didn't remember her being tied into Lilith's origin-and now it is all coming back to me, they can use the Teen Titans show's origin then. And Lilith's origins can be changed, but I haven't really liked any of them, but as long as we aren't doing Williamson's version of the character is fine by me. And Rhea can still be a villain just a bit of rewriting.

Oh Matrix's name would be different, Matrix would probably just be the name of the project to make her. There's a lot of options for it, but it is low priority for me for deciding on which on I like though.

Oh, I'm not set on her being involved, I was just curious if it could work. And I'm fine with the Darkseid hideaway (despite my dislike of Apokolips and New Genesis, they're just boring to me), but I like Donovan hiding him away himself better. Spread some paperwork around to hide it and hide the electric billing in other bills. And then he could pick and chose what Connor learns and influence his actions, since I felt a big thing for Connor in the show was learning for himself. He was made to be a weapon and has to learn to be a person so I think that gives a reason for that storyline to take place.

But yeah don't read too much into the teams, it's how I see them, but again it's malleable and based more on how I view the teams and their inner workings function.

Somehow I just completely forgot that was Kyle's origin…I don't know how I forgot that. I think Paralax could still happen and he could recruit the other Lanterns who have had similar issues with guardians of Oa. The guardians are kind of pricks so it shouldn't be too hard. The only thing I would add to the GL war would be, I would like a select few of the GLs (like Tomare or Kilowog) to be selected by the Guardians to take the central battery and hide it so it can't be destroyed if their prototypes fail for the new rings. I can't say if I know that the battery can be removed or not, but I like a good Palladium in a story. I do like the idea of after Kyle giving up the power of Ion (despite me liking the look), if he adjusts the criteria for who gets these new rings and does so without the guardians' consent. So some, like Razor, would be granted the red ring, since his rage is justified, but Atrocitus ( I misspelled it sorry) would not. Similarly, Tai's villain would get a yellow ring, Sinestro would not. So those villains would still try to steal the rings from who has one, but also try to make their own rings by tapping into the emotion spectrum. It gives them something to do. And also since the rings are now given out via Kyle's pre established criteria (it would be able to match the person's morality, i.e. if something is considered good in their planet, it wouldn't be judged by an American-Latino's moral compass, but that civilization's morality as a group) it would make it so characters in the corps could earn the rings without the need of someone granting them. Heck, Ion was basically a god, he could fashion the hidden green lantern battery into becoming a ring maker and distributor.

@thefaeriefeatherdark Sorry, I just haven't had either the time nor the energy to write up a response to your thoughts on the AU and I apologize because this is basically stream of consciousness and not edited, but a few things about my 3 Superboys AU, which thanks to Jon is technically 5 but another time.

Okay, the Superboy AU has actually gotten worse thanks to Leah Williamson (long story, but now we have two Jons). But to answer your questions as best I can given my limited Super family knowlege. Connor is a Cadmus creation, he is straight up the series origins. Made by Cadmus with Lex's funding with Lex's and Clark's DNA. The main difference is he is the first attempt at being cloned and Cadmus lies and tells Lex the clone had deteriorated once he was out of his clone tube. If you want to add Contessa to this, you could have her doing this to spite Lex. I know nothing about her besides what you said in your post, but I'm sure she has good reasons to be spiteful to Lex. And you know to try to keep and groom a Superboy on her own.

As for Lena Thorul, I know nothing about her, but since I am a fan of random characters from Kara's original series (I want that trade if it will ever exist), I don't see any issue with her being involved. My only issue with Kara in your idea, is I hc her around the ages of the original Teen Titans from the comics. At most a year younger, only because I think it's funny that Dick will call her an old hag even though he's physically older, but she's older than even Clark by a decent amount.

