So I don't really make a lot of posts for my tmnt iteration where it's just only text, since I mostly prefer to show my iteration through my drawings. But, I figured I might as well do this so you guys get to know a bit about the main characters that are going to be part of my story, so here we go!

Character Summary List:

The Boiz:

Leonardo: Leader in Blue. Centered arc is the first arc.

Raphael: Big and red and always ready for a fight. Centered arc is Yokai Uprising Arc

Michaelangelo: Orange and one of a kind. Centered arc is City at War Arc

Donatello: Purple and rocks machines. Centered arc is Galactic Frontier Arc

Other Main Characters:

Splinter: The turtles' rat sensei/father. Is Hamato Yoshi and has a tragic family backstory.

April O'Neil: The turtles' first best friend since they were kids. Currently a college student. Is besties with Donnie.

Casey Jones: The turtles' second best friend (Raph meets them first when they were younger, then the others during the present). Hockey player and vigilante. Has a dorky crush on April. Is besties with Raph.

Keno: The turtles' third best friend. High school student who works part time at his family owned pizza place and is badass at martial arts. Is besties with Mikey.

Metalhead: A turtle robot created by Donnie to assist the turtles through medical needs. Eventually, with Donnie's programming, they gain some sentient and becomes more willing to help out the team in any way they can.

The Mighty Mutanimals:

Old Hob: A mutant cat from TCRI, who originally started the gang. Once had a thing against humans due to being experimented on by them, but now wants to help protect the city and his friends.

Slash: A giant mutant spiked sea turtle from TCRI, who was overmutated from an ooze explosion. He started as a frenzied monster, but is soon healed by Dr. Rockwell. He leads the Mighty Mutanimals.

Leatherhead: A mutant alligator from TCRI

Mondo Gecko: A mutant gecko from TCRI

Dr. Rockwell: A mutant monkey. Was originally a human scientist who worked alongside Stockman at TCRI, but experiments went wrong in where he got turned into a monkey, (but he seems unphased with that situation ig lmao)

(And in short, they are all very close friends with Mikey)

Foot Clan:

Shredder: Leader of the Foot. Is responsible for the death of Yoshi's family. Main antagonist of the first arc.

Karai: Shredder's adoptive daughter. One of the members of the Foot Elite (Is viewed as the weakest Foot Elite, even Shredder views this). Is frenemies with Leo.

Tatsu (AKA: Tiger Claw): A mutant tiger who was originally human. Leader of the Foot Elite and is second-in-command of the Foot

Chris Bradford (AKA: Rahzar): A mutant wolf who was originally human. Member of the Foot Elite and is in charge of taking care of the new and upcoming recruits. He also becomes a better father figure for Karai.

Bebop: A mutant warthog who was originally human. Besties with Rocksteady.

Rocksteady: A mutant rhino who was originally human. Besties with Bebop.

Jennika: A mutant turtle who was originally human. She was the youngest member of the Foot Elite (is actually better than Karai).

Outer Space:

Fugitoid: A robot who was once a scientist but got his mind transfered to a robot. Is the one who originally formed the rebellion against the Triceraton Empire.

Mona Lisa: An alien salamander who is a gladiator fighter in the Triceraton Arena. She helps Donnie with his survival and skills in fighting in the arena.

Tokka: An alien turtle who decides to tag along the turtles' adventure.

Traximus: A triceraton guard who is secretly working with Fugitoid in the fight against the Triceraton Empire. He helps Donnie in finding a way to escape, as well as a way to take down the Triceratons' planet buster weapon that they have abused its power with.

Emperor Zanramon: Leader of the Triceraton Empire. Main antagonist of Galactic Frontier Arc.

Captain Mozar: Second-in-command of the Triceraton Empire.

Hidden City:

Baron Draxum: A goat yokai who is the leader of the Hidden City. Main antagonist of the Yokai Uprising Arc.

Huginn and Muninn: Baron Draxum's loyal pets.

Koya: A falcon yokai who is the general of the yokai army.

