this year was pretty busy for me! I graduated uni in december, had a big project in january, started an SMP with some friends, moved out, got a new job and moved across the state, traveled a bunch, went to at least three other graduations... it was a lot! and I got a lot of writing done!

In the BG i've been working on SEN ranchers, a big dogs fic, and SEN docsuma! I published a total of 81,043 words ! what the hell. girl. um.

If i were to actually tally the amount i wrote this year it would probably be a good 30k more, since I have so much I wrote for just me, or just friends, or that isn't up to my publishing standard, or I can't post until later—all that stuff. Sometimes you write gift fics yk! fun stuff <33

I watched Jacksepticeye play Detroit: Become Human (and I've also been looking at @/shepscapades ' Hermitcraft DBH/DBHC AU for a while, it's really good go check it out) so have this I guess :D it isn't set in the world of DBH, it just uses the android mechanics from the game :) I don't think you need to have played the game to understand the au, maybe just a google search here or there lol

so far the main ones that have been implied to build at some point are Ethubs [Etho|Bdubs], Docsuma [Doc|Xisuma], and Ranchers [Tango|Jimmy]! Though I'm a grumbo girlie at heart and i would be surprised if grumbo wasn't a thing at some point sooner or later :3

An Official DBHC Tango reference sheet!!

I’ve been sitting on this for so long, and it only just occurred to me that I never posted it!! I use it so much for referencing the cracks on his hands since there are so many, plus this gives y’all a little bit of a S8-S9 timeline for his visual design developments! :D Pre-Deviant Tango is so baby to me <3 Something is so wrong with him now <333

More on Jimmy Who Knows Less Than Nothing About Androids (in which the fire inside Tango’s hands combined with the force of his shell cracking/popping probably forced some wires loose, so Tango now has to guide Jimmy through fixing and reconnecting everything. It takes, um… a little longer than Tango was expecting it to, but hey! At least he can use his hands now!)

In light of my recent… Minor (tm) Ranchers obsession, and also in light of the confirmation that the life series are canon to dbhc, I raise for consideration: dbhc wamcherms��. ;.; sniff. wanchers…

Tango is already deviant by the start of Double Life, so the burned ranch isn’t what triggers his deviancy or anything, but this does leave him with permanent damage. His model is built to withstand extreme heat and explosions, but I imagine that he gets so angry that his insides fry, circuits catching flame and making the plastic shell crack from the inside out, kind of like an engine fire erupting from the hood of a car. Jimmy knows next to nothing about androids, so he just does what he thinks is best: keeping Tango from hurting anyone else and… shouting every computer lingo phrase he can think of in the hopes it’ll do something to get him to calm down.

I don’t have a clever caption but. Man. Something about Tango who is very new to guilt, and something about Tango who just absolutely cannot comprehend Jimmy’s complete lack of android understanding and the unashamed kindness that comes from it

The "I'm sorry you're so stubborn" line hits different in this au. Especially since you drew Etho pulling down his mask while saying that (Revealing the cracks in his face. Cracks received from Etho taking the creeper blast for Bdubs, who at the time was adamantly against even being paired with Etho.)

I KNOWWWW they've been through so much in this au, I'd be lying if I wasn't listening through that quarrel with the thought of everything that's happened in dbhc on my mind— from how bdubs treated etho at the beginning to bdubs' last life betrayal of tango (thinking abt when bdubs said "like I've ever done anything to anybody!!!"), To etho shutting down, to doublelife with reset etho, to ethos re-deviation and the slow climb back towards friendship they both fought for through the end of season nine... It makes me crazy

HOWEVER COMMA. And I'm doing some doodles to accentuate this point. I do think there's something really special/funny/positive about the idea that they could be bickering and fighting like this on good terms. Like, that they've settled with their history so much so that they're comfortable to pick at each other and yell and get cranky but still be laughing through it. I definitely take it more as a good thing that they're being playful like this, bc even though they're being ugly to each other, they still obviously care abt the others safety and are obviously still basing/teaming together. Y'KNOW? I just think they could be so special and silly to me and that it's important that we don't lose our sense of whimsy when they "fight"

Ugghhhgugh, if Tango got the crack on his back from Last Life and the cracks on his hands from Double Life, it means both his severely damaging and permanent injuries came from the Life Series (my brain is moving so fast with these thoughts)