I mean all three are Clark and Lex clones, so they will look alike, but as Connor and Kon do have other's DNA mixed in with them (Maik is the only 100% just those two's DNA), they're can be variation. I think Connor looks distinct enough, it could have just been the cartoon style, but he seems more muscular and taller. He's more of a football player, while Kon is more Baseball player in terms of general build (it's a very bad description, but the best way I can explain it without drawing it, sorry). And Maik is 12, he's baby shaped. But he's basically built thicker than Jon, but not really by much since again, babies. Connor doesn't have the earring like the other two do, but I think Maik in terms of appearance does get mistook as Kon's younger brother since they look a lot alike. Maik has much better fashion sense though, cause is it Kon if he is dressed well? Maik has the gray eyes from the movie cause they're very striking compared to everyone else's bright blue ones. I also just like grey eyes and there's not a lot of of them in comics. So Kon and Maik will look alike and will argue about who stole whose look, but it comes down to just their age and clothing. I think Maik will end up looking a bit more different when he gets older, but I think those two will resemble each other the most with the eyes and fashion being their difference sadly. As for their outfits, don't they all need those super awesome jackets? Connor sadly gets his black shirt and pants, it's boring, but you know which Super it is when you see this. I did liker Kon's outfit in Kelly's run and YJ98, but Maik's would start out as the same as in the movie, but I think he would keep a more subdued coloration in his outfit. I also think as he gets older, he would make his costume more punk-rock than just spiked shoulders. I'm not sure how exactly, but I like him having a music industry plant type of idea behind his creation and so I want to incorporate music styles into his older costume if that makes sense.

Well, we have how many Flashes now? It should be fine, right (laughing in DC's inability to give codenames to established heroes for mantle passing)? They would get new codenames, but I haven't thought that far ahead yet. Also their names would have to use some of their personality and stories (Nightwing coming from Clark's story, Troia coming from Donna's stay on the Greek Moon planet thingy, Tempest coming from his water magic, etc.). So that would take a bit to get a good codename for them. But them and both Jons would evolve into having their own codename. Kara at last could go for Superwoman (since as far as I know there isn't one running around (watch me be wrong and there's like 5).

Oh, I completely forgot about Matrix. I want to say since the goal of this AU is to give Ma and Pa Kent the biggest amount of grandchildren, I want to at first instinct say yes, but from what I remember about that, it's still just Kara just merged with another. Also, I just didn't enjoy the bits I've seen of it. But since I haven't read the whole story, I'm not going to say definitively no, but that was just a weird bit of Supergirl's history to me, but not enough for me to just, "yay, no" it. If you want those, ask me about Nightwing XD.

As for the "it's gotten more complicated" it might actually be more fun for you, since you like the paternity bit more, but again I haven't had a chance to read Kon's solo yet (I've been reading from the beginning and I haven't made it to Superman comics yet and until the 90's, there's not really any writer who I'm just going to skip (I can't with Dixon anymore. He can write good plots, but he's such an awful garbage person and it bleeds through too much for me. And actually between him and Fitzmartin, I almost started to hate Tim, but one of his fans actually helped me with that), so I still have awhile and time is a dick. But to the actual point, Connor is the first actual clone, but he isn't "alive" to the world as Contessa is keeping him a secret from Lex and so Lex decides to cut his losses and tries again and that's how we get Kon, but Kon on top of Lex and Luthor's DNA also has Westfield's DNA in the mix. So he'sd the first clone the world gets to know. As for where Contessa and Cadmus is storing Connor, I'm not 100%, since I really, really hated the clone tube, so they probably have a facility underground that they "trained" him in so that he would be perfect for their nefarious schemes. He 100% will keep Wolf, I don't know if it would be from an Outsiders' mission or a one off mission with the Titans, but he's getting Wolf. And I'm fine with him on the farm, the Supers can come and go from there and since it's centrally located, it's not a bad place for him to join up with others. He doesn't have flight, but he's fast and can jump. Also he can get the stickers from Lex again and one of the heroes could probably figure out a way to replicate them without the addiction issue, there's enough scientist to figure it out. I know absolutely nothing about Indigo, but as long as she isn't going to take him to the Legion of Superheroes I'm fine with it (still bitter about that arc with Kara in the show, it just never sat right with me). But I do like your idea of him staying at the Outsiders HQ until Clark invites him to the farm. I think Connor has more of a relationship with the Kents than Clark, because Clark just doesn't know him and after Kon doesn't know how to deal with this new, but older clone. And he has to deal with raising Jon, so he can't just drop everything to help raise this kid he never knew existed. I think it makes him more understandable than what YJ did with him where he just came off as a prick. The powers are right, the heat vision and cold breath aren't as strong as Clark or Kara's, but that can be enhanced with the shields and that's ofc where the flight comes in as well. I do think he has the most strength out of the three in terms of raw physical power. Kon's TTK though obviously wins in terms of actual strength.