Miyamoto Usagi: A rabbit yokai who was formerly a warrior for Baron Draxum. He then helps the turtles in taking down Baron Draxum.

Alopex: A fox yokai who is the leader of the yokai rebellion.

Venus: A mutant turtle. Was created by Baron Draxum as a weapon against the turtles.

The Pantheon:

Kitsune: A fox yokai who is the eldest of the Pantheon. She is known for her variety of mystic powers and tricks. She is first seen in the Shredder Arc, where she is Shredder's right hand other than Tatsu. She is then seen again in the Yokai Uprising Arc, where she is Draxum's right hand.

Tengu: An eagle yokai who is the second eldest of the Pantheon. He is known for his mystic powers in weather-like abilities (thunder, earthquakes, etc.). He takes his duties more seriously.

Bakeneko: A cat yokai who is the youngest of the Pantheon. They are known for shapeshifting and playing with fire. They are very mischievous.

Nure-onna: A snake yokai who is the second youngest of the Pantheon. She is known for her deadly poison and cataclysmic powers yes this is based off of Cat Noir, shut up. She is very scary.

Sarugami: A monkey yokai who is the middle sibling of the Pantheon. He is known for his immense strength. He does not speak at all.

Ryujin: An all powerful and evil dragon who was banished to the Twilight Realm. He wishes to destroy the entire world and recreate it in his own image. Main antagonist of Dawn of the Pantheon Arc

Other Villains:

Krang: A powerful alien race who was banished to Dimension X. They wish to conquer the entire universe and remake it in their image. Main antagonist of Zero Hour Arc.

Baxter Stockman: A mad scientist who works at the TCRI.

Bishop: A special agent of the US government and head of the EPF. Main antagonist of City at War Arc.

Hun: A crime boss who is the leader of the Purple Dragons.

Rat King: A mad man who can not only control the rats, BUT ALSO MUTANTS! Main antagonist of Mutant Madness Arc.

TMNT 2012: Medieval AU

This is an AU I had in mind long ago, but never did anything with it. I had a lot of ideas and concepts for this AU, but I never had the time to write a fanfic for it (busy writing other fanfics plus personal stuff going on).

However, I did write these plot/character introduction summaries of the Turtles and Karai, so I thought it would be fun to share them with you! Enjoy! <3

Plot Summary:

The Hamato Kingdom was a peaceful land full of joy and laughter. The land was ruled by King Splinter. Not only was he a wise, brave, kind and was loved by all his subjects, but he was also a loving father of his five children, a daughter and four sons, Princess Miwa, Prince Leonardo, Prince Raphael, Prince Donatello, and Prince Michelangelo. The Kingdom was happy, until one fateful day. The King mysteriously fell ill and too soon he met his untimely death. The kingdom was devastated and the king's children were in despair. Now that the king is gone, Miwa must take the throne and become the Queen her father has prepared her for her whole life, but is she truly ready for the task at hand?

Character Introduction Summary:

King Splinter's oldest child and only daughter, Princess Miwa, is known for being one of the most beautiful and most intelligent maidens in the kingdom. Though she is a lady, she is very knowledgeable when it comes to the battlefield and is skilled with a sword, though her father worries for her safety with her dangerous interests. Her whole life her father has molded her to become the perfect future queen of the kingdom. Everyday preparing her for when she must take the throne, though she does not look forward to her fate as queen. Rather she wants to see what's beyond her kingdom and be free from her royal status. She has a fascination with the dark arts of magic, wanting to learn about it, but she fears to tell her family of this secret desire and true interests. Instead she stays inside the castle walls preparing for her time on the throne to arrive, giving her family a false personality and persona and hiding her true self.

