SO MANY PEOPLE GUESSED CORRECTLY!#It wasn't that hard #We know Papyrus knows the river person #are they friends? idk BUT I PERSONALLY THINK THEY ARE #I just LOVEEE looking at the dialogue and making connections #I referenced one of the lines from the river person here...sometimes they'll ask you if you know any game you can play with a dog...#They said they were “asking for a friend...”#And I couldn't help but think about Papyrus' problem with the annoying dog LMAO #+ Papyrus seems very excited to know if the river person is there when you call him nearby that area #Okay so... now ...some comic thing that I made up but also didn't...#“FLOWEY DOESN'T KNOW WHO THE RIVER PERSON IS?”#okay so...#I feel like #It's not very common for them to be there...#When talking with Undyne around that area it's kind of *unclear* if she knows about the river person being there....#She tells you about the river connecting different areas and that you should “jump in”#She then clarifies that's the only thing they got for public transport #AND LIKE? It's unclear if she's telling you to jump in the boat (OR IF SHE KNOWS THERE'S SOMEONE WITH A BOAT) or is she's literally telling #you to jump in the river?????#Anyways...so...that's that #HEHE Flowey and Papyrus finally arrived at the house! I cannot wait for this Stan to reconnect with his Ford.

I still haven't figured out HOW exactly they'll meet yet, but I do think that Ford would ATTACH himself to Stanley and talk his ears off forever when they eventually get comfortable :] and Stanley would listen because HOLY SHIT, THAT'S HIS BRO HE HASN'T SEEN FOR 40-ISH YEARS, HE MISSED HIS VOICE. Nonstop certified Yapper & Listener relationship <3

Stanley looks dead faced because of his ingrained poker face, but he's thouroughly enjoying it, even if sometimes he has no idea what the fuck Ford is saying. He never interrupts him though, since he knows people usually ignore or interrupt him mid-talk already. So sometimes Stan gets stuck in awkward situations where he has to leave or do stuff, but also doesn't have it in his heart to stop Ford and extract himself out of a (one-sided) conversation.

#Stanley: that motherfucker just ignored you completely- would you like me to kill him.#Stanford: Who? What are you talking about? Anyways. Have you ever seen gnomes before? Because just yesterday I-#I imagine conversations with Stanford to be very stitled and all over the place.#Since his thoughts are quite literally scattered- he can never really process them fast enough to actually verbalize them.#Or even understand them.#So he often only catch the tail ends of a thought- or cutoff half formed thoughts- or only the beginning half of an idea- memory- or opinio #And when he talks- you can really tell with the amount of tangents he goes off into and how everything he says #are completely disconnected and unrelated from one another.#I think the reason he talks so much is because it's his way of desperately trying to get himself understood by someone- including himself.#He's hoping that maybe- by verbalizing EVERYTHING in his mind all at once into some incomprehensible word vomit- that someday-#those senseless- useless words will one day magically order themselves into the right sentence for him to be finally be able to say what #he actually MEANS.#But because he's ''that crazy Town Kook Ford'' he just never really gets the chance to talk to anyone.#People in town baby him- treat him like a child.#And I mean- it must really hurt. For someone of his former intellect to have lost all ability to express himself eloquently #Not because he's any less smart- but because he just can't talk anymore. At least- not in any way that matters #I think Stanley understands him though. (there will still be a post tomorrow to keep on track)#The original 3 panel comic idea was fine but the point of this new schedule was to take time to push myself a bit more.#I was taking a look back through some comic artists I felt inspired by #and I really loved how Lynda Barry fills her gutters with patterns and doodles!#Obviously I'm not going as absolutely wild with it as she does but it was a great exercise!#I truly think the gutters are the most important and most overlooked part of any comic. There's lots going on in that space.#It's the same with timeskips. The implied movement between moments that we don't see changes depending on how wide that gap is #You're here for the funny tags so here's some that ties this time talk together:#I think LWJ was thinking about that second note from day 2 but it took him 7 days of hazing to commit it to paper.#I think he sends it a day later and immediately regrets it. Chasing down the messenger and everything.#You know if something actually happened to his brother he would never ever forgive himself for putting the bad vibes out there.#Third time skip was the hardest because there was so many possible flavours of jokes here. Day 8/9 was a personal favourite.#day 14 was also funny (week by week). I think the debate on 'how long does lwj take to catch feelings' is more or less:#'how long does it take for him to arrive at a particular stage of grief and yearning (and awareness of it all)#This is a symphony. There is an act by act structure. Every day he is fighting to keep his old sensibilities. He is losing so badly.#(I'll be returning to the main comic soon but there is more of this AU to come!)

