Honestly don't know what the fuck is happening, if hrt is fucking with my heat tolerance or whatever (not that I had a good one to begin with), but I legit cannot fucking walk more than 10 minutes outside without getting a headache and becoming dizzy.
Waking up in the morning, it's a 50/50 chance I'll feel like I have a cold from the sweat and the fan having to work 24/7.
What the fuck. This is not livable.
At work they want me doing a fucking 70 minute commute on foot and in trains just to get there, then again when leaving. The return commute being in like 38º. What the fuck are you smoking you absolute fucking bastards in your air conditioned cars and villas. Die.

Revelation 15: Holy Smoke
As John watched, smoke filled the heavenly Holy of Holies, preventing anyone from entering in. For John, this would have brought to mind God’s instruction to Moses that God later portrayed in all reality.
#Revelation15 #HolySmoke #Shekinah
Then after these things I saw, and the sanctuary of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened,
and the seven angels emerged, the ones holding the seven calamities, out of the sanctuary, having been arrayed in radiant, pure linen and having had golden belts girded all around upon the chests.
Then one out of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden broad shallow…

40 Day Anime Challenge 2023 Edition - Day 36: Anime that got the source material horribly, horribly wrong
SAILOR FUCKING MOON
Sorry for being late, @risingfire17-the-weeb-trash! ^^"
No, I'm not referring to the shitty original dub that turned lesbians into cousins (#neverforget) and Americanized the names of our protagonists. I'm referring to the uncut version (both Japanese and the rebooted Viz Media dub) versus the manga.
Here's the thing: I'm aware that the relationship between the manga and anime adaptation in the 90's was..... different than what we normally would expect. The anime was created to more or less to boost manga sales and the manga was updated at a snail's pace while the anime was punching out episodes every week due to popular demand. Both versions were highly successful, though naturally the anime is more well-remembered, if only to Western audiences.
And I accept the differences.... for the most part.
Really, my biggest issue is how DIRTY they wrote so many of the main characters!!
Mamoru Chiba is NOT a college student creeping on a 14 year old girl, but a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD when they met. He also is NOT an asshole. Literally the only "dick" move he shares with his anime counterpart is their iconic first meeting where he teases Usagi's hair buns and grades. And. That. Is. IT!!! Also, he gains actual POWERS as Tuxedo Mask with both his move "Tuxedo la Smoking Bomber," and later with the Golden Crystal. He is kind, soft-spoken, and patient.
Rei Hino is either ace or a lesbian, or at least demisexual. I'm not even kidding. She isn't REMOTELY interested in boys, and often mocks the other girls' crushes. Unlike her 90's counterpart who literally thirsts harder for men that could give the love goddess Venus a run for her money. Also, while she's sarcastic and snarky towards Usagi, she's not NEARLY as much of a bitch as she is in the original anime.
Haruka and Michiru are NOT condescending bitches. Mysterious, yes, holding to their own agendas, yes, but they long to stand by Usagi's side and do NOT treat the Inner Senshi as any less valuable.
Even Usagi herself, though still a precious lil bean, is sidelined to being just a whiny Crybaby, whom EVERYONE is ridiculously mean to, good gods.
etc etc etc....
Tl;dr: While I appreciate and enjoy both versions of the story, I will forever feel salty at how DIRTY the 90's anime portrayed several of the main characters.