Prince Leonardo is the oldest son, but the second oldest child, of King Splinter. The Prince is as kind and wise as his father, many say he reflects his father at a younger age. The prince loves his kingdom and family dearly. He looks up to his father and idolizes him. He’s responsible, wise, and knowledgeable of the royal court, but his insecurities often take over him for he believes he’s not good enough to be given the title of King and believes his sister will make an excellent ruler instead of him. Leo instead spends his days reading, practicing his sword fighting, or riding his horse around the kingdom’s land. He’s known as a handsome young man who many of the maidens in the kingdom admire. Prince Leo is also unaware of a certain arrangement his father has made with another king from the neighboring Kingdom of Salamandria that involves him and their princess. He loves his family and his kingdom and is willing to do anything to keep them happy and safe.

Prince Raphael, the third oldest, is the most rebellious of the King’s sons. A confident and charming young man who loves to hunt and has a fiery passion to fight for and defend his kingdom alongside the royal guards. However because of his royal status he is obligated to stay in the kingdom, just like his brothers, and work on his royal duties. Though he can’t go to war Raphael still trains with his friend, one of the royal guards, Sir Casey, or chats with the royal blacksmith, Slash, there he learns more about weaponry and how to properly use a blade. Sometimes he envies his older brother Leonardo for the attention and praise he gets from the citizens, often feeling stuck in his shadow. While he’s talented with a sword, Raphael is also blessed with the skills of an artist and a poet. Next to hunting, painting is one of his favorite hobbies. Though he may not seem like it at first glance, Prince Raphael is a kind soul with the heart of an artist, who just wishes to live the life he desires, but his biggest struggle and personal sin is his blooming attraction for his older brother’s betrothal.

Prince Donatello is well known as the most intelligent young man in the kingdom, almost always seen having a book in his hand. Though he is smart he tends to not acknowledge the world around him since he practically grew up in the royal library spending most of his days reading and learning from his private tutors. Practically isolated in the library for years. Some rumor that the young prince was born in the library, hence why he almost never leaves. Being fourth in line to the throne, Donatello doesn’t care if he’ll ever become king or not. The young prince just wishes to travel the land beyond his kingdom and explore the world to learn new things. His intelligence can often make him stubborn and will often refuse to admit wrong. Though his stubbornness was one day called out by his sister’s lady in waiting, April, who told him to be more open to the world and get out of his comfort zone. After that day, Donatello has had an admiration towards April and the mysteries of the outside world.

The youngest child is Prince Michelangelo. The kindest of the four brothers, Michelangelo is rumored to have a heart so pure it's made of gold. He cares for the poor and often donates his riches to charities. His kindness however, can often be taken advantage of. It makes him naive and unsure of the dangers out there in the real world, quite often getting himself into trouble. Because of that, the young prince is required to have a personal guard, Sir Leatherhead, who must keep watch of him everyday. Even with that however, Michelangelo loves to spend time with the servants of the castle for he considers them his family as well and even assists them in their chores when his family is not looking. Michelangelo is a carefree young man with very little duties who’s loved by many and is open to try new things.

Fun Fact: I originally planned to make a fanfic of this AU instead of my other AU fanfic "Turtles in the Roaring 20's", but I had more of a story put together and more passion for the 1920s AU compared to this one, so it was scrapped.

Her name is Hamato Stella and she is the daughter of Hamato Donatello and Jeremy Mitchell.

Backstory: She used to be Jeremy’s pet car but after Jeremy and Donnie brought her along to Draxum’s lab she fell into some ooze and was mutated. Ever since she’s been raised as their daughter.

She is 15 years old

She goes to high school in the Hidden City (hence the logo on her skirt and tie)

She has a bit of training in each of the ninja weapons her father and uncles have used but her main weapons are the kunai and black steel claws

Not too expressive unless she’s irritated

Takes after her dads in the tech savvy department

Often steals shiny things from Donnie’s lab to tinker with (or just to have cuz its cool)

Never cried when she was freshly mutated, just hissed a lot

Donnie and Jeremy have battle scars from when she was a toddler

TMNT SPLINTER HEADCANNONS

Splinter mostly drinks mint teas to help his mind and body relax

Splinter often has nightmares about his past traumas.

Splinter and Shredder have both fought in the war when they were 18 or 20. 

Splinter had a complicated relationship with his father and they were never really close.

Splinter was a mama’s boy. He was very close to his mother and loved her dearly. 