Now, because I just want to make things over complicated for no reason, I get you like cybernatics, but as I'm not a big sci-fi fan, when Maik was being cloned, in an attempt to see if they could remove the kryptonite weakness, they had some red kyrptonite in the room where they were cloning him. He still has the weakness, but instead it warped his Kryptonian abilities to an extent. So for example, he has heat breath and frost vision. His superstrength isn't as strong as the others, but (thanks to your boiling water Kara thing), I think he has the strongest durability out of the Supers. This wasn't meant to contradict you, I just think it's funny Kara doesn't want to get him hurt, but if he's not around kryptonite, the kid could get punched by every other Super at full strength and he'd barely feel it. He's still strong and could punch a hole through a solid steel building without a problem, but he's losing the arm wrestling contests. He is also the one Lex had the most see-over on though so he is the smartest since he was basically being taught by Lex approved tutors and that. He also since he actually is the one clone that "got to be a kid" and if the aging thing was retconned, I'm fine with it, he started out as an actual kid, so he and Jon actually are one year apart (Jon's a year older, kid Jon, not teen Jon, as I said it got complicated, but another day), and he would have absorbed some of Lex's "morals", so he could have a good character arc of growing out of that greed inspired mindset and learning to see humans as humans. I do think the Danvers would be a great set for this. The Kents would be too, and they 100% get to help with their grandson, but the Danvers had Kara, who was a teen when they adopted her, with (depending on the timeline) good or bad Kryptonian ideaolgies and previous connotations on Earth and its inhabitants. So they have more experience with that than the Kents. Also, since he and Jon are essentially the same age and Maik starting as an antagonist, that would be a good start for them since it would give a chance of kids figuring out things and influencing each other and given what Jon has been through, it's not like he's 100% rainbows, unicorns and sunshine. He's been through the ringer, possibly more than any other Super, 3 years under Ultraman torture will do that to a person. More so, being left for dead and having to watch that person living your life. But yes, as Kon would have YJ and Connor would be best (for me personally) for the Outsiders with helping out the Titans and YJ at times, Maik would fit in perfectly with the amount of child heroes that exist right now. He might feel redundant if he joined up with Damian and Jon and the people I have on their youth team I have, but what's the harm in having two supers? But even excluding that fact, there's a large amount to make a team out of. And heck, he could even start on my Damian team, butt heads with him (not hard to do) and take a few with him to make his own team and get some of the others Damian couldn't recruit. Even more fun if it splits up the West twins so Wally and Linda have to listen to who has the better team at dinner at least twice a week. And for villains, they would have to fit a theme for him to grow, so if I were to write stories for him, I would want to figure out a good balance for that. I would have to think of a few examples, but someone targeting him for being Lex's son, clone, "hero", "weapon" wouldn't be bad, someone who isn't able to control their actions for one reason or another, I think an evil Toyman would be good to as well, a villain who wants the spotlight (like Punchline, but not as annoying, sorry I just don't like her), he'd be very good for a social media type of villain or a eugenics villain. There's potential for others, but for villains, I think the moral theme for the story should come before their gimmick for a good story (can you tell I'm a batbrat?).