in the baby prime orion au during sentinel's reign the high guard got used to referring to optimus as 'little prime', half because they were paranoid of being spied on and didn't want to give anything away and half because that's just what he was to them. their little prime.

and even after they're banished from iacon half of the decepticons never stop calling optimus 'little prime', not even long after the war goes on for thousands and thousands of years. is it an endearment? an insult? a reminder of better long gone times? a way to tell him he will never quite be as great as his fallen siblings? just simple habit? no one knows but the truth is it quite depends on who you ask but also they're all lying so you can't trust any of them

Eyy, King Reaper and his beloved Mage Geno designs <3

#new age au #Geno is very tall (tall Geno supremacy <3) and Reaper usually floats so he's just slightly taller than Geno on any normal day <3 #if he unties his robe in the back it drags along the floor at the perfect height to feign being very tall-#ohh I have so many thoughts about them :]#Geno's magic manifests as crystals so he wears some on his outfit (and keeps more in his pockets)#the black and purple ones on his belt are meant to be a little reference to Reaper (and Dust. before meeting him he only has a black one-)#Geno also uses a Cane! he's insanely skilled and powerful but on sone days magic fatigue finally catches up to him and he has to use it #the black half-robe was also the only accessory Reaper could convince Geno to adopt from his kingdom- that and the Sandals haha-#(I like to think Error made Geno's scarf-)#and ofc Reaper...#he's been ruling for so long that he lives in comfort rather than appearance because. i mean. no one is going to doubt him at this point #he leaves his ribcage exposed as a show of his confidence in his rule (direct access to his soul basically-) but also because. well.#he thinks he's eye-candy 🙏#and in his kingdom the crown/sign of royalty are those olive branch circlets #he wears his over his hood usually. Geno recieved one when Reaper officially finished courting him. Dust would eventually get one. though #for him it's more the equivalent of a wedding ring since his loyalty lies with Nightmare still and he has little official ruling power in #Reaper's kingdom.#oh! Reaper also wears a littlr band Geno made him once on his ribs. it's a nice red gem that he's vaguely aware is actually a tracking spel #Geno thought he was being subtle about it. he. in fact. was not. but Reaper let him get away with it 🙏#oh!!! last thing #Geno sometimes wears a nice silk wrap over his bad eye that's a nice clean white. it usually depends if he's doing magic or not #because his eye tends to get melty again if he strains during casting. and he's always overdoing it lmao-#anyways yeah #mm lied one more note #Reaper's wings are optional. kinda like a manifestation of his Ecto in a way since he doesn't need them to float #more just sonething to make him more regal or appear more threatening!#now I'm done #my favorite goofballs <3 #spot!drawn #my art

okok so .

kai - vi; pretty self-explanatory i think.

lloyd - jinx; initially was unsure on whether to make him jinx or ekko but i thought nya fit better as ekko. which yeah. he and kai are not related here though. he still goes by jinx after.. you know

nya - ekko; ^ . ofc since ekko isnt related to vi in the series, it's different in this au; both nya and kai live with ronin (benzo) but they hang out with lloyd a lot

garmadon - vander; ykw. i feel like this is pretty self-explanatory too.

sora (& arin possibly) - isha; although i do still have thoughts of making isha two characters (arin + sora) in this version since. idk. it makes sense

overlord & pythor - silco; ok this one might be a little confusing but overlord is technically the actual silco in this au, but pythor does a lot of the stuff in silco did in s1. pythor is more like another member of the chem-barons but he's the one the overlord trusts most, so he takes on a more silco-like role rather than just one of the other barons. but in the overall structure of the chem-barons, the overlord would be silco. iygwim

harumi - singed; THIS ONE SOUNDS A LITTLE SILLY I KNOW. but i felt it sorta made sense considering the other pairings. also. reviving garmmy and all... instead of a daughter i feel maybe she'd want to revive her parents? smth like that..

jay - jayce; guy whos trying his best but he lowkey sucks at it. yeah that. i feel whatever happened to jayce in the arcane might reflect well into his DR arc? yeaghh

cole - mel; this ones a LITTLE undecided but my idea is that he was taken in by vangelis or smth. her brother would be vania. or it could be the other way around. idk yet..

zane - viktor; uhhh. he would Not be a robot in this au but Yeagh i felt like this fit a bit.

pixal - sky; ^

skylor - cait; this ones also undecided!!! i can maybe see cole and skylor being switched around. im honestly not very sure yet.

wu - heimerdinger; wu and garm are still related here! theyre both long-aging creatures, except they went to separate places. wu went to topside and garm went to the undercity, and they have not spoken in a very VERY long time. :3
