Latest Appearance : Magician’s Apprentice (S9x1)
Place of Origin : Skaro
These Daleks are very similar to the Dalek Warriors but have one key visual difference, their domes are Black! These Daleks originally appeared in the 1967 story “The Evil of the Daleks” were they were under the command of the Dalek Emperor.
They later reappeared in nuwho in the stories “Asylum of the Daleks” (S7x1) and “The Magician’s Apprentice” (S9x1).

Name : Grey Dalek Warriors
Other Aliases : Genesis Dalek, Warrior Dalek, Type IV Dalek, Mark III Travel Machine
First Appearance : Day of the Daleks (1972)
Latest Appearance : Asylum of the Daleks (S7x1)
Place of Origin : Skaro/Spiridon
These Daleks first appeared under the command of a Gold Dalek, this was seen in “Day of the Daleks” (1972). These Daleks appeared later on with a new coat of paint in “Genesis of the Daleks” (1975), they were now under the command of Davros himself serving as the basic form of a Dalek drone as the new Mark III Travel Machines!
Later on a singular Grey Warrior went on to eventually command Daleks of a Lighter Grey colouring - “Destiny of the Daleks” (1979)
Fun Fact : “Day of the Daleks” was the first TV story in which the Daleks were seen in colour!