As for the DNA samples, I think it'd be a cute story that Maik and Jon are wanting to be the babies (the twins come in after this so it's all pointless), and also just worried that since Cadmus and Lex both have had access to controlling all three clones, with each one being a stronger control (Maik even having a microchip just in case that Kara made inert whether through Kandor or heat vision, doesn't matter, but one of those), teaming up and Jon using some lockpicking skills he get from Damian and Maik knowing the layout of the building, breaking and entering and destroying the DNA samples Lex has and scanning the building for anything he could possibly use for more DNA and eradicating it. It doesn't even have to be a stressful comic, just a fun little one of them having fun destroying untold and unsolvable property damage to Lex Corp. Everyone wins. And I'll give you this for the cybernetics and Lex being more involved with him, we can give him electric touch. So he could be a human taser or stronger. Lightning has been shown able to incapacitate the Supers, so it wouldn't be a bad thing for Lex to put into the one he has the most control over, until he defects. But now relooking at the timeline you gave me, I don't know if Contessa could have been around for all three cloning attempts. If so, Maik could be the one she doesn't lie about to Lex, but if she couldn't have been in charge for Connor, the pettiness isn't needed. But I do like them lying to Lex that Connor was a failure, so when he finds out he's still alive and functioning, he tries to be a "good" dad with the stickers and to give him resources that Connor knows better than to accept after the incident with the stickers.

Done a design sheet/outfit sheet for Riddler in my little AU!

Rambling about design and inspirations:

General appearance (face and body): Hair is based on the classic comics. Also, there's fanart somewhere on Tumblr that called it blue hair Riddler and that was what got me really into the blue and black hair. The face is a bit of an amalgamation between Arkham and some of the classic comics (and mayhaps Tim Sale's Riddler?), but with BtAS's question mark nose and eyebrows. He's muscular, based on classic comics spandex (and the Lego games were very formative for me). I like drawing muscles (and JJBA was my special interest when I started getting serious about art which probably explains it). He's got body hair like in Arkham Knight (he may end up with more body hair than shown here, it depends when I get to drawing him). He's also got that question mark scar because it's silly and makes it a bit more interesting (and story potential?)

Spandex outfit: Based on the classic comics (especially Batman #705-707 (I hope they're the right issue numbers. They're the ones with Query and Echo)) and Lego Batman 2. His eyes are probably hidden with the mask, which would move for some of that adorable BtAS expressiveness.

Suit: It's a bit like a camper version of Arkham City. Also inspired by Frank Gorshin and Arkham Asylum.

Cane: Based on Lego DC Super-Villains, but also a little bit inspired by Arkham City? The topper is flexible so he can wrangle people

Casual outfit: Inspired by Arkham Origins, but more Riddlery. This Edward definitely has a collection of dorky jumpers which only his most trusted friends get to see him in. He's got the unbuttoned shirt heavily inspired by Lego DC Super-Villains. His glasses are inspired by Arkham City. He's a bit short-sighted; he could function without glasses, but for too long it would hurt. He uses contact lenses when he's out riddling.

Waistcoat: Heavily inspired by Frank Gorshin in the film when he takes off his blazer and looks incredibly dapper and ruined my fashion sense. His outfit here is like a more cohesive version of what I would wear. The tie is based on the one I embroidered. His gloves and trousers (and aforementioned glasses) are based on Arkham City. He has green nail polish (he would also put purple question marks on them)

Not appearance related, but I'm spelling it Nigma, because in my mind Nigma is for darker-haired Riddler looks, and Nygma is for ginger/red hair (may be based on the fact that classic Riddler usually has darker hair, but modern Riddlers use Nygma and are often redheads?)

Also! I've been working on writing a comic for the AU! It probably won't be coming soon, but... it's in the works...

I saw the new Inside Out 2 trailer, and they made Anxiety, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Envy bad by betraying the old emotions. Lots of crazy stuff is about to happen! We don't know what's going on, lots of details are there too. But what would the ElseWorld version be like?