Splinter got into fights and liked to cause trouble when he was a teenager.

Splinter was also a little jealous of Saki when he was young because he seemed to be far more closer with his father then he was and got way more respect. 

Splinter did not want to admit his feelings to Shen at first, partly because of his brother and partly because he did not feel worthy of her.

Splinter would get straight As in art class.

Splinter still gets anxious about fires, even if it is just a small candle.

Before his sons, Splinter thought about committing suicide. Blaming himself for the death of his wife, daughter and even his entire clan. 

Splinter’s mother and father were still alive when he left Japan but he decided to never go back to them even before his mutation.

Splinter blamed his father for Tang Shen’s death and Miwa’s kidnapping. After learning that Shredder was the son of their enemy, Splinter had yelled at his father and told him that if he did not bring the son of their enemy into their lives then his family would still be alive. 

Usagi’s counterpart in their world was Splinter’s best friend as well as a man named Chung I.

Splinter was a bit of a slob when he was young but after raising four boys, he tried to keep things neat and clean. 

Splinter was curious and liked to learn new things. He sometimes got so caught up in what he was doing that he would lose track of time. 

Splinter sometimes wishes that Leonardo would not worry so much and just be a teenager.

Splinter gets so easily annoyed with Raphael because he reminds him so much  of himself when he was young.

Splinter has a hard time understanding Donatello sometimes but he tries his best to connect with his son.

Splinter babies and spoils Mikey. Partly because he reminds him of his sweet Tang Shen but also because well, he is his youngest and most innocent son. 

Splinter spoils Karai the most and tries to give her space since he knows that she needs to figure things out on her own.

Splinter used to believe in revenge and almost acted on it when Shredder took everything he cared about from him but the memory of his loving wife stopped him from doing so.

Splinter still gets deeply depressed on the anniversary of his wife’s death and locks himself in his room until the day is over. 

Splinter holds back a little when fighting Shredder because part of him is still holding on to the memory of when they were brothers.

“Splinter” was his nickname in the war and he made that his first name because he felt like he was not Hamato Yoshi anymore and was fighting the greatest war of all, to keep him and his sons alive.

Splinter does have other clothes than a kimono, he just wears a kimono during training or when company comes over since he is a bit insecure about how he looks in normal clothes. (His seen those videos of people laughing at dressed up animals)

Before Donnie was able, Splinter used to do all the mechanical and doctor things around their home and though it always worked out in the end, it stressed him out which is why he was so grateful to his genius son.

Splinter feels guilty about the burden he placed on his eldest son and sometimes wonders if he should have waited until he and his brothers were older.

Every time the boys come back from a horrible mission, Splinter regrets ever allowing them to go to the surface in the first place and does his best to comfort them.

Splinter’s relationship with Shen was a bit similar to Raph and Monalisa’s relationship. Shen was Splinter’s strength while Splinter was Shen’s courage.

Since it’s turtle day here are some old doodles of my attempt to make my own TMNT iteration before I made ShellShock!!

I didnt really have a solid story at the time and I still really don’t but how it would’ve started is that Hamato Yoshi would’ve come to the US the same way at 12 Splinter did; chased from Japan, his wife and daughter thought dead ect.

He takes up volunteer work for TCRI but gets caught up in mutation experiments and turns into a rat; he escapes, killing the scientists who turned him and the four turtles he shared the lab with. His now newfound sons!

From there I’d say the boys go topside once Shredder finds their location. Think early 2012 story concept wise. Splinter ‘dies’ as the lair caves in and the boys struggle to find a new safe space to call home; as well as grieve their fathers passing.

"Leo's not going anywhere without me," Raph asserted, stepping out of the shadows of some nearby trees. Karai moved aside so Raph could stand at Leo's back.

"We're coming too!" Donnie declared, as he and Mikey darted out from behind a pair of pillars. "Good luck trying to stop us!"

"Yeah!" Mikey agreed as they skidded to a stop next to Leo. "Besides, you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission-quest-thing!"
