And as you said, had there been that smile or laugh after the glare, that would change the tone of the video drastically...but he stormed off instead. The immediacy with which his expression and body language changed and how he couldn't move away quickly enough as soon as he realized she was recording him said it all...

I feel like I'm insane why are none of the hw2 update theories talking about the connections of 3 star with mxes and how its plausible they're driving the van pre-ruin it's right there it's not even hidden or hard to piece together its SO obvious. SO MUCH evidence points towards it. itd make perfect sense too. the gift shop and the van are grouped together bc its saying that mxes came from the factory, probably built by Edwin, and 3 star took them to set up ruin, their footprints around ruin where nodes are + Gregory's backpack by mxes + his knowledge about mxes making it painfully clear. it reveals where mxes came from easily. all information it could convey is here.

when i was watching the borgias for the first time i always found juan borgia to be a brat full of bravado and a goofy comic relief until i got to that scene where he started beating the shit out of his mother’s peasant husband, and then in s2 when he became hideously jealous of his sister's peasant lover and he was a feral and drunken sobbing mess over it?? that’s when it clicked for me that he'd become my favorite male character of all time like... just so pathetic, so twisted and fucked in the head with such a desperate need for love and acknowledgment from his family and he's willing to commit heinous acts to gain it, and his incestuous feelings being linked to a superiority complex that stems from his own insecurities stays the most flavorsome part about him.

Watching LEGION Season 2. Chapter 9.

Gods this show is so experimental. I love it.

It’s all about the mind and the power it can have once an idea takes ahold of creative and idiosyncratic people. It’s why it so heavily ties into mental health.

I said I wouldn’t do any commentary on my rewatch of this show but it’s just so damn thought-provoking, I can’t help expressing myself on how brilliant it is.

It’s stuff like this that really makes my INTP mind wild. And I’m just soaking all knowledge up like a sponge.

You know it pays well to be mentally predisposed because your preferred currency is information. And it’s always best when that information is open for interpretation and is given very little exposition.

It’s something for me - as the the person I am - to do because I care very little about crazy expensive CGI graphics and all the clever effects and tricks in the book if it’s not giving me anything for my mind to do.

That’s what I care most about with art/entertainment. The mental stimulation and consciousness expansion.

It is human decency. We shouldn't live in a world where that is worth remarking on. However, until we wake up and Kemi Badenoch doesn't exist anymore... I don't wish ill of her I just wish her to shut up. Whilst we do live in this world, I am honoured to receive this. I'm thrilled to be here and to be a part of this night. Pride is very important in our house. It's a family affair. We have skin in the game. So this event tonight thrills me. It gives me hope, it gives me fire, it gives me energy and deep joy. And even if I feel I don't really deserve this, I'm very pleased and very proud to be receiving it. Thank you all so much.

At the top of the parchment was the title: Sirius and Remus’s long-term bets. Underneath were over twenty different decrees: 

Remus bets Sirius that Dumbledore is gay; Sirius bets Remus that McGonagall and Pomfrey are secretly dating; Sirius bets Remus that David Bowie is actually a wizard. 

Some were more interesting than others, but the one that had drawn James’s eyes was about halfway down: Remus bets Sirius that James will realize he is completely in love with Regulus within the next two months, and they will get together before we graduate.

Staring at the writing, James’s mouth went dry. “I…” he looked up at Sirius, who was biting his lip. “I don’t have feelings for Regulus. Surely you told Moony that.”

But Sirius just snorted. “The bet was on when you’d realize you were mad about him, not if you were mad about him. You’re pretty damn obvious, Prongs.”

Mind whirling, James blinked. “I…have feelings for Regulus?”

Sighing, Sirius stepped forward and placed a hand on his shoulder. “James. You make any excuse possible to even look at him. You go bright red whenever he acknowledges you. You practically melt when he’s mean to you. I mean, you have a type,” he chuckled. “You get all giddy when you see him for five minutes, and you practically sing after he deigns to spend time with you. Is that not a crush?” he asked, eyebrows raised.

James swallowed thickly, the realization setting in. “Oh…” he murmured.

“Just…can you pretend you haven’t realized yet? I really need the ten- oh, fuck,” Sirius groaned.

Because rather than listening, James was already halfway out the door, determined to find Regulus.

The Importance of Good Omens to an Old Queer

There are so many things about the whole Good Omens experience that make an old queer very happy:

In the story:

- It’s about a couple who love each other, who are by social standards definitely not supposed to love each other.

We exist.

- They have loved each other since time began.

We have always existed.

- They needed to hide their love, even from themselves, for millennia, or risk death.

We hid.

- They come to a safe spot where they can acknowledge their love without fearing for their lives. They can expect to be treated like any other couple.

We don’t always need to hide now.

In the story of the story:

- The book was written in the’80’s, when Aziraphale’s and Crowley’s relationship simply could not be told as a love story if the goal was to have any real chance of popular success.

- It took almost 30 years for it to be adapted for the screen and in that time things had changed so much that it is unequivocably a love story, with huge popular success.

In reality:

- The authors and the actors are outspoken supporters of LGBTQ+ rights.

- Michael and David clearly utterly adore each other, and freely show it. A few decades ago such open affection between two men would have caused rumors that could have ended their careers.

Finally, and this one kills me and makes me so, so happy:

- There are MANY younger fans for whom a lot of the above will absolutely not hit as hard.

They grew up in a different world than I did.