CLOTHING CHANGES!

Fear is now wearing the same vest but it's gray and black with the same stripes on it, Disgust now wears a pink/purple dress (just like the old concepts of her from the 1st movie), and Anger wears a black button on shirt with a red tie with gold marks. Joy and Sadness still stay the same.

NEW EMOTIONS!

For my idea. I have 6 new emotions, one of my OC emotions I've created like, Courage, Surprise, Pride, Trust, Frustration, and Shy.

MAIN VILLAIN

I am using on of my oc villains, Spite, to be the main villain of the AU second movie.

OTHER CHARACTERS

Characters like Nia, the assistant of Spite, she runs the business with him but she tries to avoid him to help others. Bud, Courage's blood cell buddy, he doesn't speak but he's sweet, nervous, cute and got some attitude. And Brain, the big boss of Riley's mind, and the emotions need his help to stop Spite.

What New Places Would the Emotions Go To?

In this AU, far from HQ and Long Term Memory, instead of the back of the mind being empty, there is a huge mind-filled city called Mindtopia, aka, The City of Riley, where everything in the mind has everybody for Riley's Inner Workings in her mind. That also includes Headquarters. And guess what, they're not the only company, there's also banks, council buildings, restaurants, malls, houses, apartments, and everything for Mind Workers after they work at Long Term Memory. And The Mind Councilman, Chairman, is the Mind Prime Minister.

Title: lonely souls no longer lonely.

Plot Summary.

Danny has to leave home because it's no longer safe in Amity Park.

Danny was caught by the G I W and he was experimented on.

In this fanfic Danny was adopted by the Fenton's when he was a baby. He is actually the illegitimate son of Orihara Shirou and is Izaya's half brother, that he has no idea about and didn't even know existed in the first place.

The rest of this fic would be focusing on Danny just trying to survive in the Ikebukuro. But he keeps getting mistaken for izaya.

This will have Shizaya and Izaya and Shizuo adopting Danny. Shizaya is important to the story but it's not the main focus, instead it's a secondary one.

Title: X Marks The Spot.

Fandoms Danny Phantom. Teen Titans.

Plot Summary.

It isn't safe anymore for the Fenton siblings in their own universe, so they leave their home dimension and they go to the DC universe.

There were some complications leading to Danny and his clone Ellie (Dani, I'm calling her Ellie because it's easier) becoming babies in between the ages of 1 month and 6 months old.

It's mainly just BAMF Jazz, she's raising her kids, kicking ass, and stealing stuff from evil corporations and Rich assholes.

50/50 if it is Jazz X Dick, but we'll just have to see.

The story would pick up where the Teen Titans cartoon ended. Perhaps the black and white monster could have been a ghost. Maybe we learn why Tara came back. FYI I know that there's a Teen Titans comic called Teen Titans go, not the same as that cartoon, it's set in the original series. Point is I'm not following the comics I'm going to do my own thing.

I had an idea for a story, but I have gotten some of the lore of ark completely wrong so my original story idea is completely scrapped.

Midoriya, Bakugou and Todoroki are in an accident that gives them multiple quirks? And they are very confused on what's going on.

Danny leaves behind a video diary for the three new halfas. So they can understand what is going on, and why they have multiple quirks now.

I don't have much of a plot figured out for this one yet.

Plot Summary.

Two young girls come to Ikebukuro to make a new life for themselves. They end up getting a bit more than what they bargained for, but a happy ending all the same.

Don't have very much for the story except the OCs end up adopting both Izaya and Shizuo instead of being adopted by them. The OCs are similar to izaya and shizuo.

It's a shizaya kid fic. Kids adopting their parents instead of the parents adopting the kids.

Plot Summary.

Bakugou and Deku wake up in the past and in the bodies of Izaya and Shizuo.

And they have no idea why, but now they have to figure out what happened to them and why they're here, and simultaneously deal with Izaya and Shizuo. Izaya and Shizuo are not happy that Bakugou and Deku are in their bodies.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with this fic, but I had so many ideas, but no real cohesive plot.

It's a reincarnation and soulmate AU. BakuDeku. Shizaya.

Bakugou is in Izaya's body and Deku is in Shizuo's.

Izaya was sold to the Oriharas by his mom, or he was kidnapped by the Oriharas when he was a baby.

So he had no idea that he was kidnapped and/or adopted.

Depending on which version it's either his grandparents were still looking for him, or his parents and grandparents were looking for him. And as a last resort they go to the media. Another thing they can do in their desperation to find him is go to a certain informant and that's how they find out the truth.

inspired by another fanfic as well as an episode of SVU. I'm not sure where the story would go. I think it would be an interesting idea if Izaya had a family he never knew about. how would he deal with that?

Izaya has a secret child that no one knows about. Not even his family.

Unfortunately the mother of the child went missing, leaving Izaya to raise the child on his own. Another unfortunate thing is that Ikebukuro learns that Izaya has a kid, and Izaya decides to hire Shizuo as a bodyguard to keep his daughter safe.

I'm not sure what to do with this story. I just think it would be interesting if Izaya had a secret child.

Izaya wakes up injured and in an apartment that he doesn't recognize. Turns out the apartment is Shizuo's.

Unsure how he got there, Izaya tries to figure out what's going on and how he ended up in Shizuo's apartment.

Meanwhile Shizuo is trying to take care of Izaya and keep him from getting out of the apartment.

Every time Izaya is close to getting out of the apartments. Shizuo freaks out and stops him from getting out.

It almost seems like Shizuo is scared of something.

Erika and Kyouhei have made a bet. The bet is who is right about the nature of Shizuo and Izaya's relationship. If Erika is right. Or Kyouhei?

If Kyouhei is right and those two aren't in a romantic relationship then Erika can't talk about them being in love for one month straight.

But if Erika's right... Who Knows! I haven't really decided on that one.

Shizuo and Izaya are trapped in The Sims. (It's totally Shenra's fault for that one.)

Shinra keeps the two of them separated. He gives them their own rooms and different parts of the house he made with them just until he figures out a way to get them out.

Shizuo has his own space far away from the "Flea" and Izaya is far away from the "Protozoan." Why aren't they put on separate lots because Shinra wants them to stay in the same place so it's easier to get them out. But unfortunately (though fortunate for the reader) this will backfire for all three of them.

Because somehow Erika gets a hold of the game; she has no idea that it's the actual Shizuo and Izaya and proceeds to live out her Shizaya fantasies.

This is going to be absolutely chaotic and I love it.

Well if you haven't you don't have to for this all you need to know is that there was an episode where an obsessive yandere ice cream girl (this show is very weird) gets a hold of a fanfiction note? What's the fanfiction note, think of Death Note but instead of killing people it instead brought fanfiction to life.

Now imagine if Erika got a hold of such a book and all the stuff that would happen.

So it's up to Shizuo and Izaya to stop her because yeah it's all fanfiction about them together as a couple.

But will they be able to stop her before it's too late?

It's Erika's birthday and she's had a Shity Month! (Again blame Shinra for what's about to happen.) Shinra wants to be a good friend and make her birthday special so he decides it's a good idea to get Shizuo and Izaya into a relationship with each other.

Izaya had a one night stand before the events of post ketsu with Shizuo.

This resulted in Izaya getting Pregnant.

He gives the baby up for adoption after they're born, the birth happens eight or nine months after post-ketsu.

(Also the years have been altered slightly, instead of the events of the anime taking place in 2010 and 2015, instead it would be 2008 to 2009.)

The baby is all grown up and he's strong and ill-tempered just like his dear old dad Shizuo.

And now he wants to find out who his parents are? Will he ever get the answer? Who knows?

William hates like every other robot Maker in the DC universe with like a burning passion. He will actively complain to other villains who use Tech and critique everything about their designs-
